He continually accuses us in our own hearts to bring feelings of guilt and failure into our lives. True guilt is that which comes from disobeying God. One reason that this approach is so effective in crushing the witness of a saint is because it is partially true. We all have failed the Lord. None of us has triumphed in power over every circumstance as we could and should have done. So when Satan accuses us, we know in our hearts that there is much truth in his accusations. But God has provided us with a way to cleanse ourselves of this sin and the guilt that accompanies it. When we realize we have failed the Lord, we confess it and He forgives and cleanses us. Once we have confessed it, the sin is gone, and our feelings of guilt are relieved. David’s experience shows us God’s method of dealing with sin: conviction, acknowledgment, confession, seeking forgiveness, receiving forgiveness, praise and joyful service ( Psalm 51; Psalm 32:3, 4; II Samuel 12:1-13). Once sin is dealt with in this manner, true guilt will disappear. The revolutionary army told a young Christian in Chad, Africa that he must submit to old animistic tribal rituals. They wanted to destroy Christianity and stimulate patriotism and loyalty by reviving the ancient pagan customs. The leaders of the churches of the area agreed together that Christians must refuse to participate in the animistic rituals. When the young man refused and was beaten, he stood firm in his faith. But when the authorities stripped him naked and beat him in front of his mother, sisters and other young ladies, his courage failed and he permitted them to perform the pagan rituals. Then he felt terrible. He had failed the Lord. His guilt was heavy. Satan tried to convince him that the Lord could never again accept him. But he knew the scriptural promises of God, and he confessed his sin. The Lord forgave him and restored his joy. He began to publicly witness to his neighbors and he was arrested. The authorities demanded that he denounce Christ or be buried alive. This time, his faith was strong and he refused to deny Christ. He was beaten and thrown into prison to await execution, but his faith grew stronger and the Lord delivered him. The oppressive government was overthrown and he was released. RESPONSE: Today I will confess my sin and receive God’s forgiveness from the guilt so that Satan cannot use this tactic against me. PRAYER: Pray that this simple and straight-forward process of relieving guilt through confession of sin will be the experience of every believer so Satan loses one more tactic today. submitted by UnDead_Ted to TheDailyDose [link] [comments] |

