i just lost my grandma to a brain tumour about an hour and a half ago. we found out about it exactly 1 week ago on june 2nd and had no choice but to move forward as her tumour continued to progress faster than ever. by the time we caught it the tumour had already grown to a 5 x 4 cm sized peach.. the worst part was we couldn’t even hear her speak for the last week of her life.
it’s like all her symptoms leading up to her death still doesn’t make sense.. 6 months ago she got cataract surgery and immediately after she experienced a loss of sense of taste.. couldn’t taste anything then couldn’t taste sweet things and everything was bitter. this went on for months and we were trying to help her. she began developing a hard time swallowing and started choking on food and liquid pretty much everytime she ate.
2 months ago began dementia-like symptoms: she couldn’t remember things, she’d ask a question then immediately forget she asked or that i answered. start saying inappropriate things like asking my 15 year old sister if she’s pregnant. the decline kinda just progressed at lightening speed from there. in those 2 months she slowly started losing strength in her legs, especially the right side of her body. she began to lose balance and fall frequently but never complained of feeling pain when she fell. we would find her laying on the ground beside her bed or chair or wherever, fallen and unable to get up.
she couldn’t walk without holding onto things and soon could hardly use her feet at all. she experienced loss of bowel and bladder control and put up a fight about everything including wearing her diaper. she was basically smearing poop on the walls and trying to shove poo down the sink. one of my last moments with her at home is of her standing in her diaper of poop trying to shove shit down the sink pipes.
we brought her into emergency shortly after that incident as she seemed unable to even sit up properly in her chair or hold up her hand to feed herself. she would be “well” and then suddenly extremely unwell. that overnight stay showed us a brain tumour the size of a peach and thus she was hooked onto a ventilator for the remaining week of her life.
after that she would just look at us, big eyed but we never will know what she could’ve been thinking about. i wonder if she even knew what was happening or that she was dying.. i assume she was experiencing delirium as last night when we were visiting she was seemingly a lot stronger and she waved us out of her way, when asked if she was trying to see what they were doing to the patient across from her she nodded yes. she was more interested in what they were doing to the patient across from her than of us! even if all she had to say was some random shit i would’ve loved to hear it one more time.
the only thing she never forgot how to do was pray. even with the ventilator on her windpipe she would pray and count prayers on her fingers using the lines on each knuckle. even in her state she would make us wash her feet for the fourth time in a row for her wudhu. she would pray for hours because she kept forgetting how many she’s done. she was so stubborn she wouldn’t listen to us. her faith was so strong for the entirety of her life all the way to the very end past delirium. i don’t know if i’ll ever meet a person as true to their faith in God as my grandma.
as for her diagnoses, we never really got one. a biopsy would take 10 days for results and with the size of it removal is impossible no matter what. this means she would suffer for those 20 days and have to heal from the incision taken for the biopsy and continue to be hooked onto a ventilator. chemotherapy to shrink the tumour sounded more torturous to her than helpful and we decided to settle into palliative care.. her tumour was pushing on her frontal and temporal lobe and pushing her brain up against the other side of her skull. she was a healthy women her whole life, but she was also very scared of doctors and illness and treatment. pains she felt leading up to her death she kept a secret, and they must have been intense pains. the only thing she had consistently was headaches her entire life.
and as for her death.. well we all gathered and our nurse took out the ventilator. we pretty much watched her struggle to breath and gargle for hours in her fluid filled lungs before she seemed to be breathing better. 5 hours later she passed in her sleep. we were hoping to be able to talk to her tomorrow.
i wanted to share her struggle over these past few months as it had come to us as such a shock, and if anyone had any experience with this stuff they’d like to share i’d love to listen. my grandma was incredibly strong and deeply complicated. she put up a good fight and never ever lost her faith in God. thank you if you made it this far

I've found out how detrimental my shortness is to my life and I gotta uncontrolledly compare myself to others in various respects except height to compensate for my bad feelings brought about by my shortness and I think to end them all, limb lengthening surgery is unavoidable.
I am 23 y.o this year and I am only 162-163cm as a Chinese.

Except these, the only bad thing I have is my height, which impresses every woman that I am a short man and I think even if I date them they will be just like 'You are short. I admit you are excellent but sorry I can't date you you are really short', not to mention I am living in the most toxic environment(because China is the most toxic country when it comes to heightism).

I’ve just woken up. And after the dream I just experienced I had to get it on paper.
I haven’t really posted on Reddit for a while but I remember this subreddit so I had to post this as this was intense plus I’m questioning it. So;
My father was in my bedroom complaining about his side. On about a medicine (tablets) I told him to calm down and chill out. I remember the sepsis he had at that point.
Then I was on a mountain/ hill with dad and spud …. There was a boxing ring being built to which I said ‘when are you doing this then?’ Spud replied ‘doing it bit by bit’ I replied ‘that’s the best way in it’
Dad then showed up and was really tired, almost in agonising pain, struggling. I tried to get him down the hill. He put his arm around me and I couldn’t take his weight, I fell on to the one arm I had free which then caved and I screamed ‘argh my arm’
I was then back in my house and it was early hours (3am) My dad still struggling, I could hear a grinder in the distance and thought ‘what the hell is this guy playing at?’ I looked out my bedroom window and could see someone in the distance making his way towards my house. Using a chainsaw to cut through everything. This psycho was dressed in overalls, welders helmet and equipped to destroy.
They cut through my neighbours walls and entered and then I could hear them starting to cut through my wall. My dad was passed out on the floor down stairs with cardboard wrapped around him.
I panicked and tried to pull him in to the kitchen to hide from this psycho but he was nearly through in to the living room. I ran to the kitchen to grab knives and waited on the corner of the door ready to attack.
The psycho jumps in to the room. Looks at my dad on the floor and I was about to rush him because I thought he was going to swing his axe at my father but he didn’t. He broke the front window and jumped out.
I then woke up.
My father passed away in January from sepsis and I was really close to him as he was to me.

