Chris: Yeah, yeah whatever. Begin ladies.
Sayaka: [to herself] Here goes nothing. Please don't let me die of embarrassment.
[Sayaka begins to sing one of most popular songs]
Makoto: Oh, I love this one.
Kaede: Makoto, focus on the piano keys please. We're still not ready yet.
[Sayaka starts to dance around the stage]
Chris: Yes, pretty good, though I have no idea what those words mean.
Chef: Seems to be a one woman show so far.
Miu: Don't you worry because this shows about to heat up thanks to me! [she aims her invention]
Chris: Dakota...what exactly is that going to do?
Miu: Don't blink! [She fires at Sayaka as her body erupts into light and smoke. She can still be heard singing. Her old clothes are blown away against the backdrop]

Chris: Well, while I couldn't understand any of the words being sung, I will say I did appreciate the theatrics of it all.
Chef: Though, I could've done without all the girl's clothes strewn everywhere.
Chris: We give it a 4 each so an 8/10 for the Narwhals. Not a bad start. Rhinos are up next with Sugar, Katie, and Geoff.
Gundham: Are you sure you can handle knives?
Peko: Of course, like he said they're just tiny swords right…
Hiyoko: You just better not hit me! *Deep breath* Let's do this.
[The music begins and Hiyoko begins dancing her traditional Japanese dance]
Chris: Again with the Japanese songs. You don't see us going around playing songs that scream we're Canadian.
Hiyoko: Just shut up and pay attention!
Chef: I'm a little curious what the hamster boy is doing over there.
Kazuichi: Okay Peko, you're up. Just aim for the spots Mukuro already hit in the backdrop.
Peko: Very well. [She throws the first knife. It flies past Hiyoko but not without her having to dodge a bit]
Hiyoko: I said watch it, you klutz!
Peko: I got this, okay…[throws three more all just barely hitting their mark and missing Hiyoko]
Chris: Okay extreme traditional dancing huh? Not bad…
Gundham: Go now my Dark Devas! [Maga-Z and San-D make it onto two of the knives and start posing. Cham-P slumps onto the lower knife as Jum-P springs off of him onto the higher one.]
Chef: Interesting use of the little rodents.
Kazuichi: Okay Peko, bring it home with a few more.
Peko: Wait, where do I throw them?
Kazuichi: Um…I don't know Mukuro was just going to throw them to give more platforms for Gundham's hamsters to dance around on but we didn't get that far in practice. Just anywhere I guess.
Peko: Alright….[to herself] just don't hit Hiyoko or the hamsters. Hgghh!! [She throws the next knife and it flies to much to the right, slicing the sleeve of Hiyoko's kimono]
Hiyoko: Ahh! My sleeve! [The knife sails passed and straight towards Cham-P. He tries to jump out of the way and ends up falling off the knife and sending it clattering to the ground. This sends the rest of the Devas in a panic as they leap off the backdrop and onto Hiyoko] AGGHHH! No, get off me you filthy rats!
Sonia: Hiyoko, be careful don't hurt them!
Hiyoko: No stop! Get out of there!!! [She tries to keep dancing but is convulsing around, continuing until the music finally stops] *pant* *pant* [Her kimono tattered and loose from flailing so much, the Devas climb their way out and run back to Gundham]
Gundham: Be still my Devas, everything is alright now.
Hiyoko: Uggghhhh!!! Your stupid hamsters ruined my performance!!
Chris: *ahem* Well it definitely wasn't good. What do you think, Chef?
Chef: I liked the part with the knife throwing around the little brat. But other than that it's a two for me.
Chris: A two for me as well. So that leaves the Rhinos with a final score of 4/10. Octopi you're up next.
Peko: I'm sorry, I guess I'm not the best at knife throwing.
Aoi: Don't worry, Peko, we don't blame you. When we lose we know exactly who to blame.
Byakuya: I wonder who you could be referring to.
Hiyoko: Can I vote Gundham's stupid hamsters off the island instead!?
Gundham: Over my mortal body.
[Cut to the Octopi backstage still trying to work out their instruments]
Chris: [off camera] Come on, Octopi. Hurry up, we don't have all day.
Kaede: No, we can't do this, they're not ready.
