Case
WALLACE v. COMMONWEALTH (2023) FindLaw
Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.
Nickoyan WALLACE v. COMMONWEALTH.
SJC-13401
Decided: May 25, 2023
The case was submitted on the papers filed, accompanied by a memorandum of law. Nickoyan Wallace, pro se.
Nickoyan Wallace 1 has been indicted for murder in the first degree for the shooting death of a person in Boston, and related offenses. In the Superior Court, he filed “by Special Appearance” a document entitled “Notice of Default and Opportunity to Cure re Affidavit -- ‘Writ of Quo Warranto’ re Proof of Claim/Jurisdiction.” In general, he claimed that the courts of the Commonwealth lack jurisdiction over him;2 in an affidavit filed in the case, Wallace declared that he is a “Free Sovereign and Private Great Seal Moor.” The Superior Court judge treated the filing as a motion to dismiss and denied it. Wallace then filed a petition in the county court, pursuant to G. L. c. 211, § 3, seeking review of the Superior Court judge's order.3 A single justice of this court denied the petition, and Wallace appeals. We affirm.
Wallace has filed a memorandum pursuant to S.J.C. Rule 2:21, as amended, 434 Mass. 1301 (2001),4 which applies where, as here, a “single justice denies relief from a challenged interlocutory ruling in the trial court.” S.J.C. Rule 2:21 (1). We therefore consider whether Wallace has demonstrated, as the rule requires, “why review of the trial court decision cannot adequately be obtained on appeal from any final adverse judgment in the trial court or by other available means.” S.J.C. Rule 2:21 (2). He failed to meet that burden.
We have said many times that “[t]he denial of a motion to dismiss in a criminal case is not appealable until after trial, and ․G. L. c. 211, § 3, may not be used to circumvent that rule.” Soucy v. Commonwealth, 470 Mass. 1025, 1025, 26 N.E.3d 194 (2015), quoting Jackson v. Commonwealth, 437 Mass. 1008, 1009, 770 N.E.2d 469 (2002). That principle is no less applicable where the claims asserted involve jurisdictional issues. Such questions are “routinely addressed on direct appeal after a final judgment.” Calzado v. Commonwealth, 479 Mass. 1033, 1034, 97 N.E.3d 683 (2018). See Salomon S.A. v. LaFond, 463 Mass. 1003, 1003, 971 N.E.2d 1277 (2012) (ordinary appellate process “not per se inadequate to vindicate a claim of lack of personal jurisdiction”); Gouin v. Commonwealth, 439 Mass. 1013, 1013, 792 N.E.2d 115 (2003), and cases cited (subject matter jurisdiction claims “routinely addressed ․ on direct appeal following conviction”). See also Fitzpatrick v. Commonwealth, 453 Mass. 1014, 1015, 904 N.E.2d 426 (2009). “[U]nless a single justice decides the matter on the merits or reserves and reports it to the full court, neither of which occurred here, a defendant cannot receive review under G. L. c. 211, § 3, from the denial of his motion to dismiss.”5 Calzado, supra, quoting Bateman v. Commonwealth, 449 Mass. 1024, 1024-1025, 868 N.E.2d 606 (2007).
Nothing in Wallace's petition under G. L. c. 211, § 3, required exercise of the court's extraordinary power of general superintendence, and the single justice was warranted in denying it.
Judgment affirmed.
FOOTNOTES
1. In his petition, Wallace identified himself as “ ‘Szyon Nkrumah, Al © All Rights Reserved,’ Indigenous, Free Sovereign and Private Great Seal Moor, in propria persona, sui juris (not pro se or colorable); Secured Party, Third Party IntervenoAdministrator for WALLACE, NICKOYAN ©.”
2. Wallace bases his claim on myriad treaties, laws, and constitutional provisions. He also claims a treaty right to “Consular assistance” in this matter. We do not consider the substantive merits of his claims at this interlocutory stage.
3. The Superior Court's docket reflects that Wallace also filed a notice of appeal.
4. The rule also requires that “[t]he appeal shall be presented ․ on the papers filed in the single justice session” and that the petitioner must file a record appendix. S.J.C. Rule 2:21 (2). Wallace failed to file a record appendix containing the record before the single justice. See Bishay v. Land Court Dep't of the Trial Court, 477 Mass. 1032, 1033 n.2, 81 N.E.3d 292 (2017) (“[t]his presents a further reason not to disturb the judgment”).
5. We have recognized a limited exception to this rule, where a “criminal defendant ․ raises a double jeopardy claim of substantial merit.” Neverson v. Commonwealth, 406 Mass. 174, 175, 546 N.E.2d 876 (1989). That exception does not apply to the jurisdictional claims asserted here. See Gouin, 439 Mass. at 1013, 792 N.E.2d 115 (subject matter jurisdiction claim not comparable to protection against double jeopardy); Meuse v. Commonwealth, 437 Mass. 1004, 1004-1005, 769 N.E.2d 271 (2002).

Article One
Moorish sovereign citizen from Dorchester demands state drop murder charges because state has no jurisdiction over him; state's highest court rules it does.
05/25/2023
The Supreme Judicial Court ruled today that Nickoyan Wallace has to stand trial on charges he shot a man to death on Park Street in Dorchester in 2021.
The state's highest court rejected a request by Wallace, 49, who know goes by the name of "Szyon Nkrumah, Al © All Rights Reserved," to dismiss the case because he is an "Indigenous, Free Sovereign and Private Great Seal Moor, in propria persona, sui juris (not pro se or colorable)" and so not bound by the laws of the Commonwealth.
The justices did not deal directly with the sovereignty issues Wallace raised in his "writ of quo warranto" (an ancient legal writ used to question the authority of rulers), because in Massachusetts, appeals of denials of motions to dismiss can normally only be filed after a verdict has been rendered in a criminal case, and Wallace has yet to come to trial on charges he gunned down Ivanildo Barros 590 Park St. on May 28, 2021. The court said it can only hear such pre-verdict motions in rare cases, such as in potential cases of double jeopardy, which is not at issue in Wallace's case.
Wallace's trial on murder and gun charges is currently scheduled for Jan. 23 in Suffolk Superior Court. At a hearing last week, Wallace, who is acting as his own attorney, but with a "stand by" lawyer appointed by the court, objected to "the entirety of the proceeding," court records show.
This will not be the first time that Wallace has faced a murder charge. In 2000, Wallace and one of his brothers were charged with murdering a third brother, allegedly over drugs, and based in part on testimony from a fourth brother.
Prosecutors decided to try both brothers together, but Wallace's brother fled. The SJC eventually ordered the dismissal of the murder charge against Wallace because he was deprived of his right to a speedy trial as police hunted the brother - who was convicted in 2017 on second-degree murder charges.
Both brothers were charged in federal court for robbing a Providence gun store at gunpoint several months after their brother's murder. Wallace was convicted and served a ten-year sentence in federal prison. Source: Rules Don't Apply to Me

Article Two
Dorchester man convicted of murdering his brother in a dispute over drugs in 2000
04/12/2017
A Suffolk Superior Court jury yesterday convicted Timi Wallace, 44, of second-degree murder for the drug-related shooting death of his brother, Tasfa Wallace, on Levant Street on March 26, 2000, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Wallace will be sentenced today to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years. He is already serving a 25-year federal prison sentence for robbing a Rhode Island gun store with a third brother, Nickoyan.
Assistant District Attorney Ursula Knight and Philip Cheng presented evidence and testimony over the course of four days proving Wallace’s participation in Tasfa Wallace’s homicide. He was observed directly outside Tasfa Wallace’s apartment, moments before the victim was shot multiple times through the apartment’s front door in what prosecutors argued was the culmination of a drug-related dispute, and he was observed leaving the building immediately after the shooting. Among the witnesses at trial was the now-retired detective who was the lead investigator on the 17-year-old murder.
Nickoyan Wallace was also initially charged with the murder, but the charge was dismissed because prosecutors did not bring him to trial fast enough. Nickoyan was arrested in 2000, Tasfa in 2004.

