So no matter how hard I study im always stuck to be below average and right now its really killing my motivation to keep going. I go to all the classes, I take notes, I study a week in advance for exams and I still manage to get 55-60% while the average is B+.
I just don't know what to do anymore, I only take 4 classes and I work one day a week, I don't sleep very much, I go to the library everyday after class and I'm a business major so I know the material is relatively easier than I lot of other majors.
I'm a first year and so far I haven't failed a class, I am just incredibly below average no matter what I do and I am terrified of never being able to get an internship/a first job in my field.

My son just turned 9yo. It's not until recently that I realized that he's different compared to other boys in his class and I'm not sure if it's a problem. Interested in other parent's thoughts and also next steps. Here are things we've noticed:
*Is social with other kids but prefers alone time *Is uncomfortable in situations where he has to meet new people- particularly other kids *Would rather sit with us at kid social events rather than hanging out with other kids *Hates playing sports, despite being good at them *Never smiles in pictures *Conversations aren't fluid- still a bit choppy with his thought process compared to other kids his age *Does weird movements with his tongue or lips- usually when he's bored or focusing *Despite being nice and respectful- doesn't have many friends and doesn't engage with other kids unless they engage with him first *Never shows anger or throws tantrums, but cries easily *Severe confidence issues. Calls himself stupid or gets frustrated with failure. When he was 5-6 he used to say he wishes he was dead. *Acts more child-like with play than other kids his age, despite having normal intelligence *Easily distracted. Struggles to focus.
We are wondering if he's on the spectrum but don't know what's next. Or is he just a kid and we need to wait?

She may not be smiling. She may not be laughing. She may even seem disinterested. However, if she is choosing to physically remain near you, then that is still a good sign.
Trust me, if you were screwing up enough, the first thing that she would do is try to put more physical distance between you.
If a girl wants to talk to you, one of the simplest things that she can do is physically move herself closer to you. This is done in order to provide an opportunity to start a conversation. She may even choose to fake bump into you in order to initiate an interaction.
Furthermore, if a girl has the ability to move away from you during an interaction, yet chooses on her own accord to stay, then you are doing good enough.
Girls as well as guys often do not know what to say, get nervous, are shy, etc. She may be happy that you are carrying the conversation even if she does not say much herself. If she didn't want to be there, then she would make an excuse to leave.

First time actually coming out to someone IRL now that I know my gender identity (MtF Trans-woman) outside my therapist.
I'm autistic and like context so I'ma drop it all here (you can skip to "storytime"): I'm late 30's with a wife and kid; wife knows I'm exploring (but conversation went bad for sad reasons, not anger); currently in limbo with talking to my wife about it for her mental health needs (legit, not unsupportive); sister knew I was exploring but not what I discovered; I'm basically closeted outside my therapist; I'm isolated in pretty much all other ways: sister is 2 states away and between undiagnosed autism/gender dysphoria and failing at being a man I never cultivated a solid friend group. YOU'RE ALL CAUGHT UP NOW!
Storytime: So I text my sister in the morning letting her know I need to talk if she could after work, but I'm not in crisis or anything (I'm lying... I was inching towards crisis but not there yet because it's been about a week that I knew my identity and I was about to explode from closeted containment breach).
Nothing ... Remind myself this isn't abnormal (bonus context: she's ADHD like me, but no autism, so sometimes she read it, then get side tracked by other things, then "out of site out of mind" and doesn't respond until something reminds her)
I brace for the long wait... 9 hours pass... ...
Near the end of her 10 hour shift she finally responds: lets me know she can call when she's done work in like 15 minutes.
Tell my wife I'm going to go for a drive and talk to my sister (wife let's me know she'll put our kid to bed, I say goodnight to them and leave).
Go to parking lot and text my sister I'm all set... then waited
And waited... And waited... ... (Totally not freaking out)... (Tell Chat GPT how not freaking out I am) (It calls me on my BS) ...
Sister texts: "got held late at work will get food then call..."
I wait... I panic internally... I try to let it pass... Panic some more... I wait... ...
Sister calls: I say "hi [sister]" and then immediately freeze up and don't know how to word so good (not now autism, dangit!).
My sister, knowing me: "look if you need me to hide another body I'm... Well I'm your sister: I'll help you do it but I'm tired so I'm gonna bit-- the whole time..."
it worked: she got me to laugh
So I tell her: "Y'know that gender exploration stuff I was doing?" "Yeah..." "Well I figured it out and uh... Yeah... Um..." (aggressively slams panic down with the rest of unprocessed emotions where it belongs) "I'm a trans-woman it turns out..." deafening silence panic rising: revengeance

