I want to clarify that I am not a supporter of the PTI and do not agree with their policies. However, I strongly believe that Pakistan can greatly benefit from political stability and complete freedom from any military intervention. There is no place for the military in politics, and if you have any doubts, just look at what has happened in Sudan.
The reason I criticize the PDM is that during their time in opposition, I heard nothing from them for three and a half years except calls to keep the military away from politics and establish a Pakistan that abides by the constitution. While I agree that a no-confidence motion is a legitimate tool to overthrow a government, I ask, where are the elections? Where in heavens name are the elections!!!
l was listening to Khan's latest adress, and he reiterated that once the process of forced divorces culminates, they should take as much time as needed but then announce the elections for the sake of the country. While I agree that elections are the way forward, there are two problems that Imran Khan fails to address. First, we need elections that are acceptable to all parties involved, and they must be pristine, transparent, free, and fair. Khan doesn't emphasize these crucial aspects as much as he should. Secondly, the biggest problem is that he has backtracked on his stance against the influence of the establishment ever since the crackdown on PTI. His Haqeki Azadi's core principle was to free the country from the establishment's power and establish Pakistan as a true democracy, where every prime minister completes their constitutionally allocated term. It is incredibly disheartening to see him backtrack on that promise.
The PDM is resorting to the oldest tactic in the book, using brute force to suppress the opposition, which will never work. PTI is currently weak, and they fail to recognize the political advantage they currently possess. PTI is willing to engage in dialogue, and this is the opportune time for the PDM to come to the table and create a long-term plan that every party can agree upon. Instead, they are using ridiculous reasons like May 9th to avoid engaging in political dialogue. They may never get a better chance to engage with PTI and establish a plan that truly benefits the country.
Whoever wins the next elections, we need a political stable Pakistan that breaks the shackles of a De Facto Military rule because no matter who rules, if that person has to ask the agencies and COAS, then we might as well be living under a military dictatorship!

It's been a long time since I have done one of these, and well, there's lots of reasons why. I will get into those shortly, but wanted to start with a subreddit recap.

Community Insights

Over the last 12 months we have doubled our traffic to the subreddit, meaning - previously our 35K views a month now averages around 70K. That's a lot of views and a lot of people checking in! The same can also be said for our subscriber count, there are now nearly 8 thousand of us in this subreddit, which means a lot more posts, a lot more support and a lot more advice to be given.
That being said, more people in a sub-reddit, means more trolls and more spam - so that brings me onto my next point.

Community Moderators

As you may be aware, there is only one moderator for this subreddit which has not fared well for keeping up with modal / reporting etc. I have personally looked to appoint moderators in the past, but have then found they do not carry out any mod actions, or where not in the right place mentally to be monitoring a subreddit with such a contestable / difficult topic.
I am opening up the doors again to get more people involved to bring this subreddit back in line with it's 6 Core Values, which as a reminder are:

1. Be Kind, Be Courteous, Be Friendly.
2. Remember not all BPD Episodes are the same.
3. Persons with BPD will have flair.
4. No BPD Bashing or Hating.
5. No pushing or selling of snake oil treatments.
6. No posing as a therapist.

If you are interested in this, please send a message to the moderators with your reasoning and I will get back to you. I am to bring in at least 4 moderators, and in the interest of working to everyone's best interest, I am looking for a diverse crowd - i.e. some people with BPD, different races, different cultures, so we can ensure we also have a voice for different viewpoints in the posts that may be reported or removed.

Need I say more? This is not /BPDLovedOnes - we do not encourage "run" comments. However - that is not to say people cannot give advice about leaving. Ultimately there is a fine balance - if someone has a partner / friend / loved one with BPD that they do not have the strength to look after at that time - it is okay to say you may need to take a step back to look after yourself before helping a person with BPD. Not all BPD Episodes are the same - I've seen them at their worst and best, and if you are already struggling mentally with your own issues, sometimes you need to take that break.

Rules Update

Following the BBC Panorama episode on ADHD where it came out that the journalist was pretending to be someone with BPD and a researcher amongst other things to gain credibility in online spaces - we will no longer be accepting any researcher requests access to the subreddit. If you see these, or get a DM from a researcher, please notify the moderators and we will ban them.

Support Materials will focus on publications, reports, news stories etc which will allow users to share information which has helped them with understanding of BPD, or helping their loved one. All articles / content shared will be archived and added to the community wiki.
Feel Good will be a place where users can show the good things to help show that a relationship with someone with BPD is not the "horror show" that many news articles and other subreddits show it to be.

Personal Update

I created this sub-reddit to be a safe space to ask how and why to helping someone with BPD. As many of you may know, my partner has BPD but this is not what defines them. They are self accomplished in their own right, and I just sometimes helped get them in the right direction.
The main reason for my lack of attention to the subreddit in the last month was because we tied the knot! It was honestly the best day of my life, and guess what, there were no "episodes" or "triggers" during, after etc. Those words are used to box in what BPD is - but with support, therapy and love - someone with BPD can move past that definition. My partner and I are a good example of what positive life someone with BPD can have. So to everyone here, I will work hard to make sure this is a space for you to be able to do the same.

My proof is that yesterday, i had a dream where i was praying maghrib in a mosque with erdogan when the the esra bilgic came to erdogan and made a motivational speech about how erdogan was destroying the turkish nation and then everybody clapped.
When the imam finished maghrib, he announced on the mic that kilicdaroglu had won and I and erdogan just looked at each other like 'oh shit'.

Have been rewatching the show and managed to skip most of Elizabeth and Tom’s scenes which made it enjoyable. From season 4 it’s so difficult to watch. - Tom is now given full access to the task force and uses its resources for his own missions, - The entire task force has now decided to serve Elizabeth and Tom and seems less interested in national security. They also blame Reddington for everything and Elizabeth is seen as an saint. At least Navabi doesn’t buy into that, - Elizabeth has no security clearance but has full access to the task force intel, - Aram drools over Elizabeth like a little puppy, - Elizabeth has no gratitude or appreciation for what Reddington has done and is doing for her. She has no humility and self awareness to acknowledge when she was wrong. It’s as if from season 4 the writers want the fans to turn on Reddington

30F, midshaft clavicle fracture 16wks ago. Normally fit and well. No medication. Conservative management. Still some pain, but minimal. Had a CT scan at 15wks due to delayed union on x-ray, which showed some bridging callus but is not yet healed. Can still feel fracture line on palpation and medial part still wobbles up and down slightly on palpation. Have been given ultrasound bone stimulator. Would you expect this to form a bony union? How long does a delayed union take to heal? When would you expect fracture to be solid on palpation?

Me (18M) and ex(17F) broke up some time ago. I slipped into deppresion and some scary thoughts and i am struggling a lot.