Hello, I think I know what the right thing to do is, but as a any sane person, I shall ask the internet :) tl;dr My husband and I have been together for 6 years in total and have been married for 2 years. I am 26, he is 28. let's dive right into it - honestly, I have fallen out of love with him for a while, but have been to scared to do anything about it. The beginning of the relationship was, as I thought, quite beautiful, I was madly in love. But he has shown signs of controlling behaviour since the start - I was his first serious relationship, but he was not mine. He has shown a lot of attitude towards me not being a virgin, a smoker and overweight. I will get into that later.
We met when I lived in a foreign country and got together when I was really depressed and lonely. I did not see it at the time. We were nicely dating and after about 4 months we moved in together. Quick - I know, but the circumstances lead to this. I think I should add some good points about him, because, like I said, I was really in love with him. Our point of views on a lot of things were aligned and it seemed like our goals in life aligned too.
He was always supportive when I had my low moments and would always hold me when I would be crumbling. I remember, I used to say - I am sorry, I'm a bit broken. He would answer - don't worry, I will fix you. (a red flag in retrospect). He is also good at home - does not conform to the "standard" ideals of marriage - woman cooking and cleaning, which I really appreciate. He is also very handy at home, built our fence and terrace with no training, so that's also nice. My family (aunts mostly) love him, so I guess he knows how to put a nice appearance, however, my mom and sister are not so fond of him.
Now a bit about our marriage - since we started dating my weight has always been an issue - honestly I always had issues with it, but I feel like during our relationship I developed an eating disorder. I cannot say, that he caused me to develop it, but he has not been exactly kind about it. Only recently he started watching curvy girls on instagram and telling me I'm a goddess and that he is sorry that he did not see it earlier. He also basically admitted that only now, after 6 years of a relationship, he fell in love with me. So I feel like I've been lied to and lead on for so long and even got married with a person that did not love me.
Other things he abused me about:

• I used to be a smoker, and a couple of years ago started on and off vaping - at first, when I told him, he used to get so mad at me and be cold and not talk to me until I was like grovelling. Then I started hiding it, lying about it and vaping in secret - he caught me a few times and always threatened me with divorce, even took his ring to a pawn shop once (took it back later with money I lent him, not sure if he gave it back, oh well).
• I started studying for a master's degree in another town and kept travelling to the other town a lot and barely staying at home - we have agreed upon this before I started the studies, but by the end he started to guilt me, that I'm not home enough. I mean I get it, he is lonely, but it's not easy for me either.
• Recently I got a job, where I earn almost twice as much money, as he does. I am very picky about my money, and quite stingy about it honestly, I think it comes from never having money in my life, so I am very protective of it. When I got the job, his view was, that we should pool our money and have the "family money", which I was not comfortable with, so I said no. I did say, that we can put in the same amount of money into the shared account and I can put in a little bit more, because I earn more - that is fine. He blamed me for not being invested fully in the relationship and keeping one foot out the door.
• Not sure if it's abuse per say, but I, as any person I think, need attention and compliments. He would never give me any for the first 5 years, rather subtly put me down and pick on me. He has been trying to give me more compliments lately, but I mean should it require effort if you are in love?
• Something that I don't think is abuse but just hurt me deeply - I have been singing my whole life and I am quite proud of my singing. I always used to get compliments about my singing. He never liked it and openly admitted it. I mean it's fine, you cannot decide what you enjoy. It just hurt me, that my closest person does not enjoy my proudest asset.

Don't get me wrong - I know I am not without faults - I yell a lot, I am messy and quite selfish, but I don't think I don't deserve effort and love. The next part is going to be rough and triggering for some people, so stop here if you want and please let me know what you think.

About a year ago, my husband discovered wife-sharing and decided he wants to try it. Partially to spice up our life. I initially said no and kept saying no. The biggest problem for me was that he wanted me to meet guys on tinder and take photos/videos of me having sex with them, because it turns him on. I did it once at first, got a short video for him. It always made me feel icky, but I still did it. I texted some more guys and then stopped because it felt just awful. He was not happy, but he was ok to stop. After a few months he kept mentioning it and I agreed to do it again. And I actually got quite into it - my sex life with my husband was boring and I indulged in his fantasy. I actually went to meet a guy and fully had sex with him and took a picture afterwards for my husband so that he would be more included. Right when I left the guy's home, I wanted to call my husband and tell him all about it. Little did I know, he got very upset and mad at me and told me, that a little part of him hoped, that I wouldn't do it. Long story short, I got really upset because this was his idea, almost broke up with him then and there but after a little while he apologised.
We stopped this for a while and went to a New Year's party, where he got drunk and told about our sex life to anyone who would listen, without me hearing, complete strangers to him - some friends to me. Unfortunately I found out about this from my sister a couple of weeks later. When I confronted him about it, he managed to turn it around on me, that I shouldn't care what people think about me. Unfortunately - I do.
Later on he kept nagging me about more guys, I kept saying no. I would like to emphasise, that I said no many times. He can be very persuasive mind you and eventually wore me down saying, that it won't affect his feelings again. I'm sure you can all tell by now, that was not true. I slept with some more guys and actually started to enjoy myself, but since he wanted videos or pictures, I didn't, he was always unhappy and made me feel bad about it. His latest idea was that he would arrange it all and invite a guy to our home. and he did. He watched a little and of course, like he said, kinda stopped loving me.
That same week (yesterday) I went back to the town where my studies are and we had a big fight over messages. He said, if I want to meet anyone here, then I would have to take pictures or videos for him and I said no, I would rather not meet anyone. But let me remind you, that I already started enjoying it. He said, well, I kinda got my fill already, I think we should stop. I was willing to stop, but just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of stopping when he didn't want it and he got upset about me pushing back. It triggered something in me and I told him we should separate or get a divorce. He said, that I want to separate only to fuck around. I said ok, if you think so - divorce then. He said fine by me.
After this very long monologue - I hope I don't get too much criticism, but I do expect some. What do you think - if he tries to stay together - should I stay?

I never replay games. I’m more of a one and done it kind of guy, but something about ATB’s gameplay and story compelled me to play it not once, not twice, but four times at the time of writing. It certainly helps that the game is short (although I think the universal praise of The Outer Wilds demonstrates that this isn’t a bad thing).
My latest playthrough clocked in at ~35 minutes at the time of writing in order to get the Toot Sweet achievement. Ironically, this exact pursuit of achievements led me to get the Librarian achievement and, ultimately, finally read all the story notes chronologically.
Notwithstanding, ATB is a nauseatingly haunting game on harder difficulties. The monster is deadly, the resources are scarce, the tone is grim, and the darkness encompasses it all. Above all of this, the story is worth telling and I posit that the game’s genre, coupled with the Amnesia brand being notoriously terrifying if PewDewPie is to be believed, will prevent a lot of people from playing it. That’s such a shame.
Without further obfuscation, I want to encourage you to play the game; immerse yourself in its world and discover its truth for yourself. Your appreciation for the story will only compound the more time you spend stalking the halls of the unnamed bunker it takes place in.

