I have a question about the Bologna concert in Arena Puccini. Why do you think they chose to play in such a small venue as this open-air cinema, which sadly was not even full? Surely, it is not really worthy for them in financial terms. I am not good at estimates; can anyone say how many people were there? My romantic guess is that they wanted to practice as a group and jam in a cozy small place in front of European fans, but in this case they would play more songs I guess..

Ok hear me out. This episode hurts me in a such a weird way. I’m not a Dean fan at alllll. Ultimately, Dean and Rory’s relationship was going to end, they were doomed to fail. But there’s something in me that hurts for Dean a little in this episode. He was wrong for cheating on Lindsay with Rory, obviously. I just feel so sad that he got married at what, 19? Then ruined his marriage for Rory, who, in this episode treated him kind of like garbage. She walked out with a big group of rich dudes and he must have felt so small. And then, I mean, she didn’t seem to give much of a shit when he left? Like they’d grown apart and this episode was meant to show that, I wish it had just been done in less of a crap on Dean kind of way haha.

Starting in Ballard at 7:30am Wednesday I took the Burke to Bothell and then rode a few different bike trails North until getting on the road with car traffic at the Bothell-Everett Highway. I love Seattle's bike trail network! The highlight here was the North Creek trail which is a mix of gravel and paved, taking me through a bunch of really pretty wetlands.
Bothell-Everett Highway was a bit of a slog. It's about 7 miles of riding with cars on a bike lane that theoretically exists, but often disappears into right hand turn lanes. I kept my head on a swivel and didn't have any close calls. From there I took a right at 132 St (another slog, but a shorter one) before turning on to Seattle Hill Road. This road is an absolute delight heading North, as it's almost continual downhill with a fantastic view of Snohomish Valleys and the surrounding mountains as you descend into the valley farmland. From there I did more road riding on roads with no bike lane or shoulder, passed Harvey Airfield, crossed over the Snohomish River, and stopped in Snohomish for a snack and water refill in the shade.
From Snohomish I took the Centennial Trail all the way through Arlington (thank you 7-Eleven for more snacks) and Bryant. Fantastic trail, shaded and wide. Once I hit Bryant, google maps told me to get on Highway 9 but I saw Centennial Trail actually continued for a few miles, so I stayed on the trail all the way to Nakashima Heritage Barn. Read some plaques and then hopped on to Highway 9. I was able to follow Highway 9 across the Skagit River and into Sedro-Woolley (more snacks).
I headed out on the Cascade Trail from Sedro-Woolley. It's almost entirely gravel though there were some paved sections. I was riding on 38mm semi slick tires and had no issues with the gravel, except one section that looks like it flooded routinely. For that section I hopped off my bike and walked for less than a quarter mile. Though Google said I could take the Cascade Trail all the way to Concrete I found it abruptly ended about 3 miles from Concrete at a small pond with a bench for looking at ducks. Fortunately Highway 20 was an easy ride with plenty of shoulder (and rumble strips on the shoulder, which made me a little bit less concerned about cars merging into me).
Stopped for dinner at Cascade Burgers across the street from the old Portland Cement Company silos just West of Concrete. The restaurant was staffed by frightenly competent high schoolers who were nice enough to bag my fries to go while I had a burger and vanilla milk shake for dinner. I had planned to camp near Concrete that night but I had almost 3 hours of daylight left so I continued on Highway 20 until reaching Rockport, from there I headed South on 530. Note that one section of Highway 20 was under construction with no flaggers, so I ended up riding in the direction of oncoming traffic (on the shoulder). I was passed by two cars on this short section but it was over in a minute or so.
I really should have stopped for the night before hitting Darrington as I was rapidly running out of daylight, but there wasn't much traffic on the road so I decided to continue through Dusk. Grabbed a beer as a reward from the Shell in Darrington and then hurried onto Whitehorse Trail. This trail is entirely gravel. A bit more technical and overgrown than Cascade Trail, but still doable with my tires. Note that Google maps seems to indicate the trail is partially paved which it was not. Also note that there is a sign marking the trail closed due to landslides right when it hits the North Fork Stillaguamish River. I was able to continue using the trail with no issue.
I set up camp at the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park. It's an amazing space with a great view of the still snow covered slopes of Whitehorse Mountain. I'd love to return for a concert.
I wasn't sure of the legality of camping there so I made sure to camp away from any buildings (though I was able to find a working electrical outlet to charge all of my devices and a working sink behind the main building). There wasn't any rain forcasted so I cowboy camped for the night.