Just asked questions: wanted to make sure it wasn't something I'm rushing in to, wanted to make sure I was aware of the ramifications socially, asked about a personal question regarding something I said last time (それは秘密です)...
But then this:
"I care about you a lot: So I just needed to make sure that this is you being sure because out of ALL my brothers... Well... brothers and sister now I guess... You're the one who always makes a billion characters when we game, so just checking that this isn't you just excited for the moment and then going to move on to something else later?"
the word "sister" hasn't hit me yet "Yeah no... I've done a lot of stuff, and this wasn't the ideal outcome anyway because [wife] is very hetero so you know that wasn't what I w-"
suddenly gets hit by the word and immediately chokes up
Sister: "oh hey... I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad I-"
"It's not that... it's just... It felt really nice... that you called me your sister..."😭
My sister's reaction: "Awww... Hey I'm your sister I'm always gonna care about you. Besides remember when you were born how I wanted to trade you for a little sister? This is just an upgrade to me..."
So then we talked and she was supportive in a "oh dang you have some serious stuff ahead of you don't you?" way...
I learned that my sister had gotten exposed to all sorts of people by be being involved with the local anime conventions in her region, and she apparently became something of a local "big sis"/"Onee-san" for people and is respectful: like defaulting to "they/them" if she didn't know someone's pronouns...
So yeah... ALL YOU ANIME FREAKS apparently helped my sister be open-minded to my transition (note: I mean that as a joke and I'm truly appreciative: I used to be one too, I literally quoted a character from "Slayers" earlier in Japanese... just haven't had time anymore).
And now I have a GIANT weight off my shoulders knowing my big sis loves me even as her younger sister 😭❤

This week was... really good for me :3
started with an talk with my boss. I came out to him a week or so ago and that day we talked about this and that and the topic came to me being trans. At one point he basically said (translating from german), that it's awfull how much discrimination there is against trans people and implying that he has my back if anything happens in this regard. And I was standing there like "omg thank you".
Also I finally solved some issues with my health insurrance (unrelated stuff that led to me not having a insurrance card for some months and hence werent able to start things) and my card arrived this week. since there is no informed consent here in germany i still need an indication from an therapist to start hrt, but health insurrance covers those sessions too, so progress.
Also started to contact an therapist already and have a good feeling. in my mail to them I introduced myself as "chosen name last name (legal name: blabla)" and they started their answer with "hello chosen name", so maybe i found an trans-friendly one at the very first shot

Ok, I’m not necessarily new to the SB lifestyle but I’m not a dedicated SB. I have 2 jobs, am quite financially set, but let’s be real - I like expensive things and if I can have an arrangement, why not?
My night job is bartending. I created a SA account but quickly got overwhelmed and just stopped looking at it. Ironically, I ran into one of the SD on there in the wild. I’m not sure he recognized me, although I’d be surprised since I have pretty distinctive hair. Either way, he aggressively pursued me which I was a bit hesitant of since I just ended another semi SB relationship due to him being kind of crazy (possessive, tracked my location, got drunk and emotionally raged at me all hours of the night) etc…
So I hung out briefly and POT immediately offered me money for something around a few hundred. I didn’t agree to anything, completely him saying “let me do it”. So I did. I’ve been VERY transparent with him on my work schedule and he still has the audacity to catch an attitude with me over things we’ve clearly discussed like my schedule and expectations. We still don’t have an official arrangement, so I’m even more baffled at how he is so entitled, per se. He’s walking a similar line IMO to the first SD .. so are most SD this way?
I completely get arrangements. Shit, I love intimacy, LOVE it. Hours long! But call me a chuckle fucker if you must. I need someone who I enjoy being around in order for that to be a thing. Laughing and having a good time gets me SO in the mood! I also will never be dependent in any form on a SD. Not that it factors in much, but I make 6 figures already so the power struggle between a SD trying to leverage money is useless on me. That isn’t to say I’m not pretty easy going, but don’t treat me like I NEED you because I don’t .
Am I hoping for a pipe dream? Any advice is appreciated