Akane: Look on the bright side we probably can't fail worse than the Rhinos.
Kaede: I know but it's still going to be pretty embarrassing. Byakuya's right it's impossible to expect anyone to match our talent this quickly.
Taka: Wait, Kaede, that's it. We just need to reverse that thinking. Instead of them matching you two, how about you two match them?
Ibuki: Um, Izzy's a little confused at what you mean about that, Topher.
Taka: Listen up you two [whispers to Kaede and Ibuki]
Kaede: Huh, oh…oh my that might actually work.
Ibuki: Absolutely, we can make this rock hard!
Makoto: Wait, you didn't tell us what you're even doing.
Taka: There's no need. You two just go up on stage and play like you normally do.
Nagito: So poorly?
Taka: The girls will handle the rest and let your luck carry us to victory. Now go, Chris is waiting!
[Cut back to Chris and Chef at the judge table]
Chris: Finally, it seems like the Octopi are ready. Looks like we have a musical performance by Sky, Cody, Harold, and Izzy. Should be interesting at least.
[Stage opens with Makoto on the piano and Nagito on the bass guitar. Both begin playing simple melodies still rather amateurly]
Chef: This is the best they can come up with when it comes to talent?
Chris: I know, I feel like I'm back at my middle school talent show.
[Suddenly Ibuki bursts onto the stage shredding her guitar to Nagito's melody but in a way where it blends in with hers.]
Chef: Huh, that doesn't sound half bad. Could do without the piano though.
[Then Kaede slides in next to Makoto and does a musical scale matching the simple keys Makoto's playing]
Chris: Woah, what the?
[The stage immediately erupts into a complete harmony of guitar and piano. It turns into a rock ballad as Ibuki's guitar takes center stage only giving a moment to breathe as Nagito plays his simple melody as a solo and Ibuki takes back over]
Akane: This is actually working!
[Next Kaede takes center stage as her fingers dance gracefully over the keys purposely missing the notes that Makoto's melody is satisfying and taking the moment final moments to play one of her favorite classical pieces]
Chef: *sniff* It's beautiful.
[The grand finale has Ibuki and Kaede do a musical showdown, each playfully hitting back at each other with their own song. At one point stopping their playing to let Nagito and Makoto play their tunes against each other before finally jumping back in and finishing the set off with a big loud cacophony of noise. Ending on a complete silence after Kaede does one final slam on the keys and Ibuki one final power chord.]
Ibuki: Oh yeah, how was that for you!
[Octopi burst into applause and cheers. The four performers take a bow.]
Chris: I've got to admit that was mighty impressive. To not only blend guitar and piano but also those two's terrible playing is, dare I say it, extremely talented. It's a five for me.
Chef: *sniff* Huh, what?! Oh yeah a five from me as well. Man, that piano song reminded me of my childhood with Mama. What was that again…Debut…no Daberry?
Kaede: That was Debussy. It's one of my favorites.
Chef: Yeah, that was it! Man, that brings back memories.
Chris: Well I have to say it looks like we have a clear winner with a perfect 10/10 the Octopi win this competition. Of course we still have the Lions left. While I doubt they can match that we'll see if they at least don't come in dead last. It can't be any worse than the Rhinos, am I right?
[Cut to Lions backstage]
Mahiru: Well, Chihiro, are you able to fix it?
Chihiro: Sorry, film cameras aren't really my specialty. I'm going to need more time and maybe some help from Miu.
Kaito: Great, then who's going to perform with Angie and Nekomaru now?
Mondo: We still have Kirumi, right? She said she’d be of assistance.
Angie: Never fear Tyler and Brick. For Atua has answered my calls for help and has determined that Mike shall be our new performer, Nyahahahah!
Hajime: What, me?!
Angie: But of course, Atua senses great power inside you, and so you'll be perfect. Plus you must have great trust in Atua. More So than Tyler.
Hajime: But I…what am I supposed to do?