The calamity of World War I, having already wrought havoc on the bodies and minds of Henri’s unit, is only intensified by these foolhardy orders. This bunker is destined to become “a rancid, stinking pit. A void, a hole. Full of men, scared and confused.”
Eight days later, on 10 April, Henri’s compatriot, Toussaint Beaufoy, pens a poem We Whirl the World that reflects on the grim events of the war and foreshadows the events of the game.

Henri’s unit begins digging and on 30 April, another soldier, Alex Noyer, extrapolates on why the unit has been ordered to dig: the bunker lay atop Roman ruins that extend towards the German lines. The command wants to use these prebuilt tunnels to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. However, Noyer’s interest lay more in the archaeological significance of the dig.
With the dig well underway, the other soldiers begin to experience haunting symptoms. Notably, Beaufoy, who witnesses some horror on the night of 5 May, that shatters his psyche. He refuses to discuss what he witnessed with anybody, yet he revels in it; “I want to go back to that place. I want to feel that way. I want the violence and the ecstasy and the pitch-black darkness.”
May 1916 - Alex Noyer’s Journal - Digging Up a Dark Secret
A week later (9 May), Noyer is presented with archaic texts uncovered during the digging. He begins to read them and discovers the texts are not of typical Roman writings. Rather, the texts are religiously significant repeating the phrase “to cross into darkness and beyond.”
These texts originated from a people that believed they found the key to immortality, a blessing bestowed upon them from some “other world… dominated by darkness… ruled by something…” These damned texts went on to describe this world as “full of spirits, monsters and that the air there was endlessly alive with cries of torment and the sickly rattle of souls near death.”
The tunnels that the men were digging were used by this ancient people as a portal to this “pagan hell.”
This manifested in our world as the need for the followers to commit sickening acts that appealed to the primal instincts of humanity; “blood orgies, of sadistic spirits, of the awful things these men and women would do to each other in worship of darkness” and a magical liquid that would grant the believer’s immortality in darkness.
Noyer enters the tunnels sometime on 14 May, and discovers more of the cursed history of the tunnels. “The Romans used these tunnels to hold sadistic bacchanals, great festivals of cruel combat, torture and worse... held in an arena over a great pit.” His command writes him off as paranoid, and Noyer resolves to enter the tunnels.
On 25 May, Noyer is recovered after screaming in the damp excavation sight until his vocal cords were annihilated – alive but utterly terrified.
June 1916 - Farber - Am I Out of Touch? No, It’s the Soldiers Who Are Wrong.
Noyer warns his brother-in-arms about the texts and truth of the ruins they are excavating. As the truth and panic spread, the Command begins punishing those who speak of the more sinister presence that is permeating the halls of the bunker.
Throughout the month of May, the soldiers are gripped with a waking terror that seeps into their dreams, all the while having to fight a war notorious for its brutality. Noyer writes, “we’re stuck between the Germans in front of us, high command behind us, and some other horrible force that seems to lurk in shadows all around us. I fear we are now truly beyond God’s reach.”
Rumors of the truth that Noyer uncovered begin to spread amongst the men. Despite taking the assertions of the malevolent presence seriously, the command chooses to contain the panic through force.
Incensed by Noyer’s ominous warnings, a rebellion is formed on 28 May with a soldier only known as “Farber” at its helm. The mission is simple: contain the evil of the tunnels by sabotaging the digging efforts with a cave in. Farber notes that each of the five recruits is exceptionally eager to end the waking nightmare, particularly Beaufoy.
Their efforts are successful and the soldiers experience a brief abatement from the ever-present fear, only to be discovered and subsequently tortured by their Commanding Officers, Reynard and Delpy. None are spared the persecution, save for Beaufoy, who is presumed to have been killed in the blast that undoes the dig. The last thing any other soldier saw of him was Beaufoy telling them he had “other work to do,” whilst pointing to his own eyes.
Despite the ordeal, no participant reveals Farber as the mastermind, and Farber is forever indebted to the brotherhood.
The officers of the unit do four things in the wake of this unthinkable act of insubordination: (1) abandon the tunnel, (2) punish the conspirators, (3) send the remaining men on dangerous combat patrols and (4) order more wine. No lesson learned, no warning heed.
Of minor note, on the evening of 30 June, after one such combat patrol, a German prisoner is captured. Small recompense for the men routinely thrown into the meat grinder of enemy machine guns and command tribunals.
July 1916 – Henri Clément – Buddy Fucker with a Conscious
Another such raid is ordered on 8 July, and Henri has a plan to not go. Henri and his best friend, Augustin Lambert, decide that the winner of a game of chance will not have to risk their life this evening and the other will go in their friend’s place. Henri cheats, rationalizing it as a harmless prank, condemning Lambert to endure the battlefield once more. Henri is sure Lambert will return, unscathed, and cannot wait to see the look on his face when he learns what Henri did.
Only, Lambert doesn’t return. As the dusk of 8 July turns into dawn, Henri is wrought with guilt. He resolves to recover his friend. It is here, that the player finally takes control of the protagonist.
Henri discovers Lambert at the bottom of a pit. Not a crater from artillery, a borderline incomprehensibly large depression. Henri makes his way down and renders aid to his battered, but alive, compatriot. Henri gathers water from the pit, and nurses his friend before they attempt to escape.

Patrol Report – 10 July 1916
Odd occurrences last night. Sdt. Lambert, thought dead after his patrol on the 8th, returned to the barracks in fine health. He carried with him Sdt. Clément – severely wounded from an explosion.
Lambert reports the following:
-That midway through his patrol on the 8th he fell into a deep crater and was unable to escape.
-Clément, his close friend, snuck out after him last night, located him in the crater, and carried him out.
-They were spotted and in the ensuing attack, Clément was injured by an explosion. It fell on Lambert to carry him back.
Very odd that Lambert was neither injured from the fall nor the explosion AND that he ended up saving the man who came to save him.
But battlefield luck is an odd thing. In every life, fate’s winds blow erratic.
Judging by Lambert’s description, the crater he fell into seems to have been located very close to the Roman tunnels we unearthed. It may have been a result of work down there.
Recommend a future patrol to investigate and make sure we have not opened a backdoor into our own bunker.