I'm following the JD 5k/10k plan for 40-50 mpw for a 10k in late spring. Next week is the first week of phase III, and every week has one workout near 5k/VO2 max pace and one workout at threshold pace, with no specific 10k pace training. I know the JD philosophy is to train specific energy systems, but I'm wondering if there would be benefit to doing some work at 10k goal pace and how others have incorporated it.
Some background: I ran in college, but XC maxed out at 6k and I ran mid distance in track, so this is my first 10k race. I also took a few years off after graduation for injuries/burnout, so I don't know what I'm capable of beyond the VDOT paces I've been following for workouts. I plan on doing a 5k TT soon to get a better idea.
Ideally, I would like to do a few 10k workouts like 10 x 1k or 4-5 x 2k, but coming back from such a long break, I'm not sure if it would be more beneficial to stick with the E-I-T-R framework so I'm always maxing out benefits on one system... Although intuitively, it doesn't make sense to me that VO2 max pace is better than 10k pace for training for a 10k. Also, due to aforementioned injuries, I'm maxing out at 35 mpw this cycle and would need more easy/short days after a higher volume workout. Would that negate the benefits of doing the longer workouts? Lastly, if I had a 10k specific workout, would it be better to replace that week's threshold workout or the VO2 max workout? My gut says VO2 max since longer races historically haven't been my strength, but I'm curious for outside opinions.