Hajime: [to himself] Dear Atua, please no.
[The strange dance continues of tools being thrown and just as quickly discarded, as Angie works faster building up her mud creation until finally it looked to be completed]
Chris: Hold on a sec…….
Angie: Aaaaannnnd…Wah Lah! How do you like it, Chris? [Angie turns to reveal a life size sculpture of Chris smiling down at his human counterpart]
Chris: It's beautiful! That's an immediate five from me! This is going to make a fabulous camp centerpiece.
Hajime: *pant* *pant* Are-are we done?
Kaito: I think we actually won this.
Kokichi: Of course, haven't you seen any underdog story? You always come from behind and claim victory.
Angie: Hmmm….ah not quite yet. Atua has shown me one more improvement. Lightning, I need a pretty rock over there by the seashore. Hurry, before the sculpture hardens.
Nekomaru: You got it!!!
Hajime: *pant* W-wait, Angie. I think we've done enough, we really shouldn't push it.
Angie: Nonsense Mike, Atua has spoken that this masterpiece will not be complete without it.
Hajime: B-but-
Nekomaru: I GOT IT! HAJIME, HEADS UP!!! [He launches the rock straight at the stage]

[Hajime stumbles backwards from the impact and bumps into the sculpture, ultimately knocking it over and smashing on the ground]
Kokichi: Ooooh, that's not how those stories go. Maybe they really are fictional lies.
Kaito: Go Kirumi. [He pushes her on stage as she calmly walks over and begins cleaning up the rumble]
Hajime: Ugghhh. I've *cough* got it.
Angie: Oh my! On second thought it probably wouldn't have helped anyway. Chris seems different now.
Chris:................
Kaito: So uh Chef. You heard Chris. He already gave us a five so how about you?
Chef: Well it is impressive but ultimately you didn't have coordination to work as a team but I'd still give a three. Mostly for the maid girl's diligence.
Mondo: So, that still gives us an eight tied with the Narwhals then?
Chris: Nope! Uh uh, I retract my rating! For building up my hopes and dreams, and firmly crushing it. You get a Zero! Lions I'll be seeing you at the campfire ceremony immediately! Actually…let me mourn my losses first.
Angie: Well, this is not how Atua saw this going at all, but a very impressive display, Mike.
Hajime: Uh, yeah sure.
[Cut to the campfire ceremony]
Chris: Lions, you know why you're here. So let's just get this over with! In fact you probably already know who the bottom three are so in order is Cameron, Tyler, Brick, Blaineley and Courtney. You're all safe. [The donuts are chucked at them]
Mondo: Woah, watch the hair, man!
Chris: Celeste, Max, and Trent are also safe with one vote each.
Ryoma: Wait, someone actually voted for me? [He looks over at Celeste]

I need advice on my relationship
I am f 16, and my boyfriend is m 16. We've been together for about 3 weeks, and in the beginning it was perfect, he would buy me flowers and take me out on dates but that didn't last long. Once we made things official, he just lost all interest, he wont message me anymore or reply. It started last Thursday, i went out to celebrate my birthday with a friend but i still took time out of my day to make sure he was ok, i also kept looking for a gift to by him. However, it turns out he went out with friends and suddenly i wasn't a priority (he said this) at all. I asked him why he didn't just send a quick message beforehand and his excuse was that he doesn't go on his phone while out with people, even though he was on Instagram throughout the day, and when we go out he sits replying to his friends.
It just kept getting worse after this and eventually he admitted that he treated his ex better, which just shattered my heart because all i want to do is to make him happy, i took time out of my birthday to search for a gift for him to make him happy but he couldnt even message me that he was busy.
It all just makes me feel like a burden to him instead of his girlfriend, and i know i shouldnt be as upset as i am because were only a few weeks in, but he used to say all these loving things and call me beautiful but now he wont even message me goodnight. We had a convo last night and it go to the point i was physically ill because of how i felt, and i eventually gave up and just agreed to him messaging me when he wants and i only get to message if its important. But im just not happy anymore and i dont have the strength to end things, i still want to believe all of his promises but i know theyll just end up as lies.