Henri remains comatose for ten(?) days.
July 1916 – Augustin Lambert – The Nightmare Is Only Beginning
Lambert, having dodged death, reflects on the events of his ill-fated patrol. His loss of hope at the bottom of the inescapable pit, and the angelic reprieve he received from Henri. He notes how the water Henri nursed him with “was cool and crisp, with a strange, sweet taste. Never has water felt more nourishing than that, administered by a dear friend’s hand.”
Despite surviving, Lambert’s survival is dampened by the loss of a toy he bought for his son – the toy he believes to be in the pit where he almost lost his life.
Lambert grows stronger by the day. However, with Lambert’s return, so do the haunts that plagued his fellow Soldiers. Scratching at the walls and an overt ghostly howling emanates throughout the halls at night.
July 1916 – Stéphane Joubert – Oh Yeah, The Murders.
The first to fall Reynard on 15 July. Hardly a loss after his treatment of the soldiers, but certainly a catalyst for even further distrust.
Stéphane Joubert, another officer, reflects on the evening of the murder in his journal. He had heard a commotion in the hallway, but assumed it be Reynard drunk on his secret stash of wine. No one was aware anything was wrong until they heard the screaming. He is concerned for the harshness in which his fellow officers treat the men, particularly in the wake of this death.
The remaining officers interrogate the men, after all, a murderer was so clearly amongst them.
Paranoia grips the men, who are the prime suspects due to their contempt for Reynard. But the brutality and sadistic nature of the murder was beyond the pale? The autopsy read:

Body of Sgt. Reynard.
Multiple lacerations. Chest cavity torn to shreds. Every rib cracked. Skull cracked open by repeated blunt force trauma.
Who could have done this to him?

Amid the violence, Farber, driven mad by the resurgence of the haunting presence, resolves to kill it himself to atone for being the only man left unpunished for the tunnel sabotage. When the evil presence, emboldened by the murder of Reynard, returns, Farber is there. He shoots the Beast and it retreats into the shadows.
But it did not forget. It returned ten minutes later and pulled Farber into the wall, “screaming… praying for salvation.”
The men note something familiar about the Beast as it continues to hunt them; like it knows who they are.
The officers abandon the men, escaping and blowing the entrance to the bunker behind them – condemning the soldiers to evisceration by an unkillable force. Joubert, the only bastion of morality amongst the officers, is among the escapees all the same He leaves the men one chance at salvation.

Fournier, our commanding officer!, cowers next to me now. He’s lost his mind to an abyss of fear…
He wants to run, to blow up the exit behind him.. Sealing the demon down here… The demon AND our men.
His constant refrain, it is getting to me… and that same void of terror… it is also overtaking me.
To any of my men who see this: once we’re free of this place, I will get the arsenal code from him. I will get it and I will radio it back to you.
Trapped down here with that beast, the arsenal may be your only hope. It’s all I can do. All I have courage to do…
Get to the communications room in the Soldier Quarters. Hide there. I’ll broadcast the code to you.

The men, responded to such hollow words:

The officers have abandoned us! They ran from the beast and blew the exit closed behind them. Even Joubert…
They called us cowards and traitors and worse… Hypocrites. Now they’ve doomed us.
Whatever hell we suffer now, it is on them. God will punish them for what they’ve done.

July 1916 – Henri Clément – The Game Begins
The game begins with Henri awakening in the hospital bed from comatose state. He doesn’t remember the past, but that’s why we have spent about 2400 words going over that. The gameplay of Amnesia is self-explanatory – gather resources, avoid the monster, escape.
In order to accomplish this goal Henri has several sub objectives that, for convenience, we’ll cover in two parts: Get the Dynamite and Get the Detonation Handle. This isn’t a walk through, every playthrough of the game is different, but you learn the fates of several characters through extrapolating on the relationship between the notes and the game itself. Play the game and get stalked by the monster for the horror experience.
Get the Dynamite (Located in the Armory):
· Located in the armory, Henri first needs to retrieve a code to unlock said armory. The code, you recall, Joubert promised to broadcast to the soldiers. After solving the daisy chain issue in the Soldier’s Quarters and finding the requisite key, Henri makes his way to the communication room. Joubert is true to his word, he is still broadcasting the code. Henri can now retrieve the dynamite.
Get the Detonator Handle (Located in the Tunnels):
· First order of business is to recover a ratchet wrench that allows access into the Prisoner Control room in the Prison section of the bunker. The wrench is in Foreman Stafford’s locker, but you’ll have to find the code. Henri discovers that Stafford made his way to the Bunker’s Pillbox as a means of escape. However, the Pillbox is locked with the only key being in the bunker’s Chapel. Henri makes his way to the chapel to uncover an unholy display of twisted bodies – an achievement pops up revealing this is the Beast’s nest. In the confessional, Henri discovers the priest (otherwise insignificant to the story) nailed to the wall. He recovers the key and returns to the Pillbox. At the top, Stafford is there, a bullet through the eye from an enemy sniper – a grim reminder that you’re still fighting a war.
· The wrench is to help gain access to the Captured German Prisoner’s cell, left abandoned; Geneva Convention be damned. What we want in the cell is a pair of bolt cutters that had been used to torture the prisoner. Opening his cell alerts the monster, whom promptly murders the poor prisoner (although there is a slightly happier disposition in which you retrieve the bolt cutters before the Beast gets to him – are you quick enough to save his life? Do you even want to?)
· The bolt cutters grant access to the chained-shut tunnels. The haunted tunnels. The Pagan Hell. Ghostly apparitions due exist down here skulking the fog teasing you with the evil you’ve read so much about. Impossible rock formations alongside Roman statues and columns, this place is truly unearthly. But then you hear a voice, the first voice you’ve heard since the prisoner you couldn’t understand died. “We whirl the world…” Its Beaufoy, whom has gouged his own eyes out and roams the fog with a shotgun and homicidal intent – still more work to do. He will kill you, so you must put your fellow soldier down. Is it better this way? At least that shotgun is yours now *finger guns*.
· If you explore a little more, after finding the detonator handle, you’ll find a small tunnel that leads to the pit. The pit the game began in, the pit with the small rabbit toy Lambert lost. Shit, what happened to Lambert?
You retreat to the beginning of the game. Hook up the dynamite and blow it. Make your way to escape. You find yourself at a grand arena above a bottomless pit. With the Beast standing between you and salvation. Is there really a boss battle in this game? Winning it reveals the final truth.
Lambert is the monster. Your best friend, corrupted by the water you nursed into him to save his life. Presenting the toy to him prior to the final battle when he tries to kill you causes him to take it, run to his fucked-up chapel nest, and place it on a pedestal. There is still humanity there, and that’s why he recognized those he killed.
But this is a grand arena over a great pit, and losers go into the pit. Use the toy to hold the monster up on the destructible bridges and, while he plays with it, blast the bridge itself – pulling the literal floor out from underneath him – eternal darkness awaits.
Now flee, make your way to salvation. You see sunlight. You breach the rocks and roll down a slope into a pit of dead comrades. At least you’re free of that beast.
As you bask in the light you hear “SCHNELL, SCHNELL” and searchlights beginning to scan where you just fell from.
Fuck, you’re still in a war.
A grotesquely unsettling story of overcoming shitty circumstances and still losing. What’s that like an 8? Probably an 8.

