Facts about me:

• I have been roleplaying since 2012. Yes, I got experience under my belt, and yes, my ideas usually have really long reads, but don't let that scare you off! After the starter is off, I may lower myself down to a decent paragraph or two, sometimes three! It all depends on what I've got to work with.
  
• My timezone is EST. I'm awake from 9am - 2am and I'm usually free unless I'm busy doing house chores, out of the house, asleep, or playing video games on my switch. I'm usually become REALLY active at or around 8pm.
  

Rules:
1: if you don't like 50/50 mixture of sex scenes and story, don't bother hopping into my inbox. I'm fine with sex scenes, but when it's constantly back to back, the roleplay itself gets boring.
2: Be literate. No one liners. I like to write..it's annoying when I send a 2-3 paragraph response and I get 3 lines...just...no. I am not accepting people who are just starting out! If you aren't experienced in writing or roleplaying, kindly stay out of my inbox.
3: Be okay with playing canon characters. I'm mainly doing fandom roleplays right now and it's going to be Canon x my oc. No, I'm not doing double ups. Do not even ask, because the answer will be no every time. I do not give a shit if you think that makes me 'lazy' or 'selfish', if you've got a problem, you can simply ignore or block me. Commenting on my post to bitch and whine about me not doubling up will only result in me blocking you. The ONLY time I'll double up, and if I'm confident enough, I'll only do female characters. I suck at males. Got a problem? Not my issue. Block and move on.
4: Roleplay in third person. I can't and won't adapt to first. Don't even bring up the idea of you playing first person and me playing third. Believe it or not, I've been asked this twice and that is just a hell no for me. The only time I do first, is when I'm writing into my book.
5: if you don't know how to share ideas, then don't bother messaging me. I'm tired of carrying the story when the other person doesn't help. If you've got ideas, then PLEASE speak up! Your opinion on the roleplay matters too! I'm an easy going person, and easy to get along with (dispite my rules).
6: DO NOT control my character. I control what she says, does, hears, sees, ect. I don't control yours, so don't control mine. HOWEVER, if it's highly necessary and needed, then run it by me first and ask me. Just leave me some wiggle room so I can make a decent response. Failure to comply by this rule, results in immediate drop of the rp.

Yes, I've updated my rules just a tad. I do not care if it makes me sound mean or rude, because I'm neither of these things. I'm just tired of putting these rules down for a specific reason and they go ignored because I can tell when someone hasn't read them, and lied about it. I'm just trying to get my point across and roleplay. I'm a very easy going person who loves to make friends on the side (which I've somewhat given up on making friends...only a selective few have actually gained my friendship).
Do not hop into my inbox with a simple 'hey' 'hi' 'sup', etc and for God's sake, don't message me with a 'rp?'and proceed me to flash me with your talliwhacker. “What did he say? Well, as Dad liked to recount it, he put on his most devastating romantic smolder and said, ‘Yeah? You’re hired’.”

“Oho, I don’t think Ma was expecting him to be that confident either, especially not after that display. But… for all of his faults, Pops always knew what he wanted, and that feisty little bellhop had just stolen his heart, right in front of him!”

“Eyup, all ours, and Komodo free… Well, it better be. I don’t mind putting more lizards in the ground but I also don’t wanna get yelled at if the fuckers are endangered or something.”

[He manages to get the cabin open and carry you in, setting you down on an immaculate couch]

I'm building a custom statblock for a beefed up hydra encounter. My players will be encountering it in an arena that has magical means of preventing death, so I'm not terribly worried about accidentally killing the party (Read: a moderate level of overpowered horseshit is fine), but I still want the encounter to be fun-challenging, not "and then the hydra eats you lmao".

So far the changes I've made are giving it a psudeo-breath weapon: a recharging ability that emits a line of flame for each head the hydra has (each line has reduced damage than, say, a CR-appropriate true dragon) ; an at will ability that lets it hurl a ball of flame as a standard attack (mostly to deal with a wizard who I KNOW is gonna camp out at the edge of the arena lmao) ; I've also changed its achilles heel damage type (standard is fire, which prevents it from regenerating heads after it's taken) to cold just to switch things up a little, which also works thematically because it's also themed as a fire elemental.
I'm likely going to give it legendary actions as well, simply because we have a moderately large party and I've seen them absolutely wreck the shit of boss enemies who lack them bc 5e action economy; I think the multiattack ability of the hydra will probably offset this a little, but it's still "hydra does one burst of things and then the party does nine million".

One of the abilities of the RAW CR8 Hydra is "Reactive Heads"; the Hydra gets an additional reaction it can take for each head it has, but it can only use that reaction to make an attack of opportunity. I've considered giving it the ability to grapple in place of one of these attacks of opportunity, to really cement the "once you're in melee with this thing you're IN MELEE with this thing", but I'm not certain that would actually be a fun ability to fight against, especially if it moves up to a squishy and just denies them the opportunity to leave.
What are some other fun gimmickey things I could do with a creature who gets multiple reactions? I'm not even certain how useful this ability is, it's just relatively unique amongst 5E creatures and I'm wondering how I can stretch it. I might not even do anything extra with this, but I wanted to think about it anyway.

If they are truly indestructible then why don't the characters use them as weapons? I see a lot of characters in the anime throwing rocks mid powerups (Ginyu throwing a rock at kaioken Goku) it probably wouldn't work but yeah what would the interaction probably be?
