2023.06.04 22:25 murderalaska Seeing Ireland's recent reaction video reminded me that her extended family is also in the middle of the Danny Masterson trial. Poor girl. Also I think Larry has toxoplasmosis.
I've been following the Danny Masterson trial very closely through the great Tony Ortega and so when I saw this recent Ireland Baldwin tiktok reaction posted here, it made me think about Ireland's situation growing up in the Baldwin family. Then I remembered that Alec's brother Billy is married to Chynna Phillips, from the 80s group Wilson Phillips. Chynna is Bijou Phillips' half-sister and Bijou is married to Danny fricken Masterson the now convicted rapist.

Combinations of sounds or written symbols that humans are capable of making which can cause sickness, explosions, create things etc... anyone can potentially wield it, and enough people making random noise or scribbling random things might even stumble upon a fragment of it. Also the (admittedly over-used) "sickening runes of chaos" that someone always looks at in every 40k book and quickly looks away again before they vomit and/or go mad.
I guess I just like the idea of 'normal' things like sounds and symbols re-constructed in a way that suddenly becomes frightening. Which brings me to...
Prion diseases. Normal proteins in your brain that misfold in such a way that they become deadly. Not just that, when a misfolded prion comes in contact with a normal protein, it causes the healthy protein to misfold too. The way something is folded... is contagious! 100% death rate, can't be targeted with drugs because there's nothing to target. Surely an early work of the ruinous powers.
TL:DR enuncia and "nauseating" symbols are not so far-fetched, also revising for medical exams and reading 40k to relax has possibly become a bad combo

I really enjoy the book and have a deeper respect for the Catholic viewpoint on the establishment of a hierarchy including Peter having a special role beyond the other apostles. With that being said, in the intro to the book, he straightforwardly mentions that some of the Pope Francis' statements in regard to Zika Virus were highly disagreeable. Does his statement fly in the face of submitting to the magisterium, or are my wife and I misunderstanding what submission to magisterial teaching actually means? We're trying to understand what level of questioning statements from church authorities is acceptable (with the obvious understanding that anything "Ex Cathedra" is non-negotiable). Thanks for your considerations and responses.

Just moved to San Diego from Boston, staying in an Airbnb in North Park for a month while I find an apartment and a big part of where I want to live is near a solid golf course that isn’t super expensive but also isn’t constantly packed.
I played Balboa last time I was here and it was pretty empty but it was raining here and there, so not sure what to normally expect, but walking by it yesterday it seemed pretty packed.
Coronado seems to have the best bang for your buck with the 80 prepaid rounds deal they have, but I’ve read how it’s hard to get a tee time and not sure if people regularly play there as a home course. Same with Torrey Pines, seems pretty affordable with the SD golf card but again not sure if people manage to find tee times there on a regular basis.
I came across the JC golf membership too, which seems intriguing but also don’t know enough about it vs committing to play at one course.
Boston is very pricy for mediocre golf but one thing we did have as an option was public memberships, similar to the Coronado prepaid thing, and I’ve been having a tough time finding something similar around here.

Hello! This is my first post, and thank you all for the wonderful advice, support, and candor that I have read since joining. WARNING: I am exhausted, have cognitive disabilities, this post is very long and disordered. I should write during better circumstances, and apologize I am unable to edit at this time. I do hope you will give me a chance, in my disorder. I have never written publicly about having MS, much less my struggles with DMM choices and Covid. Thank you.
I am currently not on a Disease Modifying Medication, which is a very long story indeed. I was put on Rebif after my 2nd (and last) flare up 16 years ago; the first had been almost exactly a year earlier. I was 34 years old at dx, but suspect I have had MS for many years prior. At the time there were 4 DMMs.
I did well. I did not have any symptomatic flare-ups but I did have new lesions (not a huge load; however I do have in both brain, C-Spine, and T-Spine. My second flare was a very large area of center C-spine and T1 and T2. A post for another day will be: Why have my Lesions in my Center C-spine Vanished? The HUGE one from C3 to C7 and T1 to T2 from second flare are no longer reported on my MRIs, I can't even date when they "fell off." I know they must be there...Post for another day).
Since I stopped working full time about 10yrs ago, I have had zero new lesions. I have my brain and c-spine imagined once a year or more if a suspected issue. I do have a narrowing of the spine, not MS related, perhaps that is why you can't see lesions? Again, not to obsess on for this post, but it is somewhat related.