Q: Are colorfes cards limited?A: Yes, but all the previous fes cards will be included in the gacha pool every colorfes event. Although it is important to note that the chance of pulling them will be minuscule. However, if you're on en/tw/kr the 2nd anni will allow you to pick one colorfes card as a rate up (only includes ichimiku, kanamafu and haruai iirc)
Q: What are limited and permanent cards?
A: Limited cards appear at the end of every month. Their main selling point is a) you will only be able to get these cards in their respective gacha/rerun and b) they come with a hairstyle (which requires 4000 wish pieces/2 wish jewels to unlock). Permanent cards are available in EVERY gacha pool though as they won't be rate ups the chances of pulling them are, once again, minuscule. For reference, the events running in jp and en right now are both limited.

Q: Can I get a certain card?
A: If its permanent, yes. It will also be added to the character exchange in the menu where you can obtain the card for 30 green gacha tickets. If its limited, depends. Reruns happen but they only happen once. If you're on en and want emunene's first lims, they're gone for good now. However, there is speculation that older limited cards will be made available through character exchange by the third anniversary.

Q: What are gacha tickets and how can I obtain them?
A: You obtain gacha tokens by pulling on the gacha. You can then exchange these for tickets in the exchange menu. Each gacha ticket is worth 10 gacha tokens (you get 1 token per single pull so therefore, 10 tokens per a 10 pull). There are two types of tickets, pink and green. Pink tickets can be obtained by pulling on limited banners and green tickets can be obtained by pulling on permanent banners. Note that you can only get 10 tickets per banner (100 gacha tokens/30k crystals)

Q: What do I use gacha tickets for?
A: You can use both types (pink and green) to spark for cards. Green tickets can be used to exchange for previous 4*s (30 are required which equates to 90k crystals)

Q: What is sparking?
A: If you pull on a banner and don't get the rate up you want (which is very common), you can spark if you've pulled enough. Sparking a card requires 300 tokens (90k crystals) OR 200 tokens + 10 gacha tickets (60k crystals + the tickets). You can only use pink tickets to spark on limited banners and green tickets to spark on permanent banners. Yes, it sucks and costs way too many crystals but that's the reality of gacha games. Save your crystals everyone!
Q: How to quickly farm for crystals?
A:
events: - 400 crystals from reading the event story whilst the event is ongoing - 500 from the event shop - 300 from watching the virtual live on time - if you're on en, 500/1000 from tiering
that's a min of 1.2k just from the event
challenge shows: - iirc you can get 3.3k crystals per character from challenge shows alone - that's 90k if you complete all challenge shows - to complete a challenge show, you need a min talent of 182k (assuming you play envy)
easier ways: - unlocking side stories of 1 and 2* characters - part one gives 25 crystals, and part 2 gives 50 - for 2* cards, it only takes 50 wish pieces to max out mastery and skill rank - this also gives 8 character medals, which can increase character rank
harder ways: - S ranking every song (requires a talent of 220k, but around 210k should be enough to S rank the majority) - if you're on JP, the easiest way for me to increase CR and talent is levelling area items for the attributes, but it does take a while - and the most obvious one, fc'ing all songs on all difficulties (coins are really useful as well)
challenge show are your best friend when trying to grind for crystals quickly, but keep in mind they're a non-renewable source
finally, resist the urge to pull😭 farming means nothing if you spend it all immediately. i don't even go on the gacha page or download the extra data for good measure

I'm trying to use only Twitch to stream, and of course I want my chat to talk and me see it. Of course, the recommendation is that I use the in game overlay so I can see the messages yet not keep Alt + Tabbing. Problem is, I can't see the overlay when I play anything. Anything that works only does it once, anything that doesn't work has no explanation or reason, and there is lacking documentation to help me. Any tips?

