Sorry for the long post but I've included the breakdown of costs and timelines in hopes of better making my case.
My dad broke my car over a year ago and won't fix it. He's perfectly content, it seems, paying for me to stay here and never leave. I keep asking about it but he basically won't fix it. I get only enough money to feed myself, my cat, and buy soap for the bath.
I need to get my car street legal and reliable. It's going to be a 30 - 40 mile drive to ANY factory so I need to know it won't die on me. After that, I hope to get a job at the Honda plant or at Whirlpool in Marion. I am also hoping to try out American Showa in Delaware. They hire at 17 an hour for floor workers. There's no reason I shouldn't get hired as I have a clean history and don't do drugs. If they'll hire felons, well, I'm at least that good. :)
I need about 430 USD. The breakdown of that amount is as followed and is intended to be enough to get my car street legal again. I've used the cheapest parts on AutoZone for my car.
34.50 - Registration (Annual state thing in ohio)
10.00 - Late registration (Last registered the plates in 2013)
118.00 - Alternator
19.99 - Belt
35.00 - Reconditioned Battery (Local Junkyard reconditions them and they are pretty cheap)
65.99 - Muffler (There is an irreparable hole in it that will get me pulled over)
24.00 - Coolant (This seems the odd one out, but my dad poured motor oil into my radiator. I bought new hoses and can flush it with water. I MAY be able to do this repair myself but even 24 dollars is beyond me to refill it and make sure there's no leaks or errors in my work)
+ 40% this amount for labor on the car. I know a local handyman that I believe will do it for that. If there is extra it'll go towards gas.
I think I can promise repayment of 500 dollars in three months. One month to fix my car, one month to get hired somewhere (The factories are through employment agencies so the process may be slow), and then three weeks for my first check to come in. (Since if you get hired between checks you can end up in an awkward place of not receiving payment for the first three weeks- and the first week will be training- I don't know if that is paid or not.)
I can provide my phone number (for texting) and my relay number (If you want to call, I am hard of hearing and cannot hear on a phone.) Or most other forms of ID.

Hi All,
I'm currently working as a lead DS in a reputed IT services company. I joined here 6 years back as an associate DS and have now moved 2 roles up to a lead DS. My current primary concerns with my job are -

1. Not enough compensation.
2. Really long work hours 10-11 hrs daily on an average.

Even though I feel that the compensation is not enough, it is one of highest paying companies in IT services in my country. My conundrum is that I want to shift to a more manegerial role than a hands one. I'm currently on the lower end of Middle management. I know if I stick out here for 24 more months I can easily get promoted into the next level of middle management but the pay hike associated with it will be minimal and the hours supposedly will not decrease as my bosses work average 12-14 hrs daily.
Will moving to another company in search for vertical movement be too difficult? Or should I move now into the same role and a dcenet comp. hike into another company (given the dried up job market in my locale become better)? Or should I stay put get another promotion and then start a hopping journey into higher middle management roles?
P.S. I have no issues with my work though, I get all sorts of experience in multiple domains and streams of DS. Currently working on vaibility and scalability of LLMs for real life processes. Though the long hours and conplex issues are killing me.

I use Fred Meyer's website for composing my list. When I checkout it links to Instacart for processing. An Instacart shopper does the shopping and delivery. If all goes well, I usually click the Fred Meyer email link to give a "rating". Yesterday, when I clicked that link and when I put the link in manually, I only got a blue spinning circle that did not seem to time out. I was not able to either increase the tip or give the rating. I tried several times during the allowed 24 hour time to expiration of the link and got the same result. Has something changed in the past two weeks that might have blocked my ability to use the link? In the same email there was a link to the receipt. That one link worked.