2023.05.30 06:08 Sweet_Author8515 My mom hands me a pasugo, here is my unnecessary detailed clapback
| My mom told me that complaining without knowing is an excuse. This was in response to me mentioning that Felix Manalo is not the “bird of prey” in Isaiah 46:11, but is rather King Cyrus II. So, she handed me a pasugo (an INC publication, aka waste of trees) telling me to read the article “Cyrus the Great and the ‘ravenous bird’”. Of course she handed me the pasugo rather than knowing how to respond to me. This stuff is not preached in INC. They just make articles and videos for all their members to point to, so they make sure they spread a controlled, constructed, and uniform message. Since she gave me this article, I’ve decided to break it down. This is the reason I left INC, since it is one of the few verses the INC uses to validate them as “the one true church”. If the idea that a prophesied Asian messenger (Manalo) is disproven, then it is enough to dismiss the INC as a prophesied true church. TL;DR is at the bottom :) [1] INC Article: (iglesianicristo. ws/My%20GM/GM-2021/GM-2021-08.pdf) Cyrus the Great and the ‘ravenous bird’ By Jensen DG. Manebog Comments: The author is primarily a writer, not a historian or Hebrew expert. First of all, the author of the article is an educated writer and teacher. He is not formally educated in the Bible, or in Hebrew, which is a large part of his following argument. Neither am I. But rather than cherry pick proofs to support an argument, I start with the evidence to come to a conclusion. Here are some of his writings if you’re interested: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/jensenis; https://www.overdrive.com/publishers/jensen-dg-manebog INC articles: iglesianicristo. net/category/our-beliefs/page/2/ iglesianicristo. net/number-dont-make-a-religion-true/ pasugo. com.ph/a-mission-no-less-than-great-noble-and-heroic [2] INC Article: In the Book of Isaiah, one messenger of God was likened to a ravenous bird: “Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it” (Isa. 46:11 King James Version). The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is of firm conviction that the fulfillment of this prophecy of God is none other than Brother Felix Y. Manalo (1886-1963). Detractors of the Church, such as teachers and defenders of some other religions, expectedly refute it— claiming that the fulfillment of the prophesied “ravenous bird” is Cyrus the Great. Also called Cyrus II (590-529 BC), he was the Persian conqueror who “founded the Achaemenian empire, centred on Persia and comprising the Near East from the Aegean Sea eastward to the Indus River” (britannica.com). Comments: Context! Context! Context! This entire section of Isaiah is about the prophesied defeat of Babylon (shown both before and after the Isaiah 46:11 verse). I didn’t think I would be telling other adults how to read a book, but here I am. Just like the story of Adam and Eve, we read it all the way through. In previous verses, like Isaiah 45:1, Cyrus is explicitly mentioned. This is in the surrounding context that he is prophesied to defeat Babylon and to bring salvation to the Jews, as they would be able to return to their homeland after Babylon is defeated (also mentioned in Ezra 8 1-32. Cyrus is in Ezra 1:1-6). Before the 46:11 verse - Isaiah 45:1 KJV, about Cyrus: 1 This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again. This is what the Lord says: "I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. After the 46:11 verse - Isaiah 48:14 KJV, about Babylon: 14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The Lord hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans. To think the Bible would be like, “Hey I’m talking about my man Cyrus and how I’m sending him. Oh and here’s a quick shoutout of one to three verses about an Asian man over 2000 years from now. Okay now back to Babylon! [3] INC Article: The argument Some of such teachers use the works of Bible scholars and commentators for their contention. One of these is Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers (biblehub.com) which suggests that the “ravenous bird” in Isaiah 46:11 is Cyrus, explaining that the “sun-rising” or “east” from where the messenger would come “is, of course, Persia,” and “the ‘far country’ probably represents Media,” one of the kingdoms Cyrus has conquered. Comments: Other Asian churches use this verse to say they are the true church. A vast majority of circles agree that 46:11 is uncontestedly referring to Persia. I can only find the several Asian “true churches” to suggest otherwise. Another one, for example, is a South Korean cult using this verse for their South Korean Jesus named Christ Ahnsahnghong, who also claims to be the only true church ( https://wmscog.com/christ-ahnsahnghong/from-the-east/). If they can use it, so can other Asian churches of this kind. [4] INC Article: Others further try to prove that the “ravenous bird” or “bird of prey” is King Cyrus by pointing to The Living Bible, which literally includes the name “Cyrus” in Isaiah 46:11, thus: “I will call that swift bird of prey from the east— that man Cyrus from far away. And he will come and do my bidding. I have said I would do it and I will.” Comments: Historically, King Cyrus’ banner was a golden eagle (a bird of prey, ravenous bird ;), as used in the Achaemenid Empire (as noted by Persian archaeologist, A. Shapur Shahbazi, “DERAFŠ”; [Xenophon, Cyropaedia 7.1.4] https://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/derafs#prettyPhoto). Other translations use “eagle” in the 46:11 verse. In any case, an eagle is a bird of prey. Golden Eagle Banner There is a biblical pattern of other monarchs like Cyrus are compared to eagles or birds, because of how swiftly they act or attack. Why would Felix Manalo need to be portrayed that way? Could he even move that fast? Some verses about these other monarchs: Jeremiah 48:39-40 They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him. 40 For thus saith the Lord; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab. Jeremiah 49:22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. Ezekiel 17:2-3 Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: Ezekiel 17:7 There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. [5] INC Article: Others further try to prove that the “ravenous bird” or “bird of prey” is King Cyrus by pointing to The Living Bible, which literally includes the name “Cyrus” in Isaiah 46:11, thus: “I will call that swift bird of prey from the east— that man Cyrus from far away. And he will come and do my bidding. I have said I would do it and I will.” A paraphrase of the Bible The Living Bible is a paraphrase of the Bible by Kenneth Taylor. It must be noted that “a paraphrase attempts to tell the reader what the passage means” and thus is more of a commentary on the text of Scripture than it is an accurate rendering of what the text actually says” (blueletterbible.org). Indeed, to say that the “ravenous bird” in Isaiah 46:11 refers to King Cyrus is “more of a commentary,” for the name Cyrus (Koresh) cannot be found in Isaiah 46:11 in Hebrew manuscripts, such as the Westminster Leningrad Codex (biblehub.com). Even in the Orthodox Jewish Bible, the phrase that is supposed to read “that man Cyrus from faraway” (in The Living Bible) is simply rendered, “ish [the man] that executeth My etza (cousel, purpose, plan) from a far country”—that is, no mention of “Korest” (Cyrus). Those who use The Living Bible to jump to the conclusion that Cyrus is the prophesied messenger in Isaiah 46:11 commit a big mistake, for they did not heed the warning given by that version itself, in its preface: “There are dangers in paraphrases… For whenever the author’s exact words are not translated from the original languages, there is a possibility that the translator, however honest, may be giving the [is a possibility that the translator, however honest, may be giving the] English reader something that the original writer did not mean to say.” Comments: The article misleads readers by claiming their source says “Cyrus” is more of a commentary, since he is only explicitly mentioned in The Living Bible**. But they are not just using TLB to “jump to the conclusion” that Cyrus is the subject; they are using THE BIBLE. People do not only point to TLB for evidence that Cyrus is the bird of prey. He is not mentioned by name but the context is enough. Cyrus will even be mentioned in footnotes, commentaries, and even other translations like the Message BIble, Amplified Bible, and The Voice (translations which INC uses). And if they are dissing TLB as a source, why does INC use it on their website when discussing resurrection (iglesianicristo. net/sharing-in-christs-resurrection/) and the true church (iglesianicristo .net/tag/true-church/)? And seemingly attacking others who also would use a translation that is in their favor? Hippocrickkkk… Even the blueletterbible.org source cites that the bird of prey in Isaiah 46:11 is figurative of an invader. What did Manalo invade? (our pockets) Side note: in the last paragraph, a part is repeated in my printed copy, but not in the digital copy. Was no one proofreading this beforehand? [6] INC Article: The prophecies fulfilled in Cyrus In the Bible itself, Cyrus did not claim that he was the prophesied “ravenous bird.” Instead, he introduced himself as the fulfillment of other prophecies: “Thus says Cyrus the king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up!” (II Chr. 36:23 New King James Version ). Notice that Cyrus did not say that he was the “ravenous bird.” Rather, he said, “All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me”—a fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah 45:1: “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him” (NKJV). Cyrus also stated, “He [God] has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem.” This, in turn, corresponds to the prophecy in Isaiah 44:28: “He is My shepherd, And he shall perform all My pleasure, Saying to Jerusalem, ‘You shall be built,’ And to the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid’”. (NKJV). These prophecies were fulfilled in Cyrus when he conquered kingdoms, such as Babylon. “After Cyrus freed the Jews from exile in Babylon in 538 B.C., they returned to Jerusalem to rebuild their temple” (nationalgeographic.com). Comments: If the standard is that you have to claim to be the prophesied “ravenous bird”, where is Felix Manalo’s written claim that he is the “ravenous bird”? Also notice that this section has the most complete Bible quotes, because Cyrus and his prophecies are biblical, whereas Felix can’t be as easily cited in the Bible (or at all). [7] INC Article: The place of origin of the ‘ravenous bird’ In Hebrew manuscripts such as the Westminster Leningrad Codex, the “east” in Isaiah 46:11 from which the “ravenous bird” will come is “mīzrāḥ” (biblehub.com). Concerning the term “east” in the Old Testament, the McClintock and Strong Biblical Cyclopedia explains: “...Kedem is used in a strictly geographical sense to describe a spot or country immediately before another in an easterly direction … on the other hand, mizrach is used of the far east with a less definite signification (Isa 41:2, 25; Isa 43:5; Isa 46:11).” (biblicalcyclopedia.com) Comments: The last part of the definition really contradicts INC’s point. “...mizrach is used of the far east with a less definite signification” means exactly that. It is just an unspecified east direction, not the modern version of the Far East. Just because the phrase “far east” is in there, they think they got us! The term “mizrach” that INC tries to relate to the far east and to the Philippines is used OVER 70 TIMES in the Bible. They never claim all of these verses are talking about the Philippines or even Asia. Here are some examples of mizrach (from biblehub’s lexicon) used in context to refer to something that is clearly not Asia. For context, the actual language in Isaiah 46:11 in Hebrew is “mimmizrach” ( https://biblehub.com/lexicon/isaiah/46-11.htm). “Mizrach” is “east” and “mimmizrach” is “from the east” (mim is the masculine preposition “from”) ( https://www.hebrew4christians.com/GrammaUnit_Seven/The_Preposition_Min/the_preposition_min.html#:~:text=The%20Preposition%20Min&text=The%20preposition%20min%20). Josh 17:10 - mimmizrach is used to describe Issachar, which is a place near the Mediterranean Sea (middle east today) Southward it was Ephraim’s, northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea was its border. Manasseh’s territory was adjoining Asher on the north and Issachar on the east (mimmizrach). Psalm 107:3 - mimmizrach is used to say that the Lord delivers people from every direction O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east (mimmizrach), and from the west, from the north, and from the south. Daniel 11:2,44 - mimmizrah is used to describe the prophecy of four kings of Persia 2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia. 44 But tidings out of the east (mimmizrach) and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. Exodus 27:13 - mizrachah (form of mizrach) discusses the east side of a court area The width of the court on the east side (mizrachah) shall be fifty cubits. 2 Chronicles 5:12 - mizrah used to describe the east end of an altar Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:) Here are all the other occurrences of the word if you are crazier than I am: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/strongs_4217.htm. Because mizrach is used in these other examples to not refer to Asia, as Asia wasn’t even a though in these biblical writers’ heads, the instances that mizrach appear are not referring to Asia. And once a pick-and-choose church, always a pick-and-choose church, because after this definition provided, in the same source, the NEXT SENTENCE says kedem and mizrach are used without preference: “In describing aspect or direction, the terms are used indifferently (comp. kedem in Le 1:16, and Jos 7:2, with mizrach in 2Ch 5:12, and 1Ch 5:10). ( https://www.biblicalcyclopedia.com/E/east.html) Here’s a graphic from this same reddit about this topic: https://i.redd.it/exposing-the-iglesia-ni-cristo-cult-dishonest-tv-journalism-v0-gcwtpuwyzob81.jpg?s=f6782a6051a6e46699b859396ae4be6088649c25 Here is where INC shoots itself in the foot. They mention Cyrus fulfilled his prophecy by conquering kingdoms and was given nations. In Isaiah 41:2 it mentions a person who is given nations and ruled over kings. This is in the context and fits the definition of what they think Cyrus fulfilled. BUT it uses the word “mizrach” as his origin. Cyrus and mizrach are compatible. First, INC concedes that Isaiah 45:1 is about Cyrus (because his name is in the verse, duh): “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have [a]held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut: INC lists Isaiah 41:2 as one that includes the word “mizrach”. Let’s look at the verse: “Who raised up one from the east? Who in righteousness called him to His feet? Who gave the nations before him, And made him rule over kings? Who gave them as the dust to his sword, As driven stubble to his bow? Sounds a lot like Cyrus, huh? Even according to INC, “These prophecies were fulfilled in Cyrus when he conquered kingdoms, such as Babylon”. Especially since this is in the chapters about Babylon, this is clearly about Cyrus. The two verses both use the same Hebrew words for “subdue”, “nations” and “kings”. And they both use the same word for “east”—mizrach. Obviously Manalo wouldn’t fulfill this prophecy of ruling over kings or giving them dust to his sword, so it is referencing Cyrus. And in referencing Cyrus, it uses mizrach. So mizrach can be used in the context of Cyrus. [8] INC Article: Notice that the “mizrach is used of the far east.” Obviously, Cyrus did not come from the Far East—for his origin, Persia, and even Media, are in the ancient near east (encyclopedia.com; courses.lumenlearning.com). The Hebrew word used for the “east” to refer to Persia is not “mizrach” but “qedhem” (kedem) (Aid to Bible Understanding, pg. 478). Comments: INC is misleading and comes to an incorrect conclusion when quoting Aid to Bible Understanding**.** The INC article states that the Hebrew word to refer to Persia is qedhem, not mizrach. The exact same source they cite ( https://archive.org/details/aidtobibleunderstanding1971/page/n479/mode/2up) says that mizrach means “rising” (as in the sun) and not any sense of “far east”, since Hebrews used the rising of the sun to determine their direction. Qedhem is generally east or east in relation to something else. The source lists examples of qedhem used with “the lands of Moab and Amon, the Arabian Desert, Babylonia, Persia, Assyria and Armenia. It does NOT say that mizrach was never used for these places as well. The same source in a later paragraph also says Isaiah 46:11 is a reference to Cyrus, who comes from the east, out of the sunrising. Clearly this source is not saying that mizrach was never used in reference to Persia, but INC makes it seem like they are saying this. If only INC would read all of their source material, like I dunno, the Bible. [9] INC Article: Pertinent prophecies also specify the place of origin in the Far East of the “ravenous bird” as the “islands of the sea” (Isa. 24:15 New International Version). Unlike Cyrus, Brother Felix Manalo is undoubtedly from an archipelago in the Far East. The Philippines, where he began preaching God’s words, is “almost at the geographical center of the Far East” (Asia and the Philippines, p. 169) consisting of 7,641 islands (worldatlas.com). Comments: There are other “islands of the sea” than the Philippines and the Hebrew term also refers to “coastlands”. The INC deliberately uses a translation that says “islands” rather than “coastlands”, which would be an acceptable translation. The Hebrew word used here is “ ‘i ”. As Aid to Bible Understanding states, ‘i is “not restricted to a body of land smaller than a continent and completely surrounded by water … but also designates dry land or coastland(s)” ( https://archive.org/details/aidtobibleunderstanding1971/page/n851/mode/2up). So it’s not a perfect translation to English. Here is Isaiah 24:15 NIV: Therefore in the east give glory to the Lord; exalt the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. Like earlier, the “islands” or “coastlands” is likely Media, off the coast of the Persian Sea. Besides the obvious coastlands near the Mediterranean Sea, there are islands in the Bible, none of which are in Asia. Most of them with one exception are in the New Testament (in Greek). These are the islands of Cyprus (Acts 13:4-6), Cos, Rhodes (Acts 21:1), Crete (Acts 27:7), Cauda (Acts 27:16), Malta (Acts 28:1) and Patmos (Rev 1:9). The island in the Old Testament is Arvad in Ezekiel 27:8 and Genesis 10:18. This island city is now called Ruad and is off the coast of Syria ( https://bibleatlas.org/arvad.htm). So yes, the Philippines contains islands, but so do other places in the world. [10] INC Article: The mission The man likened to a “ravenous bird” was tasked to bring God’s righteousness near to the stubborn-hearted who are far from righteousness (Isa. 46:11-13). God’s righteousness is revealed in the gospel (Rom. 1:16-17) and to bring it near is to “preach the gospel” and “He who believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:15-16 NKJV). Comments: INC tries to make “righteousness” the same thing as “the gospel” just so that Cyrus doesn’t fit the prophecy. If the definition doesn’t fit your narrative, change it! This part slams a bunch of verses together to try to connect the dots between the ravenous bird and the preaching of the gospel. The verses Isaiah 46:12-13 NKJV mention righteousness: “Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness: 13 I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not [a]linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory. INC goes all the way to the New Testament to cherry pick Romans 1:16:17 to manufacture a direct connection between righteousness and the gospel. Romans 1:16-17 NKJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel [ a]of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Here, righteousness is IN the gospel, but righteousness is NOT the gospel itself. It is clearer in an INC video, where they state that God’s righteousness IS the gospel (youtube.com/watch?v=MdLq0MFDBe4). Instead, righteousness is justice, suggesting a standard or norm (Aid to Bible Understanding, https://archive.org/details/aidtobibleunderstanding1971/page/n1411/mode/2up). And the last verse, Isaiah 46:13 means “my righteous judgment is approaching - that judgment which involves vengeance on my enemies, mercy and deliverance to my people” (Pulpit Commentary, ( https://biblehub.com/isaiah/46-13.htm). Righteousness needed to be brought near because the people needed to be saved from Babylon. It does not necessarily include preaching the gospel. Thus, Cyrus still fits in. And that last random Mark verse? What is marky mark doing here? [11] INC Article (the last part, I promise)****: Notice the stark contrast: Whereas Cyrus’ God-given role was to subdue nations, the man likened to “ravenous bird” was commissioned to preach the gospel or God’s words for man’s salvation. In fulfillment, Brother Manalo did exactly that. Despite ferocious oppositions primarily form the dominant religions in his time, he devotedly taught the pristine gospel truths recorded in the Bible. For instance, he taught that the Father is the only true God (John 17:1, 3; I Cor. 8:6), showing in the process that the so-called Trinity is unscriptural. He preached that faith without good works is dead (James 2:17, 14, 22) and that man should enter Christ’s fold or flock, which is the Church Of Christ, in order to be saved (John 10:9 Revised English Bible; Acts 20:28 Lamsa Translation; Eph. 5:23). The legacy Against all odds, Brother Felix Manalo carried out his divine mission to teach God’s pure teachings for man’s salvation in these last days. This he devotedly fulfilled until he breathed his last on April 12, 1963, full of years and momentous accomplishments. The words that he had performed are the very proofs of his commissioning as God’s messenger. Both Cyrus the Great and the “ravenous bird” were entrusted with God-given mission. The Perisan king conquered earthly kingdoms for the Lord, while Brother Felix Manalo subdued false faiths by revealing God’s wisdom that leads to salvation. Comments (I’ll make it short, I KNOW THIS IS ALREADY LONG. STOP JUDGING ME)****: The rest of the article lists some teachings of Manalo’s that are beyond the scope of the Cyrus discussion, so will not be mentioned here. And in the end, they always make it about Manalo. Since there is no prophecy about Manalo that shows up randomly in verses about Babylon and Cyrus, or in any verses in general, Manalo can be dismissed as the messenger they make him out to be. *************************************************************************************** WTL;DR,BTPIAKOLSIS (Way Too Long; Didn’t Read, But This Part Is Also Kind Of Long So I’m Sorry) Felix Manalo is most obviously not referenced in Isaiah 46:11, or Isaiah in general, simply because of the context. This entire section of Isaiah is about the prophesied defeat of Babylon (shown both before and after the Isaiah 46:11 verse), carried out by King Cyrus II. Other Asian churches also use this verse to say they are the true church from the far East, like followers of the South Korean Jesus, Christ Ahnsahnghong. “Bird of prey” or “ravenous bird” can also be translated as “eagle” from Hebrew. It is correlated with King Cyrus because his banner was a golden eagle, as used in the Achaemenid Empire. There is also a biblical pattern of monarchs like Cyrus being compared to eagles or birds because of how swiftly they act or attack. There is no reason that Manalo would need to act that way. As for the “far east” claim, the Hebrew word is “mizrach”, which in fact does not mean “far east”. The article even quotes that “mizrach is used of the far east with a less definite signification”. This means it is just an unspecified east direction, not the modern version of the Far East. The same word is used over 70 times in the Bible and in each case does not mean the Far East, even other places near the Mediterranean Sea. The word “kedem” that INC says means “immediate east” is used without preference with “mizrach”. INC would agree that Isaiah 41:2 is about Cyrus, because of how Cyrus subdued nations, but it uses the word “mizrach”. Lastly, they claim that Manalo fulfills the Isaiah 46:11 prophecy because the righteousness in the verse is the same thing as preaching the gospel. However, they incorrectly think that righteousness is the same thing as the gospel. Preaching the gospel isn’t necessary for there to be righteousness. Therefore, Cyrus fits the bill for this prophecy. *************************************************************************************** TL;DR Isaiah 46:11 refers to King Cyrus II, and not to Felix Manalo. Like Joshua and Caleb and the Apostle Paul, we see with faith what He sees in each person (to help each reach fullness), group (many streams and backgrounds in unity) and nations (sheep vs. goat nations). Our passion is to love, connect, equip and send with the simplicity, fullness, and power of the Gospel.
The Uncompromising Blissful Extravagance of His Presence! Inbox
By CMM.World CMMTheology.org - November 10, 2022
Dear Mighty One,
I see the Lord's eye upon us we discover by revelation the 'new thing' He is doing in our lives and of those of us who, beyond the present darkness, gaze into His eyes. The 'tuning fork' of Yahweh is orchestrating the sons and daughters of our living God in growing holy remnant unity to withstand as we stand with Him fearlessly in the boldness of the faith of God in this hour. Egypt is behind us, and the covenantal promises and prophetic words we have received (1 Tim. 1:18) empower us by His Holy Spirit to advance in warfare, humbly growing in the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