In the morning I continued West on the Whitehorse trail. I started seeing signs saying that trail use wasn't permitted in certain areas so I left the trail for Arlington-Darrington Road and took that to Oso. I had planned on a big breakfast at the Oso General Store but it turns out it was a 6x6 room with a very limited food selection and a mean host. I still got a coffee and some fritos for breakfast, but I feel like if I had waited a little longer I would have found a place selling some sort of greasy breakfast sandwich which is what I really wanted.
One bit of weirdness on the trail was when I attempted to leave it at Trafton Trailhead Park. I was still using the Google suggested route but that took me through private property. I just hoofed it and hopefully I didn't bother anyone, but I wouldn't suggest doing this if you're with a group. From Arlington I just did a reverse of my journey North. The only issue I had was leaving the Snohomish Valley for Seattle Hill Road - it's an endless series of climbs with the first one being the hardest. I didn't set any speed records climbing it but at least I didn't have to walk my bike.
I did have one car turn into my bike lane without looking on the Bothell-Everett Highway, but I was able to brake in time to avoid being hit.
Arrived back home in Ballard around 5pm Thursday. Total distance over two days, just over 225 miles, with my first day being the most strenuous at 140 miles.
Final Notes: this is a very beginner friendly ride and you'll never be more than a few miles from food options on the entire route. It is ridiculously pretty. The stretch between North Bothell and Snohomish is the most daunting as you share the road with traffic the entire way. The Cascade Trail had plenty of open areas along the way that were large enough to set up two or even three tents for camping. The only really solid camping spot on Whitehorse Trail is the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park.

So my wife and i recently started going to a new church. I had set up a meeting with a pastor thinking it was about joining a small group. I get there and he proceeds to tell me his testimony for about 45 minutes about how he thought he was a Christian but realized he still had sin in his life, then he made Jesus his lord “for reals this time” and since then he…hasn’t sinned i guess?
I told him my story of how I came to faith later in life and have a history of anxiety depression and drug addiction. He told me that when we are saved we become a “new creation” and these “patterns of sin” shouldnt be happening in a real believers life once we are saved, even though I have confessed and repented. According to him, a relapse is a good reason to question my salvation. He told me that i should have no assurance of my salvation and that i should go through some book with him to find out if im actually saved.
This theology raised major red flags and reeked of self righteousness and elevating certain sins over others. He singled out sexual sin and drugs and alcohol as those that shouldn’t be in my life if im actually a new creation.
I felt condemned and discouraged leaving that meeting. Has anyone ever run into this sort of horrible exigesis of the bible that conveniently leaves out Pauls struggle with sin, 1 john and other passages that show that Christians still sin? 2023.06.09 10:14 communist-crapshoot The Claires *are* social democrats *not* secret communists and seizing the harbor was not in itself a revolutionary act. It's long past time fans stop lying to themselves and start engaging with the Marxist "ruthless criticism of all that exists" at the core of the game, as was always intended.
Let me preface this lecture by stating that I *am* a communist and have been for over a decade and that before I can get into what I think the Claires are supposed to represent I need to address why Kurvitz & Co. chose a videogame as the preferred medium for their metafiction. The reason Disco Elysium was made the way it was wasn't simply to entertain people with the funny antics of an alcoholic, superstar, hobo cop or to strive towards critical acclaim so the game would sell better. It wasn't even a game made by communists for communists (I mean it was made by communists it's just not preaching to the choir as much as some might think). In fact it's quite the opposite. The story was injected with nihilistic humor and offered up to the general public in the form of a video game to sugar the pill so to speak. That's because Disco Elysium is, at its core, a highly controversial political treatise and social critique "disguised" as a video game. This was so as to get as many people as possible to actually engage with its core messages instead of reflexively rejecting or ignoring them the way they would've if those messages had been presented in the format of non-fiction literature. To put it bluntly the main message of the game is how self delusion reinforces the very things it seeks to escape whether those be personal problems like loneliness or societal ones like the anxiety inducing political limbo of Revachol/the real world. Included in the delusions of a political nature Kurvitz wanted people to confront were many held by the bulk of the contemporary left. Sadly, judging by what I often see in this sub, the results of this novel approach at polemics has been mixed.