The current's season Prestige Cup cars are the Honda LB Works NSX-R (Purple and Gold Star). They were initially introduced in season 163 (September 15, 2022 - September 29, 2022) (OTA Update 4.0.x) as Crew Season (Top 10 Crews) and Milestone (20M Crew RP milestone) Prize cars.
Both cars will need between 2 and 4 stage 6s in order to beat the Cup or you can get thru the Cup with all stage 6s, uncommon (green) and almost all rare (blue) fusions fitted. Don't forget to claim your free Prestige Cup crates in Rare Imports, but before doing so, claim the stage 6 from Race #28, to avoid duplicates.
The Honda LB Works NSX-R is an amazing tier 4 car, that will serve you well in live racing and in the Tempe5t challenges, but for Tempe5t, you will need to completely max the car. It's not only part, but is the fastest car for the current Championship ShowDown.
Honda NSX:
In 1984, Honda commissioned the Italian car styling house Pininfarina to design the concept car HP-X (Honda Pininfarina eXperimental), which had a C20A 2.0 L V6 engine in a mid-mounted configuration. After Honda committed to a sports car project, the company management informed the engineers working on the project that the new car would have to be as fast as anything coming from Italy and Germany. The HP-X concept car evolved into a prototype known as NS-X, which stood for "New", "Sportscar" "eXperimental".
Honda settled on a non-VTEC, 3.0-liter double overhead camshaft 24-valve V6 engine selected for the production model. This engine generated a maximum power output of about 250 hp (186 kW; 253 PS) and 282 N⋅m (208 lb⋅ft) of torque, with a redline of 7,300 rpm. However, at the same time, Honda was working on its revolutionary VTEC variable valve timing system, with plans to release it on the company's home-market 4-cylinder Integra. Honda's then-president Tadashi Kume, himself a highly skilled and respected engine designer, questioned the NS-X designers' logic in foregoing the VTEC system for Honda's new flagship sports car, while it was being used on the lower-market Integra. As a result, the engine was redesigned very late in the development process "to achieve the desired levels of performance and durability"; Honda designed a new cylinder block with 6-bolt main caps and larger cylinder heads to contain the complex VTEC mechanism. Innovative connecting rods made from a titanium alloy were used to lower reciprocating weight, while increasing overall rod-strength—something which increased the engine's maximum rpm by 700, resulting in a final redline of 8,000 rpm. A consequence of this last-minute engine change was that the new C30A engine was too large to fit in the NS-X's engine bay, which had been carefully sized for the smaller heads of the non-VTEC DOHC 3.0 liter engine. As a result, the engineers were forced to tilt the entire engine backward approximately 5 degrees- a characteristic that continued all the way to the NSX's final production in 2005.
The exterior design had been specifically researched by Uehara after studying the 360-degree visibility inside an F-16 fighter jet's cockpit. Thematically, the F-16 came into play in the exterior design as well as establishing the conceptual goals of the NSX. In the F-16 and other high performance aircraft such as unlimited hydroplanes along with open-wheel race cars, the cockpit is located far forward and in front of the power plant. This "cab-forward" layout was chosen to optimize visibility while the long tail design enhanced high speed directional stability. The NSX was designed to showcase several automotive technologies, many derived from Honda's F1 motor-sports program.
The NSX was the first production car to feature an all-aluminium semi-monocoque, incorporating a revolutionary extruded aluminium alloy frame and suspension components. The use of aluminium saved nearly 200 kg (441 lb) of weight over the use of steel in the body alone, while the aluminium suspension arms saved an additional 20 kg (44 lb); a suspension compliance pivot helped maintain wheel alignment changes at a near zero value throughout the suspension cycle. Other notable features included an independent, 4-channel anti-lock brake system; an electric power steering system; Honda's proprietary VTEC variable valve timing system and in 1995, the first electronic throttle control fitted in Honda production car.
With a robust motorsports division, Honda had significant development resources at its disposal and made extensive use of them. Respected Japanese Formula One driver Satoru Nakajima, for example, was involved with Honda in the NSX's early on-track development at Suzuka race circuit, where he performed many endurance distance duties related to chassis tuning. Brazilian Formula One World Champion Ayrton Senna, who won many races in Formula One with Honda before his death in 1994, was considered Honda's main innovator in convincing the company to stiffen the NSX's chassis further after initially testing the car at Honda's Suzuka GP circuit in Japan. Senna further helped refine the original NSX's suspension tuning and handling by spending a whole day test driving prototypes and reporting his findings to Honda engineers after each of the day's five testing sessions. Senna also tested the NSX at the Nürburgring and other race tracks. As a result of Senna's input, Honda took the NS-X prototype to the Nürburgring to tune the chassis stiffness. Over the course of several months, the chassis was refined in a painstaking process: Nakajima would drive a lap on the circuit and then discuss with the Honda engineers where he felt flex in the chassis. The engineers would hand-weld aluminum braces in the area they believed would fix the issue and send the driver back out to confirm. This process was repeated over and over, with the data results sent directly to Honda headquarters in Japan, where it was fed into a Cray supercomputer and translated into reinforcements in the production aluminum monocoque. As a result of this process, the NS-X chassis stiffness increased by over 50% with only a small increase in weight. The suspension development program was similarly far-ranging and took place at the Tochigi Proving Grounds, the Suzuka circuit, the 179-turn Nürburgring Course in Germany, HPCC, and Honda's newest test track in Takasu, Hokkaido. Honda automobile dealer Bobby Rahal (two-time CART PPG Cup and 1986 Indianapolis 500 champion) also participated in the car's development.
Honda NSX-R:
Honda decided in 1992 to produce a version of the NSX specifically modified for superior track performance at the expense of customary creature comforts. Thus, the NSX Type R (or NSX-R) was born. Honda chose to use its moniker of Type R to designate the NSX-R's race-oriented capabilities.
Honda engineers started with a base NSX coupé and embarked on an aggressive program of weight reduction. Sound deadening, the audio system, spare tyre, air conditioning system and traction control along with some of the electrical equipment were removed. The power leather seats were replaced with lightweight carbon-kevlar racing seats made by Recaro for Honda. However, electric windows and fore/aft electric seat adjusters were retained. The stock forged alloy wheels were replaced with lighter forged aluminium wheels produced by Enkei, which reduced the car's unsprung weight. The standard leather shift knob was replaced with a sculpted titanium piece. Overall, Honda managed to reduce approximately 120 kg (265 lb) of weight as compared to the standard NSX, resulting in the NSX-R's final weight of 1,230 kg (2,712 lb).
Due to its mid-engine layout and rear-end link travel, was susceptible to a sudden oversteer condition during certain cornering maneuvers. While this condition rarely occurred during normal driving conditions, it was much more prevalent on race tracks where speeds were much higher. To address the problem and improve the NSX-R's cornering stability at the limit, Honda added one aluminium bracket under the front battery tray and added one bracket in front of the front radiator to add more chassis rigidity replacing the entire suspension system with a more track oriented unit, featuring a stiffer front sway bar, stiffer suspension bushings, stiffer coil springs and stiffer dampers.
The standard NSX has a somewhat rearward bias in its spring and bar rates, where the rear was relatively quite stiff versus the front. This means that the lateral load transfer distribution, or the amount of load that is transferred across the front axle versus the rear while cornering, is rather rear biased. This can make the car quite lively and easy to rotate at low speed, but during high speed cornering, this effect becomes more pronounced and could be a handful to manage. To reduce the tendency to oversteer, Honda fitted softer rear tyres on the NSX. For the NSX-R, Honda reversed the spring bias, placing stiffer springs on the front suspension along with stiffer front sway bar. This shifted the load transfer stiffness balance farther forward, resulting in more rear grip at the expense of front grip; this had the effect of decreasing the oversteer tendency of the car, making it much more stable while cornering at high speeds. Overall, the NSX-R utilises a much stiffer front sway bar along with stiffer springs than the standard NSX (21.0 mm x 2.6 mm front sway bar: front 3.0 kg/mm, rear 4.0 kg/mm for the NSX versus front 8.0 kg/mm, rear 5.7 kg/mm for the NSX-R).
Honda also increased the final drive ratio to a 4.235:1 in place of the 4.06:1, which resulted in faster gear changes. This change improved acceleration, which was 4.9 seconds to 60 mph, at the expense of top speed, which was 168 mph, and a higher locking limited-slip differential was installed. Also, the NSX-R's 3.0-litre engine had a blueprinted and balanced crankshaft assembly which is exactly the same labour-intensive high precision process done for Honda racing car engines built by highly qualified engine technicians.
Beginning in late November 1992, Honda produced a limited number of 483 NSX-R variants exclusively for the Japanese domestic market (JDM). Factory optional equipment such as air conditioning, Bose stereo system, carbon fibre interior trim on the centre console as well as the doors and larger wheels painted in Championship White (16-inches at the front and 17-inches at the rear) were available for a hefty premium. Production of the NSX-R ended in September 1995.