Yesterday as I encouraged some friends, I said, 'stay in the blissful extravagance of His presence.' Today I saw in Psalm 34 His eyes are upon us in vs. 8 & 9 and v:15 about the 'uncompromisingly righteous.' We are to be holy as He is holy. That leaves no room for any more compromise or seeking to please man or the traditions of men, being free of the fear of man, the religious spirit, and any demonic activity. We are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Lord, help us understand by revelation to walk in all the authority we have been given by Jesus Christ.
Psalm 34:8-9 'O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.'
v. 15 'The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry.'

Prophetic Encouragement for 2022 by Jorge Parrott
By CMM.World CMMTheology.org - January 02, 2022

Prophetic Encouragement for 2022 By Jorge Parrott (all scriptures NKJV) (Graphic art by Nancy G. Daniel) Despite the impending wars, division, chaos, calamity, and deceptive controls we hear the voice of our Lord at times speaking, or roaring, or whispering, and breathing on the sons of God. Are we listening yet? Heaven’s roar is clear to those with an ear to hear what the Spirit of the Living God is saying. This year holds untold opportunities, many answered prayers, and the cries of many hearts if we arise to walk obediently in His fullness, not growing weary in well-doing, nor fainting in the heat of this fiery battle. Deut. 6:4 ‘ The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.’ Jesus was asked many questions. What should you ask

Highlights Of Our Amazing Trip To The Holy Land With Chris Reed And Bart Peacher

Highlights Of Our Amazing Trip To The Holy Land With Chris Reed And Bart Peacher Prov. 16:9 ' A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.' We are continually blessed and in awe of how the Lord breathes and moves in our lives. As we press into the high calling of Jesus Christ and we grow in intimacy and trust by faith, His love, grace, and mercy unfold in surprising ways. I had not been to Israel since 2017. So much has changed in the world since then as we see the tremendous acceleration of the times and seasons. Chaos, control, and corruption are increasing at an alarming rate. Our only hope is in Jesus Christ and His righteousness. Divine Encounters Abound As We Are Led By Holy Spirit And Make Ourselves Available Many churches are led by their pursuit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil instead of the knowledge of the Tree of Life. As we surrender fully to the Holy Spirit, we learn to walk in deep humility and attenti

2023.05.29 23:31 afroglobalministries Share4Christ - He Will Be Right On Time!
“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil” 1 Peter 3:12, NKJV.
“Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word” Jeremiah 1:12, NKJV.
When you don’t see anything happening, it can be challenging to remain confident and encouraged that God will come through when you need Him to. This is especially when you are in a challenging situation. But know this: God’s eyes are on you, His ears are toward you, and He will be right on time.
God sees you, He has heard you, and He is moving on your behalf. God is moving like an underground workman, handling all the intricate details of your prayers, of your life, that you can’t see. His angels move at His word on your behalf, in your marriage, on the provision, the opportunities, the favor, and the open doors that we can’t see. He sees our immediate need and the things we don’t even realize we need. He is bringing about His perfect will for you.
Your God never sleeps nor slumbers, and He never fails to perform His word. Praise Him now with confidence because God is always in control and will be right on time.
Prayer: Thank You, Father, for encouraging me. I am having to trust You. It brings me joy knowing that You see me, hear me, and are always on time. You won’t be late. Give me great peace today. I ask for patience as I wait on You. I will praise You now. Hallelujah! In Jesus Christ awesome name, Amen!

2023.05.27 20:58 VeganNazarite Let’s Put It to the Test: Hebrews, Part 3
Shabbat shalom everyone! Today I’m continuing the most important lesson ever. Many say that Yeshua abolished the Mosaic Law, and that the Old Testament is long gone and obsolete. Is the Law and the Prophets abolished? Let’s put the some of the writings of the New Testament to the test of the Law and the Prophets.
Last week we continued the study on Hebrews. We learned that Paul elaborates on the human nature of Yeshua, and that because he was human as we are, rabbi Yeshua can understand and help us with our quest to remove ourselves from the temptations of the things of the world.
Again, we can see that looking at the New Testament writings with the lens of the Torah, that the verses become clearer and there are no contradictions. Here is the score far:
The Torah: 14
Doctrines of Devils: 0
Let’s keep sharpening our proverbial spears and swords, which is the Word. Let’s continue our study of Paul’s epistle to the Hebrews. God willing, we will find new treasures greater than gold and silver.
Hebrews chapter 3:1-6
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;[2] Who faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. [3] For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses***, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.***
[4] For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. [5] And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; [6] But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Paul starts chapter three by declaring that Yeshua is the high priest and the builder of the house of Israel and as the builder, Yeshua has greater authority then the servants that help build it. As the owner of the house, Yeshua is able to honor all the promises from Father as declared to us by the Law and the prophets. But Paul states that we must keep the faith in Yahweh’s promises to the end.
Hebrews chapter 3:7-19
[7] Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, [8] Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. [10] Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. [11] So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) [12] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [14] For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; [15] While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.[16] For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. [17] But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?[18] And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? [19] So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Next, Paul quotes Psalm 85:7-11, then he warns us not to harden our hearts if we hear the voice of God or His spirit. He instead recommends us to exhort each other daily and uses the story of the exodus from the Torah to give us an example of what happens to those who cling to their hard hearts and disbelief. Those did not enter in God’s rest, but rather fell in desert and never saw the promised land.
That reminds me of a similar passage in the Book of Acts. Stephen says a very similar verse in Acts 7:51 it’s one of the last words he said after getting stoned by the crowd.
Steven held his faith until the end. How far will you hold to your faith?
Next week we will continue with chapter 4.
Don’t take it from me! Prove all things and judge for yourself. Let the spirit lead you where it wants you to be.
Yeshua is our master, savior and rabbi, we need no other man to lead us!
Shalom, VN