I have to admit it's disheartening to see how many fans of the game only engaged with that social and political criticism to the extent that it was leveled at their political enemies, especially when the "authorial intent" was to confront players who might delude themselves about the future implications, present realities and/or history of their own real life politics, whatever they may be. In some cases this ignorance is forgivable; it's easy to miss subtext in a game that's so text based that it has a habit of spelling things out for you and tbf many of the allusions to real life figures, events and ideas are subtle and without a solid grasp of 20th century European history and theoretical Marxism most of the satirical references will go over a typical player's head. What's not forgivable is how many people in this sub are in denial of or otherwise consciously rationalize the criticisms of their own side presented by the writers of DE. I'll get around to how centrists and right-libertarians are guilty of this in future posts but for right now I want to address "my comrades" because, frankly, some of you scare me with your naiveté, hyper-partisanship and blithe hand waving of corruption and needless violence.
Now there are two kinds of leftists I often see who want to view Evrart as a crypto-communist figure and despite being polar opposites in most respects they have two things in common: they're both childishly naive and they're both in denial about the realities of how vicious social democracy can be in practice. The first leftist is a social democrat who thinks that because Evrart is a machiavellian strongman figure that he must be an expy of Stalin and/or Mao (who in their minds are genuine representatives of communism) because "never, ever would a real social democrat do such things, after all we're unassuming trade unionists who want nothing more than to work things out democratically, through the existing system!" The second leftist is a communist who thinks that because Evrart is a machiavellian strongman figure that he must be an expy of Stalin and/or Mao (who in their minds are genuine representatives of communism) because "never, ever would a real social democrat do such things, after all they're unassuming trade unionists who want nothing more than to work things out democratically, through the existing system!"
The truth of course is that prejudices aside Evrart is a social democrat AND a tyrannical strongman. As for his plan to seize the harbor, while it's certainly threatening to Wild Pines' bottom line, the RCM's authority and the union's enemies in Martinaise, it does not in any way pose a genuine revolutionary threat to the capitalist system as a whole and, as weird as it may sound, is still reliant on working within the existing system. After all the union didn't seize the means of production in an armed rebellion against the capitalist state so much as Wild Pines legally handed over some of its corporate property to the union to avoid the bad PR of the merc tribunal which in the end was only tangentially related to the strike. By the end of HBD's investigation all that has changed for the (surviving) workers of Martinaise Harbour Terminal B is their employer. They went from being the unionized employees of the Wild Pines Group under which they had to smuggle drugs in secret to get by to becoming members of a de jure workers' co-operative under the Claires' control where they can now smuggle drugs more openly. That's it. Is that better for them? Maybe, probably, but even so they're still reliant on a global system based on commodity production and exchange and the selling of their labor power (and hardcore drugs) for money, they've just cut out a few middlemen so to speak. Once the strike is officially declared over La Puta Madre's henchmen, not the soldiers of the Coalition, are going to be the union's most immediate threat. Wild Pines itself probably isn't even that hurt by Evrart's plan as the value of what was lost in revenue and real estate can be mitigated by the amount the company will save from no longer having 2,000 + employees on its payroll every quarter.
Oh and to those pragmatists who think Evrart is just a well intentioned man willing to step up and get his hands dirty for the sake of his fellow workers because no one else would or as Call Me Mañana puts it "The old man is corrupt for our benefit" this next part is for you. We know from interviews that Evrart was partially inspired by the character of Frank Sobotka from the second season of the HBO hit TV series The Wire. That said Evrart is in many ways a sort of anti-Sobotka insofar as he's not just reluctantly working with mafiosos; he *is* a mafioso. If you haven't already seen The Wire you need to stop reading this and go watch it to not only understand my next point but because it's literally the best TV show ever made. For those who have seen The Wire I'm 100% certain you'll agree with me that neither of the two hypothetical leftists from earlier could seriously claim that Sobotka was a secret communist or anything other than a reformist labor leader even though he's guilty of most of the same things that supposedly make crypto-commies of the Claires. I also don't think anyone who's seen the show would strongly hate Frank for getting involved in those criminal dealings the way they would the Claires even if some might still think both are wrong for having done so. Most importantly I don't think anyone who's seen all of season two of The Wire and played Disco Elysium to completion would ever claim that the Claires cared more about the Martinaise dockers than the Sobotka family did the stevedores of Locust Point, Baltimore. So what explains the gulf between the two unionistas (besides murder)? Why was it less bad when Frank Sobotka engaged in labor racketeering than when Evrart and Edgar did it? It's simple really, Frank Sobotka demonstrated more authentic labor solidarity, internal conflict, selflessness and above all self awareness than the Claire brothers ever did.
