We will need to have distilled water when in Italy for using a CPAP machine. Is this easy to buy in Italy? Available at most markets or only the larger markets or pharmacies?

Not only is mobile design important, it’s also different that a site is optimized for ALL browsers. A site could work fine on Chrome, but not on Firefox, or Safari.

Optimized For Speed
We’ve left no stone unturned with TaskAI, which includes optimizing these sites for the fastest speeds possible. We do this with lazy loading images, CDNs, and minified code.
You’d be surprised the impact speeding up a website has – according to Walmart, they saw an increase of 13% in profit, for each 0.5 second faster their site loaded…
(If the following terms above are confusing, don’t worry, just know it means a faster speed for your freelancing site!)

2023.06.09 07:38 Hurricane_Camille Things to Do in Baton Rouge this Weekend
Last week,
u/ExistentialPuggle posted an amazing list of things to do in Baton Rouge that weekend and a lot of people got excited about all the fun things going on, while others shared adfitional events happening around the city. One Redditor commented that they didn’t realize how many great things Baton Rouge has going on and this is something I’ve noticed happening a lot, so my goal is to let people know all the great things Baton Rouge has to offer and hope they share it with others.
Adam Knapp, BRAC’s new president, said his biggest concern is that compared to other cities like Lafayette and New Orleans, Baton Rouge does not have “insane community pride” and looking at this subreddit proves he’s right. I know its hard to be proud of this city. I know we’ll never be #1 on any positive list and am use to scrolling down to the bottom lists to find us but I’m a Baton Rougian for life and try to find as much pride to have in gvis city as possible.
I’m usually a lurker and not much if a poster, so it might take me a few tries to get the format right. Also, with Reddit deciding to compleywly fuck over 3rd party apps, I’m not aure how easy posting will be once Apollo no longer exists.
The places I’m currently looking for events are news sources, local magzines, the library and local wbesite. If you have any other recommendations on where to look, please share.
Please share any other events I might have missed!
(Due to this being a late night Thursday adventure, I’m probabaly only going to be able to posts this weekend’s events, but my goal is to add on events that are ongoing in the area)

2023.06.09 04:43 Iirxemaii The U.S. index topped back down, gold prices opened the bottom recovery
June 8 International gold market comprehensive research and judgment reference
Trend analysis: Thursday gold market bulls are popular, gold prices in the Asian and European markets continue to cross the market, with the American session pulled up sharply, completely recovered the previous trading day's losses, the daily k-line closed a light-legged large positive, showing the low buying positivity. As the dollar index has continued to show a head box oscillation trend in recent weeks, the retreat trend is obvious, making the gold market bulls completely unafraid of the approaching Federal Reserve rate meeting. After several repeated dips to the $1940 line to gain buying support, basically solidified the short-term bottom pattern. It also reinforced the support effect of the long uptrend line since November 2022. Such a classic pattern, coupled with rising market expectations for the Fed to slow the pace of interest rate hikes in June, basically favors gold bulls to launch a secondary rally against the May downtrend, reaching at least the 50% level of the golden split retracement curve, around $2010. The dollar index, on the other hand, has shown a clear head pattern and should have the potential for a sustained pullback toward the 102 neighborhood. Therefore, unless there is a sudden change in market expectations for the Fed to slow down rate hikes in June, gold and the dollar will follow the direction of the secondary correction technical pattern.
Timing analysis. 4 hours kd curve turned back up from 20 scale to near 80 scale slightly and quickly yesterday, showing the strength of the long force. The kd curve has been repeatedly penetrating around the 20-80 scale for the last week, which is very important to solidify the short-term gold bottom pattern and provide the basis for further gold rally back up. Today is expected to continue to test the resistance effect of $1983 upwards, once breakthrough, it is expected to return above $2000.

2023.06.09 03:56 LongIsland1995 Going to Boston for a second time, would like some advice
I went there in 2017 with some friends, and it was okay but I feel like it would have been a lot better if I planned the trip better (something I've become very good at since then). We stayed in the outskirts to save money, and in my opinion mostly did basic touristy stuff.
My friend recently suggested that we go for his birthday, and I accepted. We have the same interests when we travel, so I'm asking on behalf of both of us.
What I'm most curious about, is what neighborhood has the kind of bars and general atmosphere I'm looking for.
For comparison sake: NYC, my favorite neighborhoods in regard to this are the East Village, Lower East Side, Williamsburg, and Bushwick. I'm not expecting a 1 to 1 copy of course, but rather somewhere with a good bar culture. Bonus points for affordability and diversity.
Another thing that's important to me is proximity to good food that's not super expensive.
Other things we like to check out:
-Breweries (besides Sam Adams, which was great but we did it already)
-Parks
-Interesting markets
-Any other cool stuff that's worth checking
For what it's worth, we're men in our late 20s and late 30s.
Thanks in advance!