2023.05.27 20:23 ZacInStl Psalm 89, Saturday, May 27, 2023
Psalms 89 (KJV) Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite.
Psalms 89:1 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.
Psalms 89:5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD?
who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all
them that are about him.
8 O LORD God of hosts, who
is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
11 The heavens
are thine, the earth also
is thine:
as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand,
and high is thy right hand.
14 Justice and judgment
are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Psalms 89:15 Blessed
is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
17 For thou
art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 For the LORD
is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel
is our king.
Psalms 89:19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon
one that ismighty; I have exalted
one chosen out of the people.
20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
24 But my faithfulness and my mercy
shall bewith him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 He shall cry unto me, Thou
art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 Also I will make him
my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
29 His seed also will I make
to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and
as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
Psalms 89:38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
39Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown
by casting it to the ground.
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
46 How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
48 What man
is he thatliveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
49 Lord, where
are thy former lovingkindnesses,
which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants;
how I do bear in my bosom
the reproach of all the mighty people;
51Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52 Blessed
be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
Before we get into this psalm, we should first introduce ourselves to Ethan. His name means “enduring”, as in permanently lasting. He is mentioned as being wise (just not as wise as Solomon) in 1 Kings 4:31, and I’ll include the previous verses for context. So it seems he lived during the end of David’s reign, into Solomon’s.
1Kings 4:29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. 30 And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. 31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about. [emphasis mine]
The context of Ethan’s life is important enough that God saw fit to include it in the scriptures. And from this timeline, I am of the opinion that this was written about the timeframe that David had to abandon his own throne as he hid from his son Absalom. Because this Psalm is “Maschil”, it is meant to be instructive in nature. It draws parallels between the lives of David and the Lord Jesus Christ, so parts of this psalm are prophetic and give a foreshadowing of Jesus as the Messiah, who will one day rule from Jerusalem on the Throne of David.
V 1-4: God makes it clear that his covenant with David is part of his mercy to all the world. And it certainly is!
- It is only because Jesus came to fulfill God’s covenant’s with Abraham, Moses, and David, that we have the gospel today. Jesus fulfilled the promises that through Abraham all the families of the earth would be blessed. He fulfilled the law of Moses to be our perfect, spotless, sinless Lamb of God.
- He was born of the lineage and household of David, and when he returns, he WILL claim his rightful throne. And when God makes a promise, he ALWAYS keeps his word.
- So in the context of David’s life, Ezra was reminding everyone who the rightful king still was.
- And as a prophetic foreshadowing of Christ Jesus, we can count on the promise of his second coming just as sure as he we are sure that he came the first time as God promised.
V 5-14: Who can compare to the power of God? V8 calls him “O LORD God of Hosts (Jehovah Elohim Tsabah), which literally translates as “The SELF-EXISTENT ONE, who’s is the Strong One above all, who leads the armies of heaven (
as in the ranks of angels).
- He rightfully asks “who is a strong LORD like unto thee?” The implication in David’s life is that if God anointed him king, who can stop his will? (See 1 Samuel 17:45 and 2 Samuel 7:26-27/1 Chronicles 17:24).
- And the foreshadowing of Jesus is that HE IS THIS LORD OF HOSTS (see Psalm 24). Jesus is the one who leads the armies of heaven and sits in final judgment over the souls of men! (See Revelation 19:11-20:15)
V 15-18: Erza rejoiced in the protection of God.
- So many times God protected David from King Saul, and the Philistines. It was Ezra’s confidence that God would still protect him as he was running for his life.
- You can even draw the parallel that David’s own hiding was because he wanted to find a way to spare Absalom’s life (see 2 Samuel 18:12 and 2 Samuel 18:29-33).
- Likewise, so many times Jesus was spared the wrath of the Pharisees when they wanted to stone him, until the night at Gethsemane when it was his appointed hour for the salvation of the world through his death on the cross.
V 19-37: Ezra sings of God keeping his covenant with David
- God’s promise to keep David on the throne was just as valid as his promise to judge him for his sin with Bathsheba
- God’s promise to protect Israel if she was faithful was just as valid as his promise to scatter them in judgment if they failed to keep the covenant (see 2 Chronichles chapter 7).
- God’s promise to protect his children in their obedience is just as valid as his promise to correct his children in their disobedience.
- God”s promise to keep the seed of David on the throne was not broken because of the captivity, or by the death of Jesus, because he rose from the dead by his own power. He WILL keep that promise in his return!
V 38-52: Ezra now comes to the point where he presents God with his admission of his incomplete understanding of the situation. He knows God made a covenant, and keeps his promises, but he struggled to grasp why God allowed it to happen this way.
- He forgot (or at least de-emphasized) the fact that David’s running was the result of his own sin with Bathsheba.
- He focused on the present, and it disrupted his faith 8n the long-view of the future.
- We have the same problem today, where we blame God for troubles that aren’t his fault. It is our sins and the sins of others that bring the troubles we face into this world. We often want God to intervene on our behalf supernaturally because it’s convenient to us, not because it is the most righteous course of action.
- We see this also in the lives of the apostles in their reaction to the arrest and crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. It took the instruction and work of restoration by the resurrected Lord himself to change their viewpoint. But when that happened, they turned the world upside down!
- We must have this faith to be a mature Christian. We must get the long-view of God’s plan and keep that as our focus.

2023.05.26 10:30 Inspired_By_God The Parable of the Ten Virgins
It was 21 March 2023 between 02:00–03:00
Introduction: While reading the book of Jeremiah, the apocalyptic language of chapter 7 verses 19-34, caught my attention.
Together with its consequences:
- “I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, for the land will become desolate.” – Jeremiah 7:34 NIV
Similarly, the apocalyptic language of Jeremiah chapter 16:
- “They shall perish by the sword and by famine, and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth.” – Jeremiah 16:4c ESV.
Together, with its consequences:
- “For this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Before your eyes and in your days I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in this place.” – Jeremiah 16:9 NIV
This in turn, reminded me of this following
polar opposite setting:
- “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.” – Matthew 24:38 NIV
Reader, please take note: The context of the above cited verses in Jeremiah, are referring to a future event that will be highly troublesome for any bride, in the midst of calamity. Whereas the verse in Matthew is taking place in the midst of normality that is on the brink of calamity!!!
Now with this important backdrop we can continue: Jesus’ sermon on the mount can be found in Matthew Chapters 24 and 25. And, this polar opposite verse, that is cited above, is part of a teaching that Jesus gives in Matthew 24:36-51, with a title -
No man knows that Day and Hour. Then I realized that
The Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25 is an overflow of this previous teaching in Matthew 24, namely;
No man knows that Day and Hour.
Therefore, I compared them, side by side, in order to gain more insight into
The Parable of the Ten Virgins: Comparison-1: The teaching on;
No man knows that Day and Hour, opens up with this verse:
- “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” – Matthew 24:36 NIV
And the content of;
The Parable of the Ten Virgins, concludes with the same message:
- “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” – Matthew 25:13 NIV
Comparison -2: The teaching;
No man knows that Day and Hour, contains this verse that is cited in the Introduction:
- “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.” – Matthew 24:38 NIV
Which reminds one of:
- “Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and the LORD closed the door behind him.” – Genesis 7:16 NASB
And its counterpart verse in;
The Parable of the Ten Virgins: - “Later the others also came. Lord, Lord, they said, open the door for us!” – Matthew 25:11 NIV
Comparison -3: Here are well-known verses in the teaching;
No man knows that Day and Hour: - “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” – Matthew 24:40-41 NIV
And, here is its counterpart in;
The Parable of the Ten Virgins: - Where the Lord takes the wise virgins and the unwise virgins were left behind: “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.” – Matthew 25:10 NIV
Comparison -4: These verses in the teaching;
No man knows that Day and Hour, mentions a wise servant who is ready for the Masters return:
- “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.” – Matthew 24:42-46 NIV
And the counterpart verse in;
The Parable of the Ten Virgins: - “The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.” – Matthew 25:4 NIV
Comparison -5: The impending Judgement awaiting those left behind in the teaching;
No man knows that Day and Hour, is graphically described in the following to verses:
- “The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 24:50-51 NIV
And the counterpart verses in;
The Parable of the Ten Virgins, for the unwise virgins:
- “Later the others also came. Lord, Lord, they said, open the door for us! But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.” – Matthew 25:11-12 NIV
Interim conclusions: The Parable of the Ten Virgins with all its beauty, for the bride and Bridegroom, is indeed taking place in the midst of normality. However, it is on the brink of calamity.
The Parable of the Ten Virgins therefore clearly reveals that there is a snatching away of the true church before the calamity strikes (Mt 25:11-12).
- Just like the example that Jesus uses about Noah and his family who were removed out of the scene of calamity (Mt 24:38). Or, the parallel passage in Luke 17 of Lot and his daughters being removed before calamity strikes.
- As well as the example of one who is taken and the other left behind (Mt 24: 40-41).
[And note, that Jesus did not choose an example like that of Israel who were protected from calamity while they were in the very midst of that calamity, during the ten plagues.] The when and the what? Including a brief overview: My current view is that the bride of Christ will get taken away before the Tribulation calamities begin, as described in the book of Revelation chapters 6-19.
These verses also give credence a normal setting and a catching away of the bride before the Tribulation calamities:
- “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” – 1 Thessalonians 1:10 ESV
- “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” – Luke 21:36 NKJV
- “Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.” – Revelation 3:10 ESV
Hence the wise virgins seem to be taken to Heaven as the bride of Christ prior to the start of the Tribulation and not within the Tribulation period:
- So, “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like” Wise “Virgins who were ready” Who “went in with Him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.” (Matt 25:1a, 25:10b)
We also get a peek of the bride in heaven, while those on earth are in the time of Tribulation:
- “They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” – Revelation 17:14 NIV
- “Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure. For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.” – Revelation 19:7-8 BSB
And as for those who are left behind; there certainly
“will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matt 25:51) for they will be in the calamity of tribulation (Matt 24:9,21). [Also known as; The Day of the Lord (Is 13:6), The time of Jacobs trouble (Jer 30:7), etc.] And, this time of calamity on earth is also compared to “birth pains” in scripture (Jer 30:6, Matt 24:8, 1 Thess 5:3, Is 13:6-9 etc.) Nevertheless, God being a God of mercy, will once again give an opportunity for them to repent and turn to Him in order to be saved. And this will happen during:
- The preaching and witnessing of the 144,000 redeemed from the 12 tribes of Israel (Rev 7:1-8, Rev 14:1-5).
- The two witnesses preaching in the streets of Jerusalem (Rev 11:1-14).
- An angel flying overhead, preaching the gospel (Rev 14:6-7).
However, regardless of your eschatological (study of end time) views; we are all encouraged to be wise, which in the above cited verses imply: Faithful, busy, ready, waiting and watching for our Bridegrooms’ return. This is also inline with the biblical doctrine of imminence.
- “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” – Matthew 25:13 NIV
For, this seems to be the essence of:

2023.05.26 08:18 technitoudromou Questions for Christadelphians about transgression of God's law and infant mortality
Here then is the explanation of why we die: it is because of sin, which is defined as the transgression of God's law (1 John 3:4).
The statement that "we die because of sin" suggests that death is a direct consequence of individual sinning. However, infant mortality raises questions about the fairness and justice of this perspective. Infants who die at a young age cannot be held accountable for personal transgressions since they lack the cognitive and moral capacity to understand and commit sins. It would be unjust to attribute their deaths solely to their own transgressions of God's law.
Lack of Moral Agency: Infant mortality raises questions about the concept of sin as the transgression of the law because newborn infants lack the cognitive and moral capacity to consciously violate divine laws. How can infants, who have not yet developed the ability to understand or make moral choices, be held responsible for transgressing God's law?
Inherited Consequences: If sin is solely defined as the transgression of the law, how do we explain the suffering and death of infants who have not committed any personal sins? If sin is individual and based on personal actions, it becomes challenging to reconcile the idea that infants, who have not yet had the opportunity to commit personal transgressions, experience mortality as a consequence of their own sins.
Bible:Infant Mortality: The Bible acknowledges the reality of infant mortality and records instances of infants and young children dying. Here are a few examples:
a. King David's infant son: In 2 Samuel 12:15-23, King David's infant son falls ill and eventually dies. Despite David's fervent prayers and fasting, the child passes away. This narrative portrays the anguish experienced by David and his acknowledgment that he cannot bring the child back. It reflects the painful reality of infant mortality.
b. The deaths of Egyptian firstborns: During the time of Moses, God brought plagues upon Egypt to secure the release of the Israelites from slavery. One of these plagues involved the death of the firstborns, including infants, in every Egyptian household (Exodus 11:4-6).
These biblical accounts acknowledge the existence of infant mortality and demonstrate how it has been a part of human experience throughout history.
Inherited Sin: The concept of inherited sin is comes from the account of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden and subsequent passages that discuss its effects. Here are key verses commonly cited in relation to inherited sin:
a. Romans 5:12: The apostle Paul writes, "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people because all sinned" (Romans 5:12). This verse is often interpreted to mean that sin entered the world through Adam's disobedience, and as a result, death and its consequences (including infant mortality) have affected all humanity.
b. Psalm 51:5: In Psalm 51:5, David declares, "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." This verse should be interpreted to suggest the idea of inherited sinfulness, implying that David, and by extension all human beings, inherit a sinful nature from birth.
These passages, among others, are used by some Christian traditions to support the concept of inherited sin. They suggest that all human beings are born with a fallen and sinful nature due to the consequences of Adam's disobedience.