So to summarize: the Claires are written as a counter to those players who have what Lenin called trade union consciousness (meaning social democrats, progressives and center-left, reform minded liberals) who think that the problems of capitalism can be solved simply by increasing the number of trade unions, by legally incorporating more worker co-ops, by expanding strike funds, etc., in a word, reformism. Additionally DE's writers, who're communists, want to knock reformists off their high horses so as to get them to stop lying to themselves and recognize that there is corruption, hypocrisy, violence and even a small presence of incipient fascism in many real life unions, both past and present, and that existing reformist movements, organizations, etc. are just as susceptible to being hijacked by populist demagogues as revolutionary ones are/have been and moreover that they're not always the politically correct, morally unimpeachable, nonviolent alternatives to revolution that they present themselves as. In the end class conflict and its resulting violence goes on whether anyone wants it to or not. It can be and often is a totally subconscious process driven by need at both the individual and group levels. That said the longer class conflict goes on without being consciously directed towards the abolishment of the socioeconomic system whose inherent contradictions bring it into being in the first place, the more chaotic it will become until the point where the mutual ruin of the competing classes is all but guaranteed as a result.

I also don't think anyone who's seen the show would strongly hate Frank for getting involved in those criminal dealings the way they would the Claires even if some might still think both are wrong for having done so. Most importantly I don't think anyone who's seen all of season two of The Wire and played Disco Elysium to completion would ever claim that the Claires cared more about the Martinaise dockers than the Sobotka family did the stevedores of Locust Point, Baltimore. So what explains the gulf between the two unionistas (besides murder)? Why was it less bad when Frank Sobotka engaged in labor racketeering than when Evrart and Edgar did it? It's simple really, Frank Sobotka demonstrated more authentic labor solidarity, internal conflict, selflessness and above all self awareness than the Claire brothers ever did.
So to summarize: the Claires are written as a counter to those players who have what Lenin called trade union consciousness (meaning social democrats, progressives and center-left, reform minded liberals) who think that the problems of capitalism can be solved simply by increasing the number of trade unions, by legally incorporating more worker co-ops, by expanding strike funds, etc., in a word, reformism. Additionally DE's writers, who're communists, want to knock reformists off their high horses so as to get them to stop lying to themselves and recognize that there is corruption, hypocrisy, violence and even a small presence of incipient fascism in many real life unions, both past and present, and that existing reformist movements, organizations, etc. are just as susceptible to being hijacked by populist demagogues as revolutionary ones are/have been and moreover that they're not always the politically correct, morally unimpeachable, nonviolent alternatives to revolution that they present themselves as. In the end class conflict and its resulting violence goes on whether anyone wants it to or not. It can be and often is a totally subconscious process driven by need at both the individual and group levels. That said the longer class conflict goes on without being consciously directed towards the abolishment of the socioeconomic system whose inherent contradictions bring it into being in the first place, the more chaotic it will become until the point where the mutual ruin of the competing classes is all but guaranteed as a result.

Blizzard has delivered a crushing disappointment with Diablo 4, a catastrophic fumble in the cherished franchise that has left me grappling to adequately express my profound discontent. And just for clarity, I am neither a die-hard Blizzard enthusiast nor a veteran of the Diablo series – my prior experience consists solely of Diablo 2.
The game seems to be in the throes of an identity crisis. It’s a genre-shifting mishmash, a horrifying Frankenstein's monster of an ARPG, MMO, and a Diablo-skinned 'looter shooter'. This bizarre, directionless amalgamation teeters on the precipice of failure in each genre it attempts to embody.
As an ARPG, it has action aplenty, but role-playing is woefully absent. There are no stats to tinker with, only a lackluster spread of skills and passives, with no sense of progression as everything tediously scales to your level. As an MMO, its offerings are pitiful. In-game chat functionality is rudimentary at best, trading and group finder features are conspicuously missing, and all we're left with is a mind-numbing carousel of repetitive side quests and events.
It’s clear that the game's fundamental identity is lost in the woods, with no map to guide it home. One can't help but wonder if the creators themselves knew what they were trying to construct from the outset.
The 'online-only' requirement and 'game as a service' model is a blatant nod to shareholders and executives at the expense of the gaming community. This strategy, fueled by corporate greed, has served only to hamstring the game's longevity. Congratulations, you've purchased a limited-time window to play and enjoy this game before it's unceremoniously yanked offline.
