I've had several problems in the past with LR4 delivery and return pickup issues, but this one goes above and beyond. A little history: I have had multiple warranty replacements of particularly black LR4s (bonnet errors due to poor fit, constant sensor faults regardless of daily cleaning and now units that go into timing mode for hours without any fault notifications and a pockmarked globe that no longer sifts normal size waste due to gap). With the return issue I had earlier this year, it took 4 weeks and multiple Whisker contact attempts to get a FedEx pickup scheduled. I even wrote a certified letter to Whisker, but it was returned because, according to the post office, no one at the office was authorized to accept a certified letter... I reached out to customer support through the chat last week, and was authorized replacements of the current faulty units. I requested that the shipments be designated for business hours because FedEx would leave them on a downtown street after hours. (I ship to my office to avoid porch pirates at home). They said they couldn't do that and suggested shipping to a FedEx facility where I could pick them up. Skip ahead to delivery day and tracking showed that the delivery was rejected by the FedEx facility as being not ordered and the replacement LR4s would be returned to sender. Apparently, Whisker shipped as a home delivery rather than a hold for pickup at FedEx. I reached out to Whisker customer support through chat (because FedEx will only deal with the shipper apparently). After a 30-minute wait, the representative took my e-mail and said they would get back to me after they contacted FedEx. I heard nothing more and didn't really expect to. Tracking shows the replacement units are on the way back to Whisker and I am here with two faulty LR4s.