2023.05.25 17:03 UnDead_Ted Family Prayer Thursday, May 25th 2023
| 05/25/2023 Everyday Verse - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
KJV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
NLV - If we tell Him our sins, He is faithful and we can depend on Him to forgive us of our sins. He will make our lives clean from all sin.
Thoughts on Today's Verse... - God is faithful! Scripture declares it. We've experienced it. In fact, we cherish this promise from God, especially when things don't turn out as they "should." So when Satan does trip us with temptation, or when we are weak or rebellious, isn't it comforting that we can be forgiven and made clean again? God wants us to call our sin what he calls it. (To "confess" literally means to "say the same" thing about it as God does!) Incredibly, God does more than forgive us. He also cleanses us. We're made new, fresh, pure, and holy once again! That is more than being faithful and just; that's being downright gracious.
- Confessing our sins means that we view our sin the same way that God does — the same revulsion and disdain for them. This kind of confession opens our hearts to the flood of heaven's grace (see Psalm 51). God shares with us the sweet liberation from sin that Jesus purchased at Calvary; our sins are not only forgiven, but we are purified. We are no longer sinners and the stain of that sin is removed as well. We are clean, perfect, and without spot because of God's purifying grace (Col. 1:21-22). Now let's live in a way that is reflective of this incredible gift!
- We can be forgiven of our sins! That's great, but there's even better news. We can be purified of any stain from sin!! That's incredible: not only am I forgiven, I'm made clean and new again! But only because of God's grace and perfect sacrifice for our sins.
Quote Of Prayer Wesley L. Duewel "We have been so busy depending on our own natural strengths, our good training and our busyness for God that we are near spiritual bankruptcy". Let's Pray: Our heavenly Father, You have told us that You love us and care for us. We gather about our family altar again to accept the assurance of Your love, and to accept Your care. We are Yours — not our own. You have made us — You have redeemed us. Your marks are upon us — the marks of the Lord Jesus. We are confident of Your keeping, and so we put our lives into Your care. Help us to be good children. Let us not grieve You by our sins, nor by unbelief, nor by leaving the way of Your commandments. May we be . . . faithful in all our duty, diligent in all our task-work, constant in our devotion to You, and helpful among Your children. May it please You to make our home more and more happy and loving. Preserve us from all those bickerings and strifes which mar the sweetness of so many homes. May we learn to live together as a family in patience and kindliness. May we bear with one another's faults and foibles. May we be thoughtful toward each other's weaknesses, and not be aggravating in our words and conduct. Thus may we each contribute toward the happiness of our home, and the good and edification of the others. Make our home more and more the center of holy influences. May its light stream out so as to brighten other homes — and make other lives safer, stronger, and truer. Help us in all ways to be . . . sweeteners of the world's bitterness, comforters of its sorrow, strength for its weakness, and life for its death. We make confession of our sins. We look to You for protection and guidance. May You walk with us through all the day's path and keep us from stumbling. Get us safely home at last. We ask through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen. submitted by UnDead_Ted to TheDailyDose [link] [comments] |
2023.05.25 08:47 UnDead_Ted A Prayer for Your Unsaved Loved Ones By Christine Perry
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV
Praying for your unsaved loved ones is not for the faint of heart. It can be challenging to persist in prayer, especially when your loved one's life may be on a treacherous path. Sometimes, when it comes to our walk with the Lord, it's all we can do to keep our heads above water. How can we find the perseverance to keep fighting in prayer for our loved one's
salvation? Like any situation we face, we can always go to the truth of God's Word. His truth sets us free and equips us to stay in the fight. However, you come to God in prayer, strong, weak, discouraged, or hopeful, remember that God hears our prayers (
Psalm 18:6). We can begin by reminding ourselves that God is the One who created them. He knows them better than we do. He knows where they are when we don't. He knows their thoughts, intentions, and lifestyle they are living. Nothing is hidden from God (
Hebrews 4:13).
James 5:16 NKJV says,
"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
Did you read the last part? The prayers of a righteous man avail much!
1 Peter 3:12 NKJV says, "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." If we seek the Lord's will for our life and partner with Him to live as He calls us to live as His disciples, we can take great comfort in knowing that God is attentive to our prayers. In
Luke 18:1-8, Jesus shares a parable with His disciples to encourage them never to stop praying. A widow went to an unjust judge begging for justice from her adversary. Eventually, the judge relented because of her persistence. Verse 7 says, "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?" But Jesus asked if He would find faith when the Son of Man came. There is no doubt praying is an act of faith. Let's be determined to be persistent and faithful in prayer. Samuel Chadwick, a Wesleyan Minister, said, "The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray."
Let's pray: Dear Gracious Heavenly Father,
2 Corinthians 6:2 says,"' In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Father, we are lifting our unsaved loved ones to you. Please soften their hearts. We ask that You take their hearts of stone and turn them into a heart of flesh (
Ezekiel 36:26). Please open their minds to understanding (
Luke 24:45). We pray that You would grant us opportunities to speak with them, but more importantly that we would continue to come to you in prayer for them.
God, You are not slack concerning your promises but are longsuffering toward us, unwilling that any should perish. Father, we ask that Your lovingkindness draw them to you (
Romans 2:4). When we see them and interact with them, let it be Your love for them that they see. Help us be patient, kind, humble, and seek our loved one's best. Help us to believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things. Help us to love them like You have loved us (
1 Corinthians 13:4-8). Lord, we cannot do any of this apart from You. Please give us Your strength. We love you. Thank you for hearing our prayers and being all we need in every situation. We commit our loved ones to Your loving and capable hands. Amen!