Hi All,
So this one is maybe a little strange because (as you see above), I already have a diagnosis. I'm just trying to figure out if there's anything else I can do to help my boy, because he really doesn't seem to be improving and I don't want to keep bothering the vet just to be sent home with a different pain/anti-nausea med combo.
(Not so) bief history: He had a drop in appetite/energy about a month ago, but would still eat some wet food. On 5/15 he threw up red bile, so I took him to the emergency vet. They did sub-q fluids, blood work, x-rays, and ultrasound and told me he was fine, just sick from not eating. Sent home antacid, nausea meds, and appetite stimulant.
I followed up with our usual vet on 5/23 because he wasn't improving and they did more blood work and diagnosed pancreatitis. Started him on Hill's i/D low fat food, Galliprant, and anti-nausea meds on 5/25, once lab work was back. He still wasn't eating much (maybe 1/3c of food nibbled on throughout the day) and didn't seem to be getting better.
I hadn't gotten a response to my follow-up email after 3 days(totally understand, vets are busy), so yesterday I took him to urgent care after he tried to eat and then immediately threw up 5 times. They gave more sub-q fluids, including an anti-nausea injection. Sent us home with more intense pain meds (buprenorphine) and different anti-nausea meds. I added some chicken to his food bowl after he let it sit untouched all morning, and he did start to nibble but he's still vomiting. Literally vomiting while eating. He's also very lethargic, his back leg is shaking, and he keeps whining, but I think that's all side effects of the pain meds?
Anyway, VERY long story short: what else can I do to help him get better and when do I panic and take him back in? I don't want to tie up very busy vets with non-emergent issues, but he's just so small and I'm worried about waiting too long, especially since he's still throwing up even less than 24 hours after an anti-nausea injection.

Hello everyone, I just failed my first OSCP EXAM attempt and just wanted to share the experience with you and point out my mistakes so you can learn from them (and me too lol :))
Before OSCP I Completed all offsec lab machines and done about 20 HTB boxes (ippsec OSCP/AD playlist, completed about 20 boxes from PG grounds TJ_NULL list and also completed OSCP THM path and the buffer overflow room + some other boxes on tryhackme.
I scheduled my exam on Friday at 2 PM (now I know it was a mistake :) ) and I managed to PWN 2 standalone boxes (I guess that would be around 40 points). It took me 18 hours (it's crazy there was so many rabbits holes I wasted my time on as the machines were pretty tight and it was just a small thing I missed at the beginning that made me waste hours) Anyway I took some small breaks about 6pm and 8pm to eat and shower, then it went a bit easier with clear mind so I finished both machines about 8 am (I didn't sleep, I thought I can just crack OSCP in 24hours as I used to work night shifts in the past and spending long hours in front of the monitor is something I really got used to). However about 9 am unfortunately my body and mind got really tired, and I lost motivation to continue on the AD set I was just really feeling like going to sleep and doing a second attempt soon ( I guess it happened because I took my first OSCP attempt as a "training round" subconsciously and I was kinda prepared to fail it after reading a lot of articles where people were saying that It takes a lot of practice and attempts to pass that exam, however after I pwned 2 standalone boxes I was feeling like I would have passed it if I planned the day better, especially because I spent last 2 weeks doing a lot of AD boxes and felt really comfortable about i.
The mistakes that I've done are: - I haven't prepared any healthy food for the day (ordered delivery at about 6 pm and only had some snacks later, during the night I was really hungry as I didn't prepare any food and it made me really deconcentrated

• Didn't sleep enough the night before the exam (only about 6 hours, next time I'm gonna have good sleep for about 8-10 hours before the exam day) and schedule the exam for 9-10 am ( I know I would be able to do 9 to 9 or 10 to 10 OSCP 24 hours run :) )
  
• Didn't acknowledge mentally that I'm ready to pass the exam, but took it as a training session - which in fact still can benefit me as I made a lot of notes which could be useful. I also learned what areas I should improve before starting again.
  