2023.05.31 16:32 The_manintheshed Orthopedic surgery in Ireland: Any insights?

Story lads. I'm an emigrant who's been gone 10 years, and in that time I've developed a chronic pain disorder and have a bunch of unresolved injuries that triggered it. I am working all the time to try turn the tide but with my lease up in September I am thinking of going home to my parents, quitting working for a while, and focusing solely on my issues until I'm able to work again.
It's a very difficult battle. I've seen every kind of specialist, and one area of my injuries (hand/wrist/forearm) has specifically been noted for a surgeon to review.
Thing is, I'm not sure of the landscape with health in Ireland now beyond what I remember it being: bad, very bad. I don't want to be on waiting lists forever and I'm currently on one here (Ontario, Canadad) just to get a consultation. The wait times are pretty bad here too - just in case you thought Canadian healthcare was top tier, I have news for you.
Some people have told me to go to Quebec or even Thailand to shell out for private care but obviously I would like to avoid that as it would cost thousands.
What is the state of things back home? Does anyone know how long it would take to get on a list to be seen and then treated? Any idea of the cost?
Thanks in advance.

2023.05.31 16:32 marnithefabric Flight Schools (Northern NJ)

Hi! Hope everybody reading this is healthy and blessed. I’m a 20 year old male looking to attain my Private Pilot License. I’m located in North NJ and got myself into what feels like a stupid situation. I checked out one of the highest rated schools near me: Air Fleet Systems in Fairfield. Got some information, found out that each lesson was going to be in the $480-$500 range. Meaning flying three times a week would come out to $1,500/week. Is this normal? I THEN, signed up for a discovery flight that costed me $370 🫠. IS THIS NORMAL?! I heard Somerset is cheap & has good reviews, anybody have experiences? Or is the price tag at Air Fleet Systems worth it?

VANCOUVER, BC / THENEWSWIRE / May 30, 2023 – Element 79 Gold Corp. (CSE:ELEM) (OTC:ELMGF) (FSE: 7YS) ("Element 79 Gold", the "Company") announces that, further to its November 17, 2022 release announcing that the Company had entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the “Valdo LOI”) with Valdo Minerals Ltd. (“Valdo”), the parties have mutually agreed to a 60-day extension to the exclusivity period to enter into a definitive agreement for the sale of three properties from its Battle Mountain Portfolio located in the northeastern Nevada, US.
The other terms of the LOI, as announced by the Company on November 17, 2022, remain unchanged.
Proposed Transaction Highlights
  • Valdo to acquire 100% interests and obligation in:
    • The North Mill Creek Project - comprised of 6 unpatented claims located at the margins of the Goat Window in Lander County, Nevada, an exposure of lower plate rocks beneath the Roberts Mountains Thrust, the preferred carbonate host of Carlin-type gold deposits.
    • The Elder Creek Project - comprised of 23 unpatented claims, which cover the historic Elder Creek open-pit mine in Lander County, Nevada, hosted in upper plate rocks where the mine area is believed to represent leakage from the deeper lower plate of the Roberts Mountains Thrust.
    • The Elephant Project - comprised of 197 claims located at the foot of the mine dumps at Nevada Gold Mines' Phoenix operation hosting a covered pediment target with various depths of cover based on the displacement of fault blocks.
  • Valdo to issue 3,750,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.30 CAD per share representing an aggregate value of CAD 1,125,000.
  • According to the revised exclusivity period, the transaction is expected to close by July 15, 2023.
“As we progressed toward the initial term of the LOI, Valdo expressed a desire for an extension as they finalize their project structuring and capitalization plans,” said James Tworek, Element79 Gold Corp CEO. “Our collaboration with Valdo holds great promise, spurred by their continued interest in how the optioned portfolio synergizes with their other regionally adjacent projects, we are confident that this extension will pave the way for a successful closing and strong Valdo story in the future.”
Element79 Gold’s Battle Mountain Portfolio
The Battle Mountain Portfolio was originally comprised of 15 separate projects totaling over 44,478 acres across 2,203 unpatented claims in five counties: Elko County, Eureka County, Humboldt County, Lander County, and Nye County. Most of the Battle Mountain Portfolio is located within the Battle Mountain Trend, with several projects close to globally reputable gold deposits including Nevada Gold's Cortez Mine.
The Battle Mountain Portfolio is comprised primarily of early-stage projects. While drilling has been completed at some projects, such as Elder Creek (155 holes) and Clover (104 holes), many have only surface sampling and geophysical surveys completed. Of particular note are the Long Peak, Elephant, Elder Creek, North Mill Creek, Clipper, Pipeline South, West Cortez, and Walti Projects, which are interpreted to lie along the northwest trending fault that hosts the high-grade Pipeline deposit, which is included in Nevada Gold's Cortez Mine.

About Element79 Gold
Element79 Gold is a mining company focused on gold, silver and associated metals and committed to maximizing shareholder value through responsible mining practices and sustainable development of its projects. Element79 Gold's main focus is on two core properties: developing its previously-producing, high-grade gold and silver mine, the Lucero project located in Arequipa, Peru, with the intent to bring it back into production in the near term; and its flagship Maverick Springs Project located in the famous gold mining district of northeastern Nevada, USA, between the Elko and White Pine Counties. Maverick Springs hosts a 43-101-compliant, pit-constrained mineral resource estimate reflecting an inferred resource of 3.71 million ounces of gold equivalent "AuEq" at a grade of 0.92 g/t AuEq (0.34 g/t Au and 43.4 g/t Ag) with an effective date of October 19, 2022. The acquisition of the Maverick Springs Project also included a portfolio of 15 properties along the Battle Mountain trend in Nevada, which are non-core to its primary business focus. In British Columbia, Element79 Gold has executed a Letter of Intent and funded a drilling program to acquire a private company that holds the option to 100% interest of the Snowbird High-Grade Gold Project, which consists of 10 mineral claims located in Central British Columbia, approximately 20km west of Fort St. James. The Company also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Dale Property, 90 unpatented mining claims located approximately 100 km southwest of Timmins, Ontario, Canada in the Timmins Mining Division, Dale Township. The Company is analyzing the non-core Nevada projects, The Dale Property and Snowbird Property for further merit of exploration, sale or spin-out.