My neurologist has always said I have a "mild" case of MS, although I do feel I have had cognitive decline, and currently I am in limbo as to if numbness from an injury to my left hand is an old lesion "come to life" maybe egged on by injury and surgery (a new thing I've only learned about this past year, I call them Zombie Lesions. Lesions that were never symptomatic becoming symptomatic with age---I am 51. Although I think it might be the "missing" lesions the are center and affected right hand sensory 16 yrs ago, but I regained all feeling suddenly about 5yrs ago. I think it has now gone to left hand, although again, you can't see lesion. They keep saying it might be an old non symptomatic lesion at left of C4).
I guess sensory issues in my old neurologist's book are considered "mild," which maybe with right hand I would have agreed, but certainly not my left. My first flare up one half of my entire head went numb, including one half of tongue and gums. That resolved completely with no steroids by the time I was dx with MS in a months time.
He had been fine with me on Rebif until I had a child and was honest I was not taking all the time, or at all, and had to restart serval times. I never had any Rebif side-effects. He wanted me on Tysabri to ensure I was being compliant. It was an extremely protracted time to begin treatment. The pandemic hit, I wanted to wait to be vaccinated which created a riff between us. He also put me in charge of finding my own infusion center as I could not commute in to the Hospital (everything was Zoom; he was not at Center---why? He was waiting to be vaccinated...). It took me a long time with insurance to find a site, then it was 5 min from my home and they told me they had many of his patients at their Center. Hmmm. I had an injury that further delayed treatment. I also switched neurologists at Center and had a bit of a wait to get in to see her. The entire time from 2020 through 2021 I was JC Virus Negative, When my new neuro ordered bloods so I could begin treatments, I had gone JC Virus Positive. I was told I could not be on Tysabri for PML risk.
I am extremely risk adverse. I've had horrible experiences with pharma my entire life, not only MS related. I know the newer meds are where I should be looking, but the regular side-effects (potential) freak me out, and I do not want to take any of the indiscriminate B Cell killer DMMS (bad word---no ill will intended, I'm exhausted and cannot think of a better word). I do not want to become immune suppressant because of the Covid Pandemic. I live outside of NYC and we are constantly slammed with every variant. Right now...no data, so things look good, however wastewater in NYC is telling a different story.
THE QUESTION
How do you not fear bad outcomes from Covid if you are on one of the more immunosuppressant DMMs? I know all meds knock down immunity, that is the point, but Rebif not in the same way, well, all first generation not in the same way. They will not let me go back on Rebif for reasons I do not want to discuss here (has nothing to do with adherence or their opinion that I can still be in good standing MS wise on the medication). They have offered Copaxone knowing my risk fear.
I would actually LOVE to be on a newer medication since I have recently been a complete wreck reading all the new research on MS---it seems with better imaging comes more frightening discoveries. I have always made peace with having MS, I cannot hate it as it is a part of me. This has been the first year I have been seriously feeling overwhelmed. I screamed in the living room in front of my small child "I HATE MS!!" over and over this past winter. This is not me.
It was and is because of the hand injury and not knowing if a Zombie Lesion or an MIA lesion is the cause of very awful sensory experiences and pain. To the point I can't sleep. My new neuro said no it would not regain sensory like my right hand, IF MS, as no way to really know as again not an active or new lesion---old, can't even treat (although I do feel it could have been treated with IV Steroids as I felt it spreading, but she did not consider sensory to be something that she would treat symptomatically, because not a new lesion, but also she didn't consider sensory that urgent. We disagree on this, but it is too late now). I don't understand why there is no hope to regain as I did a decade later in my right hand. My right hand does still act up under extreme stress, lack of sleep, heat. But it is not dead numb as it was before.
I understand the newer meds will not give me back sensory in left hand (if it is MS; it is all a confusing ordeal). I do worry very much about all the data and studies I have found on my own. The Center has not updated me in years on any new research---such as lesions coming to life as you age. I was told in the appointment previous that after 50 yrs old lesions slow down, so that it really was my choice to go on a DMM or not. Then when my hand had a set-back I learned that after 50 these old lesions can come alive (nothing a DMM can do about this either). I am now 51 yrs old.
I'm afraid of new C-spine lesions. A study I read saying C-spine lesions are a predictor of a worse course of MS. Afraid of the VA study showing that people who stayed on and adhered exactly to DMM protocol lived longer by a factor of 12 times than people who did not stay on DMM or adhere correctly. They even put up years from dx for those on DMM and those not. It was sobering. I would be dead by 67; then again the study two years ago concluding everyone with MS had an average life span of I believe it was 76.8 years---when before I was told no reason to believe life span would be shortened. I want to be healthy. I want to do the right thing. I have a 6yr old daughter.
