My caseworker says that on our next court date Friday that she’s going to ask for unsupervised visits (taking that with a grain of salt until it actually happens). What are the rules with unsupervised time? Will I be able to take them anywhere? How many days do you usually start off with? Is this a pretty big step?
We’ve completed parenting classes, continuing therapy, and doing everything they ask so I’m really hoping this means they’ll come home soon.

Update to my previous post about finding a new facility
So I called some farms yesterday morning and haven’t heard back from any of them yet. In the past I’ve always heard back right away or a little bit after so I’m just not exactly sure what to do now. How long should I wait to hear back before I just forget about it and move on? I left a voicemail and a follow up email. I unfortunately only have a few options for boarding since the area I live in has a very small amount of farms to choose from.

Hours later I finally called him and he was very calm and collected and stated that he’s not cheating on me and that he never would and I said it’s a little suspicious that he was away and the location was saying the same distance away. He is claiming his account must have been hacked. I have trust issues from previous relationships and this situation has re sparked that same feeling and I don’t quite know if I should trust it or not. I see him tonight for the first time since he’s been back. On the off chance that he didn’t cheat, is my concern of the situation going to ruin our relationship? So many emotions running through me.

Hello everyone. For privacy I'll be changing some details. I (22F) have been with my boyfriend (26M) for over two years. We've had our ups and downs just like every relationship but we've pushed through it with communication trust and love. Well recently he went on a trip with his family out of state and he has been gone for three days as of this post and he has not said one thing to me. I was going to go to bed a couple hours ago (it is currently 4:26am) when my friend who lives in the state my boyfriend is currently in, stating she was scrolling on a dating app that me and my boyfriend actually met on and saw him saying he was shy of a few miles away. At first like most people would be in this situation, I was in denial. I quickly looked up how this app reads your location to be let down almost immediately. You need to have the app downloaded and actively using it within the last 72hrs of downloading it for it to update how far you are from someone/your location. I re downloaded the app and confirmed it said how far he was from me. I am destroyed to say the least. And very confused. I spent two hours on the phone with a suicide hotline after my discovery. Sadness turned into anxiety and anxiety turned into anger. I messaged him on said app. Was that a good idea? Maybe not. But either way he started the fire. I just don't know what to do next l'm just so torn up.

I’m a GS-5, but I don’t enjoy my current position and would like to transition to another agency at some point. The issue is that every job posting has very specific requirements. Even if I have the right education, and even some relevant/specialized experience, the job postings require that experience to be “in the federal service”.
For example: “For the GS-09: You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as meeting one or more of the following statements:”
So how can I get that specialized experience “in the federal service” if my current job doesn’t offer it? I’m opening to interning, but I’m not a student or recent grad.

There is a lot of discourse about rainbow capitalism, which, yes I understand. Probably the only reason blizzard agreed was because it could make them some money and they were no longer in good standings with China. However, I don’t understand why so many people are fighting for their lives and being pessimistic about it. So how would you know??)
I just don’t know because would they rather that ow2 do nothing at all? Like what is the point of arguing and being upset, does more good come out of it than being happy with the progress being made to have a more diverse roster?

I've had this piercing for over 3 years at this point. It is the side I sleep on the most heavily. I've tried everything - washing it with saline every day, washing it with just water, leaving it alone, fucking with it every day to get the crusties off. Sometimes the bump is on the "bottom" side. It calms down and flares up again. I've seen the local piercer about it a couple of times, and the people there all have had different answers. I have had my other daith pierced and I don't have the same issues with it. Any advice for how to get it to calm down would be most appreciated!

So I am F(30) I live with my brother who is 24 and he is the laziest person I know. He just finished uni a couple months ago so I don't expect him to pay any Bill's but I think he should contribute to household chores. He stays in his room the whole day on his laptop, smokes weed and honestly doesn't seem to have a solid plan for his life. I literally come back from work and have to do all the cooking and cleaning or else it won't get done. I recently started cooking only one portion of food for myself because I decided if he wants to eat he should at least cook. I'm tired of living like this so I've decided to kick him out. I've already told my parents and other siblings that I'm kicking him out but they. We've all tried to intervene, we asked him how we can help but he said he doesn't need help, we paid for therapy, rehab because he seems to be dependent on weed (anyone who can give insight on the side effects of weed please help). We even got him a sure job in IT which is what he studied but he refused it. I don't know what else to do. I have two older siblings but they live abroad so there's not much they can do. My parents are retired and moved upcountry.I think the problem is that we are babying him too much so now he feels entitled. He has been like this since he started uni. Please advise.

As the title states, My new printer (Qidi X Smart 3) loses its z offset and mesh level whenever I print ABS on basically every print, except not on PLA. I'm certainly not a novice, I've been building printers since the Makerbot cupcake and prusa mendel days and have owned a few dozen, however I've never seen this issue before and its making me pull my hair out.