Hello Bully it's me again, The Bully soundtrack composed by the genius Shawn Lee is pretty rad, so as a music enthusiastic, i want to share this post for people really obsessed with the Bully songs like me, tried to include every song in the game like as puzzle pieces getting together with the greatest amount, most accurate and similar as possible in one sitting, with some help around the internet, personal discoveries and songs already mentioned for yourselves so thank you nonetheless, and sorry for the repetition. Unfortunately some will still be missing so "a little help"/hits for these unreferenced sounds are very welcome.
Some songs are pretty obvious but others looks well hidden, but that's the fun of it, not every song is a sample, they just sound alike or has interpolations.
I know it would be boring to reading all of this so also dedicated this YouTube playlist in details for, so that you can check thoroughly for a more accurate comparison: 😎👍 - Have Fun! https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtZ1VivcLOsiTtYHUrK-xw8OHZZAeOzRf

·Dragon's Wing Comic Store (Xmas)/Hair Saloon (Rich)(Xmas)"Old Bullworth Vale": We Wish You a Merry Christmas - Traditional English (Britain) Folk Song

·Vendetta Nerds/Stronghold Assault (Nerd Boss Fight): Casio VL-1 Tone (Sampler), Da Da Da - Trio (not only the song but the nerds cliques itself looks heavy inspired by the movie Revenge of the Nerds, some themes would also fit for Nerds in particular "Burning Down The House by Talking Heads")

★... Uncertain? ...Suggestions
·Bully Main Theme (Running Theme): Maniac - Michael Sembello, the synthesizer effect looks an interpolation of the xylophone effect used in the game.
·Overworld (Walking Theme) - The Phantom of the Opera Motion Picture Overture (this also resambles "echoes" by pink floyd but that peculiar melody is more predominant in this theme), Let's Ge Started (Bass Only) - Black Eyed Peas, it looks heavily inspired by Dario Argento movies (as the overall soundtrack).
·Here's to you Ms. Philips/Last Minute Shopping/Cook's Crush/Discretion Assured/Finding Johnny Vincent/Revenge on Mr. Burton "Part 1" (The Search): Sounds similar to "Tenant - Siouxsie And The Banshees", people often confuse this theme to "Cheating Time" but the track is named "Here's to you Ms. Philips" as does the mission, it also resembles a Giorgio Gaslini piece an italian jazz pianist or the american compositor Henry Mancini the creator of Pink Panther iconic theme.

[Wildcat's Revenge] - A Great Ride, a Dull Atmosphere, and a Park in an Identity Crisis.
I was lucky enough to be part of the passholder previews for Wildcat's Revenge yesterday. I selected my time slot to be at 6:30 to allow the ride to warm up a bit more, and to get a decent sunset ride. I also was able to snag a row 11 ride, which made the ride a lot better than the row 6 ride I was expecting.

https://preview.redd.it/htvi14lgl73b1.png?width=1334&format=png&auto=webp&s=9b516217eae4e0759d42debe8c24a9bf90062bf0
I'm not going to get too into the ride itself, there's already plenty of reviews out there of the ride. My advice is to just go into this ride with an open mind, and not assume it will be the best RMC, because it isn't.
As someone who's now ridden 5 RMC coasters (Lightning Rod, Twisted Timbers, Steel Vengeance, Storm Chaser, Wildcat), I think its in the top half, maybe even top 2. The only things I would change about the ride is the height of the first wave turn (It didn't have as strong of air as I was expecting), and the bowl section outside of the station. I'm not a huge fan of the barrel-roll-to-barrel-roll element separated by an overbank. I really wish the first zero-g roll was an airtime pop. That whole section to me felt like a big dead spot on the ride.
That being said, I really enjoyed a lot of the other elements. I loved the first big camelback, the finale off-axis hill, and especially the flat turn next to the lockers. The spike of laterals and ejector at the same time makes it my personal favorite element on the ride.

However, while waiting in line, and walking the entire park for a couple hours before my time slot, I realized something very sad about my home park; They just stopped trying in so many departments.
Don't get me wrong. I love this park. I love the coaster collection and I love the last remaining charm that is still around. But recently there have been a lot of decisions made by Hersheypark that just make me scratch my head. Chocolatetown was a great investment, and was really needed to streamline the front gate process instead of the former bottleneck. Chocolatetown isn't exactly my favorite aesthetic, but its the new wave of "unique and modern" architecture, which boils down to fresh concrete/pavers, brick, wood, and black steel. It isn't bad, but isn't amazing, and loses the charm that the old Dutch village had before the refurbishment.
Fast forward 3 years to Wildcat's Revenge, and it just feels like all of the budget and effort for the ride went into those damn custom trains instead of improving the station and lighting fixtures all around the area. For a ride as good as Wildcat's Revenge, the surrounding area and plaza make it feel like the former GCI never left. There was so much potential to have been done to the ride's plaza and none of it even saw the light of day. Besides the trees that line the midway between the entrance and Wild Mouse, there is zero shade in the entire queue. Even the old wooden structure from the former Wildcat queue was refurbished with LED lights, but Hersheypark couldn't be bothered to even add the Cedar Fair shade triangles for some sort of relief. Yesterday was a very mild day in the high 70s - low 80s, and I cannot imagine having to wait in that line come July/August when temperatures reach the high 90s with 80% humidity.
While I really dislike the lack of shade, I think the worst offender is the lack of a ride plaza and the ability to actually see the ride from the park. Unless you're walking right next to the ride past the boardwalk entrance or are in line, you cannot see this ride from anywhere in the park while walking on pathways. Obviously, I'm not a designer nor in charge of the budget for Hersheypark, but a little plaza on the current queue line would have gone a long way in my book. It would've given families a spot to wait while others are riding, better vantage points of the ride, and a great photo op. There's even an entire gravel patch between Laff Track's building and Wildcat's underflip that would've been a great spot for a shaded queue line, while the plaza would go in the current queue line.
Maybe I'm nitpicking, maybe I'm spoiled. I'm not sure. I'm extremely thankful to have such a well-rounded coaster collection less than 2 hours from where I currently live in Maryland, and I'm thankful that Hersheypark was kind enough to allow for passholder previews. But this park that I've been visiting since 2000 has just made so many odd decisions lately it makes me question a lot of their decisions. Hersheypark gives me the feeling that they want to become a destination park like Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, or KBF, but are only adding great coasters while forgetting the rest of the park.
Anyways if you made it this far into my rant, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read it. I genuinely really enjoy Wildcat's Revenge. IMO, it gives Hersheypark the 3rd best lineup in the country (Only behind Cedar Point and Magic Mountain). Its just sad for me to see the park I love giving zero effort in so many other departments.