2023.06.09 03:18 Artzyy_ Fred Meyer Pharmacy lids
I work as a tech in the pharmacy at Fred meyers. I've had multiple older people tell me the lids are difficult and would rather have an easy screw on lid like Walmart and Walgreens have. One customer even complained and said he may have to switch pharmacies since he doesn't have enough strength and coordination to do the ez lids we do have.
Is there any way I could try and petition we get those ones instead? I personally enjoy the lids we had at Walmart when I worked there I just hate to see our customers struggling with their bottles.

2023.06.09 02:52 mellowfellowcello Is this normal for police?
This is in Missouri.
Basically, when I was driving to Walmart there was someone pulled over on the highway. There was 1 cop on one side of the street behind the pulled over car and 2 cop cars in the median.
I drove by with the rest of traffic, and the cop that had pulled over the other car (a state highway trooper) started following me. He waited until I had pulled into Walmart's parking lot and parked before he flipped on his lights and came to talk with me.
He said the reason he pulled me over was because my plates were expired -- fair & true. I am getting that taken care of when I get my next paycheck, but I didnt have the money just yet. So, of course, I gave him my information & when I gave him my ID, he read off my adress and asked if that was a reliable place to contact me. I said it was, then he went to his car for 15 min, came back, let me off with a warning, and left.
When I was heading home, there were 2 cop cars (a state highway trooper & local sheriff car) parked in a church parking lot by my house. They were the 2 cops who had been parked in the median when the cop who pulled me over at Walmart started to follow me.
When they saw me headed home, they pulled out of the church to follow me. I didn't speed, or do anything rash, I just took a quick, different route than normal to my house. When I got there I pulled in the driveway and got out of the car, just in time to see them (speeding without lights on!) down my neighborhood street. One of the cops parked behind me, rolled down his window, and asked if I knew my plates were expired, and I said yes. I told them I had just been pulled over in the Walmart parking lot, and gave the officer's name who I spoke with.
The thing is though, the local cop had no way to know about my plates -- they were too far behind me to be able to see them (seriously). It would have been impossible. I asked him how he knew about the plates and he didn't answer, just rolled up his window and drove away. They didn't even check my information.
When I went inside and told my sister about it, she said cops had been driving around our block for 20min over and over. Sure as anything, when I went back outside, I saw them parked up the hill past my house, before they eventually came back down the street and left.
This whole situation seems so bizarre and unlike any other expirience I've had getting pulled over. I live in a very small town only 10 miles from Walmart... cops are barely ever around.
Is this, y'know, normal? Or allowed? I just don't even know what to think. I'm not worries -- I don't really have a reason to be, I just want to know if others have seen anything similaknow why this may have happened.

2023.06.09 02:47 mellowfellowcello A cop seems to have used my adress (off of my ID) to have other cops follow me home after a traffic stop. Is this allowed?

Context: When I was driving to Walmart there was someone pulled over on the highway. There was 1 cop on one side of the street behind the pulled over car and 2 cop cars in the median. I drove by with the rest of traffic, and the cop that had pulled over the other car (a state highway trooper) started following me.
Can they do this? It feels almost like harassment (though idk the legal definition). Is there anything I can do? I'm already getting my plates done in a few days, but I have no idea why they're putting so much effort into targeting me! I've never even been in trouble with the law.
Any advice/insight is appreciated.