Sorry this is going to be long! I’m 27 and have been working in the accounting industry since graduating college in 2019 with BS in accounting and a minor in creative writing. I was on track climbing the public accounting ladder but getting my CPA on top of multiple busy seasons burnt me out to the point that I quit. I didn’t hate it or anything—I made good money and actually really enjoyed having the space to problem solve without being micromanaged, but I was burned out enough that everything and everyone pissed me off for no reason and I knew that wasn’t fair to my coworkers. I took two months off between jobs in the hopes that it’d cure my burnout. It didn’t, unsurprisingly.
I took an “easier” job hoping that it would be lower stress, but my supervisor constantly belittles me and is horrible at communication, and even if the work itself is simple, having to deal with that on a daily basis has made my mental health worse than ever to the point that I don’t go a day without wondering if I should just end it. The burnout is worse than ever, and I haven’t even been at this job for a full year yet. I genuinely like(d) accounting and used to think I was pretty good at it, but my supervisor has all but shattered that. I’ve been job hunting for months at this point, but I’m having trouble. I have somewhat specialized experience (government accounting) that seems to make it difficult to get non-gov jobs (and the gov is really slow to respond/reach out regarding job apps) IME.
At this point, I’m throwing everything at the wall to find ways to get myself out of this helplessness I’m feeling. I’ve been considering switching to something unrelated to accounting, mainly due to my current job killing my confidence (and sanity) and the difficulty I’ve had with applying for positions in the industry. I wish I could take a year off to just focus on enjoying life and come back to accounting with fresh eyes, but that’s not really financially feasible. I’ve been looking at all sorts of different entry level positions that suit my professional/personal interests—working with my hands, being active/in nature, helping people, and writing, among other things. I don’t need to love my job, but I think a change of scenery could help me with my current funk.
But I’m afraid of leaving my cushy job for something entry level that pays less. I used to think lifestyle creep was about buying cars or going on expensive vacations or going out to eat every day, but for me it’s been being able to buy groceries without first checking my bank account and having enough stability to bring pets (two cats and a dog) into my life. I don’t know if I could provide them the same quality of life if I switch to a lower paying job, and I make more money than my partner, so it’s not really feasible for him to take on most of the financial burden while I prance around trying new things out.
That being said, I worry about what I might do to myself if I spend any more time at this job. I feel like I need an urgent change, but I feel trapped because of money (and health insurance) and the uncertainty of being able to support my current lifestyle on a lower income. I think I can relearn how to live on less for myself, but I feel like I owe it to my partner (even though he told me to quit my job) and pets to continue bringing in enough to live comfortably.
Has anyone else experienced this set of circumstances, and how did you overcome them? How do you deal with reverse lifestyle creep? Does making a huge career shift seem too outrageous/disproportionate to my current situation? How do you take the leap when thinking about changing careers? I feel so lost and unsure what the right choice is.

A friend of mine at work invited me out to Belmont shores (Long Beach, CA) and gave me a trainer kite a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to find a way into the sport since and have been taking in as much information as possible. I just found this subreddit and was hoping you all could help a newbie out with a few questions:

• I’ve seen a kiteboarding “wiki” referenced here but don’t see it as a sticky. Maybe I’m blind but can someone link it for me?
  
• Any recommended videos or instructionals that are key?
  
• I’m trying to do this on a budget (first baby on the way). Any advice on how to get a decent kit that isn’t going to get me killed (I’ve heard some of the older kites are sketchy) and isn’t going to break the bank? Most other sports I’ve played have been a relatively low barrier to entry money wise. Spending this much cash on a setup is new to me.
  
• Any help on what kind of gear I should be looking for to start with? I’m in Oceanside CA, so I’ll probably be between mission bay in San Diego and Belmont Shores mostly.
  

I’m coming over from a decent amount of surfing (few years), skating and quite a lot of trick kite flying when I was a kid. I feel like it’s going to be a fun sport to get into and I’m really excited. The trainer kite was a lot of fun and I did fly my buddies 9M from 11-1 a bunch to get some practice on the first day.

Finally ended my first Resistance campaign. It dragged on and on and was a grind to get the win conditions, enough marines to destroy the base and a councilor out to alpha site.
I had very little idea on how to succeed at the game and wanted to share the mistakes and what I learned:

1. I did not realize that orbitals could have more than one dock/shipyard. I thought it was like habs where you could only have one mine. Oops!
   
2. Pay close attention to how much of each resource ship construction uses. I used up all my gold metals without noticing
   
3. I forgot that I could trade with AI factions. I was able to refill my gold metals by trading boost…but wasted a few years before I realized it.
   
4. Research down the numbered engines, if you’re using that engine. It gets more efficient, lighter, and cheaper to build.
   