2023.05.31 14:39 BenevolentTangerine Poly & Bark fabric furniture

I'm looking for some insight and reviews on Poly & Bark's fabric furniture. I've seen a lot of posts about their leather stuff, but none on their fabric materials.
I am considering buying the Malaga sectional (https://www.polyandbark.com/products/malaga-left-facing-sectional-sofa?variant=39723461607497), especially because it seems to be a very close dupe for the Crate and Barrel Oceanside sectional. They look almost identical and have essentially the same dimensions! The big difference is the material-- C&B is a polyester-cotton blend, while P&B is a polyester-acrylic-wool.
SO, I am wondering: has anyone bought a couch or chair from Poly & Bark that uses this material? How does it feel, hold up, and do with stains? Also, has anyone bought the Malaga sectional? Does it seem like a good and cheaper option compared to the Oceanside sectional? Thanks!

2023.05.31 14:37 Emotional-Brief-1775 The FBI evidence list and further observations

The FBI evidence list and further observations
Some more interesting observations.
Here's the link to the FBI file from the vault that is publicly available online:
https://vault.fbi.gov/jeffrey-lionel-dahmejeffrey-lionel-dahmer-part-01-of-19/view

Have a look at part 6.
It lists the items of evidence submitted for analysis (remember the FBI did offer forensic services), dated August 12 1991. This list mentions various items recovered from apt 213. There's also mention of swabs and samples, there's smears, some teeth here and there (remember Gerald Boyle recommended that remains could be returned to the families at the second hearing).
You may also be familiar now with the 1994 article written by the forensic team - here's the link for reference:
1994 article
The article (on page 7) mentions a bloodstained Polaroid camera in the bedroom.

There is no mention of the Polaroid camera in the FBI list, although other stained items are listed for analysis (including the presence of blood), in the requested examination.

Also, there is no mention of any PPE at all on the list. From what we are told happened in that flat, Jeff would have needed plenty of PPE. And this would have been key evidence too. Here's a recap on that:
The hazards of hydrochloric acid
Also, here's an excerpt from the FBI behavioural analysis interview dated 6 March 1992, where Jeff describes his method of preparing 'big clean skeletons' in an 80 gallon cooking pot (80 gallons - that's a much bigger capacity than the 57 gallon blue barrel remember). On that little stove?
And the acid baths with seemingly no PPE:

https://preview.redd.it/9d2pky5pb73b1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=975793e4c664afae198638030a2df93246acaecd

Here's a photo of that little stove (freely available online):

Maybe arithmetic wasn't Jeff's best subject and that may have affected his spacial awareness.

2023.05.31 14:23 nedthestaffie Is it possible to manage without mood stabilizers?

I'm in the UK and unfortunately living in the worst performing mental health trust in the country. When I moved here 5 years ago I'd been managing reasonably well with BPD and depression, as I'd worked with a great mental health team who were skilled and responsive with the right interventions.
Since I moved, my overall mental health has totally collapsed where I was dealing with PMDD (severe pms) and got diagnosed privately with ADHD...but my mental health team have ignored my requests to be reassessed by a psychiatrist, or review my meds. When I got surgery last year for the PMDD, I developed PTSD as there was no mental health support afterwards even though I was delirious and disassociating.
The stress of it all and lack of any support or intervention seems to have activated what meets the diagnostic criteria for Bipolar 2, where there's a strong genetic link. As I have not been able to get any treatment or support for my mental health, I've been trying to manage it myself by doing medical research and educating myself.
I'm also used to mood tracking when I was preparing for a consultation for PMDD (as it's a mood disorder) so I've noticed a pattern with severe depressive episodes, hypomania and rapid cycling sometimes.
I knew there was no point in depending on mental health team, as they ignore me and fob me off, so I asked my GP if he could prescribe Lamogtrigine. He refused as he said a script could only be issued by a psychiatrist, but I've never met or even heard of a single psychiatrist in the mental health team or the hospital!
He knows about the trauma I've experienced with the mental health team and how much they have damaged me psychologically, but I'm forced to go back to them to ask for help when they are retraumatizing me.
Sorry for the ramble, but is it possible to manage BP 2 without mood stabilizing medication? I can feel myself slipping into a hole and each depressive episode seems to get worse and more severe.
When I first started medication for ADHD I felt such a weight lifted, it made an enormous difference. Unfortunately it's not working at the moment because if there's another issue that's not being treated (BP 2), the meds aren't effective.
Thanks for any feedback!

Eric Sprott's Ownership of Galleon Gold Increases to 21.45%
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - May 31, 2023) - Galleon Gold Corp. (TSXV: GGO) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement (the "Agreement") with 2176423 Ontario Ltd., (the "Vendor"), a corporation that is beneficially owned and controlled by Eric Sprott ("Eric Sprott"), to acquire the Vendor's 100% interest in a stockpile of mineralized material (the "Stockpile") located on the Neal Idaho Project, 27 km southeast of Boise, Idaho (the "Project") together with its 20% interest in the Project in consideration of the issuance by the Company to the Vendor of 2,000,000 common shares of Galleon Gold (the "Shares"). Upon closing of the transaction, the Company will hold a 100% leasehold interest in the Project and Eric Sprott's ownership of Galleon Gold will increase to 21.45%.
The Stockpile, a 13,900-ton bulk sample, was derived from an open cut area in 2016-2017. As the material was trucked from the open cut to the Stockpile, approximately 741 samples were collected and assayed at an independent laboratory. Results of the sampling indicate the Stockpile graded at 0.132 opt (4.54 gpt Au), equivalent to approximately 1,835 ounces of gold in-situ. The Company is investigating various transport and processing options to determine the best means of handling the Stockpile material.
This transaction paves the way for a simpler operating structure for the Project, while enabling Eric Sprott to participate in the Project's advancement through his equity ownership in Galleon Gold.
The transaction is subject to final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and the Shares are subject to a hold period of four months and a day under applicable Canadian securities laws.
Comment from CEO
David Russell, President and CEO of Galleon Gold commented, "We are very pleased that Eric continues to demonstrate his confidence in Galleon Gold. He has consistently supported the Company since 2019 through significant investments. We look forward to driving value for him and all our shareholders as we advance both the Neal and our West Cache Gold Projects."
The transaction constitutes a "related party transaction" for the Company for the purposes of Multilateral Instrument 61-101 - Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions ("MI 61-101") as Mr. Sprott owns more than 10% of the Company's issued and outstanding Shares. The Company is relying on the exemptions from the requirement to obtain a formal evaluation and minority shareholder approval in connection with the transaction contained in sections 5.5 (a) and 5.7 (1) (a) of MI 61-101, as neither the fair market value of the securities issued, nor the fair market value of the consideration for the securities issued exceeds 25% of the Company's market capitalization as calculated in accordance with MI 61-101. The Company did not file a material change report containing all the disclosure required by MI 61-101 more than 21 days before the expected closing of the transaction as the Company wishes to close the transaction as expeditiously as possible.
Technical Content and Qualified Person
The technical content of this news release has been reviewed and approved by by Thomas H. Chadwick, BSc., CPG, a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 Disclosure Standards for Mineral Projects.
About the Neal Project
  • The Project is leased from Daisy Mining and Land LLP. Under the lease agreement, the Company may remove, extract, ship and sell all ores, minerals and material from the property. In exchange, Daisy Mining will receive lease payments equal to $3.00 per ton for all material removed from the property. If the annual lease payment is less than $10,000, Daisy Mining is paid a cash top-up to meet the $10,000 annual payment minimum. Daisy Mining will also receive production payments on any future production in the form of a 3% NSR.
  • The Project is a high-grade gold-dominant vein system with at least five veins known to date. It is located near Boise, Idaho and has excellent access via 20 kilometers of improved gravel and dirt roads from Interstate-84.
  • The Project consists of five private patented mining claims covering approximately 22.4 hectares (55.38 acres) and another seven unpatented lode claims covering about 52.6 hectares (130 acres) located on U.S. Forest Service administered public lands.
  • Gold mineralization at the Neal Project and elsewhere in the Neal Mining District was discovered in 1889 by Arthur Neal. Total reported District lode gold production through 1941 has been estimated at around 30,000 ounces, with most of this production coming from the Neal Project area in the 1889-1915 time frame.
  • The Neal Project area contains three historic underground gold mines: Hidden Treasure, Homestake and Daisy. These mines were eventually connected underground and were at peak production from 1902-1915.
  • Neal was explored in the late 1980's for open pit, heap leach potential with a reverse circulation drilling program consisting of 208 holes totaling 47,000 feet.
  • Modern bulk sampling from an open cut in 2015-2016 produced a stockpile of mineralized material estimated to contain approximately 13,900 tons at 0.132 ounces per ton (4.54 gpt) gold. The qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify this historical estimate as current mineral resources or reserves and the Company is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources or mineral reserves.
About Galleon Gold Galleon Gold is an exploration and development company focused on advancing the West Cache Gold Project in Timmins, Ontario. The West Cache Gold Project is located 7 km northeast of Pan American Silver's Timmins West Mine and 14 km southwest of Newmont's Hollinger Mine. 2023.05.31 14:10 50mmpersecond periodic event email notification