2023.05.24 22:09 William-Taylor-64 i've just realized, humankind is condemning itself to hell, we are self-condemning ourselves without realizing (and i'll be also debunking a feel christian natalist misinterpretations used as an excuse to procreate)
as a christian antinatalist, before anyone misunderstands the title, let me explain it properly get ready, this is gonna get long, really long
i've read the antinatalism handbook website(
https://antinatalisthandbook.org/languages/english/#english-5) and i found an interesting argument that i totally agree with and makes sense to me, it says
natalist: OH BUT MY RELIGION SAYS IT'S OKAY TO PROCREATE, I HAVE A CONVICTION THAT PEOPLE SHOUDL PROCREATE BECAUSE OF THIS OR THAT and the response for that is: religious people have religious convictions that they believe are right, but a lot of people take it literally, out of context and think that this is the universal and ultimate answer, without properly justifying the reasons neither trying to find the real explanation, simply put, a lot of people think that just because they have a certain religious conviction that cannot be truly justified because of their own interpretation, without exploring about it properly, they think they have the right to control others in some way, hide their true intentions and distort the truth by saying something they don't have enough knowledge and that is what i call "religious extremism" or "religious manipulation" because, if you say "OH YOU ALL HAVE TO PROCREATE BECAUSE IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE" without even reflecting if it has a context or if it's your own interpretation of it, you are forcing and manipulating someone to do something that we don't even know if it is right
if we accept that we can do something to others because we have a reilgious conviction that we haven't explored because we have just heard about it from someone, either a high autority of the catholic church or a religious leader from a cult, then it is right to say that "women are the real culprit for the fall of man and women are demonic creatures" for example (don't get it wrong, the bible says nothing about this, this was an interpretation and a supposedly "religious conviction" of middle age catholics"), but we all know that it's not like that, if you actually read the bible, nothing in the bible contains this, proving that religious convictions, if not explored correctly, leads to a religious extremism and manipulation of society
for example, if you say "WE ARE SOLDIERS OF GOD SO WE SHOULD PROCREATE TO HAVE MORE SOLDIERS", this is your own conviction and interpretation of it, and you are taking it literally like WE ARE TRULY SOLDIERS LIKE THOSE IN THE MILITARY AND THAT WE SHOULD BRING MORE BABIES TO FIGHT IN WAR AND ETC..., no no no, that's not how it works, the true meaning of it is metaphorical, when we are called soldiers of God, it means we are normal people, but are brave for not surrenderign to the devil (for those here on earth) because we are still loyal to God and have not fallen for the trap of the devil, we were put into this war because our parents gave birth to us, and as we can corrupt ourselves here, some are called brave for not corrupting themselves and are told they are soldiers of God, that's the real interpretation of it if you understood what i said, the meaning is metaphorical, IT"S NOT TELLING US TO PROCREATE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT AT ALL (there are many other non justifiable convictions but i'd rather not make it too long, better save for the further analysis)
now now, i am not criticizing churches or something like that, don't get me wrong, because i am also a christian, but i also have to think logically, because those religions convictions that haven't been morally justified and it was the own person that decided "this is the ultimate and absolute answer", if they actually reflect on those beliefs and judge if they are right or wrong, they might even start to think it through an change their thinking (or they'll just go to old testament passages like genesis and etc, but you get me), so what i'm saying is, we should also have a philosophical attitude even if we are religious, because if we don't question if our convictions are truly right or if we don't consider other sides of the coin (for example, the religious conviction of procreating because your church told you so or society told you), this is going to lead to an extremism just like those radical extremist islamic groups, that believe that women shouldn't have education and are slaves of men, which doesn't make sense because we are all humans in the end and we have the right for education, that's why philosophy exists, to encourages us to question our convictions (either religious or by common sense) if they are right or wrong, and we should seek the true answers and avoid misinterpretations
and with that, let's explore a few more interesting ideas after reading the book "no baby no cry, christian antinatalism" by martin smith, there are some things i should point out based on what i've read
so basically, the author points two points of view, the natural and the religious, simply put, with those points combined together, here's an interesting fact mentioned in the book:
humans, because of their own selfish desires or emotional and psychological needs (like wanting someone to take care of them when they are older, wanting to pass genes, a legacy, a mini me, etc...), they have children, and they use bad interpretations of the bible (their own interpretation of things), taken out of context, taken literally and probably without even reading scriptures or looking for true evidence, to hide their true intentions, which are either selfish, emotional, social or psychological, basically, people have children and use religious convictions that have not been explored properly to prove they are right just so they can hide their true desires (that's why i chose to start with the handbook first, it makes sense now right?)
There were many interpretations and passages in the Old Testament made by different people in different times, some of them were pronatalists (taken out of context nowadays and taken extremely, again, because of the convictions of society) and there were antinatalists (Ecclesiastes, Job and Jeremiah for example), but remember that in the Old Testament there were different interpretations, because different people lived in different times of the Old Testament , then it is clear that depending on the period and the person who wrote the book, each answer would be different (while there are many happy passages regarding life in the old testament, as in psalms perhaps a psalmist contemplates his birth as something splendid ( maybe out of context but anyway) there are also pessimistic passages, like lamentations of jeremiah that shows us what happened to jerusalem and the reality of the world, proverbs because it talks about what we shouldn't do and what we should do, while showing bad things that we shouldn't do and showing the reality of the world, ecclesiastes which is a book of wisdom with an antinatalist passage, among others) the pessimistic passages show us the reality of the world, something that would also fit in today, so while pronatalist passages are taken out of context, literally and do not fit with the reality of the world because the old testament was written with many interpretations of each writer, the pessimists that show the reality of the world are more justifiable and can be considered more valid since it relates to what christianity's view of the world truly is, so the pessimistics would be more valid since it is the closest to reality
In the new testament, there are very few if any books or passages that tell people to procreate and reproduce like in genesis, the new testament focuses more on telling everyone about jesus, the story of Jesus, his sacrifice to humankind, teaching about accepting jesus as savior and following his ways, BUT DON'T FOCUS ON SAYING WE HAVE TO CONTINUE THIS CYCLE OF REPRODUCTION, there's even a mention of celibacy in the new testament which purpose is to abandon the earthly pleasures of this world and stay closer to God by choosing to not marry or have sexual relations, but it is not obrigatory, it's optional for each individual because in 1 corinthians chapter 7 verses 8 and 9, it says that it would be better for unmarried men and women to stay unmarried become more like God, but because of their passions they might not resist, so it's allowed, with that said, we realized that it mentions celibacy and marriage, in the same book now verse 25-28, it says that virgins and married people can be virgin or married, it's not considered a sin, but the virgin would be better because the virgin is closer to God as said in verse 32-35, but again, jesus, just like god, he is merciful and didn't consider marriage and virginity a sin, so also, if anyone tells you that childfreeness is a sin, simply show 1 conrinthians 32-35, because that's the answer to counter the conviction of the person who said childfreeness is a sin, childfreeness is not a sin. but did you notice that,if the virgin would be the best option (because the virgin is closer to God), and fornication (sex before marriage) is considered a sin, then if the virgin doesn't marry and do not practice fornication, the virgin won't be having children unless they are married, so did you notice why Jesus might have said that the virgin is better? because the virgin is a loner, considered closer to God and, because the loyal virgin is a virgin, he would'nt marry and won't have children, and you are gonna say "OH BUT MARRIED PEOPLE ALSO CHOOSE TO NOT HAVE CHILDREN" and you are right, since it is proved that childfreeness is not a sin, married followers don't need to have children, and as i've read in 1 corinthians, it says all of that, but doesn't tell us that we should procreate LIKE WE ARE FORCED TO HAVE CHILDREN, just because it says that marriage and virginity are not sins, doesn't mean that the married are forced to procreate
and now, let's debunk the most famous religious misinterpretations considering 4 things: chronology, justifications, context and reflection, i'll be talking about genesis and psalm 137
starting with the famous "be fruitful and multiply" from genesis mentioned two times, i'll debunk this with chronology and context
when God said "be fruitful and multiply", PAY ATTENTION, GOD SAID THAT WHEN EVERYTHING WAS STILL BEING CREATED SPIRITUALLY, although we cannot confirm if the true meaning of frutiful and multply is reproducing or doing good deeds and multiplying them, if reproduction was in the plans of God for us, guess what? ADAM AND EVE SINNED, SO THEY RUINED ALL THE CHANCES OF A PERFECT LIFE AND A PERFECT REPRODUCTION, they were banished from eden and started reproduction on earth, since they could no lonher hear God's voice, God might have said "you humans have sinned and ruined my plans, you were expelled from the eden because i can't let you spread sin through the garden of eden and as a punishment for your actions, birth will be painful and you'll have to survive on earth" since humans sinned and we couldn't listen to God's voice anymore because we have disobeyed him, humans lived out of free will and spread the sin through the world, spreading evil, corruption and suffering, so we are the real culprits, i get mad at people that think God is evil and etc... but can't you all see that this is all humankind's fault? you might say " no it was the snake, the snake did it" yes the snake did it, but God TOLD ADAM AND EVE TO NOT EAT THE FRUIT, but no, they ate it, they disobeyed God and chose to live as they wanted and infected every human being with sin, as a punishment, birth would be painful for women and they had to work to survive, so it's our own kind's fault because we disobeyed God and we were infected with sin, we lived out of free will and began to reproduce, corrupting the earth with evil and sin, so reproduction WAS VALID BEFORE, BUT AFTER ADAM AND EVE SINNED, IT WAS NOT ANYMORE, BUT WE STILL DID IT ANYWAY AND LIVED A HELL ON EARTH, it was all our fault, and then you ask "oh but God could have stopped them", this was a test to prove if humans were to trust God or the devil, since humans trusted the devil and ate the fruit, they faced the consequences of such an act and failed their loylaty to God, so you can't blame God for this, humans chose to trust the devil and, as a consequence, we have pain and suffering due to our sinful reproduction, after the earth was dominated by sin, the author of the book no baby no cry notices that now, after he saw what humanity has done th earth, God didn't want humans to procreate, he wanted humanity to be extincted, it makes sense, we failed God and that's what we got, "OH BUT AFTER THE FLOOD GOD SAYS IT AGAIN", simply explained, noah was the only one who was good towards God, after the flood, got said it again to noah because God trusted that noah wouldn't do anything wrong, but then, guess what? noah sinned again, and well, we all know where this is going, all again we reproduce and spread sin, WHY NOAH? so, as you can see, this conviction of be fruitful and multiply is the easiest to debunk if you consider this analysis, doesn't it make sense? it is logical that IT'S NOT VALID ANYMORE BECAUSE OF SIN, SO DON'T USE THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO PROCREATE
for psalms 137, it says "children are a blessing of the lord and etc...", but first, i made an analysis of it from the bible and reached some points
don't forget that, because of different writers in different periods of the old testament, it would be different
most of the psalms after and before 137, mostly written by david, father of solomon, being older and having more experience with life, can be considered more valid than 137-3 in particular, which was written by solomon, who says that children are a blessing from God, I say this because 1: psalms 137 is the only one that speaks of children in general, while earlier psalms, mostly written by david, speak of the joy of being with God, of human repentance and the pains of life 2: solomon, perhaps being younger than david, not having much experience, did not consider the suffering and pain that children can go through in their lives due to sin, that is, life is hurting "God's blessings" probably solomon said his statement in a literal sense, without considering that children also grow up and, therefore, become adults and are no longer considered as "blessings" if we take into account that psalms 137, when it says that children are a blessing, had a meaning literal, without presenting an exact justification compared to the psalms of david, the psalms of david can be more accepted than this one of solomon in particular 3: if the book of ecclesiastes was possibly written by solomon (it is not possible to say with certainty but let's assume that it is true), perhaps now he is older and is considering the other side of reality, so much so that it may even be that he changed his thinking in ecclesiastes 4, which is in direct conflict with psalm 137, just as solomon wrote proverbs, possibly ecclesiastes and sing, psalm 137 would also no longer be valid, as now solomon may be considering the other side of the coin just as david did 4: solomon, in psalms 137, for having said this literally, there is no moral justification for saying this compared to david, who justifies his repentance, for example, in a psalm saying that he was born of sin because his mother conceived him of sin (Psalms 51 5-6), not to mention that in Psalms 137 he is not talking about reproduction, which may lead us to think that he is speaking literally, but without an exact justification, or he may even be talking about adoption but we don't know for sure, In short:
Solomon in Psalms: Children Are a Blessing from God
David: forgive me Lord, I am weak and errant for being born of sin by my mother
Solomon in proverbs: I wrote this book with practical teachings so that they do not become corrupted
Possibly Solomon in Ecclesiastes: Better is he who was not born, for he has not seen the evil works done under the sun
In conclusion: people misinterpret this sentence, because they don't reflect enough and logically, so they end up convincing themselves that THIS IS A SIGN THAT WE MUST PROCREATE AND ETC, and, in addition to genesis having been proven logically and chronologically that it is no longer validating the phrase be fruitful and multiply, one cannot declare psalms 137 as universal, because in addition to not having enough justifications (like the psalms of david) nor a sufficient indication that he is talking about procreation, since he says that children are a blessing and etc. He is not explicitly stating that we should procreate, and in addition to being taken literally, the purpose perhaps not even being to procreate, in psalms, solomon did not consider the other side of the coin as he possibly did not consider the suffering and corruption of the "blessings" ", and books subsequent to the psalms show us a reality different from that of solomon (such as lamentations and luke 23 26-29), this one is not so obvious to debunk, but as you can see, it wasn't so hard, you just have to consider chronology, context and other sides of the coin
Now let's get to the interesting part : If, due to original sin, someone's birth on Earth imposes him to a sin that the human being passes on to the innocent soul that came to Earth due to the sexual act, and that if he does not believe and is not baptized, he will be condemned to hell, so a large part of the population is condemning themselves and their children Even children who are raised in Christian homes can become atheists and consequently also be condemned
And here is the supreme thought: If we stopped this vicious cycle of reproduction, or rather "sharing of sins", THOUSANDS OR EVEN BILLIONS OF PEOPLE WOULD NOT NEED TO BE CONDEMNED TO ETERNAL TORMENT, and many people would not have strayed from God's ways nor turned away from Him nor would they have blasphemed, because even if it's minimal, there's still a chance that your son/daughter, who is loved by you, because of your mistake, whether it's the family environment or because your son/daughter's nature corrupted him/her, it's gone, you had everything for your son/daughter's soul to be with God and possibly together with you in heaven, but unfortunately, due to the reproduction cycle and religious extremism and the influence of society, there is no turning back and your son/daughter will go to eternal torment after this worldly suffering
In short: humanity is condemning itself, because many want to have children for psychological reasons but hide it using pronatalist interpretations of the old testament, and giving a chance that their son/daughter is condemned, that is, WE ARE IN AN ETERNAL CYCLE OF CONDEMNATION BECAUSE ANYONE WHO COMES TO EARTH IS ALREADY WITH SIN
Therefore, it is not the fault of religion, it is society and the human race that misinterpret and distort the real meaning of things just to hide their own desires and pleasures, and i finish this by saying a quote from the book no baby no cry: " So I have to ask - how badly do you need to fulfil your desire for babies, knowing that you are making sinful people, some of which will suffer very great harms in life, and some of which will suffer the eternal judgement of God?", and thanks for reading this massive text about my belief on antinatalism and christianity

