How do you guys feel about wrapping a ranger?
I've been thinking about getting a fresh paint job on my beloved ranger, but have started to consider vinyl wrapping my truck instead due to price.
Has anyone here wrapped their ranger?
She's an 2004 XLT 4.0 V6 with a standard transmission. Very clean truck but the paint is pretty faded due to her life being spent in the Arizona sun.

2023.05.28 18:36 Single-Court-9946 How did I get here

No need to say anything dating related. I’m married and happy and lay pipe on the reg to my thicc juicy wife.
That being said
Why am I getting such thirsty notifications from so many children such as yourself? I assume you, the reader of this post, has the mental capacity of an HOA-approved house plant since you’re asking Reddit for relationship advice.
My main comment is; how about y’all stop being so thirsty? I bought a Cake Stroker from Walmart for $10 and it relieved more anxiety than any thumb twiddling you cretins do on here.
This is meant to be taken very seriously, as I know you Reddit mouth-breathers like to key up anyone who isn’t sex-positive like a Roman orgy. You people disgust me with your thirsty genitals. Burn in a fire, Reddit scum

2023.05.28 18:28 DaveOfTheDead3 Just bought Ender 3 Max Neo any advise?

Hey gang I finally broke down and got another printer. My first is an Ender 3 I upgraded with new hotend, metal extruder, bigtreetech v3, springs and pei bed.
So after looking I finally settled for the Ender 3 Max Neo mainly because of price and for the dual z, large print bed and the fact I'm very familiar with brand. curious if anyone has any advise/warning/tips about this printer.
PS found it cheapest at Walmart for $340 after tax with free shipping. Most was same before tax in case anyone looking. Does take a week to ship tho but I'm in no rush.

My first Track Day set
Never seen a Track Day set out in the wild before. Was almost convinced they didn't exist around here. Stopped at Walmart as my last stop today after every other store was a bust and found 4 of these so I had to scoop 1. I'm a VW/Audi guy but the Essenza is gorgeous in person.

2023.05.28 18:24 VirtuallySober Summer Base Training - Would This Work?

tl;dr: would this modified Higdon Intermediate Base Building Plan work for slowly increasing mileage from 20 - 30mpw over a hot summer?
I just finished my first ever Half Marathon (personal distance run, not a real race) and I want to start preparing for running a marathon next February. Since it's about to be summer in Arizona, I'm not keen on starting a long distance training program until at least Sept/Oct when the mornings are more manageable. However, I want to build my running base and try and add more total miles to my weekly mileage while I wait for it to cool off.
I used Higdons novice 2 HM plan and really enjoyed it. I looked at his base building plans and while I like the idea of running more days, some of the plan just seemed untenable to me for super hot days (namely running lots of hills or tempos... also there are zero hills around me).
I took the novice 2 program and modified it looking at his intermediate base building plan. I think my overall goal here would be to increase my mileage from 20mpw to ~30mpw but doing it in a way that keeps me under 2 hours of total running time during the summer.

2023.05.28 18:22 AverKartYT Just started at Walmart, already taking issue with something

So I just started working as a Seasonal TA (temp) at my Walmart for the summer. My friend had told me that the position was surprisingly relaxed, and that team leads/management were chill. Plus I make more than my previous retail job. And he was right, working in the lawn and garden center is very relaxed, especially compared to my previous job.
That was, until about an hour into my second day. There were so many TAs in lawn and garden, so my team lead sent me to help at the front end for the next 7 hours. I only had less than 3 hours of prior training/experience on the lawn and garden registers, so this was quite a jump for me. I had experience with checking before at my previous job, but needless to say Walmart has a lot of differences in their system. Plus I have some bad anxiety that triggers whenever I'm put into checking positions, which is part of the reason I prefer sticking to, say, the lawn and garden registers if I absolutely have to do checking.
It was a struggle for me up front. I wasn't familiar with many operations, and team leads got frustrated with me for not knowing things that I feel I should've been trained on. I don't think any of them knew it was only my second day. I was fortunate to have other front-end people around to support me and answer questions that I had, but the whole experience did not sit well with me. I get extremely anxious even now just by thinking of the idea of being in a position like that again.
I think my plan going forward is to be more assertive with my team leads. Being assertive is something I've always struggled with, but I'll need to overcome. If I'm asked to sub in up front again, I think I'll tell them that it was rough last time and that I think I'll need to refine my experience on the register before going up front again. I'm not sure though; if this is a frequent occurrence then this might just not be the right job for me.
I don't mean to sound like I just don't want to work, or that I don't want to follow my team lead's directions just because I don't like them. I just get anxious in situations with high customer interaction and service, especially if I'm shaky with what I'm doing. Maybe this whole post was just a vent and that I should be more assertive or find something else. But I'm interested in what you guys have to say.

2023.05.28 18:21 Aggravating_Plantain Street parking in Middle Island/Yaphank?