I'm looking for a periodic event email notification solution that's practical for multiple users at once, easy to review, and segmentable.

As far as I've browsed, the most suitable is google sheets using an email notification add-on, which otherwise cannot be hosted in-house.
I have not seen anywhere that sheets could not be used for commercial use.
The problem is of course data privacy.

Gsheets have "versioning", so it's possible to view and undo changes, which si nice but not a must.
Multiple sheets or multiple documents with easy privilege settings.

One of the usage example is the preventive replacement of batteries in UPS.

As far as I've browsed, i found to-do's, calendars that are not practical or larger systems that come with 90% of fuctionalitys for something else.

Is something like this possible via next-cloud?

How do you solve this in companies?
Or if anyone uses similar solutions for private use?

It's Wednesday and this is a very bizarre edition, with no major releases but rather: a watch you can’t buy because it’s too expensive, a watch you can buy but would you want to?, a watch you can’t buy without first buying an apartment, a watch that’s just ridiculous but also very affordable, and a watch that you can afford, but can't get. Cool. Also, the giveaway ends today if you're interested.

What's new

Franck Muller Stuffs A Complex Movement Into The Very Sporty Grand Central Tourbillon Flash
I’ll go first: I’m not a Franck Muller fan. It’s the case shape that bugs me. That, and the eye watering prices. However, as I learned just a few days ago, there are a lot of people out there who don’t like Franck Muller because they believe the brand is too young, too laid back and too whimsical to be taken as a serious watchmaker. I guess the people at Franck Muller have heard these criticisms and took a super high-end and complex movement and stuffed it into a super sporty, super whimsical case, calling it the Franck Muller Grand Central Tourbillon Flash. Take that, haters.
Just like pretty much every other Franck Muller, the Grand Central Tourbillon Flash has a tonneau case shape. With the Curvex CX architecture which debuted in 2021, this vaguely ovate silhouette captures that slightly eccentric spirit of the tonneau with ease. It’s both dressy and sporty, especially sporty when made from carbon fibre, as is the case with the Grand Central Tourbillon Flash.
The grey and black stripes of the carbon case make for a subtle texture in comparison to the black PVD-coated hardware such as the crown and strap clasp, and dark cases help to reduce the impact of a larger size on the wrist too. Yeah, it’s a pretty big watch, despite being only 36.5mm wide. The issue is with the tonneau case, as it makes the watch 52.65mm long. It also comes up to 12.3mm thick.
Instead of the traditional position at 6 o’clock, the Franck Muller Grand Central Tourbillon has been built from the ground up to show off this feat. Many of the components have been given a black PVD coating which draws extra attention to the brightly-coloured seconds hand mounted to it. The arrow tip and blocky indices are made from intensely coloured PMMA that almost look luminous when provided with light. It’s available in orange, green, or blue, each looking absolutely electric. The watches also come in matching colored straps made with a sporty nylon weave and a calf leather backing, making the watch scream in neon colors.
This is an expensive watch. Like, really expensive. The new Franck Muller Curvex CX Flash Grand Central Tourbillon watches start out at $123,900 USD and increase from there for the models with carbon fiber cases.

Luminox Goes Full Military Spec With Their New Watch
Strap a Luminox to your hand and it won’t be mistaken for a Tudor. They have cut a very sharp line of what kind of watches they like doing and they do them perfectly, with military units being some of their biggest customers. Now Luminox is leaning heavily into their military heritage with a new timepiece that compliant with the military performance specification standards of MIL-PRF-46374G, which outlines the requirements for a wristwatch by the U.S. Department of Defense. Known as the Luminox Mil-Spec 3350 Series, the new timepiece expands upon the core design of its fan-favorite Navy SEAL collection with ultra-durable case materials and an upgraded Swiss quartz movement that offers additional protection against both impacts and extreme temperatures.
The overall case shape of the new Luminox Mil-Spec 3350 Series is more-or-less the same as what can be found throughout the brand’s greater Navy SEAL collection, and it offers an angular profile that measures 46mm in diameter by 14mm thick. At launch, this model will be available in only one color - black, with a matte black dial with large white Arabic numeral hour markers and a date window at the 3 o’clock location.
Similar to other Luminox watches, the various luminous elements on the new Luminox Mil-Spec 3350 Series glow different colors in the dark. The tritium tubes that appear on the hour hand, 12 o’clock index, and zero-marker of the bezel all glow yellow; the tip of the seconds hand (which seems to be a traditional painted luminous element rather than a tritium gas-filled tube) glows green, and all of the other tritium tubes that appear on the minute hand and remaining hour markers emit a blue glow to help provide a better orientation of the time when viewed in dark settings.
To further add to its durability and performance, it is powered by the ETA F06.412 quartz movement, which offers a 7-year battery life. Fitted to the 24mm lugs of the Luminox Mil-Spec 3350 Series is a two-piece black rubber strap with a pin buckle, and the watch also comes as a set with an additional fabric NATO strap in a gray and black camo pattern with matching black-finished hardware.
Despite its premium materials and movement, the new Luminox Mil-Spec 3350 Series isn’t all that much more expensive than many of the brand’s entry-level Navy SEAL dive watches. It will set you back $695 USD.