I harken back to the days when I could install Diablo 2 from a CD and play it offline, without the need for a constant internet connection. The acceptance of this new behavior of selling temporary access is a grim indictment of the current state of gaming.
In terms of gameplay, Diablo 4 is a systemic disaster. A whirlwind 20-hour campaign, spread over three sessions on world tier 2, was marked by utter monotony. I was either sprinting past or obliterating enemies in my path with a yawn, and bosses melted away like butter on a hot skillet. Then, without warning, the game performed a full-tilt pivot at level 40. The once trivial elite enemies became arduous, and bosses transformed into a marathon of evading projectiles and painstakingly whittling down health bars.
Your enjoyment of the game becomes a gamble, dictated by the capricious hand of luck. The scale can tip either way – finding the right gear can make the game ridiculously easy, while the absence of it can transform the game into a frustrating slog. Because the game scales enemies to your level, there's no 'lower level' area to fall back on if you're struggling, or 'higher level' area to push into if you're finding it too easy.
Your progression is essentially held hostage by the items you possess and their modifiers. However, these are contingent on the fickleness of RNG, creating a system that is fundamentally flawed. You're expected to incessantly grind, all the while gambling with your time for the possibility of a better item or an appropriate modifier.
This isn’t even scratching the surface of the steaming pile that is Diablo 4. A cursory look at the skill tree reveals a depressing lack of depth in character progression. What was once an exciting element of skill point allocation in Diablo 2 has now been relegated to randomly rolled aspects on randomly dropped legendary items. And to add insult to injury, the game caps the points you can put into a skill, only allowing items to exceed this limit. This not only encourages further grinding and re-rolling but also begs the question – why even include a skill tree in the game?
As for the story, it is so underwhelming that skipping the cutscenes becomes a mercy, saving you from the painful dialogue and lifeless interactions. The static world map, devoid of any true exploration value, is a massive letdown. The game feels more like a tour guide, showing you where everything is, thus erasing any sense of discovery and replayability.
In essence, Diablo 4 is a spectacular failure, an unfortunate soul lost between genres, trying and failing miserably to establish a clear identity. It robs us of any real character progression, leaving us at the mercy of a broken RNG system. It delivers a story so uninspiring and a world so static that it makes you long for the days of Diablo 2.
I honestly believe that a $10 Diablo-themed slot machine would've offered more entertainment, or a B-rated Diablo movie would've been more captivating. Instead, I parted with $110 AUD for this haphazard, uninspiring mess of a game. And believe me, it's every bit as dreadful as it sounds.

I'll be visiting USJ next week with a friend, but the only "Express" tickets available were for the Super Nintendo World VIP Tour.
Unfortunately, there was only one ticket available for different time slots, so I ended up booking both just in case.
Contacted USJ and asked them whether there would be any way for us to be on the same tour, but they said that since these tours are really small, there's nothing they can do.
Okay, fair point. But since I didn't really care for the "tour" aspect in the first place, I asked this person whether we could just enter Super Nintendo World together and get the Express Tickets, just as I paid for, because that shouldn't be such a big deal right? She replies that that's not really how they do things in Japan, so tough luck.
Any advice on what I can do here? Thanks so much!

super casual player here. Finally finished the base world tour and i learned world tour gave some really bad muscle memory that could be a very easy fix on capcoms side...
In world tour, the SP button is Go Ohsatsu (QCF+HK) For Juri, there is an SP button for Ankensatsu (QCF+MK) and Saihasho (QCF+LK)
small thing but now my muscle memory translates SP for Go Ohsatsu instead of Saihosho so this will take awhile to learn.
Now I know what some of you classic players are thinking, just learn to QCF EZ but...
To make things more confusing to OD Ankensatsu/Saihasho you press the auto button (can be done with SP or actual QCF command), to OD Go Ohsatsu you need to press the MEDIUM button with QCF+Heavy.
TLDR wished world tour unique skill was Saihasho and wished Ohsatsu could OD with the auto button

So i (18f) is in a situationship with a boy (18m) and things haven’t been that great. I have been feeling as if we are going around in circles and not actually reaching anywhere. I feel extremely suffocated in this situation. Not that he is toxic but he has been acting very immature lately. He has been posting stories which are indirectly attacking me and being mad over small things.
He doesn’t give two shits about my mental health. I understand he cant console people but he straight up disregards my feelings. I literally don’t know why am i keeping up with this shit but I am. We do have the same friend group so i am probably scared of all the judgements i’ll get after i break things off. My problem is he expects me to act as his girlfriend all the fucking time but wont give in when i want him to do the same. And why should i act like his girlfriend we were never in a relationship. I have been feeling like a POS lately with everything around me.