Went biking in cathedral pines yesterday and it was awesome, but not $15 for parking awesome. I don't mind parking somewhere nearbyish though and riding in. Looks like there's an access road near the Walmart on middle country road. But I don't know if Town of Brookhaven or like Middle Island/Yaphank has hidden street parking rules (e.g., in the incorporated part of valley stream, you can only park on street for like 2 hours). Tried googling to no avail.
Anyone local to there know?

2023.05.28 18:14 HallTrash_IW Evaporator Core

I have a 2002 sr5 that isn’t blowing cold when it’s hot out (Arizona) so most of the time.
Shop saying it’s leaking refrigerant at the evap core O rings, quoted me $1200 the have them fix. I’m not super into mechanicing but I think I can handle this.
Anyone have tips or tricks on this one? I’ve been watching and re watching “Cooper’s Automotive Repair” on YouTube but wanted to ask in here about everyone else’s experience.

2023.05.28 18:00 Ok_Nectarine4003 Need advice. Weird situation...

So, my store closed, and I had an emergency transfer. At the new store, they never finalized my transfer so corporate terminated me. I never received my last paycheck, and I work tomorrow at Walmart (my store told me to fill out time adjustment sheets until I get reinstated as a worker) but I cannot afford to go to work until I get paid. I was supposed to get paid last Thursday. What do I do? I called corporate, and opened tickets about the situation and they told me they would leave me an email or call me in 24 hours which didn't happen. I'm not motivated to work when I can't afford to get to work unless I walk for 2 hours. They said the store that closed-- the old HR worker-- mailed me my check from a new store they transferred to, but it never came in the mail. I'm in a catch 22 and corporate nor my store managers have been successful helping me. I was supposed to been transferred in March and been clocking in under visiting store in the meantime until then, but since I've been terminated, my account has been disabled. I really just need to get paid.

2023.05.28 18:00 societycontributer Been parking like a jackass on purpose

Not in the city but when I’m in Walmart towns with seas of strip malls with half empty parking lots, it’s a really easy way to never have to hunt for your car again, you stand out like a sore thumb this way. Why should I stop? Because of people’s perception of me… I don’t care. Because it’s illegal….it’s not illegal. Why stop?

2023.05.28 18:00 Twitch_and_panic Jaw surgery years ago now lots of pain

I am 49 years old. When I was 16 I had surgery to correct a bad overbite. I was fine until in my 30s I began to experience jaw pain especially on the left side. The joint cracks and pops. The only relief I get is wearing an athletic mouth guard. Sometimes I wear it all day to avoid pain. Oddly chewing gum and eating bring relief not pain. I’ve avoided seeking help because I figure the mouth guard helps me cope and I don’t trust more surgery. I called the doctor that did my surgery a few years ago just looking for help and options but that call went oddly. When I told them why I was calling they were quick to get rid of me. So I just live with this pain. I’m not sure if this is TMJ or what’s going on. I assume getting elbowed in the jaw many times while playing basketball over the years is what started the pain and jaw joint issues I now experience.
I’m just curious if anyone else has a similar story and if there’s any hope of getting this fixed. I don’t even know who to go talk to about it. An orthodontist one time saw me and said he could make me a mouth piece to ear that would fix it. I tried that and it didn’t fix anything. After chewing through it finally I started buying cheap mouth guards at Walmart because they helped me get relief just as well. Anyway just curious if there’s any option to truly get help. Thanks

2023.05.28 17:45 wepache Is Credit products the only good products at Navy Federal?

Hear me out, I think Navy Federal has superb customer service compared to the national banks. But so do other banks, like Charles Schwab, Discover, Ally, SoFi, etc. So this perk is not exclusive to Navy Federal.
But their Checking’s account are not that great compared to the competition. They have much less ATMs than other banks. Not all CO-OP network banks work with Navy Federal and it’s very difficult for me to find any when I need it randomly in my area. And you only get a $10 ATM reimbursement fee for out of network ATMs. They also charge you a fee on their end if you use an out of network ATM if you don’t have the right account.
Charles Schwab does unlimited reimbursement worldwide. Ally does $20 a month. Discover works with Allpoint network ATMs and you can deposit cash for free at any Walmart.
Their worst product is their Savings Account. With all time high interest rates they won’t budge and offer a competitive rate for savings account.
Ally and Discover offer interest rates close to the 4%. Ally just raised their rates for their money market accounts to 4.10% with FDIC insurance. Even Schwab has a money market fund (through their brokerage) that pays 4.75%.
Navy Federal’s only competitive product is their 12 month CDs. But they basically pay you what other banks pay you in their savings account. But their CDs is a product that I would use for goal orientated savings.
So what is all the hype with Navy Federal? I will admit, Navy Federal credit products are great. It’s a great way to rebuild your credit, and move towards high limits and open up doors you would not have.
But I just wish they were more competitive in their banking products.
