I have integrated older pullets (16 weeks +) into my flock once before and had zero issues. This time I decided to raise chicks for the first time. They are 7 weeks old so I’m am thinking of integrating them into the flock in the next week or so (we live in the South and the weather is nice and warm here). I had the chicks spend some time penned off in the run yesterday to see how my hens would react and they came up to see them at first but then ignored them after a first look and the pullets wanted to get out of the pen and into the big run with the hens. Everyone (chicks and hens) are vaccinated given that my hens didn’t seem too interested in the pullets should I just put them all together?

After I obtained my Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) license, the nurses at the hospital I just started working at have been making me sit with the patients who need a constant observer for most of my shift. I've never had to babysit patients before, so this experience was brand new to me. Last night, I was assigned to watch this 62-year-old lady who's a fall risk and has a tendency to get up out of bed and walk out the door because she thinks her friend is coming to take her home. I explained to her MULTIPLE times that she needed to stay in bed because of all the worst-case scenarios that could happen if she tried to get up and walk. The first time she did under my watch she almost fell but I was there to catch her. She didn't seem to care that she almost did and continued getting up as the shift progressed. So naturally I had to be by her side most of the time. She thought I was trying to get frisky with her since I'm a male CNA and called me a fucking pervert. Again, I explained to her that I was only there by her side to make sure she didn't fall and hurt herself. The message went right over her head. Just when my shift was about to end, she, all of a sudden, believed her friend was on their way to pick her up from the hospital and she got up out of bed to get dressed. I told her if she could wait in her bed for them to come even though I knew no one was coming but she insisted on getting up anyway. She had an IV in her arm and I told she couldn't walk or risk having it torn out. She ended up pulling apart the tube that connected the IV to the machine as retaliation and started walking. I wasn't sure if I should've used excessive force to keep her in bed, but I knew if I continued to push her further, she was going to hit me or bite me for sure. Also, she could've accused me of abuse to her nurse and family and I was not in the mood for that either. She ended up sitting in my chair until the nurses came to deal with her, and I went home. I'm not exactly sure how to handle a situation when it escalates like that, so any and all tips would be much appreciated.

I have reloaded my save a billion times to try to get a massive club like Barca or Bayern go pick me up but I keep getting Benfica or RCD Espanyol. I have entered acceptance and now I have a question. Which one would be realistically be the better club to get my name out for bigger clubs and give me opportunity’s to win trophies. Which CLUB gets looked at as higher prestige.
For example I could Fuckin ball out in allsvensken and win the league but it isn’t looked at the same as being an above average striker in EPL or La Liga(For reference my character is 26 Y and 83 overall.)
Benfica will be contending to go to champions league in the game and I was wondering if Benfica is more recognized throughout Europe than being a really good player on an average La Liga team (in my save at least).
Here is the general idea. Go to Benfica and have chance at trophy’s and be one of the best strikers in the league OR go to RCD and be a solid striker in the higher prestige league. Which one will get me more recognition of higher clubs.

As for mine, it was chosen for me when I registered the account. I've grown to like it, though; I think of myself as a champion, and maybe one who could graduate to a Gold Champion with time.

A and i broke up in february but K told me she was getting messages from A about how distraught she was over the breakup and we got back together. the facetime thing started to be more and more of an issue for me and 2 weeks agoi told her if she ever wants to meet she would have to facetime me because no way is anybody in my life going to go let me meet up with someone i’ve never facetimed. and she wouldn’t do it. she would break down crying and i understood but i told her that we shouldn’t be together because facetime is a need for me. we flirted for a little and then we stopped talking for a few days. yesterday i texted her and saw i was blocked. K had been texting me and i called her and i noticed how much her voice sounded like A’s (which i had noticed before but brushed off because they had different phone numbers ) and so finally i checked the area code on her phone number. it wasn’t a Canadian one it was a florida area code which is where K lives. i gently and calmly told K that she needed to tell me if she was A and that we could figure it out and discuss it. eventually she told me that her and her best friend had been catfishing me. her best friend, A was doing sexual things with me and sexting and sending nudes and she was the one sending videos and pics of her face. however K was the one calling me for hours daily and texting me. she told me occasionally A would text me because they had a shared imessage account. i’m sick to my stomach. i blocked them both. how do i move on? how do i cope?

I’ve been watching pro-matches for some time now, but I still can’t understand why is it in high MMR, teams tend to first phase cores? They’re willing to allow their cores, even Pos1 and Pos2, to maybe get counter picked. Is it because they want those counter picks to come out and play into their game plan? But even if so, doesn’t that mean that core gets a tough match anyway? I get that the bans reduce their chances of getting counter picked, but you can’t ban all their counters. So is it that they want to play against a certain counter(s), because those counters will be ineffective against their game plan? I’ve even seen sometimes a support getting final pick in certain games. Thanks in advance!