5. Design ships with one-level-down weapons that don’t use exotics—they’re not that much worse. Sprinkle them in with your construction
   
6. Exotics are not balanced well. I was scraping the barrel most of the game—until the end when I don’t even need them anymore but I’ve got ~600
   
7. I had the best experience with mid-sized ships, smallest one node lasers on the nose, and big plasma batteries. Note: you can put multiple quantum or other batteries on a ship—really helps.
   
8. I didn’t ever bother with heat sinks. Tin droplet ftw
   
9. Don’t feel the need to always be “winning” on research where you get to pick the next direction. Let the AI do some of that heavy lifting once you’ve got many projects you want to get to.
   
10. Don’t spread mining operations too wildly. Let some get picked off. Invest in density so you can defend those without too many resources or flying all over the place.
    
11. Atomsmashers. And don’t ever use the drive where one propellant tank is 5 whole antimatter.

Hey guys I just got the LG C2 83” super happy with, also got an OPEN BOX DENON X4700H for $1100 is that a good deal for the reciever? It works perfectly. I have a 5.1 setup at the moment. I also have an Nvidia Shield that I use Plex with and also have a PC.
I also JUST bought a DENON X4700H
My question is my TV is capable of doing 120Hz.
My understanding is that the X4700H only has 1 4K 120Hz connection.
Can I pass through the audio and connect my devices to my TV and have the reciever output the audio instead of connecting my devices to the reciever? Is there a big difference I still want to output Dolby Atmos and 4K @ 120Hz on every device I have connected at the minimum if the video is capable.
I believe the Shield is only 4K @ 60Hz compatible.
Also my Nvidia shield plex media does play Atmos and Dolby Vision but the reciever switches back and forth or has trouble playing the audio consistently it breaks or pauses and I can tell the reciever is switching between Atmos and DD+ or something along the lines the audio is TrueHD atmos with my 5.1 setup. I also tried this with a Sony AN1000 and had the same result i don’t know what the issue is possibly Nvidia shield issue?
Is there a huge difference connecting my devices to my TV and using eARC instead of connecting them to my AVR?
Also was the DENON X4700H at $1100 a good deal? I’m getting the calibration mic from DENON soon it was open box from Best Buy. I want to be able to expand to 7.2.4 in the future with an AMP.