You Can Get This Stunning Limited Bovet Watch Absolutely Free. You Just Have To Buy An Apartment For At Least $5 million
Bovet, the coveted independent watch brand, just announced they will be creating 10 special editions of their classic 19Thirty wristwatch for their partnership with the historic Old War Office (OWO) in London and will be decorating the special watches with motifs from the stunning building in which Churchill waged World War II. And you can’t get one. Technically, you can, you will even get it for free, but you have to buy one of the ten apartments in the OWO, and they start at $5 million.
The OWO is a building with incredible looks and even more incredible history, having served as the war strategising place for some of the most important moments in history. It was recently leased for 250 years to a private investor and has been renovate by Raffles as a luxurious hotel with private residences. To mark the occasion, OWO Residences has commissioned Bovet to create ten gold 19Thirty timepieces to gift the ten owners of the ten most luxurious homes.
The model selected for the new owners is the 19Thirty, one of Bovet’s time-only watches in 18k red gold. Introduced in 2015, the style of the Fleurier case, with its crown at noon and small seconds at 6 o’clock, give the 19Thirty its strong pocket watch personality. It’s 42mm wide and just 9mm thick. Borrowing decorative motifs from the OWO, the outer flanks of the red gold case are decorated with a hand-engraved ‘egg and dart’ motif, and the bow at noon is engraved with a marble shell motif found on the fireplaces and mouldings of the OWO.
Like other 19Thirty models, the time indications are presented in an off-centred hours and minutes counter that intersects a smaller seconds counter with Arabic numbers. Forming an upside-down figure eight, the larger counter features a pattern taken from the Rose Ceiling above the grand staircase of the OWO. Using a blue background, the petals of the rose are recreated in gold lacquer. At 3 and 9 o’clock, two circular depressions add relief to the scenery: the one at 3 o’clock houses the power-reserve indicator, and to underscore the symmetry, the one on the left is opened on the barrel.
The Bovet 19Thirty OWO Special Edition is a limited edition of ten watches produced exclusively for owners of the OWO residences. The apartments range in price from $5 million up to $37 million.

BA111OD Sizes Down To 40mm Making It An Even More Attractive Timepiece
Despite it’s silly name, Ba111od is becoming one of my favorite watchmakers. They’re Swiss made, completely insane looking, with interesting complications and priced at about a tenth of what you would expect from a watch that looks like a Ba111od. Following the big success of its first tourbillon, Chapter 4.1, The Veblen Dilemma*, which has sold more than 600 pieces to date, Ba111od decided to answer popular requests and release a 40mm version of the otherwise 44mm watch, and they’re calling it the 4.5.
This is not the first watch in the Chapter 4 collection to be encased in a 40mm size. Chapter 4.2 Lily had a 40mm titanium coated with 4N rose gold and pitched as a ladies watch. The next two had black DLC and was released in 40mm as Chapter 4.3 and in 44mm as Chapter 4.4. These two black DLC models were also available as a twin set.
However, to date it seems that the 4.1 has been their greatest hit, so it’s no surprise that they shrunk it down, but making it the exact same watch, with the same materials and colors. This means you get a grade 5 titanium case with a tantalum grey DLC treatment, a hand-wound movement and a 105-hour power reserve.
While Ba111od say they have done this to make the watch more unisex, I would say it’s more likely that there were many people that wanted one, but could not do with the 44mm case. The one other major thing that has changed is the price. While the Chapter 4.1 was limited to 202 pieces and had a retail price of CHF 4,920, the Ba111od Chapter 4.5 The Velben Dilemma Tourbillon, which is on sale right now, will be limited to 111 pieces and has a retail price of CHF 5,540. Deliveries expected from December 2023.

This New Limited Edition Halios Made in Collaboration with Topper Jewelers Is Gorgeous But It Sold Out In Less Than A Minute
There are many microbrands in this world, but very few have as intense a following as Halios. Every single watch they put out sells out very fast and if you take a peek at their website you’ll see that they had to pause allocations in order to catch up with production. Their releases are slowing and demand is growing. So, whenever they announce a new watch, even if it is a 100 piece limited edition made in collaboration with Topper Jewelers out of Burlingame, CA, people look to see what will happen. And what happens is it sells out in lest than a minute.
It’s a new Universa, but it incorporates dial elements typically found in the Seaforth. The Universa has a 38mm stainless steel case that is mostly brushed, but has a classic polished chamfer along the lugs. The bezel-less design gives the watch an old-school, no nonsense sports watch vibe. It’s the dial, though, that makes this Universa special. It’s a crisp white with hands and hour markers that have been accented in black for maximum contrast. The layout is taken directly from the Seaforth, and includes the same thick, applied hour markers that give the dial an increased sense of depth. Hash marks on the minute scale alternate between blue, yellow, and green, representing natural elements found near Topper’s headquarters in Burlingame - the ocean, northern California sunshine, and giant redwood trees.
The fans want a new Halios so bad and the supply is so low, the watch, priced at an even $1,000, sold out in one minute.

The Holthinrichs Watches DECONSTRUCTED — Ushering In A New Era For The Dutch Atelier
Any Holthinrichs piece is deceptively light for a mechanical watch due to the slim case and 3D-printed technique. The sides are seriously scalloped, while the sweeping lugs are cut away, skeletonized with the raw, unfinished steel visible on the inside. With the DECONSTRUCTED, we see Grade 5 titanium for the first time, which will make this a feather-light watch. The dial itself is intense in its layered appearance, displaying a focus on contrasts between frosted dark flat surfaces and hand-polished anglage. This is done in black rhodium, echoing the darker tone of titanium and creating an amphitheater with the Decon movement at center stage.

2023.05.31 13:06 Board_Game_Changer A Review Of Koray's Semantic SEO Course

As Koray's semantic SEO course gets more and more full, more people are asking why he refuses to do what was promised and advertised in the course. The two main selling points of the course, as Koray advertised, were that you'd
  1. learn how to make topical maps, and
  2. you'd have him to guide you in the "elite" private group.
Yet based on the majority of posts and comments (until the moderators required posts to be reviewed) most still have no idea how to make topical maps. This is the most important part of the course, and without it, you can't really employ anything learned in the course. Which wouldn't be a big deal, if it weren't for the fact that he refuses to help anyone in any way shape or form when it comes to this topic.
It is clear now why he refuses to do what was advertised, and that is the announcement of a $4,000 coaching group he decided to release after the $1,000 course was released. He never mentioned it prior to the course being released, and waited until people started begging for him to answer topical map questions.
The only response he gave on topical maps was that if we want to learn more, we'd have to pay $4,000 for a coaching program.
I can't post images in this subreddit, but I'll link in the comments to the original post where I have the images attached. In those images, I show a response I noticed he made the other day. A user politely suggested Koray add some video content that Koray mentioned he already had, but decided to leave out, due to the suggestions of the beta testers.
I think the man is insanely smart, and am thankful for his case studies, his videos and everything, but he has lost a lot of respect in my eyes. Not only has he shown incredibly deceitful business practices in the dishonesty of his advertising, and his failure to provide the agreed-upon products and services, but when called out for this lack of professionalism, he makes it clear he has no intention of making things right.