I was just thinking of my twin flame and my other flame who didnt reach out to me or want to be with me for years and I had an out of body experience. It could be from all the coffee I've been drinking but it just means they don't want to experience me and it leaves me lonely. I felt grateful for myself for keeping it together and keeping it down. If they don't reach out they don't deserve to be with me all this time. Its coming on to four and a half years I havent been with my original twin. I have another twin flame I haven't been with since I met him in 2020. He came to me when I was really sad about my ex and what happened and I was directionless. I didn't realise I fell in love with him. Now I realise but it still doesn't make sense. I guess the only thing I can do is keep moving forward. We are strong.

if she sees this, it'll be a very awkward situation, but here goes.
i met this girl, alexandra, in a college debate tournament at upenn in the middle of february. for reference, i go to harvard and she goes to princeton. she was very good at debate. i was not. thanks to an odd series of unexpected wins for me and my partner, we got matched up against each other.
we were trolling, and so my partner spouted some bullshit about how the judge should vote for us because we were immigrants, even if we debated worse (i'm indian; alexandra is italian-american, a la tony soprano). somehow, the judge bought it, and we won, even though we debated the actual topic worse. i emailed her afterwards to gloat, one thing led to another, and we ended up talking all night (we knocked her out of the tournament; we got knocked out ourselves two rounds later). she complained about the shitty judge and how much she hated people like us who "made a joke of debate". we sent 42 emails that night.
after the tournament ended, we kept talking on email (about debate). eventually, i asked her for her snap (she was also, may i add, gorgeous). we added each other. we continued our conversation from email, at first, but eventually the long paragraph-style responses turned into just normal talking and snapping. she wasn't a big part of my life at this point, though; just another girl who was cute and interesting to talk to. i learned some stuff about her -- she's crazy smart, but has pretty basic music taste, but she's solid at dancing; i also learned all about her family and that kinda shit. the normal 'getting to know you' phase.
i think the kicker came during spring break (march 9th, around half a month after the tournament). i went back home to india for the break. while i was jetlagged and up at 4am, i ended up talking to her every night. those conversations made me fall head-over-heels in love with her. i don't really know how it happened, it just kind of did; at some point, all the love songs suddenly became about her. i had dated girls before, but i don't think i've ever loved a girl until her.we talked about our futures, and what we wanted to do and be, and just 2am deep conversation type stuff; in other words, it was a much more intimate friendship than before. we had the red heart on snap and everything.
i will note, however, that, while talking to her was great, around this time it went from a 50-50 balance to me starting around 70-80% of conversations. that made me anxious; as i fell more in love, and the prospect of being with her became more tantalizing, i became more and more preoccupied with each conversation, playing it over and over again in my head. vacation also messed with my head; i had hours with nothing to do, and i filled them in no small measure with thoughts, dreams of her.
i also used to flirt with her a lot over break. she always took it in stride; sometimes she flirted back, sometimes not so much. she used to talk a good amount about her exes though, and also about how cute she thought she looked.
it's so hard to tell how much of this was reciprocated, because she was honestly a pretty closed person. she's not very communicative about her emotions, about what she really thinks; i often had to cut through a dense layer of sarcasm to get to her real meaning.
but, at some point, things came to a head. i asked her to call me once; she responded by saying, "coffee?". like an absolute moron, i replied "i'm not a coffee guy personally." i didn't even realize she was asking me out to coffee -- i thought
she was asking whether i liked coffee or not. she screenshotted that, which tipped me off; but by then, it was too late.
a couple days later, then, i asked her out on a date myself. she did not reply to me for a day and a half. then, she said, "sorry i was really busy with work!"
i reply, "lol np i thought i scared u off"
"LMFAO no. fw the blouse? "
what the fuck? (she never replied to the date thing by saying either yes or no).
after that, i lay low for a while. just casual flirting, nothing crazy. im still madly in love.
you know what, i'll skip all the details of the next two months.
basically, we grow closer as friends, but then some other guy asks her out on a date. she doesn't respond. he keeps texting her for a week; she declines in the end. but this dude triggers my own insecurity about her. my own clinginess comes back with a vengeance, and i basically start spamming her hoping she'd reply. eventually, things blow up on the day before her birthday; i keep chatting her, she doesn't reply. i became super frustrated and text her phone number (which she gave me).
she asks why i felt the need to text her even after she didn't reply. i'll admit i lied here -- i said i texted her for some work-related stuff, in order to save face. she called me on the bullshit. i doubled down and then asked her how she knew i was the one who texted her (i gave her my number at some point, but i didn't remember it then). in response, she said she "couldn't deal with this" and unadded me on snapchat. i then texted her saying, "I get if u don’t want to talk but i like being friends w u and i don’t want to lose that."
she blocks me. then, as a last resort, i send this email:

I have a Razer 15 Blade with a 3070 and i7-11800H. I bought it to have a ton of computing power on the go with gaming performance when plugged in. Unfortunately it is incredible slow when not plugged in and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it sped up for PDF's (We all know how shit Adobe is) and a ton of chrome tabs. What's your recommendation for a laptop that has a professional appearance (Razer Blade was fine), with some punch to play Elden Ring and MW2 (ik, game is horribly optimized), but will also run well on the go. I have an accompanying Mac M1 which runs great but government websites are atrocious and sometimes only run on Windows. I was looking at the Dell XPS but I leave it in the hands of experts who know what they're talking about. My budget is $4000

Im trying to predict what's gonna happen with everyone at Castle Black in TWOW. I have ideas, but one problem keeps coming up; we dont know how the brothers of the Night's Watch will respond to Jons murder.
I believe Jons murder will cause a lot of division in Castle Black; between the NW vs the Wildlings, the NW vs Mel & Selyse... but it will also cause division WITHIN the NW. Some seem to support Jon, others appear not to. For the majority of the NW, theres no indication one way or another. But I wanna know who's on which side, so heres what I've come up with so far:

