I love to eat out it was what got me to the weight I was. After some weight loss I thought I’d get comfortable or get use to making food at home. Becoming an ingredient household fucking sucks, I hate it more than I hated being bigger. This is the part about weight loss that no one talks about. How happy I felt as fat but now how miserable I feel as less fat, eating better hasn’t made me feel better or more comfortable. Just more aware of my skin and how it looks in clothes. How I have come to realize that for the rest of my life if I want to be “socially acceptable”, for doctors to take my pain seriously, to not worry about traveling I will have to be this miserable for the rest of my life. To weigh everything in order to not gain. Week after vacation and I just can’t get back into my routine I had. This sucks I hate it, I feel forever behind the curb

2023.05.28 18:11 Apprehensive_Ring_39 Hot take,I feel like the excuse of "Let him cook" can get really annoying and cause it's constantly said so many times to any sort of criticism/issue people have with the story.
Like maybe that excuse would've worked maybe in the first or middle arcs but this is the final arc/final saga ,Like the time for cooking is done and it's time for the start off of Character arc payoffs and such.
It's also equally annoying when they say "Oh,if you don't like the story,why are you reading it"?
That's like 2 completely different things.
Having issues/critiques with how a story is done/going is much different from flat out not liking it.
I think my issues with JJk now is the fact that Sukuna possessed/has been taking control of Megumi and its just pointless since the only purpose is really to give Sukuna a power-up ( cause Yeah,the main villain needs a power-boost,that makes sense.)
Plus,I'm getting overall tired of seeing Sukuna in Megumi's body and its even more tiring cause Megumi resisted once and then Gege had to ensure he would stay out of the story.
It also really doesn't help that Yorozu is just such a cringe character and really only a plot device to show how "O.P" and "Badass" Sukuna is.
(Plus the incest between them was even weirder).
I would've have minded Megumi's sister being killed if there was actual buildup to that moment but we don't know much about her,only that she was important to Megumi.)
She felt more like a plot device to be killed.
Maybe if Gege also had Megumi keep resisting and fighting back but Nope,
That's how we're gonna treat our Deuteragonist.
(Imaging if in Naruto,Sasuke got possessed and taken over by Orochimaru for the final arc,so Killua got possessed by a force later on in the last arc,wouldn't be good.)
It also is a pain how all Yuji does at this point is basically get tortured and traumatized all the damn time.
Maybe if all this was actually worth something in the end/or actually building up to something,I wouldn't mind but nope,
Yuji is basically nothing but a trauma sponge.
(When are we gonna get the peak yuji that was in the mahito fight, Like dude is basically also immensely underprepared for the final fight (considering he has no simple domain,Domain expansion,etc,)
I'm not even asking for him to become the strongest or chosen one but just give him something rather than intense punches and kicks.
(It also doesn't help that Sukuna constantly mocks him and that never changes,even in the final arc,Sukuna just mocks him,that never changes,it's almost embarrassing.)
Either Gege doesn't want to or just doesn't flat out care.
He's had good character growth but Gege really needs to start doing something with him.
Also,the lack of emotional investment/attachment i have with this arc and characters seeing how we're immediately rushing to the most hyped fight in the series, (Gojo vs Sukuna)and we don't have time to even breathe or have build-up.
That's the issue,Gege is not giving us a chance to even breathe and prepare.

It seems like unity's "==" does not properly compare references (unless I'm dumb).
Here, I have this piece of script :

So ive been taking olanzapine(zyprexa 10 mg) ever since they let me out of the mental asylum. I tried different medicine and this stopped my psycosis the best way and it didn't have as bad of side effects as the others.
The doctor warned me about weight gain,but i was tired of the side effects so i decided to try olanzapine. So instead of feeling constantly agitated(aripriprizol i think) i am now constantly hungry(olanzapine). And now i am fat.
Its a big deal for me. My mom,the doctor said i should get a gym membership but i don't want muscles. I want my body to look like a woman,because thats how i identify.
What can i do? I know it could be worse,but i see all this other women and they look so cute and i don't. Please help.
i also have to do hard work at work and that gets me even hungrier and i feel like if i don't eat i might pass out at work.