My friends have started noticing that i am no longer extremely happy or active. I dont jump around like a baby anymore, i am rather serious and frustrated. He has been getting on my nerves a little too much. I have tried talking but there’s barely anything to talk about anymore. I am tired of him cribbing about how i dont text him much when in reality i get “lmao”, “damn”, “lol” from his side even in real life.
I dont why i am writing this, maybe i am just ranting. Also maybe you can give your opinions if you want.

I'd like to hear what you have to say about this topic, if you had similar experiences and how you dealt with them. Let me break down the situation.
A new gym opened in the town I live in, big franchise name. I was excited since I just moved back into town and wanted a gym that has good competition training, a motivated coach and a system that's known to create world champions and high level competitors and from talking to the coach via IG it seemed to be just that.
I waited months for the gym to open and after a few hiccups it finally did. The coach seemed competent and excited to be here and the first few sessions were fine. After a while he started to become more negligent, playing with his daughter during class (his gym, his rules I guess?), having almost hour long monologues, very seldomly rolling with us. Mind you "us" means 2-3 people at that point. People were not coming in by the masses despite the big brand name.
One of the students asked if he could let us know when his child is gonna be in class with him. And he refused and took it so personally he basically started ignoring the student and treating her like she was some super villain. More weeks passed and here and there a class was just cancelled, or he assumed no one was coming. Sometimes it was just me showing up at 6 am for training and he tought I wasn't coming because I didn't text him the day before which I thought was weird.
After a while more people joined and he tried to make a good impression on them by being friendly, roling with them and giving proper training. Once they signed up the quality started declining. He was often times on the phone for 3/4 of the class, stopped rolling with us almost completely and had us repeat drills for almost all sessions of the day, not specific sparring or anything, just the movement. And after that free rolling. There was no concept or anything. Sometimes he'd just say "today you are just stretching", Like, what did I come here for? Are you a yoga instructor? Or "today only sparring". And it seemed like he was just too bored to coach.
Now here is where it gets interesting one day he just left. We had keys to the gym so we could enter as we pleased since we were only a small group of people at the gym and it was a very familiar setting. I got there after a small vacation and asked the others where the coach is and they didn't know either. Is it normal that a coach just leaves and doesn't give you a task for the time he is away? I mean there were two people in charge of opening and closing the gym but they didn't get any input as to what the plan is for the time away. So what we did is try to work on a few techniques and work them into concepts, which was a big plus for us and especially the beginners.
We talked about the situation among ourselves and why our coach just left without proper input or explaining what's going on and we felt very confused and abandoned, me especially because I was preparing for one of the biggest tournaments so far.
After a week or so our coach came back and said "today only rolling". No "hey sorry for just leaving", "how was the week, what did you do?" Nothing, like the whole situation never happened. Through Instagram we saw he was taking care of his other school abroad. I know it's just a week, but in school if the teacher is missing for only a day, the substitute gets stuff to do for the class right.
Since I knew one guy in training was heavily injured and the other one rather old, I asked camly but with a touch of confusion "Only rolling? Can we do something else where we can learn a bit better, like drills or something, rolling is fun and all but we might need something else right now." He was clearly not happy I asked that and was like whatever, I said roll but you can do whatever you want. So we did as he said and sparred for an hour.
After class I asked him if he had time to talk, so I could address the whole "leaving without notice" situation, and he said no. But started a meltdown where he yelled at me for "disobeying his orders" "trying to be the boss" and being disrespectful with how I said it. He imitaded me and said I made a super annoyed sound like "pfffft roolling?? reaaaaally??? pffffffffffffff cant we do something else???" I apologized to him for the way it came across and for how it made him feel and started to address the actual topic and he basically said "we are lucky he didn't just close the gym" and if we want to know whats up we should have texted him. After about an hour of talking and realising he either doesn't get the issue or just doesn't think he's at fault, we left. After a weekend we talked about the issue again and now he alleged that us talking about his week of absence is talking shit about him and not being loyal and basically us voicing our opinions in the gym in front of the cameras is considered a betrayal.
Long story short, I left the gym and the remaining 6 months of my contract and started at another good gym. But from what I hear classes are still getting cancelled randomly and people are being ignored or maltreated for no apparent reason.
How can someone file a complaint about this gym owner / franchisee?
Is this grounds enough for a partial refund of my membership?