2023.05.24 19:55 jesus-saves-all-com The Fate of All Murderers
What is murder? It is a sin. It is defined as unjustified, deliberate homicide by the Amplified Bible. It is unlawful killing.
The Lord does not sin, there is absolutely no sin in Him. Thus, all His commandments are true and His actions are justified.
1 Samuel 2:6 The Lord kills and brings to life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up.
Here the Lord continues to uphold the law of “Do not murder”.
brings death
מֵמִ֣ית (mê·mîṯ)
Verb - Hifil - Participle - masculine singular
Strong's 4191: To die, to kill
My friends, we have absolutely no justification for murdering people.
Sin = Murder = תִּֿרְצָֽ֖ח׃ (trə·ṣāḥ)
The Lord Kills = No Sin = מֵמִ֣ית (mê·mîṯ)
Ephesians 4:2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love
Murdering people goes against gentleness, it is violence which the Lord is against. God is love and loves all people John 3:16
Notice how, even though the Lord kills, He also brings life. No suffering lasts forever. Eventually all people, yes, even the murderers, will be made clean of sin. Because even if you did not commit the sin of murder, you would have committed another sin instead. All us humans have sin that is guaranteed. Me, the human typing this, have sinned. You, the human reading this have sinned.
Yet, God still loves you. He hates the sin, but loves the sinner. God is against murder, but He will save the murderer. How? The Word of God became flesh through the form of Jesus Christ. John 1:1-3. The Christ, Jesus, is the LORD. John 10:30.
Thus, the LORD does not sin, like mentioned above. Therefore, Jesus Christ never murdered anybody. The Lord has never murdered anyone ever. That is true. Jesus Christ never committed any sin at all, He is perfectly clean and righteous. Therefore, when He died, He paid the penalty for all sin, which is death. No matter what sins you have committed, there is always a punishment, there is always a consequence, there is always death.
But Christ did not sin. So, when He died and resurrected, it shows that His blood is Holy. His blood washes away our sins. All we need to do is to believe in Christ to be made clean of our sins, no matter what they are, to be made permanently clean by gaining the Holy Spirit through faith alone in Him, the Lord, Jesus. All people will thus become believers in Christ and go to Heaven, yes, even all the murderers will be made clean of their sin in this way.
Exodus 20:13
“You shall not murder. (NIV) (ESV) (BSB) (NKJV) (NASB) (NASB 1995) (NASB 1977) (LSB) (ABiPE) (MSB) (NETB) (NRSV) (WEB)
How many Bible translations tell us not to murder? At least over 12 of them. These are the New International Version, English Standard Version, Berean Standard Bible, New King James Version, New American Standard Bible, New American Standard Bible 1995, New American Standard Bible 1997, Legacy Standard Bible, Aramaic Bible in Plain English, Majority Standard Bible, NET Bible, New Revised Standard Version, World English Bible.
That list was taken from Bible Hub. So let’s look at the Hebrew words from there too:
https://www.biblehub.com/exodus/20-13.htm You shall not
לֹ֥֖א (lō)
Adverb - Negative particle
Strong's 3808: Not, no
murder.
תִּֿרְצָֽ֖ח׃ (trə·ṣāḥ)
Verb - Qal - Imperfect - second person masculine singular
Strong's 7523: To dash in pieces, kill, to murder
This commandment not to murder is similarly repeated with this verse:
Deuteronomy 5:17 You shall not murder.
https://biblehub.com/deuteronomy/5-17.htm You shall not
לֹ֥֖א (lō)
Adverb - Negative particle
Strong's 3808: Not, no
murder.
תִּֿרְצָֽח׃ (trə·ṣāḥ)
Verb - Qal - Imperfect - second person masculine singular
Strong's 7523: To dash in pieces, kill, to murder
Notice how the Hebrew words are the exact same as from Exodus 20:13? It’s so important not to murder anybody that the Lord Christ repeated it twice! This is because man is made in the image of God. Genesis 9:6. What men are made in the image of God? All men! All people of the world is made in the Lord’s image. Therefore, we must not murder anybody!
When is murder a sin? All the time! It does not matter who you murder, it is always evil! A murderer is always a sinner!
One example of this sin of murder is when Cain killed his brother Abel.
Genesis 4:8
8 Cain spoke to Abel his brother.4 And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.
Who has committed the sin of murder here? It is Cain. But what if Abel was not in the field but somewhere else? What if Abel was younger or older? No matter what time or what age, murder is always wrong! That is guaranteed. All types of murder, every form and type are evil. Thus, we must not allow any variation of murder.
What if someone is your enemy who persecutes you? Then bless them, tell them the Gospel to correct them, with love and kindness. Do not murder them. Even if someone tries to murder you, you must not try to murder them back as revenge. Because the Lord has His vengeance and His mercy. Romans 12:19.
Truly I tell you my friends, I do not condone any form of murder. The Lord tells us to be against every type of murder, no matter who it is.
We must protect all life from the sin of murder. Exodus 20:13. Our God is the God of life after all. John 14:6.
What life must we protect? All life. Every human must not murder. In a perfect world, that commandment would be followed. But we live in scary times. So much murder happens all over the world throughout all of history.
Therefore, the Lord will protect all life. He does not cast off forever. Lam 3:31-33. No loving God tortures nor destroys people forever. Psalm 100:5. He will save all life because the Lord is against murder! This is the good news of Universal Reconciliation, all people will be permanently saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ, that is guaranteed!

2023.05.24 05:22 Inspired_By_God Walk with Me
It was 12 May 2023, 7:00 in the morning.
The Lord has been telling me, more and more, that He wants us to walk with Him.
In the manner of,
- “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God” – Romans 8:14 NIV
The Lord pointed out to me that walking in the Spirit and being led by the Spirit should be normal to us. Therefore, our walk with Him should be supernaturally natural and naturally supernatural. Thus, being effective witnesses of His Presence and Glory.
So, in order to walk with Him in such a manner. He strongly admonishes,
- “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever.” – 1 John 2:15-17 BSB
For, the things of this world will clutter our hearts and minds and lead to (pride, greed, jealousy, anxiety, stress, frustration, worry, fear, condemnation, bitterness etc.) Any of which will separate us from His Presence:
However, Jesus says,
- “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33b NIV
So, we need to unclutter our hearts and minds by handing all such things over to Him:
- “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7 BSB
- “Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you” – Psalm 55:22a BSB
- “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.” – Psalm 37:5 BSB
- “Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be achieved.” Proverbs 16:3 BSB
And, when we truly let go in faith and let God, we will walk in His Presence.
- For, “without faith it is impossible to please God” – Hebrews 11:6a BSB
So, we must trust Him, in order to:
“Live in His presence.” – Hosea 6:2c Then the Holy Spirit showed me that as we enter into His Presence, He plants love, peace and joy, like three flags in our heart. Flags that should not be uprooted, for they are meant to remain; likened unto a seal of God. And I immediately understood, that:
His love, peace and joy detach us from the things of this world!!! And if we move away from His Presence, it is because we do not trust Him. But fortunately, if our conscience is sharp, we will realize that we are no longer walking in His Presence. So, this is the time to repent and hand it all over into His Sovereign Hands, and once again be:
“Led into His presence” – Daniel 7:13c BSB. And there is no better place to be! For,
- “He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” – Exodus 33:14 NKJV
- For, “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” – Matthew 11:30 BSB
Furthermore, we need to be vigilant and always aware, that the things of this world are under the control of the kingdom of darkness:
- “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” – Ephesians 6:12 BSB
And, the reason why God’s love, peace and joy detach us from the things of this world is because they are the fruits of the Holy Spirit and as such they belong to the Kingdom of God:
His Love detaches us from the kingdom of darkness,
- “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39 BSB (emphasis added)
His Peace detaches us from the kingdom of darkness,
- So, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7 BSB (emphasis added)
His Joy detaches us from the kingdom of darkness,
- For, “The joy of the LORD is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10b BSB (emphasis added)
- And, “In Your presence is fullness of joy.” – Psalm 16:11b NKJV (emphasis added)
Now, besides the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness; God has given us the freedom to choose, and this can have huge consequences. For, just like Adam and Eve had the freedom to choose to walk with God, by obeying Him, or to believe the enticement and lies of the enemy. So, we have the freedom to choose:
- “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live.” – Deuteronomy 30:19 BSB
And especially when things get tough; we need to slow down, be cautious, have discernment and choose wisely:
- “Solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” – Hebrews 5:14 ESV
In other words,
- “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” – Ephesians 4:30 BSB
For, when you are walking in the Spirit, you are walking with Me, Face to face!!!
- “And they saw the God of Israel [that is, a convincing manifestation of His presence], and under His feet it was like pavement of bright sapphire stone, like the very heavens in clearness. And upon the nobles of the Israelites, He laid not His hand [to conceal Himself from them, to rebuke their daring, or to harm them]; but they saw [the manifestation of the presence of] God, and ate and drank.” – Exodus 24:10-11 AMP Classic Edition.
So, truly, when you remain in My Presence, then you:

2023.05.24 00:06 afroglobalministries Share4Christ - Let Your Life Count
“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom” Psalms 90:12 NKJV.
If you were given a year to spend one million dollars, how would you use it? But if you were only given one day to spend that same million dollars, you would use it in an entirely different way. The basis for your wisdom would be that you only have one day, and you want to make the most of it.
This is the reality God wants to give us regarding life. You only have one. It is very precious. It is but a vapor, a few seconds. It is here one day and gone the next. Before you realize it, this life is going to be over, and you will ask yourself what did you do regarding your walk with Jesus and with all of the things God put in your heart, with all He had for you in this life.
God has given you His Son and has put so much inside of you. So many faith adventures. So many thoughts and plans He has for you. Do what He put in your heart. Love while you can, and live life now. Number your days, and make it count.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. As I step back and look at my life, You have given me much Lord and I thank You. Teach me to number my days and to apply my heart to wisdom. I will not waste my life. With all, You have put in me, help me to make it count and run for You, Jesus. In Jesus Christ most majestic name, I pray, Amen!