2023.06.09 02:40 Ukasso Y284 Andruvian Party Leader Election: AEP Decides!
In the middle of the Prime Minister’s term, Party Leader elections are held. If the PM loses his or her Party Leader election, then the winner will replace him or her as PM.
Now, the AEP election determines whether Kief remains PM or not.
Each PL Election offers 3 choices.
Felix Kief, a 59 year old Former Factory Worker and MP for Tsukimi Born 1/5/Y225
Elizabeth Solada, a 40 year old former Army Enlistee and MP for Kinrihoku Born 5/1/Y244
Kalisa Willems, a 50 year old former Accountant and MP for Nayama Born 10/3/Y234
Positions in Comments Current Events:
During the Election Process for the Y282 Election, for an entire month the election was “too close to call” between Kief and Berroa. Parliament used the Proposed 6th Amendment to determine the election, which decreed that in such a close vote Parliament would decide who became Prime Minister by negotiation. Eventually, the parliament voted 344-206 Kief and the contested constituencies of Komatsu and Sawaki were handed to Kief. However, this pissed off a lot of people, so the seventh amendment to the constitution was proposed: that the Prime Minister’s seat, in the case of a tie, got handed over instead of random constituencies, to give him a governing majority. (In reality, I flipped a coin 50 times)
On October 1, Y282, Parliament passed the sixth amendment, combining the previous proposed sixth and seventh amendments, that Parliament would need to vote in a contingent election in the case of a tie, and that whoever got the governing majority would have the Prime Minister’s seat given to the governing party. It passed in a 528-22 vote.
On October 17, Y282, the Rising Star Pizza Company Giotto’s was discovered to have been using Domino’s Pizza and passing it off as its own pizza. All chains of the restaurant were closed, and the CEO of the company Sofia Robsen was arrested on charges of fraud. This caused a brief dip in sales and the stock market because people were not buying shares out of fear that other were companies might’ve done the same as well.
On December 8, Y282, King Mikael Fenix of Andruvia passed away, and the country entered a week long period of mourning. His 41 year old son, Prince Maximus II, ascended to the throne as King Maximus II. His Heir is 10 year old Prince Rolf. Children are especially mourning because it means they won’t have an extra day off of school for the King’s birthday, because Maximus’ birthday is in summer.
In January Y283, the annual report by the Ministry of Finance showed that prices and profits and Andruvia were shrinking because prices were going down too low too fast. Meaning deflation was occurring. So prominent RUP MP Filip Groot, a former Stockbroker, created the Groot Plan. The Groot Plan was designed to help inflate prices so that the value of money was not lost by price depreciations. It would do this with a goal called Inflation Y300, that aimed to stimulate economic growth by increasing consumption and reducing demand to stimulate inflation by Y300.
In February Y283, FFM Member Nelson Kabela changed parties to the NFP. This led to the FFM getting a new leader named Prospor Kabajo, and because Kabela was very popular throughout all of Parliament, he easily won Party Leader for the NFP, becoming the first person to lead two parties.
In March Y283, fishermen in the city of Togando saw the power in their boats cut off because some Chilean spies had cut off wiring in the ocean. And there happened to be 8 Chilean Ships in the area fishing too. The Andruvians had 6. Following this, a 2 week small scale guerrilla conflict occurred between the fishermen, and although no one was hurt, things were tense, and 4 ships were sunk on both sides.
In April Y283, Andruvian scientists working on an improved submarine device in the lab of Togando were raided by Chileans, and the whole facility was exploded by the Chileans, leading to protests demanding war. In response, Kief went on national television to explain why war was futile and unrealistic.
In May Y283, a TV Show titled “Work Daze” gained popularity across the nation. It follows average salaryman Mortimer Montoja, who is astonished to learn that his former high school crush Ana Torino works at the same place he does. His best friend at work Nils Garsia urges him to make a move, but Mortimer is unsure because she was much more popular back then. But Mortimer has two obstacles, his flirtatious coworker Rodolfo De Leon, and his snobby boss Mitsuki Morishita. Starring Job Gimenez as Mortimer, Flora Kruz as Ana, Errol Bartamoleo as Nils, Santiago Felix as Rodolfo, and Yuko Yamasaki as Mitsuki.
In April Y283, a local bartender in the city of Togando named Mario Simondini created a drinking game called “Sjelte”. The drinking game involved players being presented with six choices, and they took a shot each time someone voted for their least favorite option. However, officials have warned of the dangers of the game, and the mayor of Togando Hajime Torinashi is trying to create car-free zones because of it.
In July Y283, the Polish Ambassador to Andruvia Tadusz Zavaldski, who had coined the term “feminist conservatism” to describe Kija Drumpf’s campaign a decade earlier, lauded Felix Kief as a pragmatic and bipartisan leader, calling his ideology “pragmatic conservatism”.
In August Y283, while Andruvia and Bolivia agreed to establish Walmart in Antarctica, Chile and Peru agreed to establish Target in Antarctica. This led to the Walmart-Target affair, where each accused the other of being more polluting to the environment of Antarctica. As they dumped plastic into the ocean.
In November Y283, after 8 years of fighting, the coup in Thailand had won their invasion of Laos, and the military dictatorship was established as a true dictatorship. Jai Vannavong, the former leader of Laos, was executed for treason.
In December Y283,MP Kira Prospor proposed the Universal Education Act, which tried to put more emphasis on grades in secondary education. However, the Act was struck by Kief and Parliament, and the vote was 286-264 nay.
In January Y284, MOTAN! released another hit single named “Pull Yourself Up”, about how you need to move on from hard times and look forward to better times.
In February Y284, Chile declared the disputed water areas between it and Andruvia “war zones”, and Chilean police arrested 89 Andruvian fishermen without any reason. In response, Kief passed the Military Act, which jacked up military spending to pre American War levels. He argued that not only would the military improve, but also inflation would happen. The act passed in a 490-60 yea vote. And the AEP and NPP created the “Freedom Coalition” to fight Chile peacefully and improve the domestic economy at the same time. In response, Ottoman Berroa created the “Government Action Now” coalition with the RUP and FFM to advocate for more aggressive means to fight Chile and foster inflation through the Groot Plan.
On March 8, Y284, Parliament passed a law that required that any kids wishing to play “The Penis Game” had to instead shout “vagina” and not penis, in honor of international women’s day and women’s history month.
In April Y284, the Fuku Link Train Company lost nearly 48.5 million Aurs in stocks due to the mismanagement of finances by the new CEO Leonardo Espinoza. The rail industry has been left in shambles, and now, for a short while, cars have become more popular. Conspiracy Theorists supporting the American Machine believe this was done by the CIA to foster a car culture in Andruvia.
In July Y284, the Walmart-Target affair ended up with the Walmart in Antarctica that Bolivia and Andruvia supported got blown up by Chileans, causing massive chaos and violence in those areas.
In August Y284, MP Mo De Leon of the ARP created a coalition with the NAP called the Walmart Coalition that was committed to rebuilding the Walmart in Antarctica. They even got some NPP members, but this eventually split into a coalition that wanted to build a second Target next to the Chilean Target in Antarctica and ones who wanted to rebuild the Walmart. Pro-Target people were the “Toros” and Pro-Walmart people were the “Muros”. However, they all wanted a trade war with Chile, so the coalition was renamed to the “Trade War Coalition”.