Primary Symptoms: Hairloss, Hiruitisim, (and one point acne but I did a round of accutane and have been fine on that front).. I noticed all of these started to develop around 3 years ago.) . Never had issues with my period until this past year and even still it was just a few episodes of very light spotting between cycles.
I just had bloodwork done and my Labs came back fine..
BUT my doctor pointed out that I'm in this weird grey zone with DHEA (136). He said Above 200 is definite PCOS.. and below 100 is definitely not... but because I'm at 136 and my primary concerns.. he said I wasn't his only patient struggling with it but admitted we were a group he wasn't sure how to help. It would really just be trial and error with various treatments.
Spironolactone wasn't effective.
He mentioned a potential cause of something being converted too quickly... Does anyone know what that or other causes could be and how I should go about methodically trying to figure out the cause and proper treatment? I don't want to do anything that just slaps a bandaid on the symptom..(which I admittedly felt like spiro was trying to do)... I want to treat it.. holistically. (I also don't want to be on a med that suppresses the symptom while at the same time destroying something else like my heart or liver)
As of right now I'm adjusting my vitamin supplements and going to try Saw Palmetto... if that dosn't work what should I try next? Isn't finastride technically the the same as Saw palmetto?

Maybe I’ve taken many pregnancy tests I’m not pregnant I don’t know why all the sudden my period has stopped when I was actively using. So just some background info, I had a baby 6 months ago . During my pregnancy I gained 112 pounds . None of the doctors seemed concerned about that. Pre pregnancy I was around 130-140 . At the end of my pregnancy I was 247.6 pounds . And I had my baby early… 3 weeks early so who knows how much bigger I would of gotten. I immediately lost about 23 pounds of that just from baby ,fluids, and placenta weight. Over the next three months I got down to 199.
Now to clarify it took a lot of changes just to get down to this weight. I was eating in a calorie deficit of about 1500-1700 calories depending on activity level . I cut out processed food completely. Just whole foods. I upped my water intake and I don’t exercise at the gym HOWEVER that’s because my job is very physically demanding I mean getting 10,000 or more steps in one shift lots of squatting and lifting . Every shift I work I am sweating for 8 hours straight . I work 30 hours a week. I also get plenty of sleep about 7 hours or more a night . I only have one baby and a very supportive helpful husband so getting sleep has been no issue.
I didn’t mind that it took me all of that to lose the little amount of weight I did in that three months . I’m patient and self discipline is not an issue for me.
BUT Fast forward it is another 3 months later and I’m still at 199. I’m doing all the same things I’ve been doing. Nothing is budging . I got to a point of so much desperation that I tried intermittent fasting . I did the 16:8 fast. At first this seemed to work I got down to 196 but my weight has gone up to 199 and it’s been days so doesn’t seem like a weight fluctuation. During my 8 hour window I focused on lots of protein and still staying in my calorie deficit . I ate things like chicken, salmon, nuts, eggs, yogurt, some fruit. And no I did not overeat.
I’m at a loss of what to do . I understand that postpartum weight loss takes time and that it can be slow, but I’m 6 months out now it’s been 3 months of nothing and this seems excessive. I’m just not sure what else I could do . I’m wondering if now would be a good time to seek a doctor for help but also concerned I won’t be taken seriously or they’ll just tell me to do one of the things I’ve already been doing.
Edit: I’d like to add that I’ve been taking measurements too not just using the scale to monitor progress and my lost in inches has also stalled.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed at the cookie cutter advice given for makeup? I don’t even need to ask advice. I already know that it will be “you have to do skin prep! It won’t work without skinprep! (Assuming that no one does skinprep at this point seems kinda patronizing). “Put your blush higher! It’s more flattering!”… no it isn’t for everyone. “You’re just not applying it right!” You have to bounce you beauty blender or some other super basic thing that everyone already knows. We all saw the Tiktoks. Also everyone always recommending pink when people ask advice. Y’all know pink isn’t flattering on everyone right? Just cause you like a color doesn’t mean it’s good for everyone. If you don’t have specific advice that is relevant to the question, maybe just sit this one out.

I used to get them all the time when I was a child . I don’t know the last time I had one.
I think I’m curious about is what caused it .
I haven’t gone swimming recently , they didn’t even test me for strep I don’t feel like I have a sinus infection, and no fever
I also just had a general feeling of not well yesterday - and they put me on Augmentin and prednisone.
Can ear infections just randomly show up? Or is there an underlying cause that I need to figure out?

I’ve bought my new monitor less then a year ago and during the last month it started acting out. The monitor in question is AOC 24G2U.
Everything worked fine up until now. I am using a dual monitor setup ever since and it hasn’t presented any issues.
Right now I am unable to alter the resolution from the native 1980 x 1080p because the monitor “stops working”. It does’t turn off and it doesn’t lose video input. I can still move my mouse across but the cursor doesn’t show up, it’s just a black screen, and not a black screen as if the monitor was turned off, but instead you can clearly see it’s turned on but it’s black.
Factors other than changing the monitors resolution that cause this issue include:
-if i change windows multiple display settings from “extend these displays” to anything else
So far all of these could be replicated with ease and it caused the issue everytime. The reason why I think the monitor is the cause of the problem is because if the problem happened, even if I unplugged the monitor from the PC it was still broken (the AOC logo appears everytime you turn on the monitor but instead you get the black screen), and plugging it in to a different PC wouldn’t fix it.
The only “fix” I’ve found that works for the most part is to unplug it from the PC and from the power outlet, and let it rest for like 10 minutes or so.