My parents recently separated and I live at my dads. Me and my parents never had a close or smooth relationship, so I never really felt the need to be close to them. So when my mom moved out and got an apartment, I barely saw her anymore just because I honestly didn’t have the energy for her. She’s a pretty negative person and would kinda pick on me often. So now I eat dinner with her every Monday and Wednesday so that we stay in contact, but lately every time I showed any sign of being tired or just not interested in whatever was happening she’d go “I’ll just drive you home since you clearly don’t want to be here” WTF?? am I just tweaking or is this an insensitive thing to say? I try to have a good time with her but she always comments things like that..

I've been friends with her for a long time, I dont know whether I'm overreacting but I've been finding it difficult to talk to her lately. She's incredibly insecure, and needs constant validation. No matter how much she get though, she won't believe it and can get upset.
Couple recent incidents, there's more - when I went to go visit college friends she sent me a message saying it was suspicious I didn't tell her and asked whether I preferred my college friends or my hometown friends -we organised a trip to the city for a day, but one girl had to pull out as she couldn't afford it. Friend went nuts, accused her of not wanting to hang out anymore, told her she was "taking advantage of her kindness" and that she had let the whole group down. The girl who had to cancel was in tears by the end of it. - she bought up that I talk a lot about my job with another friend when shes there and felt excluded from the conversation. I said I saw her point and will watch out for it in future. She then told me "but I guess it's okay if you want to keep talking about it, I know you prefer friend X over me because I'm not a likeable person". I then had to spend the rest of the night validating her
None of this is meaness on her part, I know it comes from a place of deep insecurity. I just don't know if I have the energy for it anymore. We are 24 years old for God's sake, I feel like this is playground stuff. We've tried to bring it up with her before but she gets very upset and won't hear it, accusing us of hating her.
I dont know what the best thing to do is. This has been going on years and I'm really feeling disillusioned with the friendship. But if I go, she has no one, shes lost so many friends over the years. Or am I being way too mean and overreacting

My new job (below minimum wage and fast food) has been sending me home hours before my shift ends because we’ve been slow or because “labor is expensive”. Normally I wouldn’t mind this as I hate fast food jobs, but I really need the money/hours. I’m new like I said so I’m not even fully trained, I just feel there should be SOMETHING I can do, be it cleaning, learning or just helping. Is there anything I can say next time to maybe curb this problem?

Can someone explain this to me? Is there an optimal time to use the deduction or does it not matter and I should just use as much of it as I can in a given year?

One of my earliest memories of my father was him pushing my mom out of the house and telling her to never come back and she stayed out their with me and my older brother until he let her back in. He was gone most of the year because he worked overseas but even when he was home he was always so mean and angry. I remember one time he wanted me to talk to his sister on the phone and being a 12 year old I told him I didn’t feel like it and he took off his shoe and hit me in the face so hard my ears started to ring and then he asks again “ do you want to talk to her” and I did crying. He was never supportive never said an encouraging word. When I was 17 I was really into football and I was training to try out for the school team and I was better then most kids at school but this man never told me I could do it. He always said I was weak and pathetic. That I was too skinny , not fast enough or not strong enough. There was always something wrong. Even when I managed to do good in school he would look at the report card and say where’s the real one? The most ironic thing is now that he is getting old he expects me to care about him, expects me to walk him down the stairs and take him to his doctors appointment. He has been trying to worm his way into my finances but I’ll cut him off soon enough. Thank you for reading

She really shows how much of a hypocrite she can be. I’m watching S3E6 and she’s complaining how Chloe hasn’t started her solo and they are running out of time. Holly basically tells her that’s how Abby is and Christi snaps at her then in confession is like of course Holly will stick up for Abby, Nia’s solo is done… but if it was Chloe who was getting the attention and another mom complaining that their child’s solo wasn’t done, Christi would be like well be lucky so and so even has a solo.
Like i really do like Christi, but she shows her true colors a lot and sometimes she’s not any better than Melissa when it comes to their kid having the best treatment. And i guess to an extent all the moms are like that. But she really makes her hypocrisy known when Chloe gets put on the back burner. It’s not like Chloe got the most solo’s in the show after Maddie. So what if she wasn’t the priority this week. She’ll have a solo next week.
Also i know she’s playing a role, i listen to BTTB. But still it’s so hard to feel for someone when they say something when it doesn’t effect them then sing a different tune when it does.