Captain Terassa plugged the datachip into her console. Her ship had retrieved it from an asteroid belt in a remote system, one devoid of life. It was filled with nothing but the dead remains of the Galactic Union, which fell in some sort of conflict over 2 Million years ago. Just 5,000 years before her grandmother's people, the Wulfen, started to venture out into the stars.
Static filled the screen before solidifying into a grainy image of a thriving ecumenopolis. Members of several races were present. Strangely, all of them had more than two eyes, two arms, and two legs. There were a few such races in the modern age, but they were few and far between.

Terassa flinched. Human Frigates may've only been 1500 meters long, well over the 1000 meter minimal limit to mount an FTL Drive, but they were also the deadliest of their class in known space. And they travelled in groups of three, so it was almost impossible to catch one alone. The ship on the screen looked to be a little smaller, and far older than the Dagger class she saw once at a museum, but it was definitely a Human warship. A bit less streamlined, and painted black as the night instead of white, but she'd know their ships anywhere.
It was impossible to jump into an atmosphere in the modern age, everyone had jammers which forced you out 6 Light Seconds from the planet. Apparently the Union had never gotten the memo. Still, if the Humans had shattered this world to pieces, then she understood. If the Union was this horrifying, then it was little wonder that they had been forced to extremes. She looked to where one of the Ensigns was returning after needing to go vomit in a trash can. The Humans of the modern age were so peaceful and kind, the most noble race you could ever come across.
("The vessel fired missiles and some kind of energy weapons, decimating our defenses. Shuttles launched to deploy troops and tanks into the city while the dust cleared. In minutes they had retaken what was left of their people and burned our entire colony. It then joined up with the other two that had been destroying everything else in the system, and left.
The response ships arrived 6 hours later to find nothing but ash and corpses. The Humans had left no survivors. We didn't understand why they would go to such levels over children, the weakest and most expendable. The Galactic Union chose to burn the Humans from the stars, and gathered a fleet of over 250 ships, the largest, most powerful force ever assembled.")
Terassa and her crew were really wishing the Bureau of Temporal Investigations would allow them to go back in time to assist in the slaughter of these... abominations. The Union had clearly been unapologetically evil. They had poked the sleeping Dragon, and paid the price. There was a reason nobody messed with Human Frigates. You didn't want a Human Cruiser, Battlecruiser, or a 15,000 meter long Dreadnought looking in on you. Still, 250 ships? Modern civilizations considered 1000 to be little more than aggressive reconnaissance in force, 10,000 was what most considered a proper attack fleet.

The rest turned to unintelligible static as a shot rang out, the alien's guts splattered all over the console, as a Human walked by, gunning down the Union officers. Terassa wondered if one of her grandfather's ancestors had been directly involved in the battle that resulted in the destruction of this planet, and vowed to make them proud by continuing to protect the innocent. Humanity's first experience with other life had not been a good one, but they still persevered and became the peaceful guardians of life she now knew.
But first, she had a report to send to Federation Central. No wonder most of Humanity chose to avoid this region of space. With her luck, all this information was right in the records and easy to find with the search function, if you actually looked. Though she guessed every civilization had some skeletons they preferred to mostly keep in the dark. No wonder most of her classes on Human history mostly concentrated on WW3 and prior. With all the friendly aliens scattered across 12 galaxies that they now knew, the Dragon that was Humanity probably just wanted to suppress some of the more horrifying images from before they met her grandmother's people.

Can i sue my nursing program for wrongfully kicking me out of school one semester before graduation ?
I have passed all of my classes with A and Bs & the school took my last payment last week. This recent course i ended with a 84, but my exam average was a 70. I got a call saying that I was getting kicked out of the whole SCHOOL (not just the course) because my exam average was a 70 not a 75. The professor told us that we needed a 75 overall in the class to pass and i’m at a 84. Im very confused and lost and english isn’t my first language I feel personally attacked. this nursing program is only 3 years old and i feel this is some scam to get my money. i paid 17k for 2 years. please help!
