Watch out for the budtenders at HOD Monroe, went last weekend with a friend who almost got scammed by a taller white guy in his mid 40s (brown hair, touch of gray) behind the counter. Wish I could be more descriptive but he was pretty average looking.
He ordered 24 XL jeeters, that had to be rang up in orders of 7 because of state purchase limits. First order of 7 was fine, then on the second order he only grabbed 6 and I literally watched him try to slight of hand the 7th back onto the counter. I called him out on it, and he proceeds to recount 2 times* saying nothing was wrong. So I counted them back for him seeing only 13/14. Then he tries saying “oh we will just make it right at the end” and won’t give a reason as to why he won’t fix it now.
So I started getting a bit irritated at this point and going over the receipt trying to find which one was missing, he then decides to take out every jeeter that was already rung up and paid for and mix them back into the pile that hadn’t been rung up. Like wtf is going on.
Eventually got to ring up 24 and paid the correct amount but this was drawn out for 20+ minutes while other people waited in line.
I really thought this guy was just stoned at first, but nobody in their right mind would let this man run the register if he was so fucking high he couldn’t count to 14. I 100% believe he was going to charge us for 24, push us out the door with 23 and pocket the last one for himself.
Had another budtender at this location recommend smoking RSO 3-4 months back(he still works there). Just going to outright avoid this place unless there’s a killer sale on edibles or RSO. It’s a shame because I’ve heard great things about HOD in Detroit, but HOD Monroe is an actual shithole.

I have a price for a 3 ton evaporator coil and 2.5 ton 13 seer condenser and a price for a 2.5 ton 16 seer condenser in lieu of the 13 seer condenser. House is about 1700 sq ft.
The 16 is $800 more than the 13. Is the electricity cost savings enough to make this worth the additional cost?

I make and sell jewellery online and at markets. I’m wondering how the process works of stocking in stores. A vintage store reached out to me and asked if I’d like to stock after I showed interested to their Instagram story. How does the process work? Do I sell them my jewellery for a lower price or do they have it in the store and take a percentage from each sale? I’m going to reach out to more stores around the city and just want to know how to charge accordingly so I don’t sell myself short!

I (M24) am three years out of undergrad and am currently working in a salaried sales role at a small mom and pop type company. I have been with the company for a year, and I was told that after approximately 6-9 months of starting, I would be transitioned into a commissioned role with a reduced base salary. However, the amount my salary will be reduced, and the percentage of commission have yet to be disclosed to me.
My currently salary is barely towing the line of a living wage in my large east coast city. I make approximately $33k after tax annually.
I am coming up on a performance review where I expect I will be transitioned into a commissioned role. Im wondering how common it is to have your base pay decreased once you begin to earn commission, especially given my low starting salary.
I know all commissioned sales roles are compensated differently, but Im wondering if any of you have a general ballpark percentage of commission that is common/standard for a sales role? I really don’t know what to expect.

Just a heads up, this anime is not "your name" for that movie released years after the show that I'm regarding to.
When I was younger, let's say 2011-2013 or 2014, I use to visit my cousins house who has since passed. But as i use to visit his house all the time, we use to watch this anime, or at least as far as I remember so here's everything I can remember.
The protagonist is a boy and a girl, i cant remember the context but they seem to either be siblings or childhood friends, but something happened which led them to separated and that's the main focal point of the story. it seems as if the main focal point of the story has been about the two finding their way back to each other, one scene in particular either the girl or the boy enters the city, i believe it was the girl, and she meets i believe either a card reader or just an old lady, where in they talked and I think the girl left, afterwards the boy goes to the same city and meets the same old lady or card reader and if they girl stayed longer they would have found each other again, and that's about all i know.
(One thing I can remember in particular or something that my head is making up is that i believe the two had a matching necklace, I dont quite remember but i believe it was a wooden sculpture of an owl)

• I have been roleplaying since 2012. Yes, I got experience under my belt, and yes, my ideas usually have really long reads, but don't let that scare you off! 5: if you don't know how to share ideas, then don't bother messaging me. I'm tired of carrying the story when the other person doesn't help. If you've got ideas, then PLEASE speak up! Your opinion on the roleplay matters too! I'm an easy going person, and easy to get along with (dispite my rules).
6: DO NOT control my character. I control what she says, does, hears, sees, ect. I don't control yours, so don't control mine. HOWEVER, if it's highly necessary and needed, then run it by me first and ask me. Just leave me some wiggle room so I can make a decent response. Failure to comply by this rule, results in immediate drop of the rp.