I got the Qidi about a month ago and started printing with the included rapid pla, and my usual polymaker pla, and back to the rapid because it worked better for full speed printing, and ive been in love with this printer, its fast and just friggin worked.. and that was until i printed with abs and I have to re level and reset the z offset on every print as either the nozzle moves too close to the build surface, or too high, and its drastic. I originally thought I was being too rough removing the print, however that isnt the case, I started waiting for the printer to cool down 100% where the part was not at all adhered to the PEI build plate and i could just grab it off without even removing the flex bed, and that still wasnt it. I started doing some small test prints with benchys and calibration cubes, but no luck replicating the issue, only on larger prints. I then started printing those prints with PLA and the issue went away.
So my conclusion so far is that when printing PLA, my bed temp is only 70c and I have the top lid on the enclosure removed per the instructions so the heatbrake can be properly cooled (learned how important this is on the first print lol) and when printing ABS its fully enclosed with a bed temp of 100c so this must be causing something internal on the printer to flex or change when printing so much that I loose my level and offset.
For those wondering, the printer does not re level on each print like my previous printers have, I think that this would solve my issue alone. It also has an inductive bed sensor, and uses an optical end stop at the max z height with the bed at the bottom of the printer, and then homes at the bottom and just calculates its distance to the nozzle from there.
I guess from here I know what might be causing my issue, or I'm completely off and its nothing to do with frame flex due to heat, and possibly an overheated z motor? The z motor is inside the print chamber along with the A B motors which dont seem to have any issues. I can go back to PLA and print perfectly every time, but I'd really like to keep printing ABS.

I can't help but feel a bit pathetic with that title, but as someone who had absolutely zero self-esteem for essentially all of my adolescence, I'm proud of how much more progress I've made. For much of my life my identity is that a girl would never want to get with me but I've finally gotten over that mindset.

I have no deeper knowledge about ebikes and hoping someone help out a noob. I wonder what the difference between shimo motor and Bosh is, and if there is any and are other brands just worse overall? (I only see bosh and shimano bikes)
I want a mountain ebike and I would just it primarily for commute in the city environement (15km to my work) would 2.6" tyres or a full suspension be bad for it? Are the riding position usually designed for MTB only? I will do some hobby cycling in the forest also as extra exersize. I have no problem buying a front suspension one, but are there any recommendations in terms of brands to look for? I know trek and canyon, are they top tier?

I want to understand what causes a wave function with all superpositions to collapse?
For example let's take any of the various double slit experiment variations with splitters, lenses etc. When light passes through lenses, splitters of course the light wave interacts with the quantum fields inside the lense, the splitter, particles in air etc from the source till the screen/measurement tool. Now as per observed light behaves as particle and superposition wave function collapses when the measurement tool interacts with the light. But why doesn't the superposition wave function collapse when light interacts with other material which are part of the experiment?
What kind of physical interaction takes place when we measure? And how is it different as compared to a measuring tool interacting with the light?

I've been looking into different philosophical worldviews/fields for a few years. Mostly aimed at finding more precise ways to interpret reality. I've hit a roadblock a few times. I haven't been able to find a method of organization that shows philosophies of being in relation to another. Like a philosophical tree. (Eg XYZ philosophical group is a split off of ABC group or field.)
This could totally be an ignorance thing or a question for a different sub. I've loved reading your responses to other posts.
TLDR: How do you personally organize different theoriesof being/philosophical worldviews? Is there a cohesive method of organization?

We’ve not been at this too long so the sensation is still new. On the one hand i was busy with a beautiful woman and super into that, on the other, i could not take my eyes off my wife getting fact. I made an impulsive decision to take in a dog for my mom who works in animal rescue. Ellie is a 9 month old shihtzu. She first went into heat this past April. I have time, and pet insurance, but I don't necessarily know how to properly train a dog. I've always been a cat person.
Anyway, I need her to be properly house trained so I can trust her when I'm away for long periods. I have a kennel, but with my work schedule, its not fair for her to be locked up 12 hours a day without a bathroom break.
At the moment, every time she gets in the trash, chews up my underwear, or gets into the used TP, i rotate my "forms of punishment". Its typicall; lethal use of the spray bottle, abusing her with a newspaper, or verbally assaulting her by telling her she's a bad dog, followed by putting her outside. Nothing seems to be working
When she pees or poops in the house, I punish her based on location. For example if she goes by the back door, I can't be too upset because she has to go thru the back door to go potty. We are still currently leash training as well. That is going much better than house training.
Anyway, if anyone could comment tips on how they house broke their dog PLEASE let me know.

I think my just broke down the last days, it doesnt find any connection anymore, even tried to switch usb port, device etc. didnt work at all. it does get recognized but it doesnt work (windows says there is a device but cant get the input). Have it since february 2022 and played with it for around 820-840 hours. never slapped it, never punched it and never pulled to hard. did i destroy id?