2023.06.09 02:03 Sufficient-Skill6012 Question about an MRI procedure
45F, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis/hypothyroidism, endometriosis and adenomyosis, mild HTN; meds: Orilissa, armour thyroid, HCTZ, bupropion.
I have an appointment to get a pelvic MRI prior to a surgery for endometriosis (w/ and w/o contrast) and part of the instructions are to self apply water-based gel into the vagina and rectum to distend them immediately prior to the scan. I was sent an article and brief instructions by the surgeon’s office. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this protocol that can tell me more about how to do this properly? The instructions were very vague. The nurse hasn’t callen me back and i have to go in for the test tomorrow. I was wondering if there are any further instructions or tips anyone can tell me about how to do it properly, like body positioning, or how far to insert the applicator, what to do if I mess it up. If my rectum is sensitive due to constipation, straining and hemorrhoids what should I do? I had to do a self swab recently to test for cdiff (result was negative) and it really hurt. Should I buy extra supplies and practice ahead of time? Is it pretty easy to do? I’m kind of nervous about doing this properly and the discomfort.
The instructions:
“MRI with vaginal and rectal gel self-administered You will need to purchase 1-2 enema bulb/rectal syringe and KY Jelly. You can purchase 1 if you insert in the vagina. Do not insert in rectal and then in vagina when using 1bulb. You will need approximately 50 ml KY for the vagina and 250 ml KY for therectum. Do not administer ituntil you are in the machine, Thefacility will let you knowwhen to do it.You can purchase those at any pharmacy or Walmart. Attached is an article that wil give you moreinformation and you maywant totake it to the facility with you in case they have any questions.”
The article I was sent by the surgeon:

2023.06.09 01:51 CartographerNo9099 How much would steady, fairly close traffic noise bother cats long-term?
I realize this question is not really answerable since no one here is a cat. But I was hoping for some perspective from a group of cat lovers.
We're in contract to buy our first house, which is miraculously affordable given our insane market. We have three cats, one of whom is used to being walked on a harness and the other two who are neighborhood ferals that we've taken in and slowly tamed. Both of our former ferals are currently indoor outdoor cats. It's very important to me wherever we move to give them outdoor access. One of my main goals in becoming homeowner, in fact, was to get a large yard that I could put up Purrfect Fence in to keep them safely contained. This house has a decent size backyard, and we would plan to outfit it with lots of natural features to make it more interesting for them.
The problem is that the reason the house is so affordable is because the backyard abuts a fairly busy road. It's a four-lane, 35 mph road that is steadily busy during the day and dies down somewhat at night. We were just over there at around rush hour to meet with an engineer who was looking at the basement walls and I spent quite a bit of time in the backyard. The traffic noise close to the house isn't terrible but it's definitely a constant presence. When you go down to the edge of the property it's noisy. I was struck by how much quieter it was when we walked out into the front yard to look at some things.
Our cats are used to an urban environment with things like helicopters, sirens, people drag racing on the nearby freeway, but all of those noises are tempered by distance and the fact that they are not constant. For the most part the area immediately around our current rental house is pretty darn quiet. I worry about moving them to this place and having it be where they spend their lives 24/7. Basically I want to build a tranquil outdoor cat paradise, and while personally I have no problem with the traffic noise, I worry that with their extra sensitive hearing it would grind on them day in and day out.
I've also thought about fencing in a portion of the front yard, but after driving around the neighborhood realized absolutely no one else has any kind of official fencing in the front yard. I could possibly put cat fencing up in a small corner of it but it would definitely be very noticeable as you drove down the street.
I also would worry that they would manage to escape and find their way out to the main road, which wouldn't be so much of a concern if we lived further back in the neighborhood.
It's been an absolutely grueling house hunt for both me and my husband, prices being the way they are our budget Etc and the slow realization that there really isn't anything that would meet all or even most of our criteria that we can also afford. This house meets pretty much all of our criteria except for my concern about traffic noise bothering our cats. This issue has caused me untold amounts of anxiety over the last few days, not to mention some strife in our relationship as my husband tried to reassure me that the cats would not be as bothered by it as I think they are.
I realize that this is a cat advice sub and not a relationship or house hunting advice sub, but wanted to explain why it's such an agonizing decision to make. I truly love my cats, and want them to be happy and comfortable. I wish there was some way to ask them their opinions, but of course there is not so I wanted to run this question by a group of people who are just as obsessed with their cats as I am.