I know I have a bad relationship with food. I eat a lot for comforting myself from unpleasant emotions due to chronic/complex PTSD and then feel a ton of shame about eating unhealthy afterwards. My weight fluctuates in a 10 lb range from I'm borderline overweight/obese. I lose, I gain, I lose. I feel like crap. What type of eating disorder is this? I lose by just eating healthier and gain by just over-eating junk food. I'm hoping having a label will help me tackle the problem. I've sort of been in denial about it. Doing EMDR to tackle the chronic PTSD, but feel like that will take a few years of EMDR to resolve. What can I do for my relationship with food? What helps/doesn't help?

Does anyone have a line on long lasting hot end fans? They are wearing out like once every three months. Every time it fails heat creep causes a jam. I also noticed they slowly fail over time and this leads to reduced airflow and increased heat creep. I added another fan which I power up when the heat creep gets too bad, but it's a bit ridiculous. The logical thing to do is have a decent fan in there to begin with.
The power supply fan and the hot end centrifugal fan for cooling the plastic after deposition seems to be fine.

So, my N father recently retired from the practice of law. He’s always been relentlessly critical and judgmental, but it’s gotten worse than ever bc now he has time to over communicate regarding whatever opinion he’s urging on me, trying to persuade me to agree to avoid triggering N injury.
One example is he tells me that I look old (10+ years older than my true age) when wearing a beard. So I finally sent a note drawing a boundary over discussing my physical appearance. I was extremely careful with tone and closed it with a loving expression. I didn’t expect it to be well received, given that he’s a N. True to form, it quickly turned into him telling me to cease communications with him.
Here’s what he wrote:

I admit that I do not really understand your reaction to my comment that shaving your beard made you look younger; to us. You did send us a photo, that seemed to invite a comment. When I launch some games my ENTIRE PC will stutter and barely be responsive. I know this has to be an issue specifically with my PC as these issues do not happen on my laptop with the same games. It is 100% consistent if a game triggers it. Once the game is loaded there are no issues. It does seem to occur randomly elsewhere and cause issues with alt tabbing as well.

I (23 female) have been seeing this guy for a while now and recently he moved in with a couple that are his best friends. One day during the week I went over to his house and met the wife(friend) for like .2 seconds as she said “hey, nice to meet you” and walked away. That weekend I was invited to the house again which was approved by the couple because the wife’s cousin’s wedding was happening that day. I wasn’t going there for the wedding just to see this guy but I didn’t just wanna go over in sweats so I dressed up since there was a ton of people. The wedding was over and people were just hanging out and celebrating by the time I got there. I had hey dudes, jeans, and a black silk shit that showed some cleavage. As soon as I walked into the house where the wife was(second time meeting her) she said “Nice to see you again” then looked at the guy I’m seeing and pointed at me and said “she needs to go put on a different shirt”. I told her I wasn’t going to do that since I wanna wear what I wanna wear and I didn’t have an extra shirt since he lives 30min away. She then said “well you either need to put on a different shirt of go hide in his room”. They had been kicking a bunch of people out of the wedding for what they were wearing but NEVER had a dress code in place which I would have followed if there was one! I looked at her and said I would rather leave because I felt beautiful in what I was wearing and she was making me feel terrible. I cried forever cause I hate how I look and when someone attacks that when I feel good about myself it hurts. By the end of the night the guy I was seeing said he was on my side and it wasn’t right but now it’s different. The reason of them kicking people out was that the bride had gained weight and had to get a different dress so she didn’t wanna feel bad about herself. This weekend I went up to the camp site that his friends were staying at to hopefully smooth things over but no one said one word to me the whole time. Yesterday as I was talking the the guy I’m seeing he said that I wasn’t trying hard enough and that she’s tried to reach out after the incident on Facebook but that i denied her request. FALSE she sent that request before I met her the first time and it’s still in my friend requests. I like to meet people before I accept them so I was waiting. The guy I’m seeing then said to text her and reach out to make things better but I don’t wanna Facebook message apology. I don’t wanna text her number first either I feel like I would be begging for one. I told him she could’ve talked to me in person up at camp or I would give her my number so she can call me. She doesn’t wanna contact me first it sounds like she wants me to reach out to her via text through her number or Facebook. When you really wanna apologize to someone you will reach out right??? So I don’t wanna have to beg for an apology from her. So AITA?
