The leadership at this school for a long time continued to outdo its own incompetencies year after year, with the outcome of complete financial failure and at this point, a complete destruction and lackadaisical dismissal of anyone's academic records that need to be accessed for jobs, promotions, further education, and other life events. I graduated from this joke of a school 20 years ago, but have since left the CoC behind me. My question for those in the CoC - where is the line drawn that allows one Christian to sue and collect damages from another Christian, especially when one Christian (or in this case a group of them) have collectively destroyed the livelihoods of other Christians through wanton abuses of power and clear unaccountability for their own ineptitude?
The officials that have operated OVU over the years have proven themselves to be blundering idiots, Christian or not, and it's time they pay up for their transgressions.

LOGAN, Ohio - Update:10/11/2019 3:35 P.M. Two juveniles arrested in connection with to the death of a Parkersburg native at Hocking Hills State Park were each appointed attorneys Friday.
Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to a Chillicothe woman's death at Hocking Hills State Park, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Update: 9/16/2019 4:40 P.M. An independent crime-solving organization is now helping with the investigation of a death in early September at Hocking Hills State Park near Logan, Ohio.
Its toll-free number is 1-800-222-TIPS. UPDATE: 9/4/2019 1:25 PM. Investigators say they have found evidence a falling section of a tree that killed a woman at an Ohio state park wasn't ``a natural occurrence.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said it is investigating whether someone from above dislodged the piece of the tree that hit 44-year-old Victoria Schafer of Chillicothe on stairs near Old Man's Cave at Hocking Hills State Park.
Victoria Schafer of Chillicothe is the third person to die at the park this summer and the second in two weeks on the trails near Old Man's Cave.

That's what parents in Canada are claiming about the popular game Fortnite, and they want the company behind it to pay up.
Montreal-based law firm Calex Légal is representing parents who claim their two children are addicted to the game.
The law firm claims Fortnite is so addictive that it wants to launch a class-action lawsuit against Fortnite developer Epic Games, based on similar arguments leveled against the tobacco industry.
"They consulted with psychologists. They spent years perfecting their game, studying human behavior, human brain, to make it as addictive as possible."
CBC reports the legal notice filed by the firm compares Fortnite to cocaine, because it releases dopamine in the brains of young players, making them dependent on the game.
In June, the World Health Organization listed "Gaming disorder" as a mental health condition, which is "Characterized by impaired control over gaming, increasing priority given to gaming over other activities to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences."

LEWISVILLE, N.C. - Officials in a North Carolina school district are recalling approximately 20,000 Chromebooks after one of the laptops overheated and began smoldering inside a third grade classroom.
A student at Lewisville Elementary School was using a laptop Wednesday morning when it began to smolder.
A staff member used a fire extinguisher and suppressant on the laptop before firefighters arrived.
Another staff member pulled the fire alarm, and the rest of the school was evacuated.
Leaders with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools are recalling 20,000 Chromebooks of the 2015 model, the same as the laptop that caught fire.
The school district plans to examine newer model Chromebooks before Monday to determine if those can still be used.