2023.06.09 01:28 Tiny-Economy4757 Been homeless for over 7 years because a fraudulent judge and fake receivership company stole my home
I’m not really sure where to start, but I’ve had this baggage for so long and I need to let it out. I’m not sure why, but letting any of my associates or friends know that I’m homeless seems embarrassing to me. Not only that, but after watching people use other peoples trauma against them makes me feel untrustworthy and hesitant to tell anyone anything.
In 2005, my Mom bought her first house in a lovely suburban neighborhood in Massachusetts. She was dedicated to her studies, earned her degrees, and became a highly skilled and knowledgeable registered nurse. Her patients adored her, and she saved countless lives and uplifted spirits throughout the hospitals and homes she was places in. She was the kind of person who would light up a room and treat everyone with kindness, without a judgmental bone in her body.
However, everything changed in 2012 when my Mom was involved in a serious accident that left her unable to work. She required extensive medical procedures, including screws and metal plates in her knees. She was able to receive disability benefits, but her lifestyle took a drastic turn. She became incontinent, lost her mobility, and could no longer pursue her passion or continue the work she had dedicated her life to. Alongside these physical challenges, she also faced mental health struggles, which led her to surround herself with less-than-ideal people. I believe this was due to her depression stemming from her situation. Over the years, her health deteriorated further, and she faced issues like blood infections, blood clots, and fibromyalgia. As a result, she had to frequently travel between hospitals in Boston and our hometown, Springfield. She would then get a grant to make her upstairs area handicapped accessible.
In 2017, she decided to renovate the interior of the house and to cut ties with the company she had previously associated with. But she would gullibly take someone in after they pleaded for help, she would allow that person to couch surf for a couple of days, which extended into weeks. This person turned out to be a squatter who refused to leave. When my mom discovered that he had an outstanding warrant, she collaborated with the sheriff and the police to capture him. Once the squatter left the house, my mom would turned off the water in the house and attempted to condemn the in-law space attached to the house. The squatter returned, but the sheriff and police were able to arrest him. Following these events, my mom fell ill again, leading to hospitalization. During this time, a receivership company contacted her, falsely promising to completely renovate and fix our home.
Instead, this company changed our locks, entered our house, disposed of our valuable belongings, and prohibited us from entering our own home. When my mom discovered this, she took them to court, only for the company to commit perjury and falsify documents. Despite the clear lies and fraud, the judge in Springfield housing court, Dina Fein, reviewed my mom's evidence and documents, only to falsify them during the next hearing. When my mom tried to confront her about it, Judge Fein ordered her not to schedule any further hearings related to our home.
As a result, we became homeless. My mom earned just enough to disqualify us from shelters, but not enough to afford rent elsewhere. My brother and I, being 16/17, would try to search for jobs in an already congested job market, attempting to do what we could do with what we could earn. It became a daily struggle to decide whether to spend the little money we had on the cramped room we were staying in or on a meal to share among ourselves. We slept in cars, on floors, and occasionally rented a motel room when we had enough money. It was even harder because my Mom was handicapped. Many nights, I’d dream of having a room of my own and decorating it and drawers to put my clothes in. We had to squeeze into tiny spaces together, and when we managed to scrape together some money for laundry, my little brother would do his schoolwork in the car. Despite everything, my mom always prioritized our education.
Now that we gotten older, we were able to get jobs, and stay in a not-to-standard place temporarily that had a slumlord. After my Mom would ask the landlord to fix the plumbing and structure of the shed we were in, he would retaliate with that after code enforcement was called. So now we’re homeless again. my twin brother moved to Florida with his friends to try to start anew, and my grandmother is living her final days in NC. So i’m here now, helping with keeping a roof over our heads in a motel. We’ve put in several applications for apartments, so now we’re just waiting on those. Throughout the years I was homeless, and up until now, I would see my friends online, traveling, showing their rooms off, and doing the most basic stuff with their friends, and i’d become envious and depressed. That life was stolen from us. I wanted to go to school and do so much, but how could I when I needed to work overtime with barely any sleep to fund for rooms. My life feels stagnant and i would’ve taken it by now if it didn’t mean my Mom and baby brother would be alone. I just needed to vent. I feel selfish for even thinking such things, and i’m sure my Mom has been placing the blame on herself throughout these years, but silently takes it. I just hope things get better and we win this case, but even the case feels stagnant… still, we will continue on fighting for our house though
TL;DR: Our house was stolen from us from a fake receivership program and the springfield housing court judge, Dina Fein, created fake documents and signed off on fake bills. Now we’re homeless and been homeless for 7 years and it has been a traumatic experience and hindered our lives in many ways. To note, there are groups and websites about this judge and her fraudulent actions taken upon other homeowners and tenant, but nothing has been done yet, and if it has, it’s been under wraps

