My question is this - sounds like Bloodborne is a must-play from this community. I watched the PS5 state of play and about a billion people in the comments seemed to think a Bloodborne remake was coming. Any thoughts from the community on whether to hold my breath for that vs buying on sale now?

So all of you may know that some dlc's will be coming to elden ring. I just need to know something . I am currently on New game+( or journey 2) and I want to know if this will affect the difficulty of the dlc or it will just act like a whole new game. I mean , most of Fromsoftware dlc's were just like adding a new map that could be accesed in the game itself , like in Ds1 or Ds3 , you would just simply enter the dlc area and set a bonfire. The thing is , I don't want to think that the dlc will be 10x harder only because i'm on ng+

Not sure if anyone is doing this in Elden Ring, but I remember in DS3 we would drop each other armor sets to get one person to have a complete inventory of every armor and weapon without farming, and they would savescum to everyone else.

Article Length Limits
Articles are limited on how many words they can have. The maximum word count is dependent on the content of the article. For example, articles about anniversaries will have the "Feature" word limit, but "Iofi is cute"-type articles will have the "Short" word limit. We probably won't be strictly enforcing these limits, but if you're over it, don't be surprised if it gets cut down.
Feature - 230 wordsThese are articles covering the big events of the week. Examples: • Anniversaries • Birthdays • New outfits • ConcertsImportant - 140 wordsArticles covering abnormal/important information. This is very much so a judgement call by the reporter and editors. If you claim an article is important and it's not obvious why, be prepared to explain. Examples: • Announcements (including breaks & returns) • Misc smaller celebrations/events • Merch with many details • Information that's personally important for a talent or fanbaseRegular - 100 wordsRegular articles that cover a reasonable amount of normal activity. Space Saving Tips

If you find you're having a hard time keeping your articles within the word count limits, here's a few tips for things you can try.1. Cut out or summarize detailsThey can make an article more interesting, but often they can be removed or explained with fewer words. This is an extreme example, but the principle can be applied on a smaller scale.

Together with Uyu, Fuma decided that he wanted to build a house in Minecraft. First they had to get materials from the forest, but they both died to creepers three times. Next, they adventured to the mines to gather stone. They got sidetracked for an hour in an abandoned mine while doing this. During the building process, Astel swooped in with flint and steel and tried to set everything on fire! Together, Fuma and Uyu were able to drive him away and save a majority of the house. They happened to die to creepers one more time after that, but they ended up with a very nice looking Japanese-style house.

2. Remove/shorten unnecessary descriptions

Ina gave Calli an illustration of her for her birthday. It features a chibi version of Calli in a spaceship flying to an unknown dimension. On the dashboard, doll versions of all of holoEN could be seen. Farther back in the cabin, Calli's scythe and alternate outfits were present.

3. Remove opinions/funny commentaryThis example could be completely removed, and the article it's in wouldn't lose any real information.

5. Use simple wordsIt's better to sound like you're talking to 5-year-olds than a walking thesaurus.

I have only played elden ring, but I wanted to dip my toes in Formsofts other games. I've heard that these are the best two, so I was wondering which I should get. I am planning on getting one of these, and no others, just wondering which one I should get first.

They are:
History, especially the 19th-20th century but with more broad and general knowedge in other time periods. I'm not an expert or anything but I am pretty passionate about it and tend to read/listen about one event or the other on a pretty regular basis.
Literature, especially old novels. I recently read Demian (my all time favourite book), Day of the Oprichnik, Heart of Darkness, the Perfume and Little Prince. Currently started reading Blood Meridian. Some of my other favourite works would include: "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Faust part I" (need to get to part II) and "No Longer Human". I also like to write short stories and book reviews. I'd also really like to read the same book with someone and discuss it. For reference my next book will probably be Oliver Twist
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I'm currently working to scrape off the rust and then when I'm finished with that will begin to learn a fourth language. It's fun to go through different works in multiple languages. For example, I read the aforementioned Faust part I in all three.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad! The main questline at least, Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and will try out Deus Ex Manking Divided again ( Got inspired since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk). I was waiting to play Elden Ring but it ended being too stressful for me. Go here and get beaten up go there and get beaten up, repeat...Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games...like EU IV and HoI IV (also thinking of making my own project for HoI IV). I am definitely looking forward to try out Victoria III, after they add more content to it. I also got Modern Warfare 2, since the first MW had great multiplayer gameplay.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good new season of Bleach. Some other favourites include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass , Higurashi (season 2 is a bit weak but the first one is a masterpiece of horror), Code Geass, Attack on Titan and others. My favourite Manga is Berserk...I hope it gets a good ending..the first couple of new chapters were...a bit rough but the new author seems to have got his footing.
Anyway, that should be enough information to give you a good picture... Before I go, I would like to ask for you to include the title of the last book you read in your reply. A small request, I feel. I'll be ignoring those that don't.

