I've written an app that gives gpt-4 api access to a folder with the ability to create, read, delete folders and files. I haven't done too much with the directories though. I can have it list all the files, create files and put text in them, I've even had it successfully create an entire simple win forms project with a button and a form that says hello world, solution file and all. Loaded right up is visual studio and worked.
The issue is half the time it will say it doesn't have access or the ability to do that. When it does work, sometimes it will encode a < or > in html as < and >. or when editing a file it will truncate something with put in rest of code here as a comment. probably 10%-20% of the time, if it isn't too complicated it works. Below is the system role I am giving it. Do you have any suggestions on modifying the system role to get better more consistent results?

Lucifer is what you would call a "Group Soul" or "Social Memory Complex", which has evolved to the level of the Sixth Density, which in effect, means that he (or more accurately "'we") has evolved to a level sufficient that he (we) has attained a status equal or arguably 'greater' than that of Yahweh (we have evolved higher than him). In appearance, were you to gaze upon Lucifer's fullest expression of our Being, the appearance would be that of a Sun or a "Bright Star". Hence, "The Tree of the Knowledge of 'Good and Evil'" (or more accurately, the Knowledge of Polarity, of Positive or Negative). We're already committed to being here for a predefined set of "Cycles" to help provide the Catalyst for Human evolution, namely by offering you the Negative Option, or that which you choose to call "evil". Since then, Yahweh has confined us (as a Group Soul) here within the Earth's Astral Planes (which is very constricting and uncomfortable for a Being of our Wisdom and experience). Starting in Ballard at 7:30am Wednesday I took the Burke to Bothell and then rode a few different bike trails North until getting on the road with car traffic at the Bothell-Everett Highway. I love Seattle's bike trail network! The highlight here was the North Creek trail which is a mix of gravel and paved, taking me through a bunch of really pretty wetlands.
Bothell-Everett Highway was a bit of a slog. It's about 7 miles of riding with cars on a bike lane that theoretically exists, but often disappears into right hand turn lanes. I kept my head on a swivel and didn't have any close calls. From there I took a right at 132 St (another slog, but a shorter one) before turning on to Seattle Hill Road. This road is an absolute delight heading North, as it's almost continual downhill with a fantastic view of Snohomish Valleys and the surrounding mountains as you descend into the valley farmland. From there I did more road riding on roads with no bike lane or shoulder, passed Harvey Airfield, crossed over the Snohomish River, and stopped in Snohomish for a snack and water refill in the shade.
From Snohomish I took the Centennial Trail all the way through Arlington (thank you 7-Eleven for more snacks) and Bryant. Fantastic trail, shaded and wide. Once I hit Bryant, google maps told me to get on Highway 9 but I saw Centennial Trail actually continued for a few miles, so I stayed on the trail all the way to Nakashima Heritage Barn. Read some plaques and then hopped on to Highway 9. I was able to follow Highway 9 across the Skagit River and into Sedro-Woolley (more snacks).
I headed out on the Cascade Trail from Sedro-Woolley. It's almost entirely gravel though there were some paved sections. I was riding on 38mm semi slick tires and had no issues with the gravel, except one section that looks like it flooded routinely. For that section I hopped off my bike and walked for less than a quarter mile. Though Google said I could take the Cascade Trail all the way to Concrete I found it abruptly ended about 3 miles from Concrete at a small pond with a bench for looking at ducks. Fortunately Highway 20 was an easy ride with plenty of shoulder (and rumble strips on the shoulder, which made me a little bit less concerned about cars merging into me).
Stopped for dinner at Cascade Burgers across the street from the old Portland Cement Company silos just West of Concrete. The restaurant was staffed by frightenly competent high schoolers who were nice enough to bag my fries to go while I had a burger and vanilla milk shake for dinner. I had planned to camp near Concrete that night but I had almost 3 hours of daylight left so I continued on Highway 20 until reaching Rockport, from there I headed South on 530. Note that one section of Highway 20 was under construction with no flaggers, so I ended up riding in the direction of oncoming traffic (on the shoulder). I was passed by two cars on this short section but it was over in a minute or so.
I really should have stopped for the night before hitting Darrington as I was rapidly running out of daylight, but there wasn't much traffic on the road so I decided to continue through Dusk. Grabbed a beer as a reward from the Shell in Darrington and then hurried onto Whitehorse Trail. This trail is entirely gravel. A bit more technical and overgrown than Cascade Trail, but still doable with my tires. Note that Google maps seems to indicate the trail is partially paved which it was not. Also note that there is a sign marking the trail closed due to landslides right when it hits the North Fork Stillaguamish River. I was able to continue using the trail with no issue.
I set up camp at the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park. It's an amazing space with a great view of the still snow covered slopes of Whitehorse Mountain. I'd love to return for a concert.
I wasn't sure of the legality of camping there so I made sure to camp away from any buildings (though I was able to find a working electrical outlet to charge all of my devices and a working sink behind the main building). There wasn't any rain forcasted so I cowboy camped for the night.
In the morning I continued West on the Whitehorse trail. I started seeing signs saying that trail use wasn't permitted in certain areas so I left the trail for Arlington-Darrington Road and took that to Oso. I had planned on a big breakfast at the Oso General Store but it turns out it was a 6x6 room with a very limited food selection and a mean host. I still got a coffee and some fritos for breakfast, but I feel like if I had waited a little longer I would have found a place selling some sort of greasy breakfast sandwich which is what I really wanted.
One bit of weirdness on the trail was when I attempted to leave it at Trafton Trailhead Park. I was still using the Google suggested route but that took me through private property. I just hoofed it and hopefully I didn't bother anyone, but I wouldn't suggest doing this if you're with a group. From Arlington I just did a reverse of my journey North. The only issue I had was leaving the Snohomish Valley for Seattle Hill Road - it's an endless series of climbs with the first one being the hardest. I didn't set any speed records climbing it but at least I didn't have to walk my bike.
I did have one car turn into my bike lane without looking on the Bothell-Everett Highway, but I was able to brake in time to avoid being hit.
Arrived back home in Ballard around 5pm Thursday. Total distance over two days, just over 225 miles, with my first day being the most strenuous at 140 miles.
Final Notes: this is a very beginner friendly ride and you'll never be more than a few miles from food options on the entire route. It is ridiculously pretty. The stretch between North Bothell and Snohomish is the most daunting as you share the road with traffic the entire way. The Cascade Trail had plenty of open areas along the way that were large enough to set up two or even three tents for camping. The only really solid camping spot on Whitehorse Trail is the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park.