So basically I'm going for a week's holiday with my gf to Spain now and I'm planning to try OSCP after I come back so my body will be well-rested and I will be mentally prepared for the next round.
MY QUESTIONS:
I wanted to ask you what the best way to improve privilege escalation on Linux (I feel like I was struggling on this, I got reverse shell in 1 hour however PE made me stuck for another 10 hours + I went through LinPEAS/suggesters all lines output and everything selectively however I still couldn't see what should I do ( I had no write permission to any file, no sudo access and also wasted a lot of time trying exploits and compiling them on different VMs (GCC WASNT INSTALLED ON TARGET) only to realise that I missed little small thing at the beginning. Also, what do you do when there is no GCC on the victim machine? Does this usually mean that kernel exploits are not the way and it's a rabbit hole? Let me know your opinion. Name the best boxes on PG/HTB if you got recommendations, please.
How do you improve your SQL injection skills? I feel like I faced a lot of static HTML pages, and weird pages without .php or any other backend extensions, but they happened to have web forms that probably could have been exploited somehow but I couldn't find any attack vectors on them, and in the end, made me confused if they were just rabbit holes.
Do you recommend any short-paid courses to improve burp/web penetration testing?
Is there any good app to make a map of your whole operation? ( I use mainly CherryTree for taking notes it's brilliant but sometimes I would like to put the notes/screenshots from CherryTree on a wide map - type of board space.

What Do You Need To Have To Get A Marriage License?
There are certain things you need to apply for a marriage license. But before that, let us set some facts straight. If you’re considering getting married somewhere, you should know this. You may not be easily granted a marriage if you’re underage. There can’t be a marriage if you are not legally divorced.
If it’s a place where same-sex marriage isn’t allowed, you won’t get a license. Lastly, you won’t be easily granted a permit in most places, if you’re related by blood.
The best place to do that is the location where you’re getting married. For instance, a marriage license in NYC is best obtained from the county clerk’s office. Other places are the town hall or City Hall. You can also call the local government office or browse the website for information.
Many states have the option of filling out their application online. They can go pick it in person after they submit their documentation.
The things you need include:

1. Photo ID: A driver’s license or passport will do.
2. Proof of residency or citizenship of the country.
3. Birth certificate to find out that you are eligible for marriage age.
4. Death certificate if widowed.
5. Divorce decree if divorced.
6. The court or parental consent in some countries, if underage.

Steps Of Procuring A Marriage License
You cannot get married until 24 hours after the license gets issued. You can only upturn this if you get a waiver from the court. Again, a wedding license lasts for only 60 days, which begins to count, a day after it’s approved. For the military, they have up to 180 days, due to deployments.
You can only marry in the state where you have rightly issued a license. The waiting time before you get a license is 1-6 days. A non-impediment certificate is well required for a destination wedding. This is proof that you have no legal issues in your country. It is valid for 6 months.
Now, the steps:
Go to the town clerk’s office to fill out an application. You and your spouse must be present with the following documents.

• Name.
• Resident address
• State, city, and zip code.
• Country of birth and birth certificate
• Name and country of parents
• Social security number.
• Presentation of Gonorrhea, HIV, and other STI-free certificates. This is against blood tests initially asked for in the United States. You can also fill it online but you will complete the process at the office. This is after presenting your documents.

Pay the marriage application fee of $35. This is how much it costs to get a license in NY. In other places, it goes up to $115. The city clerk only receives either a money order or a credit card.
Receive a marriage license when the application is complete.
Apply for a judicial waiver. This is optional.
Turn it in and register after the wedding.