2023.05.23 08:44 SnooRegrets4878 The Opened Heavens - May 22, 2023
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” (Revelation 19:11)
This is the final climactic reference in the Bible to God’s opened heavens. Sometimes, as in this verse, heaven is opened in judgment; sometimes in blessing. Sometimes it is the atmospheric heaven that is open; sometimes the heaven of heavens where stands the throne of God.
The first such mention refers to the world-destroying Flood of Noah’s day when “the windows of heaven were opened” (Genesis 7:11). The second mention, however, speaks of blessing. God had “opened the doors of heaven, And had rained down manna upon them to eat” (Psalm 78:23-24). The windows of heaven rained down the waters of death, while the doors of heaven rained down the bread of life! Ezekiel also saw the heavens opened in judgment (Ezekiel 1:1), but God told Malachi, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse...and prove me now...if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10).
At the baptism of Jesus, the heavens were opened and men heard the great testimony of the Father concerning His beloved Son (Matthew 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:21). Jesus promised Nathanael, “Hereafter ye shall see heaven open” (John 1:51), and Stephen and Peter actually saw the heavens open (Acts 7:56; 10:11).
Finally, the apostle John reported that “a door was opened in heaven” (Revelation 4:1), and he saw the Lord on His throne—12 specific references (four in the Old Testament, eight in the New) to the opened heavens. HMM

2023.05.23 01:53 DepartureHonest7948 The Uncompromising Blissful Extravagance of His Presence!
CMM.World & CMMTheology.org
The Great Harvest is here. Christ's Mandate for Missions and CMMTheology build strong, organic relationships globally as we worship, grow and equip together.

2023.05.22 19:01 Pastor4070 Victory in Christ, Anointing. By Pastor Steven Smith.
In the Bible, anointing with oil is performed in religious ceremonies and used for grooming (Ruth 3:3; Matthew 6:17), refreshment (Luke 7:46), medicinal treatments (Luke 10:34), and burial traditions (Mark 16:1).
Ceremonial anointing in the Old Testament was a physical act involving the smearing, rubbing, or pouring of sacred oil on someone’s head (or on an object) as an outward symbol that God had chosen and set apart the person (or object) for a specific holy purpose.
The Hebrew term mashach meant “to anoint or smear with oil.” The oil used for religious anointing was carefully blended with fine spices according to a specific formula prescribed by the Lord (Exodus 30:22–32).
Using this oil for any other purpose was a serious offense carrying the penalty of being “cut off” from the community (Exodus 30:33).
Kings, priests, and prophets were anointed outwardly with oil to symbolize a more profound spiritual reality—that God’s presence was with them and His favor was upon them (Psalm 20:6; 28:8).
While David was still a young shepherd, God told Samuel to anoint him to become king over Israel (1 Samuel 16:3). From that day forward, the Spirit of the Lord rested powerfully upon David’s life (1 Samuel 16:13; Psalm 89:20).
Centuries before David’s time, the Lord had instructed Moses to consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve as priests (Exodus 28:41; 30:30; Leviticus 8:30; 10:7).
God authenticated their priestly ministry with the fiery glory of His presence that consumed their offerings.
Holy items, including the tabernacle itself, were also set apart or consecrated by anointing for use in worship and sacrificial ceremonies. (Genesis 28:18; Exodus 30:26–29; 40:9–11).
The Bible contains a literal reference to a prophet’s anointing when the Lord commanded Elijah to anoint Elisha as the prophet to succeed him (1 Kings 19:16). It also includes metaphorical references to anointing to indicate that prophets were empowered and protected by the Spirit of the Lord to perform their calling (1 Chronicles 16:22; Psalm 105:15).
Anointing the head with oil was also an ancient custom of hospitality shown to honored guests. In Psalm 23:5, King David pictures himself as an esteemed guest at the Lord’s table. This practice of anointing a dinner guest with oil reappears in the gospels (Luke 7:46; Mark 14:3–9; John 12:3).
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ reveals Himself as our anointed King, Priest, and Prophet. He is God’s Holy and chosen Son, the Messiah. In fact, Messiah, which literally means “anointed one,” is derived from the Hebrew word for “anointed.” Christ means “the anointed one.”
Jesus declared at the launch of His ministry, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor . . . to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18; cf. Isaiah 61:1).
Jesus Christ fulfilled Old Testament prophecy as the Anointed One, the chosen Messiah (Luke 4:21). He proved His anointing through the miracles He performed and the life He sacrificed as Savior of the world (Acts 10:38).
There is also a sense in which Christians today are anointed. Through Jesus Christ, believers receive “an anointing from the Holy One” (1 John 2:20). This anointing is not expressed in an outward ceremony but through sharing in the gift of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11).
At the moment of salvation, believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and joined to Christ, the Anointed One. As a result, we partake of His anointing (2 Corinthians 1:21–22). According to one scholar, this anointing “expresses the sanctifying influences of the Holy Spirit upon Christians who are priests and kings unto God” (Smith, W., “Anointing,” Smith’s Bible Dictionary, revised ed., Thomas Nelson, 2004).
The New Testament also associates anointing oil with healing and prayer. When Jesus sent out the disciples to preach the gospel, “they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil” (Mark 6:13, NLT). James instructs believers to “call the elders of the church to pray over them” when they are sick “and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord” for healing (James 5:14).
Those in Charismatic religious circles speak of “the anointing” as something Christians can and should be seeking. It is common for them to speak of “anointed” preachers, sermons, ministries, songs, etc., and to advise others to “unlock their anointing” or “walk in the anointing.” The idea is that the anointing is an outpouring of God’s power to accomplish a task through the anointed one.
Charismatics claim there are corporate anointings as well as various types of individual anointings: the five-fold anointing; the apostolic anointing; and, for women, the Ruth anointing, the Deborah anointing, the Anna anointing, etc. Some even speak of a “Davidic anointing” upon musical instruments—“anointed” instruments are played by God Himself to drive away demons and take worship to a higher level than ever before.
Special anointings are said to allow a person to use his spiritual gift to a “higher degree.” Charismatics say that special anointings are received by “releasing one’s faith.”
Much of the Charismatic teaching on the anointing goes beyond what Scripture says. In their hunger for signs and wonders, many Charismatics seek new and ever more titillating experiences, and that requires more outpourings, more spiritual baptisms, and more anointings.
But the Bible points to one anointing of the Spirit, just as it points to one baptism: “As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you” (1 John 2:27; see also 2 Timothy 1:14). This same passage also refutes another misconception, viz., that Satan can somehow “steal” a believer’s anointing. We don’t need to worry about losing the anointing we received, because Scripture says it remains.
Another aberrant teaching concerning the anointing of the Spirit is the “Mimshach anointing.” Mimshach is a Hebrew word related to mashach (“anoint”) and found only in Ezekiel 28:14, where the anointing is said to “cover” (NKJV) or “cover and protect” (AMP). According to some, the Mimshach anointing (which was bestowed on Lucifer before his fall) is available now to believers.
Receiving this anointing will cause everything one touches to increase or expand, and the anointed one will experience greater levels of success, material gain, health, and power.
Rather than chase after a new anointing, believers should remember they already have the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is not given in part, He does not come in portions or doses, and He is not taken away. We have the promise that “his divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness” (2 Peter 1:3).

The people on earth are like the man who was made from the dust of the earth. The people in heaven are like the man who came from heaven. As we have worn the likeness of the man who was made from the dust of the earth, we will also wear the likeness of the man who came from heaven. I’m telling you a mystery. Not all of us will die, but we will all be changed. So, then, brothers and sisters, don’t let anyone move you off the foundation ⌞of your faith⌟. Always excel in the work you do for the Lord. You know that the hard work you do for the Lord is not pointless. 1 Corinthians 15:45, 48-49, 51 For the promise of the Holy Spirit and his gifts are available for all. It is level at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ. This is what the Almighty Lord says: I am going to lay a rock in Zion, a rock that has been tested, a precious cornerstone, a solid foundation. Whoever believes ⌞in him⌟ will not worry. I will make justice a measuring line and righteousness a plumb line. Hail will sweep away your refuge of lies, and floodwaters will wash away your hiding place. God will guide him in judgment, and his God will teach him...(Yes) Grain is ground into flour, but the grinding eventually stops. It will be threshed. The wheels of his cart will roll over it, but his horses won’t crush it. All of this has come from the Lord of Armies. His counsel is wonderful, and his wisdom is great. Isaiah 28:16-17, 26, 28-29 GW Yes! Teach me to do your will, because you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalms 143:10 GW How wonderful! He does not discriminate between people groups. God, who knows everyone’s thoughts, showed that he approved of people who aren’t Jewish by giving them the Holy Spirit as he gave the Holy Spirit to us. God doesn’t discriminate between Jewish and non-Jewish people. He has cleansed non-Jewish people through faith as he has cleansed us Jews. So why are you testing God? You’re putting a burden on the disciples, a burden neither our ancestors nor we can carry. We certainly believe that the Lord Jesus saves us the same way that he saves them—through his kindness.” Simon has explained how God first showed his concern by taking from non-Jewish people those who would honor his name. ‘Afterwards, I will return. I will set up David’s fallen tent again. I will restore its ruined places again. I will set it up again so that the survivors and all the people who aren’t Jewish over whom my name is spoken, may search for the Lord, declares the Lord. Acts 15:8-11, Thankyou Lord for new life as a new creation! Since you were brought back to life with Christ, focus on the things that are above—where Christ holds the honored position—the one next to God the Father on the heavenly throne. and you’ve become a new person. This new person is continually renewed in knowledge to be like its Creator. Where this happens, there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, uncivilized person, slave, or free person. Instead, Christ is everything and in everything. As holy people whom God has chosen and loved, be sympathetic, kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Above all, be loving. This ties everything together perfectly. Also, let Christ’s peace control you. God has called you into this peace by bringing you into one body. Be thankful. Let Christ’s word with all its wisdom and richness live in you. Use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to teach and instruct yourselves about ⌞God’s⌟ kindness. Sing to God in your hearts. Everything you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. 2023.05.20 16:33 aaaaa143222 The Disintegration of Falun Gong: Li Hongzhi falsely claimed that Christianity was not intended for Asians
Li Hongzhi said “[Why] doesn’t Christianity exist in Asians’ divine paradises? These religions technically don’t exist in those places. I remember that in the Bible or a similar book, both Yahweh and Jesus said something back then to the effect of: “Don’t go east.” There was more, but I just remember this line, “Don’t go east,” telling his followers not to spread the teachings east.” (Teaching the Fa at the Sydney Fa Conference)
“I don’t see any Asians in Jesus’ Heavenly Kingdom. Back in the times of Jesus and Jehovah, they didn’t allow their religion to be spread to the East.” (Teaching the Fa and Answering Questions in Yanji)
“Whether it’s Christianity or Catholicism, in their paradises there are no Eastern people. This is an absolute truth which man doesn’t understand. [... Both] Jesus and Yahweh prohibited their disciples from spreading the teachings eastward.” (Teachings at the Conference in the Western U.S.)
But the Bible states the opposite: “There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. 14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.” (Genesis 28:13-14) “The Lord will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.” (Isaiah 51:10) “I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 8:11) “27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.” (Psalm 22:27-28) Furthermore, Jesus was from the Near East, which is part of Asia.