2023.06.09 01:18 bluueyees91 I found my first box of 0.25!!!!
I just got prescribed Wegovy last week, have had a hell of a time finding my first box. The drama is LENGTHY but I’ve learned a few things along the way.
Last Friday I got the script and my doctor sent it to CVS in my town. After my appointment I stopped by to just see if they could fill it. None in stock blah blah blah. The big thing was my insurance needed a prior approval. No biggie. I called my doctors office and left a message as well as my insurance company (they explained further the same thing). I saw Amazon had it! I called to verify they did have it so I made a first attempt at transferring my script over. I waited all weekend and Tuesday nothing had changed so I made some phone calls to everyone and it was the general thought that this still takes time. This morning I still haven’t seen anything about the transfer happening so I made another round of calls. Amazon rejected it cause they can’t transfer a new script unless it is in stock, also on the back end CVS never responded to the request from Amazon. So naturally I talked to CVS and they said they sent it to Walgreens and to get in touch with them? I hadn’t even talked to Walgreens! Much less request to transfer this to them. After talking to Walgreens they informed me they have absolutely nothing on file for me whatsoever. I got back to CVS, CVS blamed it on their fax machine and somehow it was never received (I didn’t buy the excuse, both Amazon, Walmart AND Walgreens said CVS is not great about this in particular). I had explained to the actual pharmacist where I was trying to send this to, and asked if my script was still there with them. She had informed me yes, and if I find the medication elsewhere I could get her to verbally transfer the script over the phone because that would be easier.
I popped in to Walmart, and out of curiosity spoke with the pharmacist there. He was so very helpful, and informed me he was pretty positive another Walmart nearby had the dose I needed, so I had given them a call. It’s there!!! 3 boxes! So I told them what I knew and started the process to transfer over there ASAP. I’m not sure who the pharmacy tech at Walmart talked to over at CVS, but lines got crossed again saying “it was sent to Walgreens”. It took a few phone calls from then on and finally I got everything to Walmart. Since this was finished about 15 minutes before closing they said they would fill it, and I’ll pick it up tomorrow.
The other half of the situation is my approval from insurance isn’t complete. My insurance company had reached out to the doctors office and haven’t gotten back a reply. I’ve also tried calling twice today with no answer. My insurance company does have a hotline available for the doctor to call, and within minutes this can be complete. So cheers to hoping tomorrow I can plead someone to move on this first thing in the morning!
Lessons learned: when transferring a prescription, both the giving and receiving pharmacists can verbally pass prescription info. It’s less than a 5 minute phone call. I’d recommend this rather than other means especially from CVS. Also if you’re still waiting on your approval, and happen to get lucky like I have then reach out to your insurance company and explain that you want to get this done as quickly as possible… maybe they have a hotline similar to mine. And Amazon… make sure you reach out to someone on the phone before initiating a transfer! They can’t go through with it unless they actually have yours in stock. The other lesson, next time you’re in Walmart or any grocery store that has a pharmacy, just stop by! Either they might have it or you could find someone as kind as I did that was willing to help!
Just be really polite and communicate. That’s all! If it works out tomorrow then fridays are actually a perfect day to take my dose 🤗 I could update later if anyone is curious.

2023.06.09 01:17 Sameon104 The Neighborhood Walmart on Highway 190 to Covington genuinely gives me the creeps, and others that I have been with.
When I went (2021?) , with one other person, a few weeks later, we both concurred it was creepy. Nobody in there talked, there was no music, and it was just overall eerie. People seemed to just kinda stare. It was very strange. Anyone else feel this way?