I started dating. A guy back in January both agreed to build towards a relationship eventually Cus we both had things to work through from our past we were together almost 2 months so what had happened was we had met up a few times & went on 2 dates out of the 3 times we hung out after our first. Official outing in public at the end of the month We Had an argument because of a hug I know sounds stupid but last time I seen him we went to dinner it was a good night but we were driving home an I like to touch things so when we were at the restaurant I took one of his rings off his finger an wore it went to the bathroom left it there didn’t realise till we were almost to my house which was 45 min away so my immediate reaction was I thought he was mad at me for loosing it an he kept saying he wasn’t but due to my experience it’s hard to believe my partner is telling the truth so when we got home to my house at 1 AM in the morning cus after dinner we just cuddled in his car for 2 hours I went in for a hug an was holding him a few seconds an he was like “ I wanna go home wyd” an I felt rejected & started to overthink “ damn he ain’t wanna be there “ “ did he enjoy the night “ which I took it personally because it was a way of reassuring me because I deal with a lot of anxiety as a adult an possibly may have a anxious attachment style so then instead of thinking oh he had work the next day because it was a Thursday I thought “ oh he must not want me because I made him mad cus I lost sum important to him “ which he later said wasn’t important Which for the life of me my brain refuses to remember an focused on me feeling like he didn’t want me or want to be there over something small cuz I’m use to dealing with people that say “ fuck you & this relationship “ over small things in our relationship an I thought after that it ruined our night but it didnt he had to go home but me having abandonment issues I took it as that was the deal breaker for us hanging out again an then I was still excited that night so I went to text him about making more plans an he was like “ naw I can’t sorry money is short now “ which it was from the start an he’s been sacrificing basically to see me for 3 weeks straight at that point but after that situation with the ring I thought he definitely didn’t wanna hang out again which wasn’t true an with my abandonment it’s hard to accept my romantic partners have lives cus I’ve been hurt so about 2 weeks after the date I t tried to heave the conversation with him about it cus he was being affectionate an I was like “ it felt like you rejected the hug last time “etc etc it was over text so I think that was the main issue because he he didn’t know I I tend to be sarcastic when it comes to bringing up my needs at times an he thought it was a attitude an got upset cuz he thought I was just tripping over a hug but the hug meant more to me because it’s my love language & which at the time he didn’t know my love language and vise versa because I knew we were gonna take it slow & I didn’t wanna bombard him with questions so far forward I haven’t seen him in 3 weeks at the time an it looked like after the interaction the last time we hung out he was pulling away an he explained it wasn’t like that an I understood because to me it dosnt take disrespect to. get your point across but then he proceeded to Go off on me an that’s what started the argument cus i have a little bit more respect for myself now lol I told him I literally understood it wasn’t a personal thing an he really wasn’t upset but didn’t have the money to see me so after the argument I noticed he started pulling away an it triggered me I almost wanted to ghost him then but realised it was a trigger for him too which made it even more difficult because I cared about how he would feel more then what I felt An I brought it up to him an he said he was slowing down because after our argument he said it made it him feel like none of the effort he put in mattered an so I was like ok I respect that what are some boundaries you wanna put up you know just what you wanna do moving forward etc an that was a concern an he still didn’t understand how I felt because of my abandonment issues he expected me to self sooth which kinda felt like he was. Came into the situation feeling like no one appreciated him so when I didn’t show appreciation in the way he wanted ( words or affirmation) he told me I was greedy & unappreciative I remember this one time we were cuddling & he said we were just friends I mean we weren’t official but I don’t cuddle with friends & I have a fear of looking stupid when it comes to my heart so I got up &he looked distressed an one of the things he said was “ do you not see my efforts “ & us. just getting to know each other I need you to communicate directly because idk you but he has a fear of rejection which I realized he told me before I just forgot till the whole situation ended I honestly feel like if there was more communication it could of went better I honestly think he was doing it for validation & how can you tell me I’m unappreciative when the way I give love is acts or service Like I literally offered to pay for the dinner because he picked me up & he insisted he should just to turn around and say I do more then you later on lol & especially since we never had that conversation & it takes me a while to warm up to someone because I’ve been love bombed before I’m not focused on validating you especially if you never asked lol so was I wrong here

Last tax season I got hit pretty hard and had to pay the IRS back. It was my first time ever having to do that, due to having an adjunct job as a 2nd job, and I did fill out the tax information correctly.
This time I am leaving my job for another, and there will be a salary increase. I want to make sure I do not get screwed over come tax season. I filled out the withholding calculator, which said "If you do not change your withholding, you are likely to get a refund" and listed the amount 1,009$. So does that mean, come tax season I will not owe the federal government, and will instead get a refund? It's also my understanding is I should use this calculator again at the start of the new year also?
I just want to make sure. If that's the case then I just have to worry about owing state tax - my state's online calculator is poor and makes it difficult to figure out if I need to withhold anymore on the state level (Maryland).

Dropped my partner off at detox/rehab yesterday. It’ll be weeks before I see him again and part of me feels relief and part of me feels sadness and part of me feels hopeful.
He was a mess - weeks of Xanax and Oxys - this is going to be rough for him. They allow him to use his phone from 330 to 430 each day but he didn’t call or text today. I’m CHOOSING to believe he’s been given something to calm down or even rest. At least I hope that’s why he didn’t reach out.
When it’s your loved one, the struggle is between doing what you can, everything you can for them AND taking care of yourself. I haven’t done much of the latter so I’m looking forward to focusing on me a little while he’s “in”. Does that make me an awful person?

Hi! I am a tall person looking for shinguards for another sport, and the ones used in Field Hockey are amazing. But I am 194cm, not regular lenght so most things never suit me / stuff is too short. When looking at FH shinguards I rarely see any actual length in cm or inches of the actual shinguards. Does anyone know of a site or excelchart with actual lenght of the different makers shinguards? Was looking at Grays or Adidas products but I am open to suggestions, the ones with hard plastic cover over foam are the ones I am interested in! Thanks!