We are so short staffed on my shift with a total of 6 people ( who all aren't on time or dependable) unfortunately it's a busy store with constant rushes that get you tired af. Many nights I'm working there's only 3-5 people on the shift. But yet I'm scheduled 6 days a week with no hours?? Where in the fuck is this supposed labor going since it's " too high"? Chapter 1: the passing
It was around 4 a.m. I've been awake for a bit over 24 hours, in total depression. I had just lost one of my best friends in a car accident, and I was to blame. My friend and I were drifting in the desert during the night, until suddenly a camel came in my way, and I crashed into it. I woke up around 24 hours ago with a mild concussion, many bruises all over my body, and a few broken bones. However, my friend wasn't so lucky. When the camel shattered my windshield, a big chunk of glass went through his chest, resulting in near instant death. I was in a coma for almost a week after the crash, and when I awoke, my hospital room was completely empty, with not even a single flower in sight.I attempted to get up, but was physically unable to do so. The room was the most dull and traumatizing place a person could be in. The way that the room felt so artificial, from the recliner they put in front of me to the taste of the water, felt unreal. There weren't any windows either, so I had to just stay in the artificial light that barely lit up the room. The bed itself felt too hard in some places and too soft in others.So it was just a room full of discomfort. I just laid there on my bed for a few minutes until a doctor came into the room and started to greet me. He started taking tests, checking my pulse, and doing all the doctorly things a doctor would do. However, the time for him to tell me the bad news had come. The doctor had said I had stopped breathing, and I could feel my throat start to close up. Tears started to blur my vision. The tears stopped coming, and my vision was being blurred by something other than the tears that had been pouring out of my eye sockets, to the point where you could hear the tears start dripping on the floor. Why would you be doing something so dangerous like that and risking his life!” I had lost my voice. It was as if I was in a dream, where I couldn’t speak or move. I was just able to stare. Stare at the person who was shouting and crying. Stare at the person who had lost a beloved one. Stare at the person who fell onto the floor crying. Stare at the result of my actions. And stare at the result of my mistake. I started to gain my vision back, and I could see one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. Even though this wasn’t the time or the place, I couldn’t help but stare in awe. As soon as I saw her face I regained the feelings in my leg, regained my sight, and i regained my voice. The I only thing I could utter was- “I’m sorry” “I wish you could have died instead!” She said before running out of the room I didn’t know what to tell her. I had done a horrible act. I was the reason that Adam had died, and the reason for her depression and her current state. I didn’t deserve to talk, I didn’t deserve to think, I didn’t even deserve to live. Ever since I got the news of Adam’s death, I wished I could’ve died instead of him, and obviously every one I knew agreed with me since no one had came to visit me in the six days that I was at the hospital.

I meant to post this awhile ago and kind of forgot until now. I had been having random stomach cramping that I assumed was from constipation because that is was a normal side effect for me. It was on the left side of my bellybutton and I felt a little nauseous but I chalked it up to needing to poop or just having some gnarly gas pain.
The pain got worse over the next 24 hours and was kind of just my whole lower abdomen, and the nausea never fully went away. It was a weekend, I couldn’t get ahold of my doctor and went to the ER to just get checked out and make sure I didn’t have a blockage or anything. (It was late at night and no open urgent cares available in my area.)
It was my appendix. I had caught it early enough that it didn’t burst but I still needed to get it removed. I never had a fever, just nausea and belly pain.
I’m not saying that the appendicitis was caused by the wegovy and I’m not trying to fear monger. I just want to spread the word that hey, if you feel different than you normally do or you have new symptoms, please just check in with youa doctor to make sure everything’s alright!

Got one order this morning to IHOP, was assigned 2 for pick up , well I sat for 15 minutes, payed by the hour, the first order was ready for pick up, so I marked it as so and went back to my car with the food . 45 minutes later I’m still waiting on the 2nd order , now, please note that in this time, I’ve walked in that building four more times to check on that second order, which was just an omelette By the way, contacted Support three times and was told to unassigned myself and not get paid and my acceptance rate go down or wait for the order so all three times I decide to wait for the order then the customer of the first order contact me pissed off about her food getting cold and I should’ve just left and brought her stuff to her and then went back to get the second order. I didn’t bother explaining it to her, just wasnt worth it to me but I did tell her to contact customer support. I did tell her that I did try to leave but I was told not to ,keep it simple I say ,well she canceled the order and then the second order was canceled by the store, so not only did I make $45 to sit for an hour in the parking lot IHOP I had some breakfast to.BOOM BITCH ASS CUSTOMERS lol I feel redeemed from all the shitty money that I have made in the last two weeks!!!