- Edd Tollett - No explanation needed. But Edd has been sent to Long Barrow along with Iron Emmett, so he isn't at Castle Black either.
- Hareth (Horse) - Horse is guarding Jon after the Shieldhall speech, right as the assassination is about to take place. If Jon trusts him enough to guard his life, this probably indicates Horse will stay loyal to Jon:

- Rory - The same goes for Rory, he was with Horse guarding Jon as the assassination took place. I wouldn't be surprised if we learn in TWOW that Horse or Rory were killed in the assassination attempt. But if they survive they'll probably be Team Jon

- Satin - Seems to be close with Jon. Is picked by Jon to go on missions. Jon defends Satins positions as his personal steward and squire after Edd. Satin is the only one of Jon's friends who doesn't get sent away to the Shadow Tower. Satin also adopts the old gods, indicating his closeness with Jon. Also it's clear the anti-Jon faction hates Satin. Satin probably has the most evidence of anyone to show he'll support Jon. Satin's whereabouts at the time of the assassination are not known

- Iron Emmett - He is picked to be the master-at-arms for Castle Black. He spars with Jon. He is selected for the mission to the weirwood in ADWD. There isnt solid proof he would support Jon, but he seems to be a prime candidate as an ally. He was sent to Long Barrow with Edd Tollett, so he isnt at Castle Black
- Leathers - Leathers almost certainly supports Jon. Leathers is a Wildling who became a brother of the NW. Jon makes him the master-at-arms after Emmett. The anti-Jon faction does not approve of Leathers appointment

- Arron & Emrick - Two brothers from Fair Isle who are recruited by Jon. They both swear their oaths before the Weirwoods, even though they were born following the Faith of the Seven. There is little information about them, but what little we have seems to suggest they may be pro-Jon
- Pyp, Grenn & Toad - These guys are Jon's friends who he sends away to the Shadow Tower. They are certainly pro-Jon, but they aren't nearby enough to matter

He likely blames Jon for the death of Garth. He is one NW brother I feel certain hates Jon

- Mully & Fulk, the Flea - Right before the Shieldhall meeting, Jon is told by Mully and Flea that Ghost is acting aggressively. This is obviously a warning that Jon is surrounded by enemies who will try to kill him. But it could additionally indicate that Mully and Fulk the Flea are specifically Jon's enemies. This is the only potential hint I could find that might suggest Mully & Fulk are on either side
"That'd be sweet, m'lord," said Fulk the Flea, "but your wolf's in no mood for company today." Mully agreed. "He tried to take a bite o' me, he did." "Ghost?" Jon was shocked.
- Spare Boot, Kegs, Halder, & Albett - These men are part of part of Othells builders. The builders are seen with Othell and Bowen Marsh in the Shieldhall
- Ser Alliser Thorne - Alliser hates Jon, but he isn't at Castle Black right now. Although I predict Ser Alliser will return and maybe even be elected new Lord Commander in the beginning of TWOW, some theorize he may even seek justice against Jon's conspirators
CONCLUSION
Please tell me what you think of my list! I'd like to hear arguments about why should anyone be added or removed from either list?

