Hello Salem,
I usually wash my own vehicle but sometimes when I’m short on time I’d like to be able to run through a touchless car wash. I’ve lived here for about 17 months and haven’t been able to find a car wash that isn’t a scratch machine.
I saw a thread mentioning a 76 station on Broadway/MLK Pkwy, but that thread was 5 years old so I don’t know if it’s still there or if more have popped up since.
Anyone got a touchless car wash they know of? I’m in south Salem but I’d venture anywhere nearby really.

Here are all of the new US CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in April 2023, according to the Department of Energy. These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for:

1. Tesla drivers who haven't bought the official CCS adapter yet. Certain older Teslas need additional work done to accept the adapter.
2. Leaf owners like me, and some owners of older cars that also use CHAdeMO. If you drive a Leaf, or an older CHAdeMO car, see my matching post in leaf.

Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes," e.g. the provider replaced them with faster chargers etc. Some may be incorrect. This report is only as good as the Alternative Fuels Data Center data.
There were 171 CCS charge points added or refreshed in April 2023, which is up from 159 in March. For comparison, there were only 100 new CCS charge points in April 2022. Things are speeding up.
"What about CCS charging at Tesla superchargers?" Tesla is in the process of rolling out their "magic dock" for non-Tesla cars in certain locations. I assume they will start to include this in their reporting to the Alternative Fuels Data Center soon. When they do it should be reflected here.

Below is a list of places to look for wastewater data in every state plus a couple of territories.
Things to consider:

1. If you don’t know how to read data and charts, I recommend learning about data analysis and statistics. If you’re not sure where to start, Khan Academy has some great lessons here: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/statistics-probability
2. You *cannot* compare the numbers of different cities to each other unless you know for sure that they are using the same sampling method and analysis. For example, in my state of North Carolina, the state does testing and the CDC does testing. They use two different methods. You cannot compare the numbers of the state sites to the CDC sites.
3. Many states report to the CDC and do not provide their own data visualization. The CDC’s data visualization of wastewater is not great.
4. It’s best to view most of these on a desktop browser instead of mobile.
5. Almost all data is delayed by at least 1-3 weeks
6. Many wastewater data pages will also post case counts. With enough historical data, this can be useful for correlating wastewater to low transmission levels during times when testing was high. But just make sure you know what data you’re reading.
7. A million viral gene copies per person sounds like a lot. But, for example, again in North Carolina, 1 million gene copies per person is actually correlated with extremely low transmission back during the times when people were testing. So, know what the data is telling you.

Here are all of the new US CHAdeMO (Leaf fast-charging) stations that rolled out in April 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
There were 112 "new" CHAdeMOs added in April. To put it in perspective, there were 171 CCS chargers added in April. I think the pace of CHAdeMO rollout has stabilized, while the pace of CCS rollout is still increasing. This makes sense given that only Nissan still makes a CHAdeMO car.
Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes," e.g. the provider replaced them with faster chargers etc. Some may be incorrect. This report is only as good as the Alternative Fuels Data Center data.
We all know that CHAdeMO is a legacy format and will eventually go away, but clearly Nissan and their partners are continuing to support it for the time being. This shouldn't be surprising. After all, you can still buy a new Leaf.

I am writing to you today, one day later than I had hoped but my week has been busy. Just got done with a slow 6 mile run in driving wind and rain and temps in the low 40s. But it was quite pleasant for me. I don’t mind being in the weather for a bit at a time, and it’s good practice for those days when you have no choice other than to endure.
I’ve got less than one week until race day (The Big A 50k). It’s a hilly course with 5700 feet of elevation gain but no large/long hills/climbs, and generally technical – predominantly rooty single track. I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. My sleep hasn’t been great this week… lots of extra energy, probably from the 3 week taper, plus we ordered and are waiting for a really nice e-cargo bike and that’s been a source of extra excitement. But I slept great last night.

As I ended my previous post, I was starting to get into the groove of weekly training, increasing mileage and targeting a backyard race at the end of July. I was battling some foot discomfort and energy/eating problems arising from underfueling and riding too hard while bike commuting. But as we entered into and through June, things started shaping up.
My weekly mileage was increasing, but still in the 20 mile range. I was able to go on longer runs of 6 or 7 miles without suffering any drawbacks or excessive fatigue. And we were going hiking in Maine and the White Mountains of NH once or twice a week, which I thought was grand – not only for getting vertical training, but also because I’ve always enjoyed it.
My partner got the idea in her that she wanted to tackle summiting the NH 48 – all mountains in NH over 4,000 feet. She ended up completing them all in a single season, with me joining in for most of them when I wasn’t recovering from events that would happen later in the season (me skipping some of the mountains I had previously done while on the AT and a subsequent presi-traverse). And the weather kept on proving to be amazing on the days we wound up hiking.
As July came, the ominous presence of my first real test into the unknown of ultra distances started coming to the fore in my thoughts and preparations. I was hoping to at least get my weekly mileage above 30 with at least a long run or two in the double digits leading into my taper for the event.
However, towards the end of June I went on a 3 day backpacking trip with 2 friends. The trip was amazing, but a day before we left I began experiencing some sinusitis in the form of nasal pressure and extreme mucus production. This would continue to bother me daily for the rest of the summer. Eventually I was able to track it down to an old window fan we had installed that had some form of irritant on it. But it definitely made everything a little more difficult than necessary.
And then just over 2 weeks out from race day, my partner and I both contracted Covid for the first time. Thankfully for me, I was mostly asymptomatic. I was dealing with those sinus issues… so it was kinda hard to tell. She definitely had it worse than I did. We both stayed home for a week, and I did my best to take care of her and to maintain some sanity.
I chose not to run during that period due to hearing stories of folks (top end athletes even) who had trained while being asymptomatic, but then became plagued by the effects of long-covid. But, I still needed to get miles on my feet so I would go on a really long walk everyday. And there I discovered that I could still walk at a pace well over the 4.167 mph needed to cover a single lap of a backyard race. Was this a strategy?
And during these walks, I would often find myself getting emotional thinking about the upcoming race. You see, I understood that a lot of what it took to keep going in an ultra event was a willingness to endure suffering, in addition to the physical capabilities of being able to stay upright and moving forward. And I would think about all of those years that I suffered alone in my alcoholism, unable to cope with life or to ask for help. And how that former version of myself was often stuck in a feedback loop of misery, unable to understand or fix what was wrong.
Thankfully I had found a solution in my sobriety. And that solution is what led me to choose to lean into my stubbornness, my willingness to endure suffering, and hopefully therein find joy. It would all be put to the test in a week or so.