I’ve been using G2A for years now and I just recently ended up buying what I thought was a key for Elden Ring and instead I received an Xbox account instead.
You don’t even have reliable customer service either, just a chatbot saying it’s up to the seller to distribute a refund.
When I told the issue to the seller about how it’s against the terms of service to sell accounts and that I wanted a game key and not an account that probably has a fraudulent copy of the game, all they told me was: “Alright”
They said because I opened the link they sent, I accessed the account and so a refund is not possible.
When all I did was click: “Get Key”.
This practice is so misleading and the fact that they allow this on their platform is going to be their downfall. Worst yet is the seller reviews looked fine and google suggested their page when I searched for an Elden Ring key from G2A.
I feel like this is a complete “gotcha” marketplace now.
Are we really going to start siding with sellers automatically who mislead your customers?

Hi everyone, after researching and waiting for over a year I am finally ready to build my first ever gaming rig. I used to have a gaming laptop with a 1060 (6gb) gpu but it can hardly run anything on my monitor and gets extremely hot.

Do I need to order everything from the same retailer? Some parts are cheaper on some of the retailers but it seems like most retailers have a return/refund policy till only 7 days of delivery. Should I get the i5 12600k(f) instead of 13600kf which would be approx 6k cheaper and go with a b660 mobo as well to get the Gigabyte Aorus Elite 4070ti for 84k instead of the Eagle?
Is 850W overkill for my build or should I go with a 750W psu and spend more on storage?

Hello. I'm using a Dell G5 15 laptop with a 454gb SSD and the "disc 1 has been surprise removed" message is showing up repeatedly in the event viewer. no solution that I've found online has worked. Here's a list of solutions that I've already tried:

Running CHKDSK
Updating drivers
Updating Windows
Modifying the registry (changing timeout value to 60 and base to decimal)
Removing all external drives
Clean boot

I also do not have Xbox game pass.
I recently purchased Elden Ring and this event causes the game to freeze for about 5 full seconds each time it occurs, which is why I'm trying to fix it. I also don't want to disable easy anti-cheat In case I get banned or something.
If you have a solution I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Every invasion is a gank, or someone with weapons from mountain tops that instakills me or leaves me at 10% while I only have 3 flasks. Who thought that password summons are balanced?????????????????? I just fought someone with f**g Rob in Stormveil. Stormveil! who needs someone with rob in stormveil i thought this game should be hard but i guess i was wrong. I fought someone in Dragonbarrow again with Rob while I had +0 Dismounter. A running attack dealt something close to 5% of his HP. I only won because the host died to a vulgar militia. At this point, why should I even play? I have 100% the game and have nothing to do. I want this game to be good, but this fg PvP is so shit, I can't. Also, why should I grind for fg hours for dumplings, boluses, and grease just to stand a slim chance of winning? While the host and his phantoms can play like 1-year-old toddlers and still win because of spell spam or just using undodgeable attacks like Placis Ruin that takes 10 frames—10 F**G FRAMES—and does 1/3 of my HP with starting blast or Dragon Communion spells that cover a large distance, do a lot of damage, stagger, and inflict status effects. Who made this PvP system? Did anyone playtest it? Is the Elden Ring team going to fix it? miyazaki i beg you fix this dumpster fire

I have played Elden ring, and I am looking for a new game that is similar to it. My main focus was on dark souls lll or dark souls remastered. Which of those has more weapons, items, skills. Which has more quality of life, which is better. I play on Xbox so i wouldn’t be able to get demon souls remake.