2023.06.09 01:13 itspoppop98 Debating on buying the 36’ advertised at Walmart…anyone use the after market grill grate attachment?
https://www.grillgrate.com/products/searnsizzle-grate-for-36-blackstone-griddles/ I was looking for a gas grill/griddle combo and thought i’d found the perfect one…The Camp Chef FTG 600 but it’s sold out near me and online. I’m bummed it’s sold out as that was just such a nice grill. They don’t have anything like it and their normal products just have gone way too up over the years.
The one thing that I really enjoyed using a gas grill for was to toss some oysters on them lol other than that I see myself cooking way more on the griddle. Has anyone ever used those grate griddles above? I’m interested in just buying one of those plates and just tossing some oysters on. Obviously I could do it but what do you think? From what I have read these griddles get plenty hot (500+ degrees).
Edit: The purpose for me wanting the grill mate attachment is so i don’t fuck up the actual griddle itself by scratching with the shells.
Also I meant 36 inches..whoops

2023.06.09 00:17 stassdesigns Sketchy? I cancelled an order. Never approved, then said I picked it up?
I got a refund and all but I thought this was sketchy.
I accidentally ordered from the wrong Walmart so I cancelled. It didn’t cancel right away like other orders but i figured since it’s a neighborhood Walmart, maybe they’re just understaffed.
3 hours later I get an email saying a it’s been picked up? Did a employee just take it and mark it as picked up? Gave it to another person? Or what