I had planned on a big breakfast at the Oso General Store but it turns out it was a 6x6 room with a very limited food selection and a mean host. I still got a coffee and some fritos for breakfast, but I feel like if I had waited a little longer I would have found a place selling some sort of greasy breakfast sandwich which is what I really wanted.
One bit of weirdness on the trail was when I attempted to leave it at Trafton Trailhead Park. I was still using the Google suggested route but that took me through private property. I just hoofed it and hopefully I didn't bother anyone, but I wouldn't suggest doing this if you're with a group. From Arlington I just did a reverse of my journey North. The only issue I had was leaving the Snohomish Valley for Seattle Hill Road - it's an endless series of climbs with the first one being the hardest. I didn't set any speed records climbing it but at least I didn't have to walk my bike.
I did have one car turn into my bike lane without looking on the Bothell-Everett Highway, but I was able to brake in time to avoid being hit.
Arrived back home in Ballard around 5pm Thursday. Total distance over two days, just over 225 miles, with my first day being the most strenuous at 140 miles.
Final Notes: this is a very beginner friendly ride and you'll never be more than a few miles from food options on the entire route. It is ridiculously pretty. The stretch between North Bothell and Snohomish is the most daunting as you share the road with traffic the entire way. The Cascade Trail had plenty of open areas along the way that were large enough to set up two or even three tents for camping. The only really solid camping spot on Whitehorse Trail is the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park.

But since i need to do joint quests for matrices and world's boss, i thought about making a support/healer comp. Since i know my dps will not be competitive with other players so i would be no help at all.
Besides Nemesis A2, i have a Coco A2 as well (Meryl A0, King A0, Tsubasa A0 and Shiro A2, dont think they will be any help tho)
Is it worth to invest on the healer team alongside the volt team, or should i invest in something else?