Personally I don't think Mikasa married Jean or someone else after Eren's death. For those who say or think that she married Jean, let me clarify this: throughout the series it is true that Jean has always had a crush on her and this since their first meeting, to the point of fantasizing about a life with her in a rich and lively neighborhood. Mikasa on the other hand has never given Jean a single romantic look because the only man in her mind is Eren. This attention she paid to Eren is one of the reasons for Jean's animosity and jealousy towards the latter. Throughout the series, Mikasa has always displayed a calm, stoic and somewhat introverted personality and she has never been interested in any man in the series. The only man in front of whom she displayed a different personality is and always has been Eren. As for Jean, Connie, Armin, she sees them as her friends, her comrades, her companions. I have marked in the photos below with blue arrows the clues on which I rely to demonstrate that Mikasa did not marry after Eren's death. I will go deeper with detailed explanations:
1) The red scarf : Throughout the series, we saw Mikasa wear and keep the scarf that Eren gave her after saving her from the traffickers who had killed her parents, specifically after she let him know she was cold. As you know, this scarf originally belonged to Eren. After saving her, Eren welcomed her into her family. It was this selfless action that laid the foundation for Mikasa's deep love for him, so much so that at the time of his death, when Eren, in the chapter "A long dream", asked her to forget about him and get rid of the scarf, she categorically refused. In the official book, Marina Inoue (Armin's VA) stated that the scarf is Eren and Mikasa's "Engagement Ring". Isayama declared that this scarf is the red thread of fate. The red thread of fate means that 2 people are made for each other, and Mikasa continued to wear this scarf when she died. As you surely know, the red thread of fate binds the souls of two people who love each other deeply and passionately. No matter how stretched, tangled or frayed, it can never be broken.This scarf, I marked it on the 2 pages.
2) Roses: In most cultures there is what is called the symbolism of flowers. As you know, during the years after Eren's death, Mikasa never stopped thinking about him and constantly visited him at his grave so that he wouldn't feel lonely. She always placed roses on his grave to let him know that her feelings for him and her desire to be with him did not change, as the end of the manga and the extra pages show. Although the official manga is not in color, there is no doubt in my mind that these roses are red roses. If you wonder why the red color, then read carefully the explanations below 👇👇👇👇.
The color red is a symbol of love, beauty and passion par excellence in the language of flowers as in the common language. Red roses will be perfect for a declaration of love. They will send a message of true love to the loved one. Of all roses, the red rose is considered the queen of flowers. I'm going to dwell on the number of roses Mikasa left on Eren's grave and their meanings.
✔️At the end of the manga and on the 1st additional page, Mikasa put 4 roses on Eren's grave. 4 roses: this is a message of confidence in the future since four roses mean that nothing will come between you and your lover. It shows your commitment and the strength of your feelings towards the person you love.
✔️In her old age, more precisely when her life is coming to an end, Mikasa is seen on the following additional page laying a rose on Eren's grave. 1 rose: giving a single rose is telling the other person that you have fallen in love with them at first sight. One rose is a strong symbol of the uniqueness of the person you love.
Mikasa's message to Eren is clear: "She fell in love with him at first sight, when he rescued her from human traffickers and welcomed her into his family without knowing anything about her, and that love has remained intact and is still strong, even after his death. She can never love another man the way she loves Eren, Eren is unique in her eyes."
Given these elements of analysis, I don't understand how there can be people who still believe that she married Jean. As for the significance of the number of roses, I have done some research on this and it is very reliable. But even so, I know that those who support the JeanKasa ship will find ways to contradict me.
3) The inscription engraved on the tombstone: Mikasa did not put Eren's name on the tombstone. Instead, she said on the stone what Eren was to her all this time. Here is the inscription according to some fans of the couple who did research: ''Here forever, rest in peace my beloved, my dear''. Mikasa finally gave here the answer to Eren's question in chapter 123: "What am I to you?". Eren was her beloved, her dear. However, I heard that it's a mistranslation. The actual message is even sadder and deeper. "Here lies my dearly beloved, the love of my life, forever drifting off to sleep." Also, the characters she uses to refer to Eren as typically used to address one's spouse, so she's talking about Eren as a wife would speak about her husband. According to this logic, this means that the kiss, in addition to expressing her love for Eren and sealing her promise to see him again in another life, was also Mikasa's way of sealing their union. In conclusion, Mikasa became a widow on her wedding day.
4) The deathbed dotted with lilies: Once again, I will mention the symbolism of flowers. The lily in common traditions symbolizes purity and virginity. The fact that Mikasa's deathbed was dotted with these flowers means that she remained a virgin until her death. So she didn't have a child. The man who appears with her on the 1st page cannot be her husband, nor is the child hers.
5)The Azumabito emblem on her right wrist: According to the tradition of the Azumabito that his mother instilled in her when she engraved the seal, Mikasa had to pass on the same seal in turn to her children(precisely on their right wrist) and erase hers to make it clear that she had transmitted it. But on the 2nd page, we still see her with this bandage during her old age, which means that she has not passed it on to any child. In other words, Mikasa did not have a child, nor did she adopt one. If she had adopted a child, she would have passed on her seal to him, even if the child is not of her blood. For those who want to contradict me, I will get ahead of them by raising a fact: the scenes where Mikasa's mother appeared in the series, whether it was the anime, the manga or the OVA, she no longer had the seal of the Azumabito on her right wrist. It means that she had passed it on to her daughter.
There are clues outside the pages that support my thinking:
A) Mikasa's refusal to forget Eren after his death: As you know, Mikasa's dream in chapter 138 represents the alternate reality that shows how things would have gone between her and Eren if she had confessed her love to him. In this reality shows that Eren gave Mikasa back the feelings she has for him and gave up everything to run away with her in order to make her happy for the remaining 4 years of his life. In this reality, Eren asked Mikasa to forget him completely when he died. In the 2 realities, Mikasa refused to conform to Eren's last wish and wrapped her scarf around her neck. Through this action, she let Eren know that she would eternally cherish all the memories she has of him, especially this red scarf he gave her to protect her from the cold and which is the symbol of their love.
B) The fact that she said "See you later Eren" instead of "Goodbye Eren'' and the kiss she gave him after beheading him: Usually when a person we care about dies, we tend to say "Goodbye". The fact that Mikasa said "See you later Eren" shows that she doesn't see her encounter with Eren in the titan's mouth as the last. She remains hopeful of seeing him again in another life. The kiss she gave him was not only a kiss of love, but also a kiss to seal her promise to find him in another life so that she would never be separated from him again.
Anyway, Isayama did not make an official statement regarding Mikasa's life after Eren's death. Everything written above is just my own interpretation. The only thing we know, from the end of the manga and the extra pages, is that she left the army to live a normal life. What is certain for me is that Mikasa by her fertile beauty and beautiful exotic traits aroused the desires of many men after Eren's death, but none of them managed to ignite her passion and heart as Eren did.
Note:
✔️Throughout the series, Mikasa has always wanted to be alongside Eren and she even clearly let Armin know. That's why she joined the army, it's also why she joined the survey corps. If Eren had chosen the military police, she would have joined the military police as well. If Eren had chosen the garrison, she would have joined the garrison as well. Even though Isayama did not show Mikasa's grave on the additional pages, I can safely say that she buried alongside Eren at the time of her death.
✔️Mikasa's character theme song, ''No Matter Where You Are'', is sung from Mikasa to Eren. In the song, she begs Eren to not go, not to leave her alone in the cold, and that he is her home to return to, no matter where he is. It is sung by Yui Ishikawa, Mikasa's voice actress.
✔️Isayama mentioned in the Final Attack on Titan Guidebook that Mikasa was going to originally kiss Eren back in Chapter 50 but he felt too shy drawing the scene.
✔️On page 45 of the official final guidebook, there are sketches representing the original appearance Isayama wanted Mikasa and Armin to have at the end of the manga. If we look closely, we notice that Armin here has the same hairstyle as the person next to Mikasa in front of Eren's grave on the additional pages. This is enough to convince me that it is Armin who stands next to Mikasa on the 2 additional pages of my publication. In fact, the tree at the foot of which Eren was buried is the same one the three of them used to play at as children. These sketches were drawn by Isayama himself and are the 3rd image above.
✔️Isayama has stated that separating Eren and Mikasa permanently won't be satisfying for him.

First trip on my own
Hey I love reading your tripping stories so thought I would share mine... I have had mushrooms about 4 times before, this was my first time on my own.
I done 1.7g, just soaked them in some hot water and drank it when it had cooled and ate them.
Getting myself all settled in, started coming up in about 15 mins got a gust of wind. Didn't expect it to be this quick!
Peripheral vision was going crazy. You tube was playing some talk with these two guys about I don't know 😅 Every thing was warped the colours were strong, and so bright in peripherals. I still had to get comfy!
When I looked at things it collapsed and went into another dimension. I would hear random words from these guys, asking questions about the universe 😂 physically I felt I had to push something out with my breath.
At times it all got too tense, so I would wrap myself in my duvet.
If I had a thought it collapsed like Lego in to the unknown. I had thoughts of ringing my ex, but then I told myself I don't need to. Tbh I couldn't do anything! I couldn't even pick my phone up let alone use it!
At times I was scared I would get stuck. Other times I appreciated what I was seeing, I couldn't do anything or think. This went on for a few hours, I must have fell asleep and woke the next morning...
I was not expecting it to be that intense or quick. I still feel quite numb after it, it has been about 2 weeks. It's been a tough few months, my brother died unexpectedly, my relationship has ended, and general stresses of life. I needed a reset, I got one 🍄😅
Next time I will be prepared before I drink them! And maybe try a smaller dose, I felt it was intense, perhaps because I was on my own. But I knew I was in a safe place, in home on my own, I don't know 😅...