2023.06.08 23:59 yourewrongiwin Vroom 2.0: The end game and the value this rough market has created.
I'm back with another VRM post. The end game is here, and profits are abound!
TL:DR- Price action shows short side has gotten their fill and are systematically covering. Limited institutional investors and retail investors caught with high cost-basis can add to a violent upswing back to fair valuation. With Carvana claiming to have solved profitability it will bode well for Vroom who was focusing on rightsizing earlier and will likely be a tortoise/hare story.
If you believe in online car buying, investing in Vroom long term can be a 50x stock over the next 5-7 years. Core concept: If online car buying is here to stay then Vroom has the potential to be a major player in a 900 billion dollar industry.
I wanted a very specific car when I was younger and I could not afford a new car. I found that car across the country and bought it sight unseen and had it shipped from CA to VA. That was in 2005.
I have friends who are deathly afraid of the car buying process and want nothing to do with it. Anecdotally the younger generations are becoming more inclined towards digital transactions.
For these reasons I believe that online car buying is here to stay and will slowly grow into a sizeable market. It may seem incredibly simple, but sometimes the most powerful ideas are just that.
- Intro and History
Vroom specializes in buying and selling cars online. They were founded in 2012 and the IPO was in 2020 @$22/Share. Between 2020 and 2021 it they decided to bet the house on revenue growth. Now whether they thought they could outgrow their cash burn, or the executive team wanted to juice the stock price will never be known. Vroom proceeded to sell convertible notes for 600mm at .75% interest. They used that money to overpay on cars to grow inventory and revenue. Unfortunately they were not able to capitalize on any economies of scale and therefore most of the revenue was essentially wasted.
In 2022 a new CEO was introduced- Tom Shortt. Tom comes from Walmart and Home Depot and was involved in growing e-commerce. So it seems he has the pedigree and the know-how. He decided to “purposefully slow revenue” to fix the operational hurdles that lie in the path to profitability. In the past year they have done just that. Quarter over quarter the revenue shrank while EBITDA loss improved with operational fixes coming online and right sizing underway.
Last earnings call was pretty key because they put a line in the sand on the shrinking of revenue. Incredibly they shrank from 934mm revenue in a quarter to just over 200mm last quarter, however the EBITDA loss improved from -121mm to -53mm, which was their best EBITDA number in over 2 years. I know, low bar sucker, they are still losing insane amounts of cash. Agreed, and there is some risk there. Below I’ll go into detail and explain why the tides can turn oh so quick on this poor beaten down and forgotten stock. Back to the line in the sand- last quarter Tom said that they expect January to be the trough in unit sales. This is key because it indicates they have completed most of the right sizing and will start to grow revenue again.
The big question is can they become a profitable company before they run out of money? Last earnings they said they expect to have 150-200mm in cash at the end of the year. That is a bit concerning if you are currently burning 50mm per quarter. That means by end-24’ they need to raise cash which would be fairly difficult and potentially debilitating in this credit environment. On the other hand that is a fair bit of runway and a lot can happen.
BUT- if they control expenses further and have some tailwinds they can prove out the model and then the question is not can they survive but how much of the 900 BILLION dollar industry they can grow into.
My Previous post goes into a lot of detail, so I will try to keep this post to what has changed, and what potential outcomes are on the table.
- Company Landscape
Valuation and Price Action- Detail is in my previous post- Highlights are that the current price is far below book value ($2.90) with the caveat that most of value is cash reserves so as they burn down their runway so does the book value. The presents a catch-22 in the buyout potential explained below. Even with a near 0 or negative book value, if they have shown profit the stock price will be much higher as the market is forward looking. The core valuation stays the same to me: If online buying is here to stay and it is confirmed to be a profitable model, then this is worth much more than the current price.
Price action wise with volume dying out completely there is really no weight you can put behind the price action. 900k shares traded at .80 cents is simply noise. That won’t stop the short side from taking advantage of that and try to squeeze as much out of it as possible. One event to note is that the chairman bought 500k shares, adding to his existing 300k shares a couple weeks ago. This was the first insider buy in about 2 years.
Financially- Some impactful updates: 1) While the executive team has executed the turnaround plan fairly well, the runway starts to become a concern in the medium term and could open up some downside outcomes. Even with that impact if the core concept stays true a short term cash concern is a small hurdle.
Most importantly Vroom decided to take a portion of their runway and pay down the 600m notes. Vroom was able to pay off 235m of debt for around 40m. Not only does that improve the potential upside but it signals that the cash runway may not be a concern to the management team.
Growth- One thought that might be concerning is the time it will take to ramp revenue back up, especially with magnitude of backtracking. The key is to remember that the used car industry is unique in that each induvial SKU is unique and brings in a different type of consumer. This has its diminishing returns as a company gets larger, but VRM is far from that point. That is how they grew revenue so quickly before. To be clear I do NOT expect the new more responsible CEO to ramp revenue that quickly, but it will be faster than one would expect from traditional industries.
Some underlying signs of grow- Inventory has been growing since May and job openings for service sector positions has increased considerably.
- Short Side – This recent (since 2021) explosion of interest in short sellers had a whirlwind of misinformation and I unfortunately had to learn from my failures. Fortunately I only buy shares and not options so as long as I believe in the company patience will be rewarded.
I learned that highly shorted stocks rarely mean a squeeze and likely mean further downside. When a stock shows 0 shares available to short that was touted as a sign a squeeze is imminent when in fact it was that the short side is so sure they are insatiable.
What I see now is systematic covering since volume died on March 20th. And with a very small institutional investor (27.5%) base there is a potential for an upwards spiral. Meaning it won’t squeeze but buy pressure will stay consistent until there is a signal not to. On the off chance there is a heavy retail inflow that are unexpected and there could be a swell. I am personally not betting on that, but is entirely feasible.
- Potential Outcomes- What I like about this setup is that the potential outcomes are clear so you can place an investment accordingly.
Downside- A potential medium term downside is needing to raise cash to continue operations. For this to happen they would need to keep the current loss of 50mm per quarter through mid 2024. With the SG&A picture I find that to be an unlikely scenario. Inventory on Vroom has turned from shrinking to growing and has been consistently growing since May. Management has also said that SGA improvements are not done.
Downside- Bankruptcy- I see this as a no chance scenario. The company has been around for quite some time and has put down big roots. Yes the valuation started too high, got even higher, and was decimated, but bankruptcy is a long way from that price action. With the infrastructure they have there will be a capital solution so they can continue operations and reach profit.
Upside- Buyout – This is an interesting outcome, but as time passes becomes increasingly less attractive because of the cash burn. For example, Carvana could acquire Vroom tomorrow for $3-5 a share and it would be next to nothing if not free. That’s because CVNA could take the cash and apply it to their expensive 10% notes, take on the debt which is nothing in comparison to theirs, and then get all the infrastructure and inventory for pennies. AN and KMX could be players as well depending on how valuable the internal tech stack is to those companies. They have terrible online presence and each has expressed a want to create full Omni channels.
Upside- Profit and Beyond- Last earnings call an analyst claimed that his math shows that VRM needs to double unit sales to get to break even. The management team agreed and followed up with confirmation that there would be no need for additional CAPEX to scale to well beyond those unit sales numbers.
So what does that mean for an investor? What is the true potential upside? Well if break even is at 400m revenue per quarter (1.6bn per year) Vroom could easily be valued 1x revenue, which would put the price at around
$11.50 per share and it’s not even a high valuation. While that sounds like a ludicrous and pumping statement, look at how small the moves have been recently. A forgotten stock is a short sellers dream.
I’ll finish by trying to sum up this whole post: If you believe in online car buying, investing in Vroom long term will be a 50x stock over the next 5-7 years.