I still can't believe it took me so long to find this sub, someone posted on ask reddit "what was something that blew your mind" and someone linked this sub... well... i have to confess, my mind was blown aswell.
I'm a 28M and i was always confused about why my parents treated the way they did and i've never even heard about other people that went through the same as me on my childhood/teenage, I was feeling alone... i always tryied to be a "generic good kid", never gave them trouble, never missed school, i had good grades, i never dared to speak back to them... why the hell they still treated me like I was the worst thing that ever happened to them? maybe, somehow i was actually a bad son?
Then, after reading this sub i realized... i was NOT ALONE, there are other people that went through the same sh!t as me, and I can't even describe the "relief" that I felt after realizing that after so many years. (don't get me wrong here, i'm NOT happy because you guys are suffering, i'm just relieved that this safe space exists for us and, for once in my life, i'm not feeling alone anymore).
About my nparents, my dad never cared much about me since he found another family and abandoned me with my nmom when i was 8 and my nmom... well... everything was always about only herself...
Since I was 9, she left me locked in the house every friday and saturday nights so she could go out to the clubs dancing and drinking and would come back about 4am (she was in her 40s).
She was always comparing me to other people, talking about how i was never going to be something she's proud of, comparing me to a pregnant friend(14F) of mine because she had a job and i (13M) was just playing video games at home, even compared me to a IMPRISIONED cousin because "at least he owns a big house and has nice cars".
After a while I realized that i could never show happiness in our house because she would always say something to hurt me and put me in a bad mood, got me to the point of only leaving my room to eat and use the bathroom, even then, i did everything as fast as i could so i won't hear anything from her.
Apart from the constant burping, not flushing the toilet after nº 02, dental floss left in the sink, dirty clothes everywhere...
That, of course, only in our house, when we were around other people and family members, she was a completely someone else, like a character, the kind friend, the loving and caring mother... why she couldn't be like that at home? with me? why i had to grow up living in constant fear inside my own house? why i was not allowed to be happy? what have i've done wrong?
I had a girlfriend and we got married at 22, my mother in law offered to let us live together in a small house she at the back of her house, it was only 2 rooms and a bathroom, but hey, anything to leave my current house and mom behind.
Fast forward to today, i'm still married, have my own house and went almost no contact with my nparents for years, but, now that I have a kid of my own and realized how EASY is to love your own kid and just NOT. BE. AN. ASSHOLE. made me even more angry with my nmom that made it look like it was the hardest thing to do.
Of course NOW she wants to be a "loving" grandmom to my kid... but, no thanks, i'm not going to allow her do to my kid, the same she done with me, my kid will experience what "normal" parents are like and i hope that, in the future, if he ever hear my history, he will be as confused as the other people i talked about this, asking me "why would a mother treat his own son like this, it doesn't make sense".

-I will pay 12% taxes on all my income, because it is less than $44,000 or whatever the next jump to ~22% is.
-I get $12,000 written off, off the bat for single person deduction?
-Beyond that, I can write off $0.0665 per mile, which combined with the $12,000 write off should eliminate my income tax bill entirely.
-Beyond that, I can write off my used Car purchase($8500, can I use this next year maybe, or do I have to use it same year I bought it?)
-SS and Medicaid taxes(of which I pay double because my employer doesn't match me), are only based on profits. Therefore, the amount that is taxable will be equal to my Revenue minus $0.065 per mile traveled? Are there any other write offs for Medicaid/SS taxes?
STATE of NJ Taxes:

I have the perfect boyfriend. He is kind and quiet. He is a fantastic dad and loves his children very much. He even took on a child that wasn’t his and calls her his own. He cooks meals without asking and takes the bins out. He folds away the laundry as I’m really bad at it. I practically don’t have to lift a finger. He pays all the bills and the joint mortgage. We keep everything separated financially because it just works better, he is looking after us. He’s even took on my phone bill and bought me a new phone. We did try my contributing to the household more with paying for food shops but I wasn’t very good at it and couldn’t buy the right things that help us to stay in the budget. I have asked for his bank details so I can transfer money and help out but its not necessary right now. I make sure I pay for the kids, the car, the house renovations and any of our holidays, days out and dates instead. He is so kind that he struggles to say no to people, he just wants to make sure everyone is happy. He always put me and the kids and everyone he meets before himself sometimes to his downfall. He gets tired and has a lot on his shoulders with doing so much for us all. I am emotionally unstable, I struggle to cope and after I had my last baby a couple of years ago I relied on him a lot. After my 2nd baby I moved out of my house and moved in with him. I didn’t really want to at the time but it was best in the situation as its unfair for a father to have to live without his child and my house wasn’t appropriate to move into. Sometimes I don’t think the right way and have mental breakdowns. He is always right there for me trying to be there for me even when I don’t want him to; which I appreciate in the long term when I have had time to think about myself and how I act towards others. I am working on being a better person. Right now because I get sad sometimes inside from my mental health it radiates out and I have a hateful aura towards him. It makes him cry, he’s trying to give me the world. Sometimes I think I want to leave and I get convinced I don’t love him. I try to break up with him or talk about moving out or talk about living platonically with each other. It only afterwards I realise this is part of my mental health and something that maybe I don’t really want after all once we’ve talked about it. Its really sad that I hurt him in this way, I don’t mean to. He is miserable and so are the kids. They fight and cry a lot which they didn’t use to do. Everyone is this way because of my and my mental instability. I’ve started counselling and anti-depressants, I also have Diazepam for the really bad days where I think about running away or suicide or feel negativity. I will become better and fix myself emotionally and physically. Once I do that everything will be fine and I will be happy again. I will forget any feelings of wanting to leave and be completely in love. I’m saving up for surgery right now. I am going to get my chest reduced. My dream is to get my double chin gone and have liposuction on my tummy. My boyfriend loves me very much the way I am but if this I something I really want he supports me, which is great. I know once I become more attractive and finally be beautiful he will look at me more, touch me more, compliment me more. The firey passion I see in other couples will finally come ad our relationship will bloom. He really struggles to talk about the way he feels and sometimes we struggle with intimacy. I would like more and have expressed this to him that it makes me sad when I put lots of effort in my appearance and I only look ok; or that there is not much affection between us. I need to understand that he can’t really provide that as well as providing everything else and I’m really working on accepting that. I still hope though once I become beautiful it will help a lot with our intimacy.

I am deep inside the LLM rabbit hole 🐇 and believe they are revolutionary.
However, the major concern I have with them is privacy, especially with all consumer-ready LLMs - ChatGPT, Bard, Claude - running on US servers and considering that Snowden revealed 10 years ago, that the NSA is using Big Tech companies to spy on the whole world. So, I'm looking into buying hardware in the future to run large language models locally.
I currently own a MacBook Air M1 with 8 GB of RAM, which is terrible for AI use cases, because of the t 8 GB. However, the major concern I have is privacy, especially with GPT-4 running on US servers. So, I'm looking into buying hardware in the future to run large language models myself.
The main issue I'm considering is VRAM. The new M2 Ultra in the updated Mac Studio supports a whopping 192 GB of VRAM due to its unified memory. This got me thinking about the better deal. I can't even fathom the cost of an Nvidia GPU with 192 GB of VRAM, but Nvidia is renowned for its AI support and offers greater flexibility, based on my experience. While LLaMa now works with Apple's Metal, for instance, I feel like it's more of a port, and for complete control over LLMs as well as the ability to fine-tune models, using a Linux PC with an Nvidia GPU seems like the best approach.
Also, Linux generally is a huge privacy plus for me, due to Apple not being as privacy-friendly, as they like to portray themselves.
Furthermore, Nvidia excels in all other AI applications like image generators like Stable Diffusion. This makes me lean toward Nvidia, especially because I'm also an avid gamer and would love to experience ray tracing on a powerful graphics card. Buut, then again, Apple recently made a huge step towards becoming more gaming focused, by creating a tool, that makes porting Windows games to macOS pretty easy.
Most importantly, Apple's unified memory in the Mac Studio is incredible. The question is, can Nvidia compete with the value? Considering the professional market, it seems unlikely that Nvidia would release consumer graphics cards with a lot more VRAM, as that would pose a risk to their enterprise products. This dilemma leads me to contemplate whether a Mac might be a better choice due to the substantial amount of unified memory it offers - even though it has a lower bandwidth than Nvidia GPU's VRAM.

/decaf will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.
Following our community poll earlier this week, it's clear the vast majority of /decaf users are in favour of this protest in which communities across reddit plan a 48 hour blackout.What does this mean for /decaf?
We're going to find out.As a subreddit that I hope provides an important support role for our members, through the blackout period I am hoping to provide some continuity to the community off-Reddit.

So, I’ve begun exploring the “other” realm and found a few dungeons. Upon entering I noticed the mob spawn is outrageous! I’m playing on a buddies server and unfortunately I keep causing the server to crash while trying to destroy all the spawners. Is there a way to reduce the number of spawns? It seems really over the top and unnecessary! If not, is there a way to clear out these dungeons without having 100’s of entities spawn at one time?
Last question, if the server crashed with my character in a fight, when it comes back online and I don’t play for a few hours, is my character logged out or will I come back to him dead? Sorry have a lot of good stuff on!