2023.05.31 13:05 HeadlessDisco I'm not really into Adultery

Before you grab your torches and pitchforks, I just wanna say I feel the same way about most concept albums. For one thing: it's got great highlights like the title track itself, Silent Film, The Darkest Days, Sweet Insanity, Moonlight City Drive, 100 Suicides etc. and I dig the noire 50s private detective plot about a middle aged man succumbing to infidelity and drugs, it's great. However in my honest opinion, and I will take every blow.. I feel that certain songs on albums like Committed and especially Anarchists told a more surreal, darker, and interesting story. At times Anarchists Of Good Taste gives me dystopian vibes, mixed with living in a sleazy hotel, with limbless figures, porcelain dolls and clowns that constantly eye you in rundown hallways. After all this is just my opinion. I love everything Todd does but I tend to pick which one stands out in my eyes. I feel the same way about Polkadot's 2nd album too. I do agree with whoever reviewed Adultery online and said it's "The album Patton never made" I still think it's a great album just not as good to comeback to a lot, if that makes any sense.

2023.05.31 12:38 blocktechbrew59 Security Mechanisms for Crypto Wallet Development

Security Mechanisms for Crypto Wallet Development

https://preview.redd.it/g2l3d3ehs63b1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=3b7d62c3069ac02b495321e2b80bb31616d60202
Introduction
In the realm of cryptocurrency, ensuring security holds utmost significance. As cryptocurrencies gain widespread popularity and crypto wallets become more widely adopted, the importance of ensuring the security of these wallets has become a crucial focus. This article delves into the various security mechanisms that should be incorporated during the development of a crypto wallet.
I. Importance of Security Mechanisms for Crypto Wallet Development
Ensuring the security of a crypto wallet is crucial because it holds the keys to access and manage valuable digital assets. Without adequate security measures, users are at risk of losing their funds through hacking, fraud, or other malicious activities. Implementing robust security mechanisms during the development process is essential to protect the assets of wallet users.
II. Encryption and Secure Key Storage
One of the fundamental security mechanisms for multi crypto wallet development is encryption. Encryption ensures that the sensitive information, such as private keys, stored within the wallet remains secure and inaccessible to unauthorized individuals. Strong encryption algorithms, combined with secure key storage techniques, provide a solid foundation for protecting the keys and preventing unauthorized access.
III. Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) enhances the security of crypto wallets by mandating users to provide multiple identification methods as a prerequisite for accessing their digital wallets. This typically involves a combination of something the user knows (e.g., a password), something they have (e.g., a mobile device or hardware token), and something they are (e.g., biometric data). The implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) significantly decreases the likelihood of unauthorized access, even in scenarios where one of the authentication factors has been compromised.
IV. Biometric Authentication
Biometric authentication, including fingerprint or facial recognition, presents users with a convenient and secure method of authentication. By using unique biological characteristics, biometric authentication enhances the security of crypto wallets by ensuring that only authorized users can access their funds. Integrating biometric authentication into wallet development adds an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access.
V. Secure Communication Protocols
Utilizing secure communication protocols, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS), is crucial for safeguarding the transmission of data between crypto wallets and external entities like blockchain nodes or cryptocurrency exchanges. Implementing secure communication protocols ensures that sensitive information remains encrypted during transmission, safeguarding it from interception and tampering by malicious actors.
VI. Hardware Wallets
Hardware wallets are physical devices explicitly designed to provide a secure storage solution for cryptocurrencies. These wallets store private keys offline, providing an extra layer of protection against online threats. Hardware wallets are highly regarded as one of the most secure choices for storing cryptocurrencies because they have the ability to isolate private keys from potential vulnerabilities in software or internet-connected devices.
VII. Security Audits and Penetration Testing
Regular security audits and penetration testing are vital to identify and address vulnerabilities in crypto wallet development. Through systematic testing and evaluation, developers can discover potential weaknesses in the wallet's security architecture and implement appropriate measures to mitigate these risks. External security audits can provide an independent assessment of the wallet's security posture.
VIII. Regular Updates and Patch Management
Keeping the crypto wallet software up to date is essential for maintaining security. Developers should regularly release updates and patches to address any identified vulnerabilities or weaknesses. To safeguard against known security threats, it is imperative to encourage users to regularly update their wallets to the latest version.
IX. Secure Backup and Recovery
Secure backup and recovery mechanisms are crucial to prevent the loss of funds due to device loss, theft, or hardware failure. Wallet developers should provide users with clear instructions on securely backing up their wallets and recovering their funds in case of emergencies. Implementing robust backup and recovery mechanisms ensures that users can restore their wallets and regain access to their funds even under adverse circumstances.
X. Social Engineering Prevention
Social engineering attacks, such as phishing or impersonation, pose a significant threat to crypto wallet users. Wallet developers should educate users about common social engineering tactics and provide guidelines to identify and avoid such attacks. Implementing security measures to detect and prevent social engineering attempts can protect users from inadvertently disclosing their sensitive information.
XI. Best Practices for Secure Crypto Wallet Development
Developers should follow industry best practices for secure crypto wallet development. This includes employing secure coding practices, conducting code reviews, adhering to the principle of least privilege, and implementing strong authentication and authorization mechanisms. By embracing these best practices, wallet developers can mitigate the risk of security breaches and safeguard users' assets.
XII. Case Studies: Security Breaches in Crypto Wallets
Examining real-world case studies of security breaches in crypto wallets provides valuable insights into the consequences of inadequate security measures. By analyzing these incidents, developers can learn from past mistakes and strengthen their own security mechanisms to prevent similar attacks in the future.
XIII. Conclusion
In conclusion, implementing robust security mechanisms is paramount for crypto wallet development. Encryption, multi-factor authentication, secure communication protocols, hardware wallets, regular audits, and user education are just a few of the essential elements in creating a secure crypto wallet. By prioritizing security during development and following industry best practices, wallet developers can provide users with peace of mind and protect their valuable digital assets.

2023.05.31 12:37 DMTryptaminesx DMT OPSEC 101 General Guide to Securing Yourself When Extracting DMT

Preface

I originally wrote this like a year ago and it's been sitting in my drive since. I really need to start busting out a lot of the half finished content I have so here's the first one! I did a fresh review of the documents and made some edits but I'm sure there's some mistakes. I have many more in store but no ETA on when I'll get to them.
Like most things I create this should be viewed as an ongoing document to be improved and carried into the future. Feel free to suggest improvements in the comments! There's already a lot of organization to be done by creating lists with a lot of my suggestions for easy reference.