How do you all balance being the statistic of those who die of Covid or have bad outcome due to being on an immunosuppressant? Evusheld is gone. Along with some first line treatments. I'm not sure how to live in a world where I feel constantly unsafe in my body from either untreated MS, or from being immune suppressed. I know there is a new med in phase 3 that is targeted to B-cells that only attack your CNS, but is not going before FDA for another 3 years. That is a big gamble to be on no meds that long. But my risk comfort level then puts me at Copaxone, which might be a fools gold.
I know people FEEL better on the newer meds, symptomatically, too. I know depression and mood disorders can be decreased. I know the risk of a lesion you have no idea might be forming that might be "the big one" is always around the corner without a stronger med. I know my brain won't shrink as fast, and secondary progressive can be delayed.
But I fear Covid greatly. I had it once, and we are an extremely careful family who N95 at every inside event (which are very few places). My MS went nuts, I could feel all the spots I have had troubles with, and then my left hand had the set back. My husband is also at high risk for different reasons. I would be terrified I would be more vulnerable to infection and pass to him, and our 6yr old. Having a 6yr old in school is also difficult---I would most likely start kesimpta tomorrow if I did not have a child. She masks too, but I do not want her to mask forever. How many more years? I want her to be able to (masked) go to more indoor activities, or to a friend's home inside to play, and not constantly worry about my husband, or me if immune compromised (I will keep masking regardless, however masks are not 100% effective I know personally. However, if I was immune compromised I would be constantly fearful). Please be kind of do not make answers a debate about masking; although I will be respectful of people's views.
I do have an MS related mood disorder, with huge panic attacks. It makes it very difficult to adjust to this new world with MS, much less with a more powerful DMM. The flip side: I want to live by a factor of 12 more for my child.
Where do you find balance and peace? Do you live your life isolated? I already isolate a great deal, having to do with cognitive issues, but also Covid to an extent. Again, NYC area is always slammed. I do worry constantly about what choice to make. My child is the biggest hurdle, as she does put me more at risk, and I would her too. I don't want one day to go straight to my Center while she might hang a right to the Long Term Covid Center at the same hospital. Dramatic thoughts I realize, but very real to me. Yale study showed long Covid was exhausted T Cell fighting...reactivated Epstein Barr. Well that sounds too familiar.
Please share your thoughts behind comfort level with Covid and DMM?
I do not want this to be a debate about Covid. I want sincere, kind replies, but please also speak your truth. I will respect everyone's views. I apologize for the length and rambling disorder. I have not had sleep for several days, which is of course horrible for MS, as well as having cognitive issues. I was at one time a writer, it is crushing. Especially to live somewhere now where no one knew me before MS. And this is my introduction to this group, and a very poorly written one in need of much editing. I'm not sure how to live in a world where I feel constantly unsafe in my body from either untreated MS, or from being immune suppressed. I know there is a new med in phase 3 that is targeted to B-cells that only attack your CNS, but is not going before FDA for another 3 years. That is a big gamble to be on no meds that long. But my risk comfort level then puts me at Copaxone, which might be a fools gold.
I know people FEEL better on the newer meds, symptomatically, too. I know depression and mood disorders can be decreased. I know the risk of a lesion you have no idea might be forming that might be "the big one" is always around the corner without a stronger med. I know my brain won't shrink as fast, and secondary progressive can be delayed.
But I fear Covid greatly. I had it once, and we are an extremely careful family who N95 at every inside event (which are very few places). My MS went nuts, I could feel all the spots I have had troubles with, and then my left hand had the set back. My husband is also at high risk for different reasons. I would be terrified I would be more vulnerable to infection and pass to him, and our 6yr old. Having a 6yr old in school is also difficult---I would most likely start kesimpta tomorrow if I did not have a child. She masks too, but I do not want her to mask forever. How many more years? I want her to be able to (masked) go to more indoor activities, or to a friend's home inside to play, and not constantly worry about my husband, or me if immune compromised (I will keep masking regardless, however masks are not 100% effective I know personally. However, if I was immune compromised I would be constantly fearful). Please be kind of do not make answers a debate about masking; although I will be respectful of people's views.
I do have an MS related mood disorder, with huge panic attacks. It makes it very difficult to adjust to this new world with MS, much less with a more powerful DMM. The flip side: I want to live by a factor of 12 more for my child.
Where do you find balance and peace? Do you live your life isolated? I already isolate a great deal, having to do with cognitive issues, but also Covid to an extent. Again, NYC area is always slammed. I do worry constantly about what choice to make. My child is the biggest hurdle, as she does put me more at risk, and I would her too. I don't want one day to go straight to my Center while she might hang a right to the Long Term Covid Center at the same hospital. Dramatic thoughts I realize, but very real to me. Yale study showed long Covid was exhausted T Cell fighting...reactivated Epstein Barr. Well that sounds too familiar.