Marika was for the erdtree and the Golden order her entire life, but the common theory is at some point it became too much for her and she desired to destroy it all. She created Radagon as a mimic of sorts for the Liurnia front, or she disguised herself as radagon.
What if it's a combination of both? here's my crazy idea:
Marika felt the burden of being a God and wanted to have a free life. but she did NOT want to destroy all she built over the ages. She used a mimic, with her knowledge of mimicry and numen/nox origin and ties. And she let the mimic rule. Mimic Marika would take the burden while Marika herself did what so many rulers wanting freedom did in other stories. She disguised herself as a common person, free of royalty and queenship duties. She rebirthed herself as Radagon.
Radagon went on to fight s a common champion, then he fell in love with Rennala. He found happiness and love. however, Radagon did not expect the mimic left as Marika to have her own will, differing from the original plan. The mimic began acting out, perhaps wanting to escape as well. She exiled Godfrey, maybe she even planned to kill Godwyn, and shattered the ring. Radagon (original Marika) had to run back, to fix this disaster. So he left Rennala and attempted to merge back with the mimic.
I know it's not a perfect theory but i've never seen anyone consider this before and it just came to my mind. it would explain a lot. Why Radagon mended the ring, original Marika never changed her mind! She always was for the Golden Order ruling! The mimic tried to break it to escape her fate as God the same as the original. Or perhaps out of spite and for it's own goals. And Radagon blocks the Tarnished cause its the mimic's plan, Marika never wanted the Tarnished to even exist. Maybe Gideon saw the truth and that's why he had a sudden 180 change of mind.

This game, like all souls games, needs to add a respawn point in front of boss rooms like elden Ring. Running back to the boss room is not fun and doesn't add anything to the gameplay. Other than this I really enjoyed the demo.
Edit: I'm surprised people actually want to do the pointless walk of shame after dying instead of getting back into the action right away. You do you.

I really liked season 1. Season 1 had it's charm and all the story arcs were interesting from Tanjiro's training to meeting Hashira's and the comedy in the episodes was on top.
Season 2 not so really. I swear the only 2 thing I liked in S2 were the mugen train movie which was sliced into anime episodes, Inosuke (bro carried season 2 so hard he couldn't be in season 3 because his back got hurt) , and their mission in the town but that fell of quickly. Personally the wind hashira was extremly annoying and boring.
And the entire fight between 6th upper moon was uninteresting. The animation was good but that's about it. The entire fight was like this : demon too strong, tanjiro got his but kicked, Tanjiro breaks his limits, demon almost dies, demon sudenly becomes more powerfull, nezuko comes only how plot demands it. THAT FIGHT DIDN'T NEED TO BE 8 EPISODES LONG. And the tragic backstory? It was good but at this point it's annoying how all demons have tragic backstory now. Please just give us evil demon that's just evil.
And the worst part is that I'm afraid season 3 is going the same way as before: training, they meet hashira, a battle starts, tanjiro breaks his limits, demon is Now more powerfull (repeat that 3 times atleats), thank god Muichiro saved us from another tragic demon backstory

Tldr; my boyfriend has been acting up causing me to have resentment towards him, he's changing for me but very slowly, I don't know if I should keep giving everything I have for someone that currently isn't doing the same for me
So me (19m) and my boyfriend (19) have been dating for close to four months now. It started very quickly and I fell for him quite hard, whether it was love or lust I do not know. But I was happy either way. To see him when I could, text him, call him etc. But the more time I spend with him the more he just rubs me the wrong way, his whiny attitude, lots of complaining, and just general miserable attitude really grates away at my smily, very happy, energetic mood. And it's like I keep running into roadblocks with him. I used to have to beg for attention (I still do sometimes) he said he would try to do better. And well he did! For a week, and then it went back to just a couple messages a day, usually I would have to initiate. I have talked calmly with him about a lot of problems I've been having with him, and his latest answer is. I'm sorry but that's just how life is. He acts legitimately like a brat a lot of the time. And it feels very one sided even though he says very sweet things to me. I always have to drive to him (about 35 minutes), we always do what he wants to do (when he doesn't say idk (God, I've come to hate hearing those words, it's triggering)) and he will say for me to choose something like food, place to hangout, things to do. But then will complain about my choice and always really has something in mind and will throw a fit about if I don't decide to do that. He expects me to pay for everything, except this time when he payed for me but then said he can't really do that anymore. And I can understand financial struggle, but he is fully supported by parents/grandparents and told me the only thing he has to pay for is college (about $2k) gas, and food. Like... He doesn't have bills like I do, he doesn't have the costs to go see him like I do. And I try very hard not to hold this against him because when you can't afford something, there's not much you can do. HE HAS A JOB, granted he works part time but otherwise he does nothing else. He doesn't spend time with friends, he isn't coming to see me (he says he can't because it's not his car, it's not and I understand (kind of)) and when I do come and see him it's basically "where do you want to go" then we decide, go there (he likes to choose the crazy out of my way places to eat. Places that are 30+ minutes away, and doesn't want to pay for gas to go there, but that drive just eats away at the small amount of time we have together) and then I take him back to his car for him to drive home. He doesn't do pda at all, he is not comfortable with it, and I can't not do pda. I want to show him and myself off, I love being me and spending time with him and showing that I'm happy. But he is petrified of the public gaze, afraid of hate crime, being SPOKEN to. It's sooo..... Frustrating. He's totally fine in private but when it comes to being in public, even when nobody is around. He just locks up and smacks my hand away from his. He just doesn't know how to act in general, like he wasn't taught well or something. He isn't telling his family about me. He's told me it is because he's not ready yet, but I think of it was up to him he would go until we got married to tell anyone. And don't get me wrong he has a lot of amazing things going for him and about him, I'm just not listing them here. As I'm looking for help with the issues. He has slowly started to get better but it's just going to be such a long journey at this pace I'm afraid I might decide I can't love him by the time he is done. And that would be the cruelest thing I could think someone to do. Ask for change and when change has occured, to leave. I really did/do love him and I want things to get better. But... I just don't know what to do. It's almost hurting me to deal with his... Whole person. I've talked to him, talked with friends, family. They all say (with exception of him) to leave him. But I cannot do that. I have told him everything but this, and I'm afraid if I do, he might not recover from hearing this. And in the future he might always think I don't love him or something like that. I'm unsure. I can answer any questions and am hopeful of advice on my situation (I'd prefer to keep him) How do I keep him and still save myself the mental anguish of dealing with the change?