Introduction

OPSEC is a ongoing assessment of your threat model and allowable risks against your implemented security measures. Threat model would be how we might get investigated by law enforcement (LE) and subsequently arrested or it might be how we prevent any malicious actors from using this info to bring you harm. Allowable risk is how much you really think you're going to get nailed for buying bark online or buying lab equipment off Amazon, it could even be how much you risk telling your neighbours who might perceive it as a meth lab and call the cops.
Not all of the factors and risks discussed in this post will apply to you but that's to be expected. The point is that you thought about it, assessed it's merit and reacted appropriately to protect yourself. Sometimes it's not about realistic threats as much as it's about piece of mind but if you find yourself constantly stressed about your OPSEC then it's time to re-evaluate your posture. If that stress is irrational, unreasonable and persisting you may be a victim of FUD; fear, uncertainty, doubt. A chronic disease that wastes away the sanity of good folk, the only known cure for FUD is cold, hard, facts preferably ingested in the form of well research studies, experiments and expert opinions.

Your Personal Responsibility

Loose lips sink ships and this remains true when you move up the chain to become your very own drug manufacturer. So let's keep this between us, the special people you hold close and curious like minded folk so they can venture on their own journey.
Depending on where you live, posting about this sort of project online in connection with your real identity could be quite costly to your future and freedom, be sure to manage this accordingly and when it doubt just shut the fuck up okay?

Location and Work Area

Simply put, if you don't own or pay for the place then I can't condone extracting in someone else's house. Please wait until you're in an appropriate living situation before extracting anything as it could land them in serious legal trouble or lead to injury as they are unaware of these powerful chemicals in their house. If you have roommates then I suggest you get their input on the matter but at the very least keep it all contained within the confines of the space you pay for exclusive access to. You should be considerate of the smells and fumes emitted during an extraction and mitigate them with sealing and ventilation where appropriate?
It is possible to easily extract on a small table in your bedroom closet for the large majority of an extraction but not every work area is suited for every tek. An A/B where you reduce litres of water would be a struggle in a bedroom closet without adequate ventilation but is perfect for a basic STB. Overall I would argue that STBs are the stealthiest form of extraction requiring the least variety of items and ingredients, don't require heating (not that any tek truly does), have the least steps and are a breeze for even the greenest novices.
Avoid leaving your extraction materials out for long periods of time, cleaning then putting them away and taking out as needed is recommended is a good hygiene practice so you're not caught with direct evidence or lots of equipment out in the open. Ensure everything is sealed firmly and packed properly when storing using padding as needed, store them inside an opaque container away from view. When you're done clean your work area by wiping it down, disposing of any garbage properly by concealing it in opaque bags, freshen the smell if necessary and conceal anything that may be left out like when evaporating solvent. When I would evap something I would simply put it in a card box outside on the desk, a mesh screen keeps solid materials out and air flowing.

Digital Safety

If you wish to bolster your digital opsec posture then https://privacyguides.org/ is one of the best resources for up to date info on software that protects your digital freedom: OS, encryption, messaging, password storage, search engines, metadata (EXIF) removal tools, etc. There is lots here.
Any OS is fine for our purposes as long as you take a few steps to guard it. Local disk encryption is a must and can be achieved easily on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iOS if not already on by default and ensure you have a sufficient lock screen password/pin, biometric locks are not secure since they can be used against your will. Take the time to go through your settings to ensure things like screen timeout are set to appropriate levels. Phones in particular contain a lot of data on you so take the time to ensure it is well secured.
When communicating with like-minded people I suggest you use messaging apps like Signal which has been proven effective by government subpoenas, be sure to leverage its feature set like local encryption, screen lock timeout, disappearing messages/photos and sealed sender, optionally it can be routed over Tor or a VPN but this will be overkill for almost all of you and is not recommended. When setup with a password Signal can also act as a vault for any photos you take hiding them from other apps and the view of other, simply take the picture and send to your own number and it will save as a note-to-self.
The signal app by default will wipe EXIF/metadata when a photo is saved inside the app. If you're not using Signal then I would suggest an app from this list here. For desktop I use ExifCleaner which is a great option and very easy to use but MAT2 is another method you can look at, with these tools you can also see what is being removed for comparison sake. The most important EXIF to wipe is location data if that is not already clear but camera, device and dates can also be of concern.
In my opinion nothing sensitive should remain on your phone forever. If you have photos you absolutely must (or just want I guess) keep I suggest moving them to desktop or cloud storage with strong encryption and access controls, not Google drive! Check out here for more details on encryption options. For Windows encryption on Windows you can use Veracrypt for both full disk encryption (FDE), single files and storage containers, storage containers are a great compromise for those not willing to FDE as they provide similar levels of protection but in a smaller package. I don't recommend using hidden containers unless you are an advanced user. For Debian based linux distros you can enable LUKS during install for FDE along with encrypting your home folder. Remember that encryption only works if they can't login freely so be sure to shutdown your devices when you're away from it for extended periods. Syncthing can be used to regularly move content off your phone to a safer location.
When talking encryption you absolutely must talk passwords or else all if for naught, I highly suggest getting a password manager mentioned here. Use different, long randomly generated passwords for each site and same goes for your master password, learn a but more on creating a good password here. I have passwords over 40 characters in length using Snowden's advice
Which translates to:
As a general example I just made up and if you want it even longer....
Yes, that's right, just fucking double it! Simple as shit and makes your password far too long to crack. Having it written down somewhere on a destructible piece of paper until you learn by memory is HIGHLY suggested, when writing it should differ from your actual password by leaving out parts:
Could become:
Test and access/decrypt it frequently so you can get use to typing it early on. I use Bitwarden which is cloud based but I don't mind the risk as I have strong password practices and I don't have to maintain my password vault. If you would rather use local encryption KeePassXC is the best option but be warned that if you experience any kind of disaster to your storage you lose everything, you must back up your encrypted vault to offline media like a few flash drives or SD cards and keep them in separate safe locations, SD cards in particular can hidden in the smallest of spaces. Always save your created passwords/logins before entering them password into a website to avoid losing them accidentally.
For browsing, any browser using a private/incognito mode is really all you need. For enhanced protection FireFox or any other browser shown here with the correct settings is probably enough. You can also use your password manager to store links and keep them out of anyone's view. For email I recommend you use something from this list but I personally use protonmail. For enhanced security you can use multiple emails when creating login details for websites. I recommend using your real name when ordering since receiving packages in somebody else's name is about as suspicious as it comes, additionally if you needed to claim the package you would be out of luck.

Buying Supplies

Yes the screenshots of amazon suggesting us our entire equipment sets are funny but they do highlight a problem of how specific and identifiable our purchasing habits can be. Whenever possible I would suggest diversifying your spending habits, some examples of this include but not limited too
There is nothing inherently wrong or illegal about buying this equipment but in conjunction with bark and other evidence it could be construed as extraction equipment which is why cleaning and proper storage can be so important.
There's two routes you can go when it comes to DMT extraction equipment, the lab equipment route or the home equipment route. Lab equipment are purpose made so they do an excellent job and increase safety significantly when used right. Home equipment is mega stealthy and cheap but with it you are often compromising your own safety. Virtually everyone strikes a balance in this regard to suit their tek and flavour of risk, something to consider when choosing your tek.

Closing

The best judge on which scenarios to protect against is you! OPSEC should be something you own as a whole so doing some critical thinking will be necessary to achieve your goals.
When in doubt, STOP and seek help from your fellow extractors on what is your best course of action.