The title. I’m moving to Salem NH at the end of May and looking for home insurance recommendations. I got a quote from Geico since I use them for my vehicle and it’s looking around $72 a month. Is that average?

What is your intended use for this build?
Gaming at 1440p144hz, potentially 4k in the future and "daily driving" use (web browsing, streaming, general media consumption.). Already have a pair of 27" 1440p monitors I intend to keep using for the foreseeable future.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
1440p144hz is what I'll be sticking with for the foreseeable future. Want something that'll last 5-6 years without any major downsides (obviously barring major tech breakthroughs and unforeseeable circumstances). Current build of i7-6700k, 32gb DDR4, and GTX 1080 has lasted since 2016 and still holds up. Want similar longevity out of new PC.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Additional Information and Inquiries
I'm reaching out to this community as to put a few extra eyes on the parts list and suggest alternatives that may just be better for longevity. My biggest concern is the CPU cooler. I'm taking all suggestions for alternatives to the Noctua U12A. I'm running an older D-14 in my current PC and I love it, but the D-15 would not give enough clearance for the RAM given the G.Skill Trident Z5 is rather tall. I'm open to closed loop liquid cooling solutions and I would love to hear some suggestions.
I intend on replacing all of the case fans in the Define 7 XL with the Noctua A14 140mm fan. I intend on doing 3 intakes in the front and 2x exhaust split between one in the rear and one on top towards the back. I don't know if that's overkill or not. I would like to hear opinions on the matter.
As for why I'd pick a Ryzen 7 7800x3D over the newer Ryzen 9 7900x3D or 7950x3D, it basically all comes down to the fact that I do not believe we'll need more than 8 cores for gaming for the foreseeable future and there's just no reason to spend the extra money for hardware that I will never utilize. I can be talked out of this.
Again, I'm just looking for general opinions. This build is going to cost me a lot of money and I want to be comfortable with the selections I make.

First off, yes I sorted with Loot and also Verified my cache; I have no idea what mod could be causing this either since it's possible that one of my mods was updated and it's been causing the lagging.
It started when I started a new game and headed to Finch Farm where I experienced the first CTD, then the Ironworks would crash after a while so I went to the National Guard Training Yard and everything was alright inside the building until the end of the dungeon where if I slept in a bed it would crash the game.
I thought it was a mod so I uninstalled it and started a new game since mine was so bugged and as I get to the lift in the intro scene the game crashes when the nuke goes off, it should also be noted that at times it seems that when robots self destruct the same happens as well.

A "stream of consciousness" style summary of a route that I call my “Tour d’East End” (on a gravel bike):
Starting at Dormont Junction T parking lot
Park Blvd to Dell to Hillsdale to Potomac to Broadway
Broadway all the way down through Beechview to Fallowfield
Then Sebring to Dagmar to Cape May
At West Liberty, just take the sidewalk, cars moving too damn fast
Right before Liberty Tubes, take sidewalk along 51 over to Bausman
Take trail through McKinley Park to Michigan
Michigan to Belzhoover to Manton Way to Arlington to Warrington to Brosville
Detour down St. Martin to St. Paul (and all the saints) to Yard Way
Stop to talk to old fellow on porch at corner of Yard Way and Shamokin (me: “do you ever get tired of the view?” old fellow “huh?” me: “Do You Ever Get Tired Of The View?” old fellow: “huh?” me: “DO YOU EVER GET TIRED OF THE VIEW?” old fellow: “we used to be able to see The Point before the trees grew’d up.”)
Carry bike down flight of stairs to Huron
Huron to Oporto to Baldauf to Roscoe to (I can’t recall), I just got down to the South Side
Ride aimlessly on South Side for a bit because it is a beautiful day and a train is blocking access to riverfront park via 18th street
Reach trail, cross hot metal, decide to head through Hazelwood on way to Frick Park
Up up up up hazelwood ave, to Beechwood to Frick Park trails
Descend to the bottom, and then up again to Regent Square side of the park
Cross S. Braddock, admire interesting roof on garage at corner of Biddle and Flotilla Way
Take East End to Penn and then navigate over to Meade (not necessarily easy)

So I was near Finch Farm when I first found out that it might be causing crashes in that area, because the Gunners as well as the other robots in the area might have been causing it; I only thought this was the case because when I was at the National Guard Training facility I sent a protectron into self destruct and it crashed my game.
Also when I go to sleep in a bed there when my character wakes up it CTDs as well, or when I try to load that specific save.