I do not want this to be a debate about Covid. I want sincere, kind replies, but please also speak your truth. I will respect everyone's views. I apologize for the length and rambling disorder. I have not had sleep for several days, which is of course horrible for MS, as well as having cognitive issues. I was at one time a writer, it is crushing. Especially to live somewhere now where no one knew me before MS. And this is my introduction to this group, and a very poorly written one in need of much editing. Last month, my photoshop 2022 version got the "you're using an unlicensed software pop-up" on it and every 60 seconds that I'd have the app on, it would automatically crash or force me to exit out of the application. It turns out that I had accidentally allowed Photoshop 2022 through LuLu, and it phoned home to Adobe. This time, I uninstalled it using the normal adobe uninstaller in the application drawer, reinstalled it, and it worked fine. As you can see, it's running in the background with zero issue and has worked since. However, I'm starting to think that "virus" for lack of a better term (because that's what I'd consider Adobe spyware -_- ) spread into some of my other adobe apps. The above screenshot is showing Illustrator wanting to force exit despite being completely blocked and having zero internet functionality. This happened randomly today and I cannot for the life of me understand how it connected to adobe servers, as I have manually checked every port and app and process through LuLu that has wanted to connect using adobe, and all are completely blocked. It actually updated, showed me a "what's new" screen and gave me a tutorial with blue text bubbles, and even signed into my burner adobe account which it never had access to, yet still has zero internet connectivity when I try to use cloud extensions thanks to LuLu! I deleted and removed the installation and *every* related file that AppCleaner could find before I purged Illustrator 2022 from my computer for good. I gave my mac a hard reset, and installed a newer copy of Illustrator 2023 which gives this same exact error. The app runs fine and functions normally, for around 70 seconds every time after startup before force-quitting. I deleted it meticulously again, and used the same illustrator 2022 installer. No luck, same popup and force quitting. I am running an M1 MacBook Pro 2TB 13' on Big Sur 11.6.8. Any help would be much appreciated as I have a deadline I need to meet. Thanks Zii community. |

Number 5: Custom night
Custom Night has been a thing since the first FNAF game. It haven't been in the FNAF 3 and 4 but returns in Sister location. It would be great we get a custom night in VR 2 since the first VR game didn't have one. But it's most likely we get a DLC custom night like in FNAF sister location.Number 4: Pizzeria simulator characters
I really like it if we get the pizzeria simulator characters in the game. Maybe each brand will get their own mini game. Trash and the gang will be a trash despoil with the trash characters trying to get you when you're trying to take out the trash. The Mediocre melodies will have a pipe cleaning game that has you cleaning the pipes with them trying to get you. The rockstar animatronics will have a game where you have to give the right instruments to the right animatronic. For the posh Pizzeria group they'll have a game where you must find the problem in the kitchen with them trying to jumpscare you at each of the machines. For the salvaged animatronics I thought a printing room where the animatronics will try to get you when you're trying to print out the papers for the party.Number 3: Arcade repairs.
In this game we have to repair the arcade machines. We have two games that each have a different animatronic.Roxanne WolfThe racing game is broken. Fix it with the the electric screwdriver. But be careful the screwdriver is loud and alert Roxanne Wolf. Wait until Roxy goes back to sleep and then start fixing again. Once inside the connect the wires to the right spots then recrew the cover. If you continue drilling then Roxanne will run towards you ending your run with a jumpscare.
Montgomery GatorFind the thing that jamming the arcade game Fruity maze. But watch out for Monty. This you hear a rumble that means Monty is opening the hatch. Pull it back against him once he go away go back to your task. Take all the junk out and put them in a bag. If Monty open the cover all the way then you fail your task and Monty have get you with a jumpscare.
Number 2: Glitchtrap's final fright
In the final game in FNAF VR 2 we fight Glitchtrap for real in his true form. We need to find the virus killer program disk and put in the disk player. Glitchtrap will glitch intro the room you're in, if you pick the room you want to next. Once you input the disk the program will kill Glitchtrap for good. This game will be unlock when you collected all of the tapes. After defeating him we get a damage glitchy plush version of him.Number 1: Hints to the next game.
We all know FNAF shouldn't just end there. We can find hints to the next game in the blueprints. We can find them in the games. They'll show characters we haven't seen before including new versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and Chica. We even see theme parks rides hinting that the next game will take place at a theme park. And in the DLC we'll find a new version of the Vanny mask. If we put this on, we learn that Vanny find out that her master is gone. This hinting on finding on that who kill him in the next game.Disclaimer