Yes, I've updated my rules just a tad. I do not care if it makes me sound mean or rude, because I'm neither of these things. I'm just tired of putting these rules down for a specific reason and they go ignored because I can tell when someone hasn't read them, and lied about it. I'm just trying to get my point across and roleplay. I'm a very easy going person who loves to make friends on the side (which I've somewhat given up on making friends...only a selective few have actually gained my friendship).

I (24f) used to date this guy who basically saw me as a damsel. I didn’t have my license, lived in government housing, etc. I did have a good job and was saving up. I had the money, but I was trying to find a place with decent rent. He was practically given everything. Both of his parents have good jobs and he even faced DUI charges and was able to bounce back from it since his mom married a lawyer. His grandma owned the property he lived on, which was a tiny shed turned into a house. All he had to pay were the utilities and property tax. That’s basically it. He truly didn’t know how good he had it to have that kind of support. He’s had so many things just handed to him.
He uses Reddit so there’s a possibility he will see this. Despite me being a single mom now (which I’m sure he judges me for), I have my own place, my own car, and I’m now 3 years clean. I’m not sure if he still struggles with alcohol like he used to, or the pill usage he doesn’t know I’m aware of, but I can honestly say I worked a lot harder for this. I’d love to rub in his face that I made it. He only ever doubted me and I’m doing great.

My income every month is around 1,000 dollars. This includes my weekly paychecks (part time job, I did just get a raise tho!) and 50 dollar checks I receive every week from a program I’m in.
My rent is much lower than usual bc of the government assistance (I would not be able to afford housing otherwise) but because I don’t make that much still eats up considerable money in my bank account. My monthly internet bill is 50 dollars. I spend around 150 on gas a month.
In addition to the government assistance I’m also on food stamps which I’m thankful for. I’m in college right now (not sure what I really wanna do though :/ ) and don’t know if I could handle working anymore than I do currently and also attending full-time like I do.
I’m 20 and I moved out when I was 19, and so far I feel I spend most of my money irresponsibly- buying fast food/cool stuff/fancy drinks when I feel sad or bad about myself or my life. It’s a terrible cycle because doing this makes me feel even worse and then I do it some more.
I want to eventually be able to have my own car. I guess I just don’t see a clear path on how to get there. As in I don’t know what the first step is I just know I need to save my money more. I don’t really have a budget and am not sure how to create one that works for me.
I’m looking for simple and practical ways to take steps towards buying my own car and being able to afford car insurance on my limited income. I do have someone who could co-sign for me because currently I have 0 credit. I need to open a bank account at Empower but I don’t have the courage to do it myself so I’m gonna ask one of my older siblings to help me :)
Another financial goal is to eventually get off of government assistance and live in complete financial independence. But that feels more unattainable right now than saving for a car.

I just bought Aeterna Noctis on sale. I'm not the biggest fan of combat in this kind of games but I absolutely love platforming and puzzles, which is what offers the hard mode but I don't really want harder fights, I just want to enjoy the puzzles and platforming. It says that I can change the difficulty throughout the game, so should I play in normal, in hard or put it on hard and change it to normal in combat sections? Also, if there are any tips for beginners I should know, I'd appreciate it if you let me know.

Apologies if this gets asked all the time or I missed a resource before I posted. Really just want to get some perspective from others on if this is a bad idea.
My partner and I are looking to purchase our first multifamily building and have found a place we both really like. Four doors. It's a double lot (one is empty), ~$1200 cash flow positive per month with 15% down and long term tenants. It's in an ok area, but would need ~$200-250K of work, mainly, new electrical, likely new plumbing, and a new HVAC system. Technically we don't have to do any of this work, but the current set up isn't super safe (lots of space heaters) and we're worried about liability. Outside of those big three, there's also some dry-wall that needs to get replaced, but would just get replaced when we did everything else. Rents are also all under market. We can also easily cover the mortgage ourselves if we ever had an issue getting tenants. Pretty much indefinitely.
There's a main house and a couch house, each with two units, so part of our idea is that we could upgrade one building and then the other, and don't necessarily need to do everything at once. We can also build another two-flat on the empty lot (it's zoned appropriately). We are very comfortable doing all the cosmetic work ourselves (drywall, paint, tiling, etc.), but would definitely need to hire people for the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Does this sound like a terrible idea? Am I missing any considerations?
